My mom got compensation money and she made terrible choices with it OVER AND OVER AND OVER. I would tell you them but there s so much to go over. But she wasted 80,000 dollars in a span of two years!!!! I tried to explain but she wouldn t listen and then asked everyone to help her make money when she isn t good at that herself. She can t work hard anymore because she had a work injury (how she got compensation) she makes a smaller amount of money now but also throws it out the window. We went from living in a very nice apartment to a house, to hotels, to ANOTHER house to a crappy apartment. This apartment is 300 a month and yes it is in a terrible neighborhood with black and Mexican gangs. I refuse to help my mother with this rent after she wasted money on a second house for the SECOND TIME. She then would say she felt depressed and wanted to kill herself. Like honestly why does she have to be so stupid :( why. We have been poor our entirely lives and we were doing great in the very nice apartment and she threw it away. My little sister is turning 18 this year she is helping her with the rent. I am moving in a month I told her today and she said it s fine if I think it s better to live with my boyfriend in a different city. I said it is because i am going to go to college over there. She said she will move somewhere cheaper or out of state somewhere cheaper. I can t believe I m going to lose my mom. I won t see her anymore :( I don t want her to move far away.

My son is 13 and he's becoming like his dad. He started talking back and refusing to do chores this is his 3rd time not taking out the trash and I had to drive to the dump yard because it too much. I got a 3 year old daughter, and because I'm only 17 and I don't have anywhere else to live, I still live with my dad. But he keeps touching her inappropiately in my opinion. For example a couple weeks ago he lifted her up with one hand inbetween her legs and the other wrapped around her waist and he always kisses her even when she doesn't want to. My father-in law use send me a card with My father-in law use to send me a card with money, then it was just a card, then it was a phone call, now the last two years he texts me 5 days after my Birthday and wishes me a happy belated birthday. OK so my family isn't exactly the best. My mom is a stubborn annoying over religious nut job. She lives by herself in her own condo. I'm 18. Living with my dad and recently we just found a new condo but me and my father can't get in unless my mother writes a letter saying its OK for me to live with my father. I called her and she said she wasn't going to be writing it because she has a room for me at her apartment. As you can tell, I'll rather die before i live with her so i dont know what to do. My sister is living in England with my Dad and all my other relatives, while I am stuck in America, miserable. I had the option to move there and live with my Dad when I was my sisters age, but chose against it for multiple reasons. Now everyday I am reminded by my sister of the life that I could have had. My Dad says there is no way now for me to live there with her at the same time, so it basically feels like he chose her over me. I never go anywhere I have no social life Anyone who tries to be my friend I get mad at. I constantly think someone is going to kidnap or kill me.Because I was kidnapped like 20 years ago.He didn't do anything because I escaped. I need to be on hormone replacement therapy for menopause but I don't like the drugs SO I just suffer! I used to be a very nice person, I miss her. I currently live with my parents, along with my gf of 3 years. We have an almost 3 month old with us. The issue was that my mom had done things to make my gf mad. Her pregnancy didn't go as well as she would have liked. Like being told to clean or do things around the house. She spent a lot of time throwing up so her comments didn't help. My gf feels like my mom cares more for the baby than herself. An argument happened and this Saturday is my newborn's baptism. So everything seems like it's going to crap. My gf plans on moving with her mom and wants no contact with my mom( for the time being) We don't want to completely be away from them, since it's their grandchild. He picked being an alcoholic over me. His older kids from his 1st marriage see him and yet my Mom will not let me see him until I am an adult. I am 14 now. I hate Father's Day. My Mom's father died in March so she is down and my Dad doesn't love me enough to stop drinking. My older siblings offer to take me but my mother won't let me. It hurts so much. The older three siblings will all be getting together at his pool Sunday and it is 20 minutes from where I live and yet I am not allowed to go. Also my Dad does get angry when he is drunk which my Mom says makes it worse (her grandfather was an alcoholic). So how do I not feel so sad all week through Sunday that it is Father's Day on Sunday and all my family is allowed to be with my father except me? I feel that they likely feel I am not good enough to be in the family even though they are nice to my face. I am also mad at my Mom for making me miss it. She is punishing me to get my Dad back for picking alcohol over her. If I am using big people words it is because this is all my Mom talks about. She hates my Dad with a passion and it makes me miserable. I hate holidays. I will be asking the same thing come Christmas and Thanksgiving. I am a son, a boy. I wish I had a Dad. Both my grandfather's have died also. ♠ Merlin ♠ · I am a kid, teen. My older siblings said they can only get me if my Mom is okay with it. She has made clear she isn't. During a conversation about awkward childhood experiences, I ended up telling my friends about something that has always bothered me a little bit: the way my pediatrician used to touch my genitals. When I was a child, I had a male doctor, and during every check up he would ask my mom to turn away and "poke around" (sorry to be crude, I can't think of how else to describe it) my private area with his hands. I am a junior in high school, and I keep to myself most of the time at home. My family mainly focuses on my sister rather than me, which I am honestly kind of fine with. With them more focusing on my sister, I have had to keep to myself and focus on my grades, and doing everything by myself. Which I am doing great so I am not too upset about that. So when I had to go to school over the weekend to take an online class final exam, my dad asked if he wanted to walk me in and I jokingly said, "No, I am an independent person I can do it myself" and we both laughed. But then he said, "maybe a little too independent" and I didn't say anything after. Is being too independent a bad thing? I always thought being independent is good, but by the way my dad said it, it came across as a bad thing.

When I was 4 years old, I was diagnosed with autism (high functioning). As a result, I went to a primary school with a special needs unit. It was an unfortunate circumstance but despite that, I progressed well over the years and went to a mainstream secondary school, passed my SATS, GCSES and A Levels and now received a qualification at the Open University. Now I'm 24 and it's as though my mum is still stuck in the past. She keeps bringing up my past problems as though it's still there even though I have come so far that it's pretty much non-existent. For some reason, she still thinks I'm incapable of doing certain things. For example, I took the train to go clothes shopping in another town one day and when I came back she said "Oh, did you do that all by yourself?" I've done this many times before. Another time, my mum was returning on a flight from another country and I offered to make her a cup of tea when she got back home and she said "Oh, did your sister ask you to say that?" She thinks I can't take the initiative and do things for other people. In fact she underestimates me so much that a few years ago, she made me sign up for a disabled benefits allowance and I got 0 points (which means I'm fine.) She was convinced that I would not be independent and earn my own money. Now, I finished studying and got a job at a hotel so I knew it was all in her head. Why can't she just treat me like a normal person and not let my past circumstances cloud her judgement?

I homeschooled my kids they are 17 and 18, mainly did that so they would not have many options when they were done with school. Because I want them to know how hard life is and that nothing is easy. Both of the careers my kids want involve driving. But, that would make them spolied. I do not want to support either in a career. I shouldn't have to as parenting is only for 16 years. At 17/18 they're basically adults not young adults, but real adults. I never got either a learners permit or license. And I do not plan to. I'm not allowing either of them to use my car. They both refuse to walk 15 miles to leave my house. Am I normal? I don't understand why my sister supports her 2 kids(17 and 20) she bought both driving lessons, a car, allowed both to go to college(my sister is paying for it). My brother is autistic and he lives with me since he can't take care of himself. He's diabetic and his A1C was really high the last time he went to the doctor and the doctor told him if we can't get his A1C down with diet and pills then he was going to have to start taking insulin shots. So I've started buying only healthy foods. This morning, however, my brother couldn't find anything he wanted to eat and threw a bottle against the wall and when I got on to him about it, he kept screaming how I was trying to "starve" him and that he wasn't diabetic and told him the doctor knows what he's doing, he tried to kick me and when I tried to retreat up the stairs to my room, he grabbed my leg on the stairs and started twisting it. I screamed at him if he didn't stop, I was calling the police and he let go of my leg and drew back his fist to punch me, but then thought better of it and stomped down the stairs to the living room where he started throwing stuff against the wall again. I get he's autistic and I don't really want to call the police and I promised our mom before she died that I would not abandon him in a nursing home or something like that but I can't take this anymore. He's much bigger and stronger than me. I don't want to have to break my promise to my mom but I can't control him. Am I wrong? I meant "I told him the doctor knows what he's doing".

She is a drama queen and a big liar. All she does whole day is sleeps on the bed sometimes on the sofa. Sometimes when she cooks she cooks all dirty does not wash the vegetables and tomatoes etc does not wash the meat and cooks it with all the blood etc. She uses a knife or any spoon she will keep back the oily knife or spoon back in the clean utensils. For example I am not allowed to go to Father's Day because my grandmother will be there and she didn't protect my Mom from her grandfather as a kid who abused her. The grandfather of my Mom's died in 2001 so he is no threat to me. I hate being punished for what someone else did but am only 14 so can't go over on my own. It started off with her hurting me and she apologizes because she felt terribly, then she got hurt feelings because I had posted about my day being sad. She was fine and happy all day long this morning then at 8:00 she got up and got angry because someone ate all the eggrolls I guess she planned to take to work. So she came to me being grouchy asking me "who ate all the egg rolls?" And I told her that I don't know because when I was last in the kitchen doing dishes there were a lot of egg rolls on the plate in the kitchen. They needed to be kept out to cool. So she stood at the chair and told me to ask my grandpa and he told me to tell her that he ate the rest which were 4 left on the plate and she got mad. Afterwards she told me to throw the garlic sauce away and she closed her door after wards I opened her door to ask her if she wanted it in a small plastic bag to dispose of it because there was a tiny bit of juice and a lot of garlic and she yelled at me saying "do you not understand?" And explained it by yelling at me and stopped when my grandpa came in. After he talked to her (he was blocking the door when I said excuse me multiple times) and I walked out of her door and closed her door because I thought she wanted it shut and then when I was gonna ask her what she wanted me to do with the own grease her door was locked. I figured out what to do with it after and she keeps slamming doors. I told her I took care of it when I was washing the pan and she didn't even answer me. She slammed her door and locked it.. Why is she so mad at me when I did nothing :(

My brother is in the AIr Force for over a year now. Before he left he hated me. He didn't hit me or anything. He yelled at me a lot and he never did anything for me. Like once when he was going to Kings Island right before he left for the AIr Force, I asked if I could go with him. I could buy my own ticket, but I didn't drive so I couldn't go. He looked at me and said, "Hmmm.... I really want to say yes, but I want to say no even more." There was no reason he couldn't let me ride with him. I was 15 at the time so it's not like we had to stay together. Anyway I got a postcard from him today. He went to Memphis over the weekend. He said he got me a t-shirt from the Hard Rock Cafe. He didn't sign it with Love, or Sincerely, but with "Miss you like crazy" When I called him to let him know I got the post card he said if he can make it home this summer, he'll take me to Kings Island.... So....what happened in one year that caused him to stop hating me?

So last night my father caught me making out with my gf (Clothes on, she's on top of me, my hands are up her shirt). He just walked out of the room, so we continued. My mom comes in my room 5 minutes later and gets furious with me (keep in mind we still have all of our clothes on) I just let her finish yelling at me and then my dad shows up again. My mom was all like "This is what leads to a baby!" Well, we've been making out for at least 5 months, and not just in my house. Still haven't had sex. Out of nowhere my dad gets pissed at us. I know he was just putting on a show for my mom. The next day, my dad went out and bought me condoms and said "You're finally becoming a man. Have fun. These are not a free pass to have sex, but if that's what it comes to, then be safe". Anyway, why do fathers never express how they really feel in front of their wives? My family is the worst. I feel like we are nothing more than just blood. I feel like I cannot tell my family anything without them telling me i'm wrong, or stupid, or fat, or better yet, worthless. All of the people in my household family (mother, father, sister) all tell me that I am worthless. I would like to be a doctor, but they tell me that I will never be able to do that because I can't do anything. I called my mom a ******* ***** and then cursed at her and then she cursed back at me and now I am the bad guy. I feel like everyone in my family hates me and feels like i should just not even be part of it. They are going to galveston and I didn't want to go there because I hate fishing and crabbing and kayaking. I told them that but now I am forced to go do what my sister wants to do. They treat her so much better, I feel worthless to them, everything my sister wants to do happens, it feels like I am not even in the family anymore. I would like to find someone that loves and cares for me other than my friends.

My brother wanted dog for his, seeing as last year I got my puppy Roro. so they bought him a boxer puppy Tai well seeing as she is a boxer (as is roro) Tai is hard headed as the breed is known for. But my brother puts no work into training her and keeps complaining that she's not like Roro nevermind the fact that I trained Roro Religiously. Now she's 8 months and he wants to get rid of her because she's (Bad). He plays games,watchs tv and masterbates all day and barly takes her out or trains her. And now my mo is just putting her for sale like he said instead of making him be responsible and train his damn dog. When i bring up that it's not fair my mom runs to his side like she's always have. I'm pissed how do i get her to stop babying a grown man?

So my brothers like to drink Coke all the time. They drink over a can a day and nearly no water. One is 3 and one is 5. The 5 year old has had multiple teeth pulled (most likely from the coke and not brushing) and has had dehydration problems in the past. The 2 year old has not yet had these problems it's mainly the 5 year old. But recently the 5 year old just had more teeth pulled. I told my mom she needs to stop letting him drink so much coke. AND SHE GOES ALL OUT ON ME. She starts bringing all this crap how I drink Coke too (I do but not a ton and I also drink lots of water and tea) and all of a sudden she's upset and goes to her room saying I ruined her appetite and she doesn't want to eat. Now I tell my brother that he needs to stop drinking come or it will kill you. My dad goes off on me saying no it won't and saying stop being the parent. And saying that I'm trying to make him and my mom feel bad. This is after I brought up the dehydration problems to my dad. In the end it ends with me seeming to be the bad person. I just need to know, how the heck do I get my parents to stop letting my siblings drink so much coke without getting yelled at? This happens Everytime and they tell me I'm not the parent. I just don't know what to do exactly.

My dad is the second oldest boy. He's 54, and his oldest brother who is 58 hates his life. He abused him his whole life mentally and physically and made my dad work with him at his dealership from 1989 to 1999 and then when my dad questioned why hes not getting enough money for his family of 5, he got kicked out. My dad beat him up and nearly killed him but later apologized. Its never been mentioned since and its honestly not affecting anything now. Either way my dads oldest brother always fights with my dad and hates seeing him. One time my dad got in a fight with him and he got kicked out of the car and had to walk home for an hr. My dads younger brothers all halfheartedly like my dad. They come once in a while, and leave. They dont really like us as they like my dads oldest brother. My cousins all hate me and my dad reputation is tarnished among people who mutually know the brothers.I just graduated and my uncles came over recently and i never even got a congrats. My dad gave all my cousins money and gifts when they graduated and my uncles give everyone congrats but me. My dad always invited his younger brothers over and they dont seem to appreciate him. He is so sweet to them it breaks my heart. Why is my family so ****** up?

im 19 and live in the house with 2 brothers, mom and stepdad.I don't have a job and don't go to college.But I help out around the house, I do what my mom asks me to dooms time plus she doesn't really ask me to do anything ,I just do the things I have to do.I wash dishes, clean bathrooms, do laundry, I do most chores and when she invites people over I try to help her.Im like her helping hand cause I'm mostly beside helping her out. this time recently she makes a appointment to go to a nutritionist for me, her,and brother to do a diet that cost $250 per person, its for the upcoming Thursday and she hasn't paid yet she just made the appointment.right before she made it I told her I didn't want to go to the doctor.I understand that I'm fat but last year in August we went to the same doctor and I did lose a few pounds but we stopped in November.Plus after making the appointment she tells me I have to go because she already made the appointment and even I choose not to go she will force me to no matter what.I get that I'm fat but after 8 weeks with the doctor I got tired of him and no longer want to go.Im 19 and get that she can do what ever just to kick me out.But only cause I don't want to go can she really get mad at me.Its just a doctor appointment.
