Question: Do colleges waive application fees in hopes of you attending the school? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 03:23 PM PDT I have a cousin (I'm going to call her Tamara) that's extremely intelligent and has always been interested in school and excelled. I overheard my mom and Tamara's mother talking and she said that Tamara had received numerous letters from colleges. The colleges had heard about her and sent out applications so she can apply to their school. Those colleges also waived their application fees for her. I know she probably didn't apply for an application fee waiver and even if she did, I don't think she would've qualified as her parents have extremely high paying jobs. I have no doubt that colleges have heard about Tamara but I'm just wondering if colleges waived their fees in hopes of you attending that school. I would ask them but I don't really feel comfortable doing that. Tamara and I rarely talk to each other because we don't really have much in common. We have a 'I tolerate you and you tolerate me' relationship'. Also, she's extremely busy. |
Question: What if you just saw...? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 02:05 PM PDT what if you just saw a fully white person with european origins coming from a North African country would you be shocked or what? especially people who doesn't know any **** in geography lol, just asking. I saw in the media that if a person is a muslim then he's considered a "middle-eastern", "brown" and the so called "ARAB"! wth? i'm a white berber by the way not an arab!! x_x Oh god i hate stereotypes. i mean that people are stereotyping too much and saying that every muslim is brown and middle-eastern but in reality there are white born muslims(like Berbers) too especially in North Africa. [I'm a berber muslim and remember that i'm not a racist c*nt i'm just telling FACTS!] |
Question: My husband is trying to get his pregnant with his baby and wants a divorce, what do I do? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 01:30 PM PDT We have two kids together under 5. My kids have met this girl and my oldest son says "daddy's friend is really nice." We have been married for about 6 years. He is 38 and I'm 34. My oldest son said daddy kept asking the girl if she wants to have a baby. I think I saw text messages from him to her. He calls this woman "my baby." The woman told my husband that she isn't ready to have any children. I did a social media search and she's childless and like 6 years younger than me. I would go far to say I'm better looking than her. He has asked the girl in a text message how many kids does she want to have and what kind of names she likes. The woman text back that she isn't ready to have kids and asked him why does he have baby fever? We already have children. I figure she's his mistress. My husband asked to separate plus he moved out. I saw my husband's browser history and he was searching up baby names. He even searched up what it's like to have a daughter. I thought we'd be together for ever. I really want to beat this woman up. She knows he has a wife and kids. Why would he want his mistress to have his first daughter? He told me he didn't want anymore kids!! |

Question: Am I over reacting??? BF has out of no where become a fisherman? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 09:59 AM PDT Recently my bf started fishing for the first time last month. Ever since he's been going fishing 2 to 3 times a week. He rushes out of work and everything else to go fishing. He will go around 2 pm and will not come back till late around 11pm 11:30pm. Because he claims fishing is best at night time. We have a 4year old son. He rarely spends time with him. I do the most. In addition he does not spend time with me. I feel like he's become a little excessive with this fishing thing. Maybe if he were to find time to spend with me or his son then it wouldn't bother me. but literally I feel abandonment because he spends more time fishing with his friends then with us and doesn't bother to call us just to "check in" he says he would but doesn't. I told him about it this morning and he told me that I need to cut my sh!t if not he's going to start resenting me :-/ but in all honestly I feel like I recent him since he does not find time to spend with us. I UNDERSTAND that everyone needs "me" time but 2 to 3 times a week and for 6+ hours??? I think that's toooo much. Especially since he doesn't make time for other things… and I over reacting???? |
Question: Is this the right way? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 08:47 AM PDT I'm 20 weeks pregnant and the foster asked me to not trap him and his parents with a baby they don't want ( I've never spoken to them) so I will be terminating his rights as well as his parents rights as grandparents. I'm due in March. Am I going about this in the right way? |

Question: Should I stop my birth control pills? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 08:40 AM PDT I went on birth control about three years ago because 1. I was becoming sexually active 2. I had terrible acne 3. I was having extremely irregular periods (secondary amenorrhea). Now, I am not sexually active, and I want to address the root cause of the other two issues and not just synthetically suppress them. But before I do... or don't, I just want others' more experienced opinions - thanks! My main concern is acne, it used to be terrible but with birth control it has been flawless, I'm nervous for it to return. |

Question: My roommate doesn t go to the bathroom?? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 07:57 AM PDT Ok so like my roommate is just this adorable petite Japanese girl and like...she doesn t pee or poop, ever. Not once have I ever heard the toilet flush, and I know because I have spent entire days with her at home. She also doesn t use toilet paper bc there s literally none missing except what I use, and I don t use very much. i know I ve seen her eat food and drink so like idk why she doesn t use the bathroom. She does go in there but only to take showers and brush her teeth and stuff. There s NEVER any evidence that she used the toilet. Also she doesn t have any pads or tampons so I guess she just doesn t get periods?? |

Question: Why did he dump me when we were not together? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 04:24 AM PDT My husband is very busy with work and often cant do chores around the house. A neighbor (disabled vet) who is a little younger than us advertised on the neighborhood webpage that he did odd jobs for extra money. We started using him to help & made friends with him (he lives with another neighbor). While his personal beliefs differ from ours, we wanted to be nice and found him to be funny. He would go shopping with me or come hang out and my kids even liked him. Suddenly, he became obsessed with me being "negative". He even confided in my husband that "he doesn't understand how he tolerates my crap because I am so negative". My husband was puzzled. The guy told me he thought I was hot, but was not interested in me that way & I told him I was not interested in him that way either. My husband told me that this friend/neighbor really went overboard with the "negativity" that he obsesses over that he claims I have and said he was "running me into the ground". I texted this friend and asked about it, and the guy accused me of "liking him much more than he likes me" (claimed that this was from my POV not his, when I never said I was attracted to him) and again mentioned how negative I am and then said "I am breaking up with you, I am not doing this, not going there". His obsession with negativity he perceives that I have is puzzling. What happened here? |
Question: Why does my boyfriend treat me differently? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 03:52 AM PDT My boyfriend's always been really sweet and cute around me and has a sort of playful personality around other people. I like him how he is but is this weird? Do you think he's not being himself around me? We just started dating and he's my first boyfriend so I was just wondering. Thank you |
Question: Should I give up my dreams and give in to pressure just so everyone can shut up? Posted: 03 Oct 2017 12:53 AM PDT I just turned 21 and I can't be any more depressed than I am right now... I have dreams like big dreams to make it big or if I can't then at least do something local with theater, etc. however, everyone is on this baby fever kick and I'm being pressured to get pregnant because of it... I feel like I'm just now discovering myself. I was an overweight awkward teenager. I now have lost over 50 pounds and I'm 110 at 5'8 and I am ready to persue my dreams. I still feel like a kid myself... I don't want to take care of a baby I want to focus on my goals. I'm nearly in tears right now because I feel like... I feel like my time to be young and carefree has past and now I'm just forced into being some mother hen it's not what I want :,( I regret being the last fat awkward teenager I was... I wish I was what I am now back then.... now, it's too late for me to go after my dreams because people want me to drop it all to have a baby I hate this baby fever crap :,( |
Question: Are teachers that are married not allowed to talk or show any type of romance? Posted: 02 Oct 2017 05:19 PM PDT So my friend's parents are both teachers at my school, I've spent the night at her house loads of times, so it's not like her home life is some big secret. Recently whenever I see her parents talking in the hallway, I just joke around going, "I wander if they're allowed to kiss." She laughs too, but then becomes quiet, one time in her dad's class, he said something about her mom and I was like, "...if only they could act like they loved each other at school." She laughed at this again, but then said to knock it off in a jokey kind of way, I apologized immediately afterward. After school, I was hanging with her and her sister in her mom's room, and I asked them joking around, "So, do your parents actually ever kiss at home, or do they act like they barely know each other?" This time they just looked at each other and we just kept talking like I never said that. I'm trying to ask her what her deal is, but I don't want to hurt her feelings more... (BTW I'm 12) I just need to know if that's part of their job that they can't talk or show romance, and the kids know that too, please answer nicely. |
Question: Why am I just starting to grieve my moms death? Posted: 02 Oct 2017 05:02 PM PDT She passed away when I was 12. She was in the hospital for two weeks (unconscious) but I still had time to prepare and say goodbye. When she passed, I cried some, but not a lot. My father and sister went into serious depression. My sister tried taking her life, and my dad is still taking depression medication. I got over her death pretty quickly (I decided to be strong, especially when my sister and Dad were not) I have never been good at showing my emotions, and a lot of people asked if I was even grieving. It is now almost 6 years later, I am a freshman in college, and I'm starting to think of her a lot. I've cried quite a bit recently about it, and it's been a long time since I've cried about her. I just want her here more than anything. Of course that's all I've wanted the last 6 years, but it's very prevalent now, and I've been thinking about her so much. Why am I just starting to actually grieve now? |

Question: How to get your neighbors to leave you alone? Posted: 02 Oct 2017 02:20 PM PDT I just moved into my new house 2 days ago and my new next door neighbor has already been over 5 times. The first time she came over she walked directly into my house asking for someone who wasn't (and never has been) there. We talked for a few and introduced ourselves; but being that we had been into the new home about 15 minutes it was pretty obvious we were busy. She came over again about 10 minutes later to ask more questions and we talked again for an other 30 minutes; again still really busy moving. The next day I am making several trips to the store and to get more stuff from my old house etc. and she "just so happens" to be outside every single time. (3 times within 5 hours to be exact) And always wants to talk about something. Again, clearly moving and BUSY. She was going on and on about how "the city" would like me to make sure my trash cans are put away behind my gate after trash day and my husband finally had to tell her he needed me to help him unload the moving van that was very obviously in my driveway being unloaded. How do I stop this immediately? I just moved from an apartment and we were really looking forward to having our own privacy. We are in our 20s and she is about 60-70. I am not trying to be rude, I have no problem being friendly and talking occasionally but I feel like I am being watched and two days in I'm already hesitating to go outside out of fear/annoyance of her. |
