Question: What was the best wedding favor that you have gotten? Posted: 03 Jun 2017 03:45 PM PDT I am having a hard time picking a wedding favor because I want it to be useful so my question to everyone is what has been the best/useful wedding favor you have received. |
Posted: 03 Jun 2017 12:28 PM PDT My daughter is 3 years old . I'm not married to her father but we are together and I was never invited by his sister in law. Ok fine, but she didn't even introduce herself to even ask if my daughter could be the flower girl. They just automatically bought her a nice dress and never told me. Her father told me in the last minute. Am I over reacting ? |

Question: Nervous about a wedding? Posted: 03 Jun 2017 08:08 AM PDT My brother is getting married tonight and I'm a junior groomsmen, I'm SUPER nervous... I barely ate, I barely slept, I'm just so nervous I have to walk out in front of EVERYONE!!! I only did good at the rehearsal since there was only Best Man, Groomsmen, Maid of Honor, Parents, etc. I know those people fairly well so I wasn't nervous, but now 150 people will be at the wedding and I'm terrified! Any advice? |
Question: People that get engaged at 20 are loved more by God, true or false? Posted: 03 Jun 2017 05:30 AM PDT Christians please pray that my current boyfriend is the right one. I am 22 and I would rather go missing than to not be engaged in May of 2022. Being kidnapped sounds better than being single at 27. |
Question: How do I talk to my fiancé about paying for more things? Posted: 03 Jun 2017 03:35 AM PDT My fiancé and I make the same amount of money. We split bills right down the middle, &by the time everything is done and paid for, I'm lucky to have $20 left a month for food. He has almost $1000 because his debts aren't as high as mine. I wanted to have a long engagement for financial reasons. Because we're older, he insisted on a short engagement bc he wants to have kids, which I get. However, he is TERRIBLE with money, and wants me to do all of the wedding planning. I've tried asking him to give me a couple hundred monthly for our "wedding fund" and he says it's in his savings, but it's not. He spends it on guns/bikes/etc. I am financially drowning even without the burden of the wedding My parents sold some things to pay for the venue and food, & I feel bad but I want him and his family to pick up the rest of the tab. The wedding is in his hometown, and the majority of guests are for him. I don't care if we have a honeymoon or any extravagant things--he does. I want to pay off my debt, live within my means, and start a family. I just feel like it isn't fair to split day to day things 50/50 and still try to carry on the tradition of the bride paying. It's so bad that I've destroyed my credit trying to pay my half. Would it be so rude to ask him to start paying for all the groceries/ask his wealthy family to pay for half of the wedding?I love him but he has been spoiled his whole life and doesn't know what a financial burden even is. I'm scared it is going to ruin us. Dear LORD I don't know why I posted this here. Nowhere in my question did I ask anyone's input on whether or not I SHOULD marry him. He's loyal, kind, caring, and just my freakin' soul mate. I'm marrying it regardless of what you all think. Just because someone isn't as financially intelligent as me doesn't mean they're a bad person. I LOVE this man with my whole entire heart. I also never said that I EXPECT my parents or his to pay for anything. Just that if they want more, they should contribute more. I literally only wanted advice on how to talk about all of this with him because I'm awkward at approaching financial conversations and have displayed myself as completely independent and confident until now. I don't think he even realizes that I'm struggling, because I somehow manage to pay my bills and keep a smile onThank you for all of your asshole answers though! |
