I usually actually find it funny and it doesn t hinder the punchline at all.. But I don t know if it s better to just wait to hold off snickering until the punchline is delivered, because that almost feels disingenuous. I know there are people in group settings who don t listen to the joke or find it funny, but just laugh when others laugh. I m kind of stuck between what s genuine and what s courtesy. |

My best mate told me one day I'm the happiest person he knows, but I almost took my own life. Thankfully I didn't, I got help, I cut back on drinking, got more fit, more confident etc. But I'm still depressed, I get really sad for no reason sometimes still and I just drag myself around putting in the happy face, the difference is I recognise it for what it is and deal with it as best I can. I want to tell my friends and family but how do I bring it up, u just want to get it off my chest and normalise it, or maybe I shouldn't say anything, what do you think |

I have a small amount of choices for what to put on it, Have to be able to find it on your average college campus drug store/convince store or already have it in your average college dorm room, I burned it the day after my car was totaled from behind, I turned down the rental car because I thought I could do without it and I would have to contact the at faults insurance myself for it .so I've tried to ignore it because everything more expensive on campus butttt its getting annoying. |

No other people in grad school wanted to be friends with me since I do drugs, and all my druggie friends think I'm either uptight, just want free handouts or just want to use my house since they all still live with their parents. Is anyone else into partying and getting messed up all the time, but still has their stuff together? | Posted: 15 Jun 2017 09:02 AM PDT I counted my $ lastnight after paying a bill. I had $713 left in my pirse. I left it on the bed. Im ocd so i counted it 4 times to make sure. When i went in for bed by purse was on floor & money looked different . I recounted & $100 os missing. My friend just fot. Ack from buying $200 boots so i looked in his wallet. 170 i. 20s. & on The other side wa s the $100 bill. I added up everything he spent in a week which would have left him with roughly 120 in Cash.not 170 plus 100. So i took it out, wrote it in my diary, & am waiti g to see if he notices the bill he stole was taken back. Im curious to k ow of what reaction a guilty person usually has. Do they pretend they dont know...or do they say did tou steal f from my wallet? Etc. He was the only person in my house. & i know i did t miscount 4 different times & then write the wrong amount in my journal?! He definately stole it from me. So anyone know what i should excpect. In high school I once stole a newer bottle of mascara by asking my friend if i could use hers, i gave her back my old bottle. A lil later she said can i borrow your mascara, i cant find mine. When she gave it back to me it t was tricked, it my old one, she was smart & didnt confront me. But she got me good. Posted: 15 Jun 2017 08:15 AM PDT So I became really close with this one friend of mine I think of her as a sister, we've known eachother for 5 years.. the first two years were awesome and then she randomly disappeared I couldnt find her on any social media (she changed her name) I also went to her house and she wasn't there (house was totally remodeled, she moved) after two years passed she messaged me on Facebook and told me she fell into depression and isolated herself and she wanted to re kindle what we had .. we started hanging out for two months now and we started arguing and we never argued and it would be about her random breakdowns of her crying in my room and I'd ask what's wrong and she couldn't explain I got mad at her for not opening up to me because I'm so close to her and I open up to her ... she then stopped talking to me but she was still active on social media I kept hoping that she wouldn't disappear again .. then one of our guy friends told her that he liked her and she didn't feel the same way and he was hurt by that and she felt bad and said all she does is mess up people's lives she doesn't know why she came back she wasn't ready to be around people again .. I feel like I lost my close friend once again . I wish I knew why she feels the need for isolation.. and why so long .. |

I got picked last for a game like always and I was like you owe my five and then I was like no it's okay 👌🏽. This was a friday on Monday she was like you owe me five. I was like um no I got picked last and I said it's fine. She said yeah that's why you owe my the money. We kept arguing then i was done with it. It's five dollars so I was like fine I'll give it to you on the first day of school. It's just getting me even more angry now that she lost and is convinced that she won even after I said she doesn't have to give it to me. What should I do? I swear I am DONE with these kids. |

I was trying my best to keep up with the glitches on my kik messenger. But they decided to end the chats. I felt bad afterwards and want to make it up to them. We don't know how to break the ice with him because we are friends with his sister, who is younger than him. We are around the same age as him but it s just awkward because we go to the same school. We see him from time-to-time with friends and there's this tension, it just feels kind of awkward because he doesn't say anything, as if he has no idea who we are but he does... | Question: How to stop feeling pity for people who don't want to help themselves? Posted: 14 Jun 2017 10:48 PM PDT I will admit that I have had my fair share of stupid choices in life which have cost me lots of time and money and headaches. Long story short I have cut off a lot of people in my life that are toxic for me and I still feel sorry for them for some reason. For example I had this one friend who moved to a different state and our friendship was founded on cocaine and alcohol usage which isn't a good thing it's just that this guy just pretends to be this dangerous man aka mob boss when he doesn't even have a job or anything and says the stupidest things. I'm trying to change my life and it just seems like I'm the only one who is actually making an effort to do so that's why I don't want these people in my life anymore. Then there's this girl who I also made "friends" with through drug usage and I feel pity for her and I've actually cut her off multiple times and just recently contacted her again and she's 18 but always asks me to buy her alcohol and I refuse. I know I should just stop and I know what I need to do but why do I feel pity for these people. I care about them and want to see them do good but they don't want to help themselves. |

For the most part I'm all over the place with my sleep cycle so when I'm awake keeping up on work is first priority. Earlier today we had company over and they were complaining about how he looked like a slob. At that moment i realized i was in just my underwear. Posted: 14 Jun 2017 09:58 PM PDT One time I was hanging out with one of my close friends and on our way to the movies he wanted me to go with him to the DMV office, I've told him I didn't want to go and he begged and insisted on me going there with him and I ended up giving in, I've personally felt disrespected by him forcing me to go to the DMV office with him, when I have to go there I want to be well prepared for it and he never even told me he needed to go there in advance, I've felt it was something he should have done on his own. |

Posted: 14 Jun 2017 08:19 PM PDT There's a guy that used to be in my group of friend that now wants to integrate the gang and hang with us constantly. He is the type to always want to be right and to be really dramatic. His last friendship ended because the girl didn't feel like going to the after prom event, to which they were "supposed" to go together. Because of that he skipped 2 days of school and told bad things to the girl, then complaining that he doesn't know why she was pissed at him. The kind of drama he causes. That kind of problem (where he'd cause problems out of nothing) occurred many times when he was in my group of friends. After his last friendship was over, he suddenly self-invited himself to eat with us at lunch, asked to join our prom table and hang with us during the after-prom party. I honest got tired of his presence. He comes back to the people he dislikes just because he has "no one" else to go to. And he caused problems that my friends and I still can't forgive. What would you do if a guy you dislike tried to integrate your circle of friend? |

I wanted to call and check on her and send my love and prayers. I can't buy anything and I'm too far to visit, would it be weird if I could tomorrow morning (super early 5:30am, that the only time before I leave to my boot camp) and just give her sweet words of encouragement? Even if she doesn't answer I would leave a voicemail.. should I do it? She's my Bestfriend and I just want to show her I care. I decided to call tomorrow instead of the actual day. What do you think? |
