Question: A man tried to kidnap me? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 02:03 PM PST So basically I was walking my dog in my neighborhood in Maryland I'm 14 and there was this car in the middle of the road and this man was sitting in it doing nothing so I passed by and the man got out immediately and ran to his trunk so I got weirded out and ran a little with my dog closer to my house and the man started driving over to me since I ran down the road and he stopped his car next to the side of the road and asked if I need a ride (clearly I don't bc I'm clearly walking my dog) and I said No thank you and started to walk away but the man drove next to me again and asked me to get in because he has something special to show us, I said no again and walked away fast again and then he got out of his car and started RUNNING at me so by then I ran to my house with my dog and now the man is just right outside my house and I'm really scared should I tell my mom?
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 01:54 PM PST last night I had an embarrassing experience. I was "choking the chicken" in the dark and watching pornography, It was very weird stuff but anyway i fell asleep with my phone in my hand and I think my mom saw what I was looking at. Her and my dad closed their door and started discussing what happened. She seems angry and won't even talk to me and my dad hasn't said a word. they are highly religious btw. (I promise i'm not trolling). I've been having a panic attack over this what should I do ? but I'm worried because it was a site called chaturbate and i was on the Mature 50+ part. She's acting like nothing happened now but its still very awkward
Question: What s wrong with my grandma and uncle ? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 01:51 PM PST My mom had a kidney removal surgery yesterday and it has been very stressful. My grandma and uncle came to visit us because my sister, brother and I had to prepare her for the surgery. I thought it was sweet because we did need the support. But the problem is I don t think they are genuine. They both lived with my mom at a time and got put out. Because they didn t want to act right and was mistreating my sister, brother and I . My sister and I feel like they are jealous of my mom because she takes care of her kids and is doing well in life.. unlike them. But today she was being annoying by invading my privacy, asking questions about how much things cost and watching us in the house. There s is a tv in my mom s room and she doesn t watch it. My mom is still recovering in the hospital and I want to send her home. Her brother brother doesn t even call her ever, but wants to act concern. They both bad mouth my siblings to the family. It hurt so bad because we never did anything to them. I don t like they way the treat my mom at all. My grandma didn t even raise her. Was an alcoholic all her life. I feel like her doing those annoying things in the house is to get in our business .. because she doesn t live with us anymore. She even bust in the bathroom this morning. After I showed her I didn t like it.. she continued to act like she did nothing wrong.

Question: How can I make sure my wife has a son and not a daughter? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 12:11 PM PST I only want sons and no daughters. Is there a way to make sure I get a son?
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 11:55 AM PST During the weekend I dropped my sister off to her play at a local high school in what is normally the drop off area. (I know bc my brother attends the school). My sister is 9 so I waited until she was completely into the building and saw her teacher. A woman walked up to my window screaming "There's a cop giving out tickets to everyone parked in the fire lane!" I said so... and she yelled "so you might want to move your car!" I flipped out on her & basically told her to mind her own business because I'm not "parked" and there were many cars behind me and in front of me. I was irritated that she only came up to my window. My bf walked over as I was yelling and told me that I overreacted and that I should chill/apologize because the woman was only trying to help. I don't buy that for a second but now he's sorta afraid of me and thinks I'm a hothead. He didn't see the whole thing. I don't think he ever sees my side. Should I try to control my temper? Did I over react?
Question: Does my sister have a foot fetish? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 11:47 AM PST I'm a 19 year old male, she's only 12. Every night before we go to bed she offers me a foot massage, and I accept. She'll massage my feet for over an hour without stopping. And she doesn't seem to mind the fact that my feet don't smell too great.

Question: My mom is pregnant with my stepdad and i dont trust him yet. Any advice? (15yo M)? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 11:10 AM PST My real dad and my mom split when i was about two years old. I obviously cannot remember how he looks like, what his name is and what his personality was like ( it still remains a mystery to me) i have never been told why my mom split up with him and most importantly what his name was. It feels wierd for me to ask my mom out of the blue because i cringe just thinking about it. I have only known my stepdad for about 1 and a half years which to me is not long enough; i dont trust him. My mom and my stepdad has both been married twice. My stepdad has two kids who lets say are disrespectful and my stepdad doesn't even bother to control them when they misbehave. The reason why me, my sister and my aunties dont trust my stepdad is the fact that my aunties think his a "player" and he had a divorce because he hit a woman (most likely his ex) i dont know why though. Now i find out my mom's pregnant with him and i know its my moms choice but i dont feel safe around him ( i just keep picturing him attacking my mom and it just makes my blood boil). As selfish as it sounds i dont want to be part of this family ever since he arrived i think i have been depressed i keep getting paranoid and picture him attacking my mother. I just want to focus well in school and get the hell out of this place. im not angry or upset maybe just a little worried for my mothers welbeing. I only found out today from my sister my mom still hasnt told us yet.
Question: Was I sexually harassed? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 10:56 AM PST When I was 9 or 10 years old I was at my dad friends house, and I was sitting on my dad lap and then out of nowhere he lightly put his hand on my private parts outside of my pants but then he said sorry that he thought he dropped his keys, but his keys were on the table but he thought I was dumb, I told him it was okay but he never did anything like that since then, idk if I was techinally sexually harassed but it always made me uncomfortable and I would get uncomfortable when people would touch me on my thighs.
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 10:45 AM PST They were hostile and unfriendly over many years or they simply had a very superficial relationship (such as being a facebook friend) It has been 10 years since my brother and uncle told me not to call again and I have not called since and do not want to call them
Question: Why does my husband family take facebook so seriously? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 10:29 AM PST They wont add me bc i offended thrm with some posts and they now tell my sister in laws kids to not add me either. Its Facebook. They say i am the drama ,but everytime i am with them thry bring up what i post and want to argue . I dont know ,i wish i never added them in the first place ? His brother and sister dont post out picture because that means we arent members of the family lol its insaine why do they take it so seriously
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 10:19 AM PST How do I avoid getting hurt by this woman's words? I am afraid she will distort something my Mom says about me being afraid of what family thinks of me and get my Mom's sisters mad at me. My Mom gets along with her brother but not her 3 sisters. I always try to be nice to all so not to lose family relationships. When I was little my Mom forced me to lose family. This friend of my Mom's is perfectly friendly but is a snake to do this.
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 10:06 AM PST I have immediate family but my grandparents have died and my parents are estranged from the extended family. Times I have reached out myself to extended family it falls on deaf ears with them. I am not even asked to weddings of cousins. I feel hurt at Christmas that we are the outsiders in the extended family. How do I get over the sadness and loss in this so it doesn't ruin Christmas? It wasn't always like this.
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 10:03 AM PST Both are spoiled and entitled and impossible to like.
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 09:52 AM PST I only know my stepdad for 2 years (probably less) and he is already pregnant with my mom. He seems like a nice guy but my aunties dont think so they think he's a "player". I know its my moms choice and she can decide whatever she wants to do but i do not want anything to do with that child. And please no one go all emotional on how she gave birth to me because i understand all of that. She always asked me if i ever wanted a brother or sister and i would always say "no" i just dont think i know my step dad long enough to trust him. He has been married twice like my mom obvs. He has two kids (annoying as ****) any advice on what i should do?

Question: My sister is a brat and my parents don't care about me? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 08:35 AM PST Whenever I try to do something with my sister she always makes it worse by doing something she knows I don't like, or pushing me, and talking really sassy. I go to my room almost every day because of her! All she has to do is fake cry and my parents come running over and say to me " what did you do to her!! Go to your room!!" Sometimes I even have to go to my room for the whole day!! She can hit and do anything to me and not get in trouble, When if I do just one little thing I get in trouble! Also my parents think that I do everything wrong, and if something is messed up they think I did it!! Please help me figure this out. I try to tell my parents that my sister gets me. Mad but they don't listen. I know they love my sister more. Please help!! Also sorry this is so long.
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 08:34 AM PST Even when I know its her right to do so because its hers, Is it the right thing to do to give away jewelry that is suposed to stay in the family, to other more distant relatives, I dont agree with that, I think it should stay in the close family, even when she has the right to do so . What do you think .
Question: Is a 50000 dollar take home pay good for a family of four? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 07:15 AM PST My dad makes a take home pay of 50000 dollars is that good for a family of four?
Question: My aunt wants me to buy her son a birthday present, but I don’t want to? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 06:33 AM PST My aunt has a son who is turning one soon. The little boy isn't even blood related to me or my uncle. She said the my uncle is the father, but even an idiot would know that's a lie. She was gone for an entire year and an half and out of no where, she came back with a baby boy after my uncle started his business. Nobody in my family knew she was even pregnant. Although me and her are really close, my parents have told me many times to not talk to her because she is a bad influence on me. I didn't believe it, but now I'm starting to. She is extremely lazy, doesn't work, and I feel like she is using my uncle's money. The sad thing is that my uncle loves that baby boy. My parents think that he is one of the most stupidest human being on earth. Your wife went to have a baby with another man and comes back after you become a boss to use you. Since the baby's birthday is coming up soon, my aunt has constantly sending me hints and sending me pictures of toys like she wants me to buy it for the baby's birthday. I usually just leave her on read cause I'm not gonna spend my money on the baby. Like hell no. I feel like she's thinking that I am going to buy the present. But I don't want her to be mad and find out that I've never bought a present. Like I'm only 18 and I don't even have a job. I'm a full time student. And even if I do have a job, I'm not going to spend $30 on her baby (the toys she sent me are $30 and up).

Question: My sister in college threw me off the car when she and my brother left? What do I do? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 05:20 AM PST We were in a fight that morning but she slapped me and kept calling me a dumb *** when I ran down to the car she locked it
Question: How do I get my mom to stop babying me? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 03:15 AM PST I'm 19 years old and I went to a rave party the other night and my mom kept calling me 20 times to make sure I was "ok" and I told her to stop or I'm going to block her number so she can't get in contact with me. She said she just wants to make sure I'm ok. And my dad even told me that she wanted to follow me and stalk me at the rave with her friend because she thinks I'm going to be traumatized from the rave party. Also when I go out with my friends she told me to call her but I never do because there's no need to and if I don't she calls me 50 times asking me if I'm ok. I told her to stop but she keeps babying me. I'm sick of it How do I get her to stop
Question: Can someone please tell me what to do here? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 12:31 AM PST My girlfriend is pregnant. She wanted to wait until the first doctors appointment to tell everyone then she went and told her mom anyway. I kept my mouth shut and waited till after the appointment. After that I told my immediate family now she's crying and screaming at me because her dad might find out from someone else. She gave me a deadline and I waited. We can't wait to even tell my parents until she has told every single family member she has. It's my child too for crying out loud! Now everyone's mad because my mom found out she told her mom but gave me a deadline. And I stuck with it. What do I do here?
Question: My mom is always busy and I've got no one to mentor me, what should I do? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 11:51 PM PST I feel frustrated all the time, because I've got no one to guide me, help me, and teach me life things, lately specially because my mom is ALWAYS busy and I'm actually kinda worried about her, because after my father's death 5 years ago she became so gloomy and she always does therapy stuff to feel better and she's always busy with her job, but me and my brother and sisters are quite neglected and I'm trying to manage in studying, but they are doing really bad at school. And we don't have anyone to teach us the simple things in life... I really am feeling like my life is a MESS and I really need help... But who to ask help from?? And I don't think I can just tell my mom to start taking care us, she's so hard to talk to and communicate with.. I only need some mentor to help me, guide me in daily life because there are so many things I can't figure out doing by my own...
Question: I have a real problem here....? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 10:51 PM PST After COUNTLESS job interviews and rejections, I finally got hired for a job I interviewed today. I honestly thought I wasn't gonna get the job, but I did. So I'm happy and I'm very nervous at the same time. The job is a tax preparer. It's a seasonal job, which I don't care, as long as it's a paying job (plus it'll look good on my resume applying for other jobs). I really am not happy and nervous at the same time, because I kind of lied to get this position. I told the truth on some things, but I lied on others, like multitasking and knowing about tax and stuff. I think I can multitask, but I never had a scenario where I had to and I know very little about tax. The job is going to train me, but I'm afraid if I'll **** up on this job. I don't want to get fired. I FINALLY get a job and I don't want to blow it. What should I do?? I saw this job on my school job website. Their field of study (which means anyone who applies) is any major and no degree is required. So, before you go off telling me how much of a ******* idiot I am, look at this!!
Question: How To Fix My Mom and I’s Relationship? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 10:15 PM PST sometimes it feels like my mom regrets having me because i was the product of another marriage before she got back together with my siblings' dad who also raised me. she's made it known to me that i was an accident and all we do is argue. she's in a bad mood constantly, has a cigarette addiction and it seems like literally all of our interactions are negative. my two older siblings seem to have picked this up from her and always gang up on me and basically bully me. i try to make her happy, i try to do nice things but it's like the second she sees me she looks for something i've done wrong. she always does this thing where she comes up with some ridiculous rule just to assert her power over me. i could go on and on but basically, is there any way i could get through to her and have her treat me better and express love to me more often? i do appreciate that she feeds me and houses me and stuff but i definitely feel like a chore to her sometimes. i don't want to resent her for the rest of my life and lose contact, i want to have a good relationship in the future. what should i do??
Posted: 04 Dec 2017 10:06 PM PST So I'm 17. Gonna be 18 in 2 months. And I own lingerie. Mainly for the soul purpose that I think it just looks good and makes me feel confident. I go to school everyday and today, our housekeeper came to clean. Claiming she left a drawer open somebody (either my dad or step mom) went through my underwear and lingerie drawer. My dad then questioned me in the middle of the night .. (keeping a calm exterior.. but I could feel how sad it made him) why I had "the ones that attach to stockings" saying that the maid left the drawer open so he went through it.. I feel like my step mom got bored because she's home all day with a new born and went through my stuff and told my dad.. he didn't really get mad but I think this is just an overall awkward encounter which makes me want to crawl into a hole and die.. Ever since I was a child they never let me buy anything doing with lace or anything provactive which maybe made me strike an interest for them just to have them.. How could I make this feel less uncomfortable, should I move out when I turn 18? I'm not upset he went through my drawers but at the same time I just feel a little violated and uncomfortable. Has anybody gone through this or has been in my position? Also my dad is 37 and I'm 17 my step mom is 30. I don't know if age has a matter but just so you readers know..
Question: How to deal with my dad who is in denial? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 09:54 PM PST My dad is in denial about the state of his life. Currently he owes just over $20,000 in child support to my mom and he thinks that he is still paying. He lives at his parents house and takes their money to do stuff like it's his own. He does drive Uber sometimes and he considers that his job. He's also a war veteran, and I've told him he can take advantage of that but he won't listen. As a 17 year old, this is becoming very hard to see my father like this. Eventually something is going to happen to my grandparents, as one of them is working themselves to death and one of them is sitting themselves to death. I am worried that I'm going to see my father homeless. How do I cope with this fact? Can I somehow get him to get out of his bubble of a world?
Posted: 04 Dec 2017 09:10 PM PST So my 16 year old brother blocked me and all my family on Instagram and they haven't noticed but I have and I told him to unblock me several times but he hasn't so I just let it go.. but then my friend asked me about the weird things he has been posting and I asked her to show me and it's a bunch of pictures of blood all over the place and running down his lips and just weird, creepy stuff. I thought about telling my mom but she is so nosy and would freak out and take his phone away and ask him nonstop about it and stuff so I don't want to cause any extra problems that he may be having in his life!
| Question: Why does my mom hate me? | Question: Would my husbands brother in law also be my brother in law? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 07:38 PM PST |
Question: I'm annoyed living with my brother but I feel like I can't say anything? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 07:25 PM PST I live with my brother while I'm in school and ever since I moved in 3 years ago, he hasn't washed the dishes once while I'm there. He will only wash the dishes when I'm gonna for breaks, and that's because there's no one else to do it for him. Every time my parents come and visit us, I'm the one who has to sweep and mop and dust the furniture and vacuum and clean the kitchen. He doesn't help me with any of that either. One time I sort of snapped because my parents were coming to visit us and I had been cleaning the apartment all day and she wanted me to wash his sheets and clean his bathroom and I said no, if there's one thing he can do when he gets home from work it's take 10 minutes to clean his bathroom and wash his sheets. My mom said I was mean because I wouldn't do it. But I'm just so tired of having to do everything myself. My mom even hints at us living together again once I graduate and possibly move to a new town but even if I stayed in the same town I think I would just move out because I'm just so tired of it all. I just don't know what to do anymore because I don't like saying things that might make me seem like I'm being dramatic or bratty
Question: My parents are too strict? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 07:23 PM PST im 15, in highschool, and i work a part time job but my parents are still super strict. im barely ever allowed to do anything other than school and work, they hate my friends and expect too much from me. when my sister was 15/16 they let her move to a different contitent to live with her fiance who she now has a kid with (shes 21). my friends "ruined" my sisters life but theyre really the best people ever, they cannot control her addiction. they say im not moving out at 18 and i am going to college. i want to move out at 16 (i have mulitiple options on where to go) but i am already too over whelmed with school and work what do you think i should do
Question: Am I being unreasonable with my parents? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 07:15 PM PST my mom never lets me drive anywhere out town. I'm in my last year of college and she won't let me drive home ever. For the past 4 years they always pick me up when I come home after the semester is over. I live with my brother and he drives a 2005 car. I have a newer car so my mom never lets me bring my car home so my brother can take it when he drives home for Christmas. I'm finishing the semester and I thought my parents would let me bring my car home but they were like "no, you're brother has to keep it so he can pick up your sister from the airport" it's literally a 20 minute drive over there and I don't see what difference my car is going to make driving it 20 minutes as opposed to a 2005 car. my mom was like it's just for the week and then we can bring it back home. But they said the same thing to me last year too and then I was without a car the entire month I was home for winter break. It's just annoying because my parents don't get home until almost 6 from work, if I want to hang out with my friends I always have to ask for a ride. If I want to have a car I'm gonna have to wake up and take my mom to work. my mom stays at work for lunch so if that happens I'm gonna be stuck at home and my parents don't really buy things for the house to make for lunch since they go somewhere else for lunch break. I just don't get why I always have to give up my car for my brother to drive when he's been graduated from college for 6 years and has a job but can't buy himself a new car

Posted: 04 Dec 2017 06:59 PM PST One thing, she try's to ruin my social life. Well all my friends are supposingly a bad influence and they don't even do drugs or vape. Most of them got into maybe one fight, but that's it and don't do that good in school, but there not even considered bad in my town. And the kid Amy mom wants me to hangout with are nice and all, but SOMETIMES my mom makes me try to hangout with kid who are a "good influence" but I can ****** tell they don't like me. Also, she FORCES me to join these activities or sports (gave up that **** along time ago) I'm not even good at! And obviously I didn't do it because it's after school and my school is far. Which leads to another thing, she gets to work home every Thursday and right when I go home she turns into a ***** and make some stay home even tho she says I need to be quite because she's "working." And the thing is I'm always forced to go wake up at 6 AM to take a school bus when she could literally get her lazy *** in the car and drive me. And worst part is when I ***** about waking up early she says hey quite people are sleeping, well not me! And here's the main thing, when I argue about all this shift to her we end up fighting and she starts physically hurting me and when I fight back she acts like IM the bad person and says how dare you lay a hand on your mother like that even tho I never gave her a mark or made her bleed but she today she hit me with a little string/rope (?) of a bag and I had a mark. Should I leave her after HS?
Question: Parents angry at me—except this time, it was their fault, not mine? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 06:41 PM PST I say this with caution—it isn't as if this is a game of finger pointing and blaming. It wasn't anybody's fault, per se—let me start from the basics. I was running late. My mother cut apples for me, but accidentally placed the bag in front of my sister, who's four and overreacts as all four-year-olds do. (Whenever I get into fights with my parents, I'm usually the one in the wrong. I know I'm wrong, I just don't ever admit it.) I, in a rush, reached over her and grabbed the apples away. Her natural instinct, of course, is to latch onto them and shriek, "No, mine!" Now we're playing tug-of-war with the apples. I win, but then suddenly, everybody's yelling. "Don't take them away from her like that!" Everybody's pissed, and I am now scared. My parents tend to overreact, my dad's thrown **** at the television and such, but never at me, but suddenly I'm scared that he or my mom will, so I panicked and chuck the apples at my sister, going, "You can had them!" hoping the yelling will stop. I, of course, hit her cereal bowl and spill milk everywhere. In the end, I do leave, but they decided to talk to me once I got back from school. They explained that I was in the wrong, what I did wrongful. But for some reason, I feel as if this is actually unfair. I, for the first time, didn't really do anything wrong in an argument. They don't seem to realize that I only panicked+started yelling when they did. I'm just really . . . upset, I suppose. What do?
Question: My big brother is sometimes protective? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 06:19 PM PST My brother is one year older than me and we are in high school. He is a junior and am a sophomore. He's very popular and I am pretty popular. People like me and I have a lot of friends but I'm not like super popular. We never really say hi in the halls. He mostly pretends he doesn't see me. He also dates girls in my grade that are in my classes which gets kind of weird... but that's another story. Recently whenever the topic of boys comes up he gets really defensive and says I'm not allowed to do anything with boys because I'm too young. Even though we are basically the same age... he even said that he would beat a a guy up if a boy asked me out or to dance at our winter ball. Why does he act protective and like he doesn't know me at the same time?
Question: Can i get money because my mom is old? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:52 PM PST Here is the deal, i think my mom might be the last person alive who was born in the 1910s. She was born in 1918, she will be 100 on January 2nd. Since she is going to be so old, can i get money for that? since she is going to be considered a person who reached 100. I really want money. And maybe she can get famous because she is old. Is there a number i can call? i do have proof of her age.
Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:39 PM PST I use headphones and keep the volume super low. I'm fairly certain she's f*cking with me and can't hear anything, but it's making me paranoid. What can I do for reassurance and to deal with her?
Question: I can't stand my mom.? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:35 PM PST Sometimes, I love my mom. Other times, I think she's a crazy *****. I'm 14, I do good in school, and I'm a great big sister to my little sister. My mom is really nice half the Time, and pleasant, etc. But other times she's so insufferable. I've got mild aspergers and ocd, and she always gets really frustrated when they shine through. I'm really bad at managing my vocal inflection when I'm frustrated, a side effect of aspergers, and so what I think is a calm tone is actually a strained shout or something like that. I don't know, I can't tell, but she says it is and she yells at me for that constantly even though I try to talk normally. But tonight she got mad at me for forgetting to tell her about an audible subscription I had used the free trial of, and it had apparently kept charging her account because I forgot to remind her to cancel it. I, meaning it in a joking way, said "ok so are we going to fight about it now?" And I guess it sounded mean instead of funny and she blew up on me and told me I was a "bad human being" ?? Because I couldn't just apologize for it. I told her to take the money out of my allowance because I'm responsible and I'll pay for it because that's what I deserve, and she just said "oh yeah you're responsible but you're STILL a shittt human." And it made me really unhappy. So, basically, is it normal for a teenager to dislike their mom? How can I be better? How can I make my tone less offputting?
Question: Is it uncomfortable to stay at a relative's home when traveling? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:09 PM PST My parents and I are traveling out of state and usually stay at hotels. But since I haven't seen my aunt for a while, we're staying at her house instead. I've met her before, and she's not strict. She's going to show her around the city, like take us to some restaurants or sightseeing. But do you think it'll be awkward? I'm fourteen.
Question: My dad chose his wife over me? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:07 PM PST Ok so I'm nearly 17 and I had to move in with my sickly grandmother and my grandpa and don't get me wrong I love them a lot but I'm so bitter. I had moved in with my dad 4 years ago because my mother went off the grid and was unable to be a parent. Things were always awful with my dads wife I've never really liked her and my dad knows that. Things got really bad after I got grounded for something I thought was stupid by my dads wife so I refused to listen to her which thinking about it now was probably childish but I was so sick of her controlling me because she's not my parent. My dad let her control me all the time and she's such a horrid person, she's moody and has a terrible temper and tried to break my stuff when she got mad at me and my dad always sided with her. One day I just snapped and decided I'd had enough because she tried to fight me one day before I was about to go to school and threw all my stuff out of the car and told me I had to walk to school and I wasn't allowed back home anymore and my dad still took her side because I was "rude" when I was only standing up for myself because I refused to be pushed around by her anymore. at this point I don't have a phone or anything anymore because they took my stuff and sat it on the counter. I come home from school to grab a few things and all of my stuff is gone-- they took it. I start freaking out because I really don't believe I did anything wrong. I don't know what to do so I moved but now I'm depressed
Question: Is this sexual abuse? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:07 PM PST I was 8 and my brother was 13, i slept in his room sometimes when i couldn't sleep. One night when i was in there he put his hand in my pants and started messing with me, i didn't like what he was doing but i didn't stop him.. i thought this was a Normal brother sister thing.. i didn't know any better. Then he took my hand it put it down his pants and i just moved my hand around.. didn't know why he wanted me to but i did it because he wanted me to. That went on for quite a while and he never asked if i wanted to but when he asked if i liked it i lies and said yes because i thought i was supposed to like it.. was this sexual abuse or just something that happened?
Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:01 PM PST I was 9 and i used to sleep in my 13 year old brothers room, I'd fallen asleep and i thought he had to until i felt him pulling my pants down, which woke me up. I didn't know what was going on or what he was doing so i just stayed still with my eyes open hoping he wouldn't do anything. Then he started doing anal.. and i still just sat there and did nothing. That went on for about five minutes, maybe it was less I'm not sure but it was the slowest thing I'd ever gone through. When he stopped i felt a tear roll down my face and i whispered "I've been awake this whole time" and he didn't say a word.. was that rape?
Question: What should I do in this situation? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 05:00 PM PST I'm 19 and pregnant (due in March) please don't judge. Me and the baby's father had a really nasty breakup the beginning of my pregnancy and all my family got involved so they absolutely hate him, they never liked him but now they have a reason to. Well we made up for the sake of the baby but my mom isn't too happy about it she's constantly starting fights with me and telling me he can't be in the delivery room and she's constantly telling me to give the baby my last name instead of his but honestly I don't want him to miss the birth of his daughter we're both happy to be parents even though we are young I don't even think him apologizing to my family would fix the situation but honestly I don't want to be a single mother he's helped me out with my pregnancy more than any of my other family members we are not together but I do love him and will always be attached to him because of the baby even though we've have a hard past

Question: Should I legally change my last name? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 02:39 PM PST I am considering changing my last name. My mother had two children, when the first was born, she was not married to my father. When I was born, they were married, I was the "salvage this relationship" attempt. But because of my father's desire for other women, drugs, and partying, my mother decided to end it and move us away. He pleaded that my last name remain his. As a result, my sibling and my mother's last names have always been different than mine. Now, I know my father, and he has visited us and us him throughout my childhood. I respect my father, despite his mistakes. And I can recognize a great deal of him in myself. I am the singular heir to his last name. And yet, I don't know if I want to keep it. What does it mean to have his name? An identity comes with a name. But this man, his ways and his identity, are not something that I want. But still, there is merit in simply bearing the name and creating good from it (as opposed to starting a new). So, now, as a young adult (24), I am considering changing my name. Is it worth it? Is it wrong? Thoughts?
