He is from Pittsburgh (Penguins) and we both live in the San Francisco bay area. (Dubs baby!) Something is bothering me this week. Am I a weirdo? Jeff's daughter Amanda is eight and I notice that after school she likes to take her school skirt off. Amanda mostly stays hidden in her room but on Tuesday she came out in her underpants to ask Dad a question. I thought she looked cute in her satin white panty. Yesterday I came over a little earlier to watch the Warriors (go up 3-0!!) and Amanda was across Jeff's lap getting a spanking. Obviously I'm looking for work but in the mean time I still want to meet new people to make friends, plus I'm single and would like a new partner somewhere down the line and that'd be far easier if I had a social life! As I'm not working and have no friends I've no social life and options to meet new people are limited. I work two voluntary jobs but it's new so still early days, not sure how great this will be in that regard. There are currently no college courses I could take, but even if there were now's not the best time. I'm not religious so churches etc. aren't an option and I don't have any hobbies like knitting etc. I spend time in public places, but hanging out alone in parks isn't exactly how friendships are formed. Meetup.com is obvious but without money it's not always possible for me to go to meetups, besides I'm feeling like a bit of a loner going to the same meetups week after week - I'm not sure how these things are supposed to progress to friendships. I'm so incredibly socially isolated but not sure how to change this. |

Posted: 08 Jun 2017 04:16 PM PDT Generally speaking I find it hard to make friends in part because I'm currently unemployed - thus no money to go out to meet new people - but even when I'm in employment I found it difficult even to make friends at work too, also I'm in my thirties and it's much harder to make friends then when you're a kid. I'm Autistic so I'm used to it taking time to make friends, I've had friends before but they were via school or work and I wasn't able to maintain them once I left school or the workplace. I've never understood how you go from stranger or acquaintance to friend...I'm not entirely sure how it happened when I did have friends. When I try to socialize via meetup I don't seem to establish any acquaintances or friendships there, it's just random conversations, and I don't know if it's at all possible to gain friendships from casual encounters. |

They actually made plans to go to the pool with me and I get a text from one of them saying "hey no pool today." With no explanation and I ask why. Hours go by with no response so I ask her girlfriend and she goes we wanted to sleep in we were up playing video games last night. Which they always are, usually till 4 in the morning. Just now a group of us made plans to have dinner and she asks if she could invite her girlfriend and we say sure and now she says "oh never mind we are busy". I'm starting to get a little fed up because we used to hangout with them all the time but they have been making excuses. These are just two examples, they do this ALL the time now. Should we just stop inviting them as they are unreliable friends? |

They went out and got two large dogs who potty EVERYWHERE in the house, at that time my daughter was learning to crawl so I obviously threw a huge fit because my daughter was crawling on shitty pissy carpets! We've had several problems since, but NOW this last month, they went and picked up the wife's cousin from New Orleans where he was "living on the street" they didn't tell my husband or me! They just left and came back and started unloading his stuff and his HUGE dog or is of course also not trained. Some random guy who could be a child molester for all we know, around our small daughter! He doesn't have a job and has no car or license to go find one. So he isn't paying any bills but using power, the spare room, water and eating our food. Rents due again and I don't feel like we should have to pay our whole half of rent, I feel like they should pay his part since they brought him here. Am I being petty? Any advice? We live in AR were tenants have zero rights so getting out of the lease isn't really an option. |

I do enjoy getting some drinks every now and then but i can go to a party perfectly happy sober. I can dance and have fun without the alcohol. I enjoy a drink every now and then but i dont see anything boring about being sober. I been pretty depressed because i just dont feel like i click much with anyone. I dont see anything wrong with being sober but it feels like everyone my age needs to be a lil buzzed or high to enjoy anything thats going on. She got angry with me at the reception for talking to other people (I think, specifically a guy who was being friendly and trying to get to know me while I was grabbing drinks for us). I was also socializing with other people (she was there for a lot of it) during the cocktail hour. She was pretty cold toward me during the dinner, and then after there was a musical performance. At the end, the drummer let everyone take a turn playing his drum that would spray water when you hit it. She didn t want to play because she was wearing silk, so I decided not to either. Then the guy I had spoken to earlier asked if I wanted to try it together, and I decided to go for it. She ignored me for the rest of the night and the morning after, and at the airport she told me she was mad at me. She said she doesn t know why I came to the wedding. I feel like she was being possessive over me and I don t think that s the right way to treat a person. What do you think? I am confused by the way she acted. |

I entered college freshemen year and basically one of the girls deleted me out of social media (and we literally hung out the day before that) well she deleted me and poseted on her Facebook that "people" (me) should not talk about how good their life is going! (I was talking about getting my degree in a previous post) Well i still managed to see the post and got angry and imminently thought she was jealous, so I decide to tell my other friend who is also friends with her and my friend basically agreed with the girl and said "well you do come off as showing off you know we dont go to school" And she started ignoring me as well. And leaving my messages open. I have this OTHER friend who ignores me and just messages me when she needs something (with school) she doesnt go to school either and she messaged me and hung out with me only so i can do something to help her enroll. He has a wireless mic and he can keep bothering me with his friends. I tried getting MRI, but it is hard to find, so with the few seconds the doctor gave to look for any "device in my head" she could not find anything. I've been harassed 24/7 by this Mexican kid and his new African mind reader friend. It is unbelieveable, but I am criticized every day and my symptoms are getting worse. Please, help. Shes always been loud mouthy and people generally don't like her because of her mouth she turns ppl off. Ive always been there to defend her. She ruined my other childhood friends relationship on purpose when we were 12 both of them are white and she ruined it by telling her that I said this and that while I was in vacation with my family the summer of 98. She told me my friend didn't like black people.Turns out she never said that and I never said the things she accused me of saying about my other friend. To this day shes talk proud she ruined a friendship. Anyway we stayed friends all through middle and high school. She said she told a group of girls I was gay because I had never been with a boy in 9th grade. I asked the girls if she told them that and they said no and that they wouldn't listen to anything she had to say because they hated her and that she was probably jealous of me. She had her brother call my house to call me a ****** after we had a fight. I was too embarrassed to tell my parents or my big brother because I know my parents would have put an end to our friendship and my brother would have kicked his *** not that I would have cared but I was scared my bro would tell my parents what he called me. Anyway on my 1 year anniversary we found out we were expecting and she said she hopes I was kidding and good luck being a single mom. She found out she couldn't have kids. |

I was thinking of inviting some distant acquaintances/former coworkers to my party to make up the numbers, but the party is on Friday night and I'm worried that it might be seen as rude to invite them on such late notice? He has a wireless mic and he can keep bothering me with his friends. I tried getting MRI, but it is hard to find, so with the few seconds the doctor gave to look for any "device in my head" she could not find anything. I've been harassed 24/7 by this Mexican kid and his new African mind reader friend. It is unbelieveable, but I am criticized every day and my symptoms are getting worse. Please, help. Police and people direct me to doctor or psychiatrist when it is not that problem. Please, help! |

My experience with her has taught me that she's very manipulative and self-centered, and overall a toxic person, especially since I've also seen how she treats her current friends. One of my best friends recently confessed to me that has a huge crush on her (he doesn't know everything that's happened between her and me), and I can tell that he really likes her. He's been asking me for advice about the whole thing, and I'm really confused because I don't want to talk badly about her to him, since I'm the one who had a negative experience with her and not him, but on the other hand I don't want him to get hurt, and I know she's the kind of person who would hurt him. He said he's never cheated and never will. He said 6 months sounds a lot to him and he cant even imagine being with the same person for a year. This broke my heart because Ive wanted a committed relationship for a long time. He might be my first and I'm like his 4th or 5th, but only had sex with one and foreplay with some. Basically hes telling me he'll get tired of me after 2 months and try to replace me. I spend all day dreaming about us being together for years, he seems so cool and my opposite self but the more we talk the more distance I feel. Her mom died last year and it's about to be the 1 year mark since then, she's going to be so upset this month. She got a new pool recently and I was thinking, what if I wrote a short sweet hand written letter and sent it to her along with a new comfy pool (chair) float. Just to boost her spirits a tiny bit.. Would that be weird? A young kid sending her a fun pool float? |

| Posted: 07 Jun 2017 09:35 PM PDT 3 weeks after the affair came out and my husband came crawling back to me, I asked my friend who is a girl (who is the best friend of the girl my husband cheated on with) and I asked her if she was the middleman sending messages from the other girl to him and she said no. At the same time she went onto saying " that's none of my business and I am shocked about the affair. I treat you like my sister, and I never knew anything until everything came out".....a week later my husband confessed and said she was sent one message for the other girl and that she knew about the affair for a whole month. I've known and have hung out with this girl for many years. Its one thing my husband cheated and lied...but for this friend that I trusted so much, she lied to me when I asked her about sending messages. and even had the nerve to call me her sister?! She's obviously choose her side. We are meeting up for dinner, How do I confront and talk to her about this? |

He gave me a job when no one else would and I just adore him. He is always available to help me when I need help. He is giving me training so I can improve my skills and get a higher wage. He is very generous with raises. All the guys I work with are my friends and I enjoy working with them. They are just great people and I enjoy coming to work each day. I found out my boss called a meeting soon after I was hired of all the guys and told them "We now have a beautiful woman working here and I do not want any problems with sexual harassment". "Anyone that is going to hit on her will be fired immediately". "I know having a beautiful woman working here is new for you guys, but she is a very valuable member of our team and I don't want to loose her". "It is my moral and legal obligation to see that she does not feel the slightest pressure of sexual harassment". I think my boss paying me a compliment. My friends that I told about this told me he was just trying to protect the company from sexual harassment claims. What do you think? |

| Question: Reason why a friend would say this? Posted: 07 Jun 2017 07:52 PM PDT Okay so for context I am quite a naturally skinny person, around 5'6 and 115 lbs. This is something people have always acknowledged in me and pointed out. Today in a discussion with a friend, the subject of size/weight kind of came up. My friend started to get really defensive about me being skinny. She kept saying stuff like "you're not even that skinny. my friend's skinnier than you. you're not that much skinnier than me". For some more context, she's a larger girl. She wouldn't drop it, and kept insisting to me that I'm not skinny. When I told my other friends about it they thought it was really weird too. She's also done this before, but with me "looking younger than my age". I'm 21 but because I dress youthfully and don't wear make up, people tend to think I'm around 16/17. The same friend gets really defensive whenever this is mentioned, and starts saying stuff like "you do look your age. people always think I'M younger than i am. you don't even look that young". Why do you think she might do this? And what can I say to her when these conversations arise? I don't want to fall out with her over it. up until now I have held my tongue every time she does it and shrugged it off, but honestly it's starting to get really annoying. |

I thought I was doing a favor, but instead it backfired and he's been running around telling kids at school that their parents are "low-brained dipshits" because they work in a trade or didn't go to college/grad school. I know what he's saying is true, but how do I get him to understand that you shouldn't tell peasants about their status because they get all offended and pissy? |
