Question: I need advice on my friend situation.? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 05:43 PM PST So for the past two years I've been apart of a group. It's five of us plus some people who hang out with us. For the first year it as so great. We all were similar and just had tons of fun. But this year it's gotten bad. Four of the girls have bonded together because they go out with one another more than I do. This means I'm always left out of conversations and jokes. One of the girls I swear just loves to make me feel as left out as possible. She's always trying to make me feel as small as she can. They all seem to feed off one another when it comes to making fun of me. They tease the way I walk, talk, eat and dress. I'm so done with it but I can't leave or I'll be alone. I have no other friends but them. I want to stick up for myself but whenever I do they are like "oooo it's that time of the month for someone!" Which drives me crazy.
Question: Okay I might be in a **** load of trouble at school??? Help? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 05:38 PM PST Guys, so there's this really mean girl at our school who just bullies everyone. So, me and my friends just brought her up and said stuff like 'she was really mean to me' and just harmless **** like that (not to her face, obviously) but someone told the teacher we were BULLYING her and now me and my friends might get in a huge amount of trouble. The teacher doesn't yet know it's us for sure but she's onto us. How can I make her believe I wasn't bullying that girl? okay wait one more thing: we've kinda had a history of being a bit irresponsible (we've changed!) so i think the teacher might think we did it. what can i say to her to make her believe we had NOTHING to do with it. (i'm okay with lying)
Question: Not all friendships are worth it? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 05:16 PM PST I have friends who I talk to 3X a week and that helps me so much be mentally stable and I have friends who talk to me once every couple months. The friends I talk every couple months is simply not worth it. I don't see a point in talking to someone every couple months. Talking to someone weekly has a better bond? What do you think?
Question: Is it normal to feel really old at 15? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 05:01 PM PST I feel more like a 14 year old than 15. Then I still remember being 12 like it was yesterday. I'm not interested in driving, working, college, dating and moving out yet but will occasionally do volunteering and that's it. Basically, I just want to meet new friends, keep up with schoolwork, and read novels. There's four more months before my 16th birthday and it's quite nerve wrecking. I feel like a grown woman sometimes. I can relate and have common interests more with kids a grade below me compared to the grade 10s (my grade)
Question: Teenage girls who can drive would you have done this? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:58 PM PST I just got home form dropping my best friend off at her house. Since it was nice out and I did not go in anyplace and came right back home I just drove barefoot and did not bring my shoes.
Question: Everyone always thinks im gay? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:58 PM PST everyone thinks this because im unathletic, non-toned, short, poor, and because i always hang out with girls. everyone associates negative things with being gay
Question: How do you make friends online? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:47 PM PST It used to be you'd join forums or use the likes of ICQ. Then social media like MySpace or Facebook took over. What is there now to make friends online? It's not always an option to make friends IRL, or you may want to try to make friends with people locally online to hopefully meet IRL at some point - e.g. money is tight for me so I can't always go to meetup.com events etc. so making friends online first could be a good option for me to make new friends in real life.

Posted: 01 Dec 2017 03:02 PM PST My father was killed in action in Iraq in 2004 at 19. Now I'm 14 and some guys at school told me he died for oil and that he died in vain.I told them to back off. We were basically discussing middle east in class and I basically told that we should respect servicemen and a guy,Josh, told me "just cause your dad died in Iraq doesn't mean it was necessary to go,dude he died in vain,he just wanted to get rich" and laughed. I just punched Josh and got suspended for 3 days.School board (and my mom) want me to apologize to Josh but that's not right. My friend Amy (basically my only friend) told me "what would your dad want you to do? would he want you to get suspended? don't think so" I don't know, she may be right but my dad ain't here so I don't know what he would tell me and that moron just laughed about it. What should I do? Melissa: he wasn't a soldier,he was a MARINE
Question: A friend is ignoring me! What do I do ;(? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 02:17 PM PST I broke my promise of being mean, and now they're ignoring me! I really like them, so it sucks ;( How do I get them to be my friend again? :) We do talk in person? They still ignore me ;(

Question: Did I do the right thing to keep my mouth shut? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 12:58 PM PST I have a good long time friend Lisa who recently got married. She introduced me to her new husband Sam, I became friends with Sam. Their house needed some repairs and Sam asked me if I could replace the cooktop, repair some of the plumbing leaks, and install new light fixtures. I did this one day when they were both at work. Sam paid me in cash and asked me not to say anything about it to Lisa as he wanted to surprise her. About a week later I was at a social meeting and Lisa was there. She was telling people how handy around the house her new husband was. She said he had taken a day off from work and replaced the cooktop, repaired some of the plumbing leaks, and installed new light fixtures. My first reaction was to say "Sam didn't do that, I did". But I had second thoughts and didn't say anything. If she wants people to think Sam is handy around the house, I don't think I should be the one to tell her that he isn't. Did I do the right thing by keeping my mouth shut?

Question: How to deal with an annoying friend? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 11:57 AM PST So I have this friend who in the past two years has been driving me crazy. We are both people who don't enjoy being wrong. But while I don't like being wrong she LOVES proving me wrong. If I say something she always looks it up and makes a production if I'm wrong. I don't mind being wrong but I don't enjoy being proven wrong. I hate talking to her because she argues with everything I say. She also likes to make fun of things about me like the way I eat or walk or talk. When she does this my other friends join in and suddenly I'm the laughing stock. I have tried to make it known how mad I was but so far nothing. I'm at a lost as to what to do.

Question: Jewish roommate destroyed our “Merry Christmas” sign? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 10:35 AM PST I am a senior in college living with 3 other girls. Two of them and I bought a sign saying "Merry Christmas" to hang outside our door. The other girl is Jewish so she wasn't pleased with the sign, and destroyed it while she was in our apartment by herself. When one of my other roommates got back, she saw the sign in the trash all banged up and the 3 of us were upset with the Jewish girl. The dorm manager made her either give us money for a new sign or face consequences, so our replacement sign now says "Happy Holidays". We are well aware that the Jewish girl has Autism/Aspergers, but that still didn't excuse her behavior. I know the holidays season involves much political correctness, but were we overreacting to our roommate? Why or why not?
Question: My ex-best friend and I made up and became friends again in my dream? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 10:15 AM PST I had a best friend from high school but we fought and drifted apart after the graduation. I don't plan on being friends with her ever and completely threw her out of my life. I don't regret it and I am very happy how everything is at this moment. Last night, I had a dream about her crying and apologizing to me. Both of made up and became best friends again. What does this dream mean?
Question: Is my girlfriend telling the truth? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 10:07 AM PST My girlfriend has a friend who she gets very physical with. I know they used to cuddle and sleep in the same bed, they play fight and sometimes even hold hands, sit on each other's laps. My gf also used to invite her over late at night until sunrise, but refuse to sneak out and see me when I wanted to. I was suspicious and when through her phone today to see their chat. The girl had travelled and has been gone for a week.My gf said she misses her and everything, her hugs and cuddles that made her feel safe, comfortable, warm. She says "Oh baby your VN's are everything. You make my day. You are addiction" In 1 VN she said "im sorry I didn't call you back again, my boyfriend called but I'll call you tonight. I really love you, you're everything to me." She sends her photos of her cleavage and a VN of "You wanna see a video of me stripping? Bet you'll love it". They video called the other day and my gf was showing her bra. In one VN she also told her "my boyfriend is cheating on me and I want to break up with him, I don't feel the love I used to. Things are changing. And you- you're always here for me,whenever I need you, but he's not. you're the first person I think of ." The other girl told her "I love you so much and I'd to anything to make you happy but don't do crazy decisions right now." I spoke to her about it, and asked her who is that girl to her. She said "haha just a really close friend." Is she telling me the truth? Is this something girls do?
Question: Feeling left out and can’t seem to make new friends? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 10:06 AM PST so i just started highschool, i'm a freshman and i have two friends that i've known since elementary. one of them is my bestfriend and the other is a close friend. they both always seem to humiliate me or sometimes make jokes that go way too far and everyone seems to think it's funny. i don't even know if i'm overreacting but i feel left out most of the times. nowadays they're just friends i talk to because i know i can't talk about my personal life or how i feel around them. i don't trust them and i'm just tired of feeling left out and feeling anxious of meeting new people. i have met a few friends tho but we can't just seem to relate to anything. oh and my grades are starting to get worst and i'm just feeling lonely and depressed sometimes. i miss how things used to be in middle school.

Question: How to make friends when everyone hates you? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 09:02 AM PST When I say everyone hates me, i'm not exaggerating. I've been in the school district my whole life. I've never been through an emo/edgy phase, and i'm not right now, so no, i'm not saying everyone hates me just to be edgy. My school isn't very large either, so everyone knows me. Everyone either hates me or barely tolerates me. The only friend I had was very... manipulative, so after 4 years I finally decided I should stop hanging out with him. Now I'm trying to keep my fragile friendship with a girl I've known for 2 years, nut it's falling apart because i'm a pessimist and a sadist. Also I can't talk to people because I have Asperger's, so don't say "Just talk to people!" I'm always home alone because my mom is always working, and nobody else comes over so that just adds fuel to the fire. Just give me some actual ******* help please.

Question: I really hurt my friend and I dont know what to do? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 08:13 AM PST I really hurt my friend in the year below me. We were on the bus and I meant to tap her with my foot as my hands were full and accidentally really hurt her. when we got off the bus she shouted at me that she doesn't want anything to do with me. I'm really scared she is going to tell our school but even more importantly, I'm really want our friendship back. I'm already sent her a long text to her telling her I'm sorry and its an accident but I don't know what to do. And even worse, she is on crutches
Posted: 01 Dec 2017 07:20 AM PST Hi I am 16, a guy. Last year, I became friends with a girl who was a Freshmen in my Computer Applications class (High School) and I became really good friends with her. I know she has a boyfriend. I text her "I love you" sometimes and she replies back saying "I love you too" since we're friends. She knows that I love her as a friend anyway. So she is friends with someone in my grade (I don't want to use names, so I'll call her person A) and person A sent a text to a friend of mine who she's friends with (lets call this person B) and person A sent him a text saying "will you do me a favor please" person B responded saying "yeah what is it" person A: tell (my name) to stop telling (my good friends name) he loves her, like seriously she has a boyfriend and its not OK". Since when is it "not OK" to tell a good friend you love her? the reason I know this is person A has me on Snapchat and sent me a screenshot of the conversation. is this "not ok"
Question: Do you think coworker friends are a stupid idea? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 06:50 AM PST It seems like on occasion whenever a new employee comes along they want to be my "friend" and go outside of work. I personally don't like this. It creates a problem of professionalism.
Question: Does social media make people look busier than what they are? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 05:14 AM PST It seems heaps of people are always posting pictures of themselves with friends or at weddings or doing stuff and I'm alone with barely any friends. So does social media make people look busier than what they actually are?
Question: Don't want to invite but feel bad not inviting. What would you do? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:52 AM PST What would you do? A few years back, a few girlfriends and I planned a trip. One of my other girlfriends was going through a hardtime and I invited her and paid for her portion of the trip. She's a hard working professional who has been through some personal troubles and had not taken a vacation or any time for herself in a long time. It was my pleasure as she has been there for me so many times. From my perspective and her words on the trip, she hated it. didn't want to go to the beach, didn't like the restaurants, did not like the sun or sand, did not like the activities, the lodging wasn't up to par, there were fish in the ocean waters and bugs in the tropical climate (seriously...), boats are ugh, the shopping wasn't good enough. It was exhausting and really killed the mood of the trip. I've planned to go back and she keeps dropping hints that she wants to join. I told her that I thought she hated it and she complained about all of the above again but finished with a desire to go back. I suggested she plan a trip and I'd be happy to join, but she did not like that. I don't want to deal with the negativity but I also feel bad for excluding her.
Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:49 AM PST me and this dude were really good friends until about a year ago, where he ended his friendship with me and every other online friend he had suddenly. I still considered him a friend, and now i'm becoming friends with him again under a name that makes him think i'm a different person. we voice chatted once before, and idk if he will remember my voice or not, and i'm quite scared. don't you dare ******* say "you should have moved on" or **** like that, please just tell me what i should do.
Question: What would happen if I injected myself with some soda? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:45 AM PST So my friend Jacob and I found this sort of needle/syringe thing behind 7-11 the other day. I still have it at my house but I haven't done anything with it yet. Anyway, he kinda dared me to inject myself with some soda a few minutes ago. Could this make anything bad happen inside my body? The only soda we have is diet root beer. Could I get sick from this?
Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:25 AM PST Ok so I'm in high school but i don't hang out with friends much outside of school. I was invited to a friends house Though. I'm probably way over thinking this but if my friend opens the door he'll obviously let me in, but what do I say if a family member who's never met me before answers the door? What am I supposed to say to make them know that me and my friend are planning on hanging out and that I'm planning on coming in?
Question: Poll: Which friend would you cherish more? 1 or 2? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:24 AM PST 1 is someone you get along with very well. Thing is, 1 doesn't seem to contact you as much and you feel like you're always the one who initiates. You don't feel as important to him. 2 is someone you're not as close to but 2 tries to maintain the friendship and seems to appreciate you more.
Question: I feel too young to be an adult? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 03:36 AM PST Just turned 22 but I feel like the same person from high school.
Question: I don’t want to be friends with my boyfriends mom, is that wrong? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 12:47 AM PST Now I want to make this clear! My boyfriends mom is a saint in a lot of ways. She is intelligent, caring, motherly, and she would do anything for anyone in need. However, I don't want to be her friend. I don't have many "adult friends" I find that we don't have much in common. And of the adult friends I do have, they are all incredibly goofy and extroverted. It's hard for me to make friends and I don't have many. My boyfriends mom, as nice as she is, always seems to expect something from me. Idk what that is, but it makes our conversations tense. I'm not a huge talker anyways so forcing me to do so is just going to make for awkward convo. I don't mind this but I think it takes a toll on her so I tend to avoid long conversations. She wants to know me as well as my own mother and I think that's too much. My mom and I have a VERY complicated relationship and while I love her dearly I don't want another Mom. Yes I have told her ALL of this but because of how I am, she has told my boyfriend repeatedly that she thinks I'm rude. I'm just a quiet listener and she expects too much of me. Am I doing something wrong?
Posted: 01 Dec 2017 12:34 AM PST I've been talking to my friends older brother who I like and he admitted he has liked me for a year. I took a screenshot of the conversation and sent it to my bff. I let my friend (the one with the older brother) on my phone. She looked at me and my bffs messages and went home to tell her mum. Her mum told the brother. The brother confronted me and now he wont talk to me or even read my messages. I know I ****** up. I sent him a paragraph explaining how much I was sorry and how I wouldnt say or show anyone anything from our conversations ever again. When I say i'm sorry I mean I wont ever do it again. PLEASE HELP ME I WANT AND NEED THIS RELATIONSHIP TO GROW We're going to the movies tomorrow which was planned a couple of days ago before this whole incident. What am I supposed to say? 'Are we still going to the movies?'
Posted: 01 Dec 2017 12:19 AM PST My bf comes from a family that has had it very well. He grew up in a really nice part of the city. When I say nice part I don't mean some suburban place but like really nice place in the center of the city. And his friends kind of reflect that. He went to med school and his friends are all doctors, lawyers, bankers and those type of people and their parents are those type of people. Nothing wrong with that but it's just not what I am used to. It's not like I grew up in a trailer park but my parents and my friends were generally people that didn't have extra money to go around. The difference between my friends and his is that my friends are a bit more colorful. They are loud, they are fun and something always happens with them. Listening to his friends talk about their made up problems makes me just roll my eyes. They are perfectly nice people but it's not like I want to hang out with them any more than I have to. I completely understand that he has a tough time getting along with my friends too. But we are great together. We come from different worlds and we don't have to force something between our friends that isn't there. To me the important bit is that we click. But all his past girlfriend have been kind of in the friends circle. So now for him it's weird. I can perfectly well socialize with them, smile and be polite but I doubt that we'll become BFF:s. Why must we click with each others friends?
Question: Please help me?! I'm so fed up and confused!? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 11:31 PM PST There is this guy I like so much! He likes me back. We exchanged photos one another. He always ask for a photo but he would say things like "nice, me like, oh you turn me on". And when I ask him if I look sexy and such. He would always apologize and be like "Oh only her she is only one that was sexy, perfect and beautiful." He would always mention his ex. I would tell him how it makes me feel. He tells me he hopes I'm over my ex which I am. He isn't over her he lied to me that he was after a 6 year relationship. He would always tell me how such a beautiful woman she was. And he started to talk about how my friends have sexy butts. He hardly compliments me like he did in person. It hurts me. Then few days ago he said he would marry this girl that left him. That made me cry because few months ago. He said he would marry me if we have a good connection. He say things that is nice and kinda hurtful. I thought about blocking him and never speaking to him so many times. Is he playing mind games with me or what? He always say things like "Oh u will leave me one day like the others. And no we aren't dating. I'm 20F and he is 20,something. He never tells me his actual age. We met at work. Known him for almost a year. Exchanged # back in August this year. Everytime I ask him why and his ex broke up. He ignores me and tells me not to pry in. After he asked me why me and mine broke up. Does he like me or not!? I'm tired of dealing with this tbh. Not saying he is a bad person.
Question: Why are rich kids assholes? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 10:35 PM PST Basically in school im being bullied by this rich kid who judges me at almost everything I do such as making fun of me for saving money, buying cheap clothes, minding my own business and he always wants answers from me its like he wants information if I try to ignore him he will grab me and punch me if I don't answer my question he is also really popular kid in school he keeps on ordering people to turn against me and beat me up someone please I can't handle it anymore! The other reasons for bullying me is because im very geeky and pretty skinny its also my music taste that makes him bully me (Metal, Hard Rock, Punk Rock, Grunge, Progressive Rock, Hardcore Punk) I don't really know why he always wants my attention he really enjoys hurting me I always tell my parents and teachers but its still not working my parents are planning to go to school to talk to the teachers about this.
Question: People keep asking me if I am ok or not when I feel absolutely fine? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 10:26 PM PST Whenever i don t smile or don t have any facial expression people just assume there s something wrong with me, they will walk me into a corner and ask me" Tel l me who pissed you off, i ll take care of it for you!." or ask me" Are you feeling ok?" or even worse " U look like you are so worried." I don t know.... like i really don t want to keep fake smiling 24/7 it makes me tired. Is there anything i can do to NOT make people think i am upset when i am not upset at all!! It is very serious, one of my psychology professor saw me sitting in class with my normal relaxed face and she asked me what's going on, and if there is something bad happened in my life, and she won't mark me as absent if i leave and take the day off, i was like...... ok???

Question: Need friendship advice, what do you think my friend is trying to do with me? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 08:56 PM PST we were suuuper close friends, and eventually separated little by little. She then moved to korea for a year and ignored my msgs, especially a very personal one. I felt hurt. She also commented on my pictures, sometimes I feel they were sarcastic comments, but maybe Im wrong. Not to say she randomly unfollowed me from instagram. I deleted her from everywhere and completely ignored her existence. Nonetheless, were still on a same fb group that consists of several other friends. She always comments my posts and acts as if were still bffs (even when I so blatantly ignore her) Its so weird to me, what game is she playing?I need a 3rd point of view.
Question: My friend could be a rapist- how do I deal? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 08:41 PM PST So I ve had this friend for a few months now. We hit it off very well from the start and our friendship turned into a more "friends with benefits" type deal rapidly. We would kiss, cuddle, do sexual stuff, flirt relentlessly but still maintained a friendship. I d spend almost every weekend at his house, occasionally having sleepovers with him. A mutual friend of ours recently told me that about a month ago, a girl we all knew went over to his house and got **** faced drunk. I was not there but i saw snapchats and can attest she was blackout drunk- she could barely even walk straight. Apparently he took her up to his bedroom and took advantage of her (It s not my story so I wont go into detail) She woke up the next morning with no pants on and no memory of the night before. After finding this out about him- I have been honestly so disturbed. He was so sweet and caring towards me and I genuinely trusted him so much. I ve known for a few weeks now and don t know how to deal with the situation at all. He has no idea I know or that anyone knows. Should i confront him? Should i even stay friends with someone like that? I mean I ve slept in his bed with him before he could ve easily taken advantage of me several times and chose not to- so why did he do that to her? It s hard given how close we were, we literally acted like we were dating in some aspects. IF anyone could give me some advice on how to deal with this tough situations- thank you

Question: Help!!! I am getting bullied for having a weird birthday? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 08:01 PM PST My birthday is on February 29th and i get bullied for it. Everyone tells me "That is not a real birthday" and people at school are calling me an alien because of my birthday. This is really bothering me. I hate this. I wish i was never born on that stupid day because i can't celebrate until 2020 now. Do you think that i have a weird birthday? Everyone at school seems to think so.
Question: I'm going to cut off this guy who's been through rehab. What should I say? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 07:25 PM PST There's a guy i've been talking to who's been addicted to drugs and has gone through rehab. He's been clean for 6 months. I think it's best that me and him stop talking because I don't want to be involved with someone who's like this. I'm very sad about this as I enjoy talking to him and I don't feel as lonely when i'm around him. Now i'm gonna have to go back to having no one to talk to and being bored on yahoo answers for a living. Anyways. How do I tell him that we can't be friends anymore?

Question: Do you think what I did was stupid? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 06:06 PM PST My teacher allowed the class to use our phones while researching for a project. We were partnered up, and when the teacher walked out of class to get something, I decided to show my partners my house on Google Map. They saw my exact house and also my address. And then it got out of the group, so basically, everyone in the class knows where I live at. My school bus parked directly at the neighborhood sign, so I have to walk home and nobody knew where I live at. The worst part is that my parents aren't rich and my house is kinda old. So now, everyone is laughing at me for being poor.
Question: Is it harassment to contact someone everyone once in a while? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 05:05 PM PST Let's say someone doesn't feel like talking to you so you leave them alone, then you contact them a few months later. They decided to talk to you, then they decide that they want to be left alone again. Thinking about waiting several months and trying to contact them again.
