Hey guys, I am the maid of honor in my friends wedding and her bridal shower is a couple months away. The problem is is that I had already RSVP d to a wedding a couple months ago for the same day. I am already missing the wedding ceremony so I can go to the shower. I will be at the shower for 4 hours and was going to leave early so I can still make the wedding reception. Am I a bad Maid of Honor for leaving the shower early, even though I am still going and I didn t help at all with the planning of the shower? Thanks.

I have two wonderful children from a previous marriage. I will be remarrying this month . My children s father are still in the picture when it is convenient but my fiance has step up to the role. He has decided he wanted to dance with my six year old daughter at the wedding too but we need help finding a good song...any suggestions?

My best man from my wedding of several years ago is getting married. We were very close friends when we lived in the same city. We no longer live in the same city. My other half and I are flying out for his wedding in the next few weeks. I have not been asked to be in the wedding party, haven't been informed about any rehearsal dinners, bachelor party...nothing. While I didn't expect him to ask me to be his best man I did sort of think I'd be in the wedding party. I didn't question him about it because I felt awkward. Part of me is like well...we don't see each other often...but I still consider him one of my best friends. And I feel bad about it. Would you be upset about it? Should I just chalk it up to not living in the same city any more? We're spending a lot of money to attend and I guess I just feel hurt.

I am also much larger than him, I am 6'2 weighing 220 pounds, and he is 5'6 weighing 140 pounds. I want to do a belly dance sequence, but incorporate him even though he has no dance experience. One way l could incorporate him, is have him show off his strength. He can carry me even though hes smaller than me.

My boyfriend bought a ring for $200 that doesn't really look like me and is pretty chunky, but I love him and I'm so excited. Can I choose the wedding ring closer to time, and wear it alone for the rest of my life?
