Question: How to deal with an unmotivated husband who refuses to find a job? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 08:29 PM PDT My brother-in-law got laid off sometimes in 2008 and he has been jobless ever since. He doesn't want to accept a minimum paying job, thus he has no skills for higher paying job. My sis has worked her butt off to feed 4 children and a husband. She is the only one that works in the house 6 days a week from 9am to 7pm. She hates that he is jobless and unable to find any job, but she doesn't want to divorce him because in our culture it's bad for a woman to go through a divorce. Also, she says if she divorces him then she has to pay him some allowance to keep up with his living standard. He goes fishing with his friends often, their children are all growing up, the youngest one is 12 year old. It's my business because that is what my sister is wondering and trying to find answers. Got it? |
Question: I am confused. 10 points for honest advice? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 08:10 PM PDT Jim is a divorced man with 2 kids. At the beginning, I told him I did not want to involve with men with kids but he still chased me for months later. He said he would want to marry but I responded "I am sorry because you have children" then cut off all contact with him. Later I saw he posted many photos of him and his kids on his Facebook, a thing he never did before. What would you think about him? |
Posted: 11 Jun 2017 07:53 PM PDT I don't think anyone wants to marry me, just wondering if anyone feels the same way and then ended up married |
Question: Never want to get married/have kids? Is it normal or is it selfish? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 07:47 PM PDT I'm a girl and I recently turned 20 and ever since the age of 15 or so, I have never wanted to get married. Although I've dated before, it seems like even being in a relationship is just a huge bother I'm not even interested anymore. Growing up, my parents had an extremely warlike relationship (they married to avoid societal judgment rather than out of love) and maybe I have "daddy issues" because my dad was never there for me and though I'm "friends" with my mom, we argued a LOT. Anyways, since I'm Asian, my family has really traditional views on a lot of matters (anyone who is of an Asian background will understand me) and it is "expected" to have to get married and start a family. Yet, considering the childhood that I've had, I don't want to get married or have kids. When my mom found out, she got really angry at me and said that it was selfish and unacceptable and that "you have to get married and have a family" but didn't really give any logical reasons as to why I should. Every day, she is pressing me to find a "good man" since I don't have a boyfriend but all my friends do and it is really annoying me. Even my Asian friends find me weird for not wanting to get married/have kids like a "normal" person and very few people seem to understand me. So is it "selfish" for me to have the mentality that I do not ever want to get married or have kids and why? |
Posted: 11 Jun 2017 07:39 PM PDT I have been in a relationship with my spouse for 5 years married for 3. I have know her for 12 years. I know that every marriage has their ups and downs. I suffer from anxiety and depression and my wife has an anger issue. I have been thinking recently about how she treats me. One let me say that 5 years ago I cheated on my wife right after we got together. We have been to therapy over that and she says that she is over it. She struggles with these issues. She works 30 minutes away from our house when she goes to work she does not leave me any money whatsoever. I am a stay at home mom. I tell her what if something happens and I need money has response is that won't happen and she gets angry. When she asks me to do something around the house and I forget to do it she gets angry and starts to yell at me telling me I'm worthless or I'm a terrible mom/Stay at home mom. When she's at work she calls me constantly to see what I'm doing or where I have been. She has complete control over the money. If she is upset with me and I ask her why she's upset or stand up for myself her anger gets worse. There are times that she will be screaming because something didn't go her way and I keep my mouth shut because I know that I will make it worse. There is no intimacy between us because there's always tension. In the middle of fights she raises her fists to me but doesn't hit me or she will throw something at me but it doesn't hurt. I know she is stressed with work but I don't know what to do |
Question: How to find American wife for my cousin? Question: What is it like to watch your kids grow into adults? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 06:54 PM PDT I have two sons, a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I'm 37, so I'm going to be in my 50's when they become teenagers and I can't even imagine that. I sometimes wonder what it's going to be like when they become adults of when they move out on their own. I'm sure my wife will cry. |

Question: Is my mother's abusive boyfriend legally entitled to anything? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 06:12 PM PDT My mom is hoping to break up with her abusive boyfriend soon. They ve been together for 5+ years, but they've never been married and on account of my mother becoming mentally ill throughout the duration of their relationship, she lost her job and depends completely on him to pay everything around the house. That said, though, practically everything is my mother s. The Section 8 Housing we live in is under her name, our car is hers and under her name, all our furniture, our televisions, etc. When he came into our lives 5+ years ago, he didn't bring anything and hasn't bought anything major to add to our household. But since he s been paying rent and utility and all that over the years, if they were to break up is he entitled to anything? They re not married, again, and the car and house belong to my mother, but I m really worried that with his temper and ego he d try arguing otherwise since he has been paying the bills around here and I fear he might get the police involved. Does he have a case? By the way, he's listed in our Section 8 application/voucher as well as someone who's living with us, but it's my mom that's listed as head of household and it's my mom who applied for it in the first place. |

Question: How will I know when my ex has filed a mention to change the our custody "arrangement"? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 05:27 PM PDT I was awarded sole legal and physical custody of my 3 children in our divorce. He never showed up in court to contest the divorce in the first place. I have let my two kids who want to see him go down and visit with him. They aren't currently staying with him until the end of the school year (he lives in another state). He has said he is filling for custody a week ago. How will I know if/when he has filed so I can get a lawyer? |

Question: If my kids came to live with me to help me then why aren't they helping me? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 04:33 PM PDT My husband was sick with cancer. I was taking care of him day and night, besides taking care of my animal rescue and our home that we own together. My youngest son and his wife needed a place to live as they got evicted from pretty much every place they lived. My husband and I agreed to let them stay with us until they find a place to rent. Our agreement was that they would help with my rescue and help around the house and help me take care of my sick husband. They haven't helped very much at all. They don't clean up after themselves until the house gets so trashed that everything you touch gets you dirty, their belongings laying and thrown everywhere. I ended up, not only taking care of my sick husband (he died May 18, 2017) my rescue, my home, now I'm taking care of them. Neither of them work or act like they plan to work. I'm disabled due to nerve damage that affects my nerve endings, my hands, arms, feet and legs. I have to use my wheelchair sometimes. Recently my son's wife has been doing some (not a lot but some) of the dishes that they use and a few times she emptied a trash can. Today is a normal dishwashing day for her, in other words whenever she does them she does a few then goes to their room, which is where they spend almost all their time when they're here. They have two kids, ages 4 on July 4th and about 1 and a half. They feed their kids well and my husband and I bought clothes for them. My son and his wife just don't like to work at home or at a job. |

Question: I don't know what to do and i have a baby on the way with this "man"? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 03:37 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been together for almost nine months, but have known each other for about seven years. He has a child with another woman who one years old. At the beginning of our relationship she didn't want anything to do with her son, and its just got worse. My boyfriend signed a agreement stating they'd split custody 50/50. Well last month he left for Germany for the Reserves, so of course she had to have the son the entire time. The night she was suppose to pick him up she left out of state and didn't tell us. Fast forward to now, she didn't have her son her mother did. My byfriend gets back, swears he's going to take her to court for full custody, but now he wants to help her be a better mother. He never tells me when they talk, when he does its not the full story. I left him two days ago because of it but I just want to know if I'm overreacting or if I was right to leave the toxic situation. She constantly tries to break us up. |
Question: Could my ex husband really do this for me? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 03:32 PM PDT This is my last year at college and the teacher of my calculus class told me I was failing the class and I should get a tutor. He said they charged $95 per hour. This was money I did not have. I went through my phone book and called EVERYONE and no one would lend me the money. I was about to give up when my mother suggested I call my ex husband to see if he would loan me some money. He has since remarried so I knew there was VERY LOW odds he would do it. I had not talked to him in over 2 years. I concluded that I had nothing to loose by calling him. What he said just blew me away. He said there is no need to go into debt for a tutor. Come over and he would do it for FREE. I wanted with every bone in my body to take him up on his offer because it meant I would graduate on time. I told him I did not want to cause him any problems with his wife. He said she finished calculus just 2 years ago and she knew how hard it was. He also said she would help him tutor me. WOW WOW WOW. Could a wife really be OK with her husband tutoring his former wife? I don't think I could if the situation was reversed. Should I take his word that his wife is OK with it. The LAST thing I want to do is cause him a problem with his wife. We did not have any children and we had a friendly divorce. Can an ex husband and his wife really be that nice? |
Question: Why is it that married men rarely leave their wives for their GF? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 03:19 PM PDT This is my second married guy and despite promises promises I know in my heart he won't do it just like the other one I had |
Question: Hiring my brother in law who has a past of drug abuse? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 02:59 PM PDT My husband wants to bring his brother out from another state to work for us. However he has trouble with substance abuse and not sure if he still uses. He won t be living with us because I don t want to invite that possiblity into my home. I don t want to hire him either because I just don t want problems. My husband wants to help him. Any thoughts? Thanks! |
Question: Is this the right counselor? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 02:07 PM PDT My husband and I have recently started seeing a counselor. We ve been 3 times so far. Our biggest problem is our children from previous marriages. All 3 times we ve been, the counselor has mainly focused on my 15 year old step daughter and her issues and problems due to her mother and my stepdaughter s mother s mental issues. I am unable to see or understand how spending 2 to 3 hours each time (3 times total) talking about my husband s ex wife s mental health is going to help our marriage. Am I missing something? Or is this just not the right counselor for us? |

Question: My mother says she will kick me out if I try to get jealous of her husband? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 01:24 PM PDT |
Question: How should I feel about what my ex husband is doing to my mom? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 01:17 PM PDT Many years ago my mom was in a car accident. When she got out of the hospital the doctors told her she had to have some one with her to take care of her for 5 days until she was able to take care of herself. It would have been very hard for me to get off work so my husband Jason took care of mom for the 5 days. Mom fully recovered thanks in part to the great care Jason gave her. Mom is going to have surgery soon and she wants Jason to take care of her again for a few days when she gets out of the hospital. The problem is Jason is now my ex husband and I have remarried. I told mom that even though we had a friendly divorce I didn't think I could ask Jason to do what she wants. She said I will ask him myself and she did and he readily agree to take care of her. I really have mixed feelings about this. I know Jason will give mom great care. It is almost impossible for me to take the time off to care for her and hiring a private nurse would cost way more money than I have. My current husband is upset that mom is asking my ex to help her but at the same time he does not want to do it. Should I just be grateful that mom will great care after her surgery and that Jason will do if for free because he really likes mom and she likes him and that is what really matters? |
Question: Bummed out that boyfriend's mom doesn't like me. Should I care at my age ? I'm 27? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 12:53 PM PDT She hates me because I'm introverted and never really tried to befriend her. Also I got pregnant and chose abortion but that's because I didn't have a career yet which I got one after. Either way she freaking hates me I'm not allowed over. Me and the boyfriend are in our late twenties so I decided to rent out my own place . My boyfriend never came to move in with me. I'm basically living alone . He only has visited once. And when his mom called, he didn't tell her he was with me at my new place . And he's still chosing to live there with them . I'm sad , I rented out a place I'm all alone here. I feel guilty for her not liking me. But honestly I don't really care. I just care for the sake of my boyfriend but now I moved out and he's not even trying or enthusiastic about coming over. But he said moving out was a great idea. But now he just doesn't move out !!! |

Question: Can alcohol change a persons personality? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 10:19 AM PDT Every time my husband drinks he gets real mean and loud. If we argue while he is intoxicated he wants to tear up his own property or bust windshields or drive off while drunk. Posted: 11 Jun 2017 09:44 AM PDT I just had my youngest son a few months ago. I was hitting 30 and got off my bc. My boyfriend thought it failed but I got off it secretly. We have two sons and I want him to show them to marry a girl they get pregnant. I want him to show them to be responsible. My boyfriend just turned 33 and I just turned 30. We have been in an off/on relationship since 2011. Our oldest son is 4 and our youngest is 4 months old. He said we can have a family without the legal part of marriage. We spoke about this before and he said he don't want to be married any time soon. I have a degree but don't make much. He doesn't have one but makes more than me. I want to have the big engagement ring, wedding and happily ever after. I love when we take family pictures together. I love showing friends and family we are a family. I just don't have his last name. I don't feel part of his family. I feel insecure. He never wanted a second baby but I wanted my kids with the same man. He says he doesn't believe in marriage but I think he doesn't believe in marriage with me. We fight a lot and break up often. I feel our new baby will bring us closer and marrying and being a family will make us happy. How can I convince my boyfriend to make me his wife? His brother blocked me on IG after I cursed a girl who comment on a family pic that had my boyfriend in it. He's even moving into his own apartment as well at the end of the month. We have never lived together, he has only stayed over for the kids. |
Posted: 11 Jun 2017 09:38 AM PDT I've noticed men who are with women for 5 even 10 years plus. They never marry her. Never propose. They meet a new woman and in 6 months, a year or two, they're newly married. Why is that? That's so odd to me. |

Question: My husband is my sister's ex husband? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 06:38 AM PDT They divorce because he had sex with a hooker. Sister and he have 2 kids so they still see each other frequently. But i always think that my sister still loves him. 1 year later he and i met in the bar and we started dating. My parents are not happy about it but my sister said she is neutral about it. The thing is we marry 1 month ago and I am 4 month pregnant now.i give him oral or hand but recently he does not ask for it anymore. He frequently goes to my sister house for few hours to visit their kids (1 block away). At first i dont think too much but now i suspect if he is cheating because my niece tells me that my sister and he always stay in bedroom for an hour or so whenever he visits them. I wonder if he has sex with her so he no longer needs oral or hand from me? Worst thing is my sister tells me she was pregnant last week and she said it was one nite stand so she cannot reach that guy. I dont quite believe in it cos my sister does not do unprotected random sex. Husband said no worry and he will take care of that baby and he even had my sister and nieces move in with us beacuse she is pregnant. I really suspect if that is his baby. I dont know what to do now because it is strange that all 5 of us stay under one roof though they will move back after she gives birth. I bumped into few times that he touched and kissed her when i was not around but pregnant woman like me may be sensitive.I wanna trust him so i never asked if he is her baby's father. What should i do? |
Question: How do I reconnect and feel secure with a husband who lies.? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 06:35 AM PDT I have been married for almost four years and my husband and I are getting ready to have our first child. Our relationship has been rocky at best, but we seem to make it through a lot of tough times and come out still loving each other. My husband has been making very poor financial decisions, and as a result our relationship has taken a toll. To make matters worse, he lies about our finances, drinking, and just about anything else he thinks I don t need to know about. It really hurts, and I am deeply depressed. I want to seek counseling but don t want to put an added financial burden on us. I have tried telling him how I feel, because every time he lies I discover the truth on my own. I feel very overwhelmed; my husband told me about a year ago that some of his poor financial decisions were a result of feeling stuck because I didn t want children at the time. I thought that maybe starting a family would be a way for us to reconnect. I desperately want a relationship filled with trust and no secrets. I have been contemplating moving back with family because I am feeling very overwhelmed being alone and getting ready to have my first child and be three hours from any family. I want to fix our problems and become a family that loves and trusts one another, but I just feel so overwhelmed and I don t know how to do it all alone. |
Question: Are women who say 'don't cheat' just jealous of we that do? Posted: 11 Jun 2017 03:33 AM PDT I read these answers and realize many of the women married as virgins and have never had but one guy. Also many just aren't attractive to other men so never get the attention and offer. I think most are jealous deep down and would love the chance to go with some hunk. Try it you might like it! |
Posted: 11 Jun 2017 03:29 AM PDT My husband received a call 6 times in a row from a number with a nickname I asked him to call the person back it must be important. He said he didn t know who it was. I looked at our phone records and saw he s been talking to whoever this is for sometime. I decided to call this person and find out what is going on and they told me that they have been dating my husband for some time now and they thought our marriage wasn t serious. When I confronted my husband about this he said that they were just friends and that person was just trying to break us up. I can t trust my husband anymore I am now overly suspicious of everything. I told him I want a divorce but he says nothing happened and that he really loves me. I m so confused and hurt what would you do? |

Where we are only suppose to have sex with our spouse . My wife is very beautiful and curvy on right areas . I am married for about 1 years now . My best friend is a very gentle but one thing I know that he has a very big penis (I have seen it and even jokingly touched it) he is at-least 8 inch and very thick . Lately I have been very turn on by fantasy of my best friend having sex with my wife . My wife has given me hint of my small size and my friend likes curvy women (His fiencee is thin ) I think she deserves to enjoy a bigger cock and he deserves a curvy woman . First tell me why I am so turned on by this and second if I share her will I like it or I may get jealous and it will ruin my married life . I am not sure its just a fantasay |
