Why is she still avoiding the question but still wants to hang out with me?

My girlfriend was watching a show about the Colorado movie theater shooting she hates Batman she would never go see it not because of this she's always hated Batman she's not a super hero kind of girl she likes some Marvel. She said she's never seen a Batman movie or show. She's been scared of going to the movies since this shooting. She doesn't go to the movies much anymore unless if there's an actor / singer in the movie she really likes. When we go to the movies it gets dark she starts shaking and feels afraid. We're very lucky we never had a shooting in our town she said you never know and you can't trust people. She's scared to go anywhere pretty much. She said your life can change in an instant. When we do go to the movies I wrap my arms around her tight and let her rest on my chest or on my shoulder when she feels scared or upset I walk out with her and talk to her for a little bit till she calms down. How can I help her feel better ?

This black guy randomly started talking to me while being in line. ( When he talked he had this intimidating vibe, but I did my best to be calm when I answered) The first time I saw him he purposely brought an instant coffee container to ring up with his items. Because I read that women are more likely to be targeted if avert their eyes or appear unconfident, or look like they're​ easy prey. So you should appear confident. He asked me if I had a boyfriend. I lied that I did. He later shook hands with me. I told him that he has a dead fish hand shake. He was like," what?" I replied, " I'm making fun of you" He laughed and said with ethusiasim that sounded kind of forced or a tiny bit fake, " you're so funny!" ( There was kind of this thickness in the atmosphere) The other time, he came over and stared at my other co-worker, but she's not really attractive and she's 32. Then he walked over to my register and high fives me. He then starts staring at me again lustfully. I again feel extremely anxious. It's just odd because none of my thoughts are anxious. Do you think he was just messing around? I'm feeling paranoid now. Generally, I'm very paranoid and always check to make sure no cars follow me home. But I was checking as much these days because I forgot. I also lock up at night and sleep with pepper spray

I just noticed a friend of mine had the symbol for mutual best friends next to his name when my only best friend is my girlfriend. As a matter of fact, I've only Snapchatted her in the few days leading up to noticing it. I confronted both of them on this and they each deny any contact. I didn't have any other best friends, so are my suspicions that they are talking correct? I'd hate to question further if this is a frequent glitch.
