I've no friends locally and options for things like clubs, volunteering, etc. are limited so it feels like there's little opportunity to meet men - it's rare I see men I find particularly attractive anyway so it's not even like I can approach men I like. A little while back a guy ran up to give me his number (as he'd seen me passing his store), which was great but when texting he just suggested I come into his store rather than asking me on a date so it was a little awkward - besides I didn't find him attractive. I was so blindsided and I feel so hurt right now. I was cheated on a month before by a different guy and evidentially broke up and immediately after I ended up meeting this new guy. We both liked each other and exchanged numbers. He took me on a date, and for the last month of summer, we hung out every weekend since we couldn't hang out during the week due to work. We both went off to our different colleges (which are close, but his is very strict and has to stay at his school on weeknights) I went back home for the weekend and he asked me to be his girlfriend, which I accepted. He was very into me, would tell me, my friends, and also his friends how much he liked me, asked me to meet my family, I met his, he invited me to an event in june and booked the hotel, had me meet his friends from school, and we would spend every most of the weekend we dated at my apartment at school. Very suddenly in the middle of this week, he came to my house and told me he wanted to break up. He said he was going to be very busy the next few months and didn't think it was fair to me since we wouldn't have time to hangout. I was very hurt because I really liked him, and he seemed to really like me but no longer wanted to commit to having me around. He is a very nice guy and I dont know if he lost interest or what, I just dont get why he left so suddenly, I need some help understanding. |

You're doing exactly what your ex did to you. Dropping me out of nowhere. Just f*** this." He rushed out and I was pretty shocked. | Question: How to approach this girl? Posted: 01 Oct 2017 07:04 PM PDT So there is a girl who is my friend's friend who i talked to for a moment, who i don't share any classes with (high school) so i hardly know her. How to approach her? Do i introduce myself to her and ask for her number? Do i ask her out? |
| Posted: 01 Oct 2017 07:02 PM PDT Boyfriend (30) chased after a woman (same age) for a LONG time, gave her his number, and insisted she call-- several times. She finally did (they spoke almost everyday until early morning hours), and after not mentioning (ever) he had a gf, she confessed to liking him and he told her he felt the same way and knew she felt something for him too. He then confessed he had a gf after WEEKS of hiding this and only told her when he felt pressured. He said, "I like her a lot but the way I see it I am not married, and even tho I have a gf I don't want to marry her so I talk to pretty girls cuz you never know. I'm not a cheater." Apparently, only sex is cheating to him...not emotional cheating. She was shocked that he lied to her for a long time, told him he knew all along exactly what he was doing while she didn't and told him not to contact her anymore. Why not just leave me if he doesn't see a future with me, but sees a possible future wife with other girls he talks to? It's like I'm an insurance policy while he shops around for a future wife...or does he stay with me because he truly likes me more than everyone else? I always see people telling the "other woman" that they will never leave their partners because they care more about the partner...and they're nothing but play things and love their girlfriends/wives. |
| Question: Should i respond to my ex? Posted: 01 Oct 2017 06:58 PM PDT Ok, so not really contacted lol but she super liked me on tinder. This is the ex that broke up with me over a year ago and broke my heart. then out of nowhere she superlikes me on tinder and knowing the kind of person she is, i knew this was a joke to her. I even decided to creep on her twitter after this and she said something like... "high suggest getting a twitter just to swipe right on everyone and read bios" so i didnt think anything of it; trying not to get my hopes up. But then she started messaging me with all these smily faces and her last message she sent literally said "i forgot how much fun you are to talk with. you make such great conversation *heart emojis*" wtf does this mean?? am i reading way to much into this?? all my friends say i should unmatch and forget about her but a part of me wants to see where this could possibly go. I was thinking of just responding something like "i forgot how much you like to talk to people" bc she's extremely extroverted. what do you think? thanks!! |

She is 22, a "good girl" who goes to church a lot, loves kids, wants to be a teacher, and is just the sweetest thing ever. She always dresses classy and doesn't drink or party at all. Well, she knows I like to smoke cigars occasionally and drink a little bit. She told me the other day that even though she doesn't like smoking and wouldn't want to do it herself, she finds it very attractive when I smoke a cigar. When I'm dressed up and how I look manly doing it. Why would she tell me this? |
| Question: What does it mean when a guy says he is busy everyday? Posted: 01 Oct 2017 06:53 PM PDT I asked this guy that I am "dating" if he was busy today and he said "im busy every day" so i responded "i mean, are you too busy to hangout with me today?". I got no response from him. So was he trying to say that he didn't want to hangout? |
