I'm asking my question to get an honest outsiders Point of view. My friend and I went out drinking and I left her at the club while she was drunk. She told people about it and now I'm being labeled as a "bad friend." She didn't want to leave and while we're "friends" NOW we haven't always been. We just made up after she insulted me for the 100th time. We came to the club the same day we made up (after 3 years of not speaking). She didn't want to leave and I was drunk and knew I had reach my limit so I left. So many people are telling me that I should've stayed with her but I feel like it would NOT have made a difference. I can't carry her, we had different Ubers and I was also very drunk. I honestly don't understand why everyone is upset with me and are asking me to apologize. Should I apologize to her?"

Right now I'm having a hard time understanding why my own best friend would be mad at me and it hurts me very much when I do something that makes him mad. All what I did was tell him to give me $20 so we could use it for bowling but I've had free bowling chips on me the whole time, then when he'd seen me paying the cashier at the bowling alley with my free bowling chips he totally freaked out and got on my case about it, I've then told him that I'll use the money for lunch at McDonald's and then when I didn't have enough to cover both of our meals I've made him give me an extra $, he had the nerve to tell me that my meal is more expensive than his. Then he keeps on chewing me out that I've took advantage of him for his money which was not my intention, he also told me that he wants his money back, my response to him was I've already paid him back and that he just has a short term memory, it hurts me that my friend thinks of me as someone who takes advantage of people for money, I don't feel that I've done anything wrong at all, I think my friend should focus on things from his own dumb of point of view instead of another person's point of view, I also wish my best friend doesn't have the ability of seeing things from another person's point of view and it hurts me that he does.

Hi. I went on this field trip yesterday to an amusement park and when I arrived I couldn't find my4 best friends anywhere so I waited at least 7 more minutes until 3 of my friends from my bus dragged me into the park. i wanted to wait but they were already dragging me in. When I was in line I spotted my best friends. We were so happy to see each other. They told me after I get off the ride I was in line waiting for, to meet them at a ride called the 'boston tea party'. after the ride, 2 out of my 3 friends begged to go in this spinny ride before our way to the meet up. I said no but they went on anyway. I could have left them but I didn't know my way around the park. I was worried that my bestfriends had thought that I forgot about them and that they wasted so much time waiting for me that after my 2 friends go off, I dragged all 3 of them to where i was supposed to meet my bfs. When we got there, my bfs weren't there. That's when I knew I was right. and therefore I was right, I knew for a fact that they were going to ignore me. the rest of the day, they ignored me and I was all sad and depressed. I texted one of my bestfriends who was kind enough to answer. I explained everything from why I was late to how terrible of a best friend I am/was. She forgave me. I texted my other bf and she left me on read. The best friend who forgave me facetimed me and told me that my other bestfriends didn't want to forgive me and thought i wanted attention and that my apology was fake. :(help My bestfriends are ignoring me What should I do? I hate the fact that people don't build trust easily. Okay I know it's a ****** up world full of shitty people. But I hate it that some people prefer people over you. Why can't everyone enjoy the company of others. Why is it so complicated. I'm not being naive but friendship is an asset everyone deserves. Why do people need alot of time and effort to befriend you. Are friendships business contracts or simple relationships?

My best friend just told me that he is moving to another school, we've only been together for 2 years and we are best friends and we are both guys , When he told me that he's moving I couldn't breathe and talk to him for about 1 minute or 2. This friend's jokes aren't funny, and he constantly follows me around. He turns everything into a dumb joke. Okay, so let s call my friend: Leah. Leah and I have been best friends ever since fourth grade. This past school year she was much more depressed. Saying how she wanted to die or run away. My friends and I told the counselor, and then she stopped talking to us about her problems. I think she made it seem like she was okay, but she was hiding everything. So I have this friend who lives kinda far away. We used to be really close & chat everyday, but suddenly we just drifted apart and didn't talk with eachother that much. A few days ago we had this really "deep" talk since she had just broken up with her boyfriend and needed to open up. She said that she wants to be closer to me again, but is always too afraid to talk to me since she thinks that I have other better friends and don't like her/think she's annoying. I responded that I feel exactly the same, and that we should start talking and meet up more often. However today I found out that she's coming to my town and is going to hang out with my other friends, but didn't even ask me. I tried to mention that I could come too if she wanted me to, and she just said "lol sure if you want to.." Every time I try starting a conversation with her she responds really blandly and it just seems like she's not interested in talking with me at all. She never starts conversations herself. And I mean, it'd be completely fine if she didn't want to be friends with me, but she complains about how she wants to be more close to me. I'm so confused??

My coworker and I are really close. We have known each other for 3 years. We only live like 2 minutes away from each other and always carpool and go to lunch and stuff together. How should I keep hanging out with them? I would want to invite them over but my parents and 22 year old sister live with me, and is it weird that me, a single guy is inviting them with their wives, and kids to my house? Since they are the ones who are married with kids, should I just wait for them to initiate stuff? I know there are certain stuff they just want to do with their families, kids, etc. and not throw myself in.

I am soo tired of this! It's getting on my nerves because I can't see it. My boss who is in his 50s brought in his new wife who is in her 20s and introduced her to his employees. When I met her, she said "you look vaguely familiar, have we met before"? I feel bad letting money come between my friendship and let me doubt my own decisions but the pages of the book clearly shows its pirated. I'm 14 almost 15 and I've lived in the EXACT same house all my life. I hate this city so much. It's a small town (well it has about 26,000 people in it) but has almost 0 attractions. We don't have a mall or anywhere fun to hangout. Most of the people here are black and ghetto (and I'm black myself and I don't act ghetto like them) or white and middle class (some of them are nice but they mostly treat me like garbage) so I don't fit in anywhere! All my friends that I've made (the few ones that in have made) have moved away or changed. Like I just started a new program to join my friends and come to find out she might be moving. Happened in middle school, friend of mine just up and left after winter break. Same happened in elementary. My other friends changed in High school (just finished 9th grade)I'm tired of watching people move and change right in front of my eyes. This city is holding me back from my full potential. I want to move so I can see/meet new people. Go to a new town and maybe meet more people like me! It feels like I'm being held captive here. Get up, and do the same things everyday. See the same city every day! I'm so tired of it. I literally only have 3-4 friends and one is moving away! One of them barely talks to me anymore! And the other one constantly brags to me about how great her life is and honestly I get jealous. Please! What can I do? I've tried asking my parents to move with another relative but they won't budge!

My friend is the oldest child in a family of four kids. Last year she told me her mother was abusive, but after trying to get help from a counselor she told me to stay out of it. To respect her wishes I did– maybe I was too push-y. But two days ago she came up to me and another friend (who whom herself is rather unstable at times with diagnosed anxiety and depression. she has tried to commit suicide, but she is seeking better medical care now). With this other friend she opened up about the extremity of her home life: her father, who was once her safe haven, is now also abusive. When I say abusive I mean physically and emotionally. Two years ago she used to get these chronic migraines, and she also claimed she 'fell down the stairs'. She had to have several surgeries for her leg and foot. I believe it was her mother On the last few nights something had occurred, something had triggered the parents, I think. They took away her phone, hid the house phone, and abused her brutally. She blacked out. She admitted that at one point she had climbed out of the building's window and had hung there. If her hand slipped she would've just died. The only thing that kept her from falling is that she remembered how distraught the school was when another kid committed suicide a year ago. I'm worried for her safety– not so much her siblings. My friend alludes that she is the only one who is victimized. She lives on a high floor in a building, and relatives don't live in this country.

So last year, one of my "friends" moved to Texas and I broke off the friendship with her. She was honestly a really bad friend to me and I was so much happier when she was gone. Well, now she is coming back to visit and is staying with one of my close friends for a month! I really dont want to talk to her. Ive tried breakig off a friendship when she lived here, but she went all suicidal on me. I don't want that to happen because again, im so much happier now. What do i do? I heard that she actually wants to see me and is really mad at me. I don't know what to do?!

I spoke to this person about personal things and I guess she figured some other stuff out. She constantly makes comments about my current situation and the past. I've tried to let it fly over my head but it's come to the point where almost every time we have a conversation, she brings things up. I came back with "First of all, I think you better double check your hair tomorrow when you come to school. Second of all, you haven't known me my whole life, just since last year. A few years ago I had been living with a friend, and started talking to this guy I had liked since grade school. We wrote to each other almost everyday. This continued for two years. I was really excited, because he was super cute, so ended up telling my friend assuming that the person I had trusted would be proud of me, and could both be in a fairytale like relationship. I met a guy (Jarred 38 and I'm 24 female) at work and he would follow me around all day long talking my ear off, so much so that I was distracting him from working and the manager had to try and give him other things to do to separate us. If we weren't talking he would just stare and watch me all day from wherever he was. I like him as a person and we were emailing each other once a week. He works across the road from where I live and he also lives a suburb down from me, but he never called or asked to hang out. I feel like he must not really care much if he does not even want to meet in real life. He is single without kids, so it's not like he's busy. I don't understand why he continues to email me yet never asks to meet up and since he's only a 20 min walk away from where I live. No rude answers please

Up until a few months ago, I was overweight and I had really bad acne. I was really mad at myself for making poor decisions and decided to finally take care of myself. I was 5'5 and 148 pounds. In 3 months I managed to lose 24 pounds by eating clean and exercising. My face is now clear and I am so happy that I no longer hate myself but my friend has been acting weird. She's overweight and has pimples here and there and she always complains but then says she doesn't care. My friend and I were talking on the phone and we are super close. (Were in our late 20's) She said something that kind of bothered and hurt me but I didn't say anything. Later she could tell something was wrong, I told her how bothered I was about what she had said (a comment she had made to me) I was tearing up. She said "I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, I didn't mean to hurt you" we talked it out. Is it silly that I confronted something that was bothering me? Me and "Will" have been friends since kindergarden, and are now into our second year of highschool. We've always been close and have been thru many things together. I am new as a server and everyone treats me like I am retarded. They don't do this to the other new servers though... Everyone seems to have little cliques and side conversations that I am never included in. These guys were flirting with me at the beginning but now they like ignore me and act all standoffish...
