Question: French wedding tradition? Posted: 16 Jun 2017 06:33 PM PDT When French guys propose to their girlfriends, do they have rings? Or is the tradition to propose and then eventually go out and pick a ring together? |
Question: Can you wear your engagement ring and wedding ring on the right hand? Posted: 16 Jun 2017 05:29 PM PDT Iv been with my partner for nearly 9 years 2 beautiful kids really happy so marriage is something we started to speak about. My issue is I was born with only 3 fingers on my left on so I'm missing my ring finger and pinky finger. Would it be okay to wear both my rings on my right when the time does come. |
Question: Is it normal to freak out after getting engaged? Posted: 16 Jun 2017 03:15 PM PDT I'm 21, been with my now fiancé for over 2 1/2 years, and we got engaged back in march. At the time, I was so sure of the way I felt and so ready to spend forever together. I arranged engagement pics and started planning right away. However, recently, I have been questioning things. I feel like I still have so much I want to do before I settle down. And, as horrible as it sounds, I want to be able to flirt with other guys, go out whenever I want, etc.. my last year of college will start this fall and I want to make it count. My fiancé is 25 and ready to settle but I still have so much I want to do. I don't want to break off an engagement and hurt him. But I don't think I should be feeling this way. Can anyone relate?? |

Question: My friend is engaged to the guy that cheated on his GF with her? Posted: 16 Jun 2017 09:36 AM PDT Long story: They met about 3 years ago at work (I worked there too) she was 21 and he was 25. He had been with his GF for 2 years at that point and they were together for about 10 more months until he finally left her for my friend. I'll admit, now he seems like he is crazy about her and she is crazy about him. Is it possible for this to workout? When he first started seeing my friend he told me he wouldn't be cheating on his GF if he was happy and he claimed they hadn't had sex for 4-5 months. I know that isn't a reason but is it possible that he really does love her and was a one time cheater? |
Question: Nicer Way of Saying No Children at Wedding? Posted: 16 Jun 2017 07:16 AM PDT We are looking at wording for our invitations and trying to come up with a polite way of informing guests that children are not welcome at our wedding or reception. Its not that we hate kids - we love them. It's just that neither one of us wants to hear a child screaming as we take our vows in the church nor do we want kids running around the reception causing trouble. The wedding is on the formal side and dinner will be a sit down, catered and served affair. We don't think requesting no children to be present is unrealistic or crazy given the nature of the event. So we were wondering if there is a nice way of getting this point across without having to come out and make it obvious. My future MIL suggested "Adult Reception to follow" or something like that but it doesn't cover the ceremony. Any suggestions? |
