For more than a couple of years my sister and I have not gotten along. I'm 13, she's 16. Yes, some people think it's just because of puberty or some sh*t like that, but I know it's more. I despise her because she thinks she's the only one in the entire world that can be angry or have a moment. When someone els (specifically me) gets angry she's says, "you need to sit down and have a talk with our mom" or "you have some serious attitude problems". Like wtf who even says that. One day she started an argument and ended it with you need to go change your tampon, I wasn't even on my period. And of course if she starts an argument I'm not going to sit there and let her be a bit*h to me, I going to say something right back. Besides that, she's disgusting. She'll sit in her room ALL day playing video games, only coming out of her room for food and then leaves dirty dishes in her room. I don't even know if she knows what a shower is. She will not take a shower for days Maybe weeks at a time. She also wears the same outfit almost every single day. Of course she has more clothes In her closet, nice ones too, but she wears the same thing every single day without washing it. I don't mean she has a few clothes you see her wear often, but she has one outfit she wears all the time. She also walks around with a bra and thong on all day with the windows wide open! Like hello, we have neighbors you ****. She even makes innapropriate jokes about the holocaust and is just immaprure overall.

Question: Is it wrong for a grandmother to take one grandchild on a trip and not the other?

I know a grandmother that is taking one grandchild on a very expensive trip to ny. It s not for any special reason or occasion. Their just going to stay a couple days and go see a show who the granddaughter happens to be a fan of one of the actresses in the show. The other granddaughter feels left out cause nothing is being done for her their both young teens and the only two grandchildren the grandmother has so only one is being left out which is why I m guessing she feels this way. Does this seem wrong or like favoritism? Or no big deal?

Hi, I'm a 16 year old girl and my parents are soon to be separated. I am alright with my dad leaving because of his explosive temper and disrespect towards the family. However he has no where to go and wants to still live with us unless we pay him to go somewhere else. My siblings want him to leave, and no ones happy with the situation. I am 17 years old, and my boyfriend is 18. We've been together 7 months now. I often stay around his house over night as his parents are fine about it although I had to almost fight my parents to let me stay over. As I stayed over more and more almost every weekend I assumed my parents would guess what was happening. My boyfriend's mum found condoms and just said to both of us, "aw I'm really glad you're being safe, I think it's really good to be open with your family and talk about these kind of things" and that was that I decided that I want to go on the pill to get extra protection. I wanted to do this with my mum and have her support so she can remind me to take it and just be open with her as I thought she was an open person. I was very, very wrong. As soon as she found out I got "I can't believe This. You are too young to be going around and having sex. When I was your age I didn't have this urge. I thought you were more mature than this" My mother is catholic but not strict at all, she's very liberal. She told me she didn't have sex until she was 29 as she didn't have "this urge" She kept emphasising this "urge" as something disgusting and shameful. She has agreed to get the pill for me, but I feel like I don't want it. Or to have sex again. I feel humiliated ,dirty, disgusting. I can't shake this feeling of shame. I have explained this to my mother and she doesn't understand and has said "how do you think I feel?" I just don't know what to do. Am I wrong?

My mom is constantly insulting the way I look and how I like to dress and always calling me a freak. I do retro makeup and dresses and my friends at school always say they love it. I get compliments from strangers but at the end of the day she always says I'm ugly and a freak. She's the only one who insults me like that so I don't know if she's right or not. My mom just recently went through a major health complications at the hospital while in the process of doing a surgery and they weren't able to complete it. Now that she still have to go for surgery she scared to move forward and do any other surgeries. So I was wondering what are some ways she can get over that fear to process the surgery successfully? We have new neighbors who moved above us. The mom stays at home and takes care of their three kids. The dad seems like a nice guy but the mom is ...let's just say weird. I can hear her talking rudely to her kids and yelling all the time. She calls them "dude" and uses the F word loudly in front of them. But the thing is I am not quite sure if this is enough to be called verbal abuse? There are certainly fights happening. At least one everyday and sometimes between her and the husband. And I can hear her talking to the kids like stop effing doing this and that. (Actually using the F word a lot). I don't wanna make a bad situation worse. I am not a mom and I can't imagine how hard it must be to take care of three veey young kids. But my heart breaks for her children and I don't know what to do...

I've noticed for like months now she keeps looking at me funny. She thinks I don't know but I see her looking at me through the mirror when I walk by and stuff. I dunno why. She'll touch me for no good reason in various places. It's like she'll take any chance she gets to touch my shoulders, my back and my butt too. I was walking down the hallway the other day and she walked past me and spanked my butt lightly for no reason. She had just woken up. My brother is 14 years old and has been doing a lot of bad and unhealthy things such as smoking cigarettes and weed (I don't really care if he smokes weed though), drinking, and taking speed (I think that's what they call it.) my brother trusts me not to tell our parents but I'm genuenly worried for his well being. Last night he came stumbling into the house at 3:30 am. He was so drunk he could hardly walk. I was so worried about him and couldn't take it anymore so I told my mom. One of the main negative family members is my mom. She's one of the most negative people I met in my life. She loves to pick people apart including me. At least 75 percent of the time that I do hang out with her is bunch of negativity. I'll be happy and as soon as I hang out with her she'll take away my happiness away. I'm not the only one who thinks she's negative two of my sisters cut her completely out of their lives and one my brothers distances himself from her. Of course, she talks mad **** about them to other people saying they're both horrible daughters and sometimes about my brother always acting like the victim. I am a 19 year old guy with a 15 year old sister Ann. She has a lot of homework. When I have my buddies over to hang out, she will often ask them to help her with her homework. Much to my surprise, they are eager to help her. With my buddies help and mine, she has an A grade in most of her subjects. She is very thankful for their help and usually thanks them and hugs them after they finish her homework. Now when my buddies come over the first thing they ask me is does Ann need any homework help. Liberals tell us we have to feel sorry for illegals and give them amnesty and stuff, and they defend them saying they're trying to have a better life for their families, but if they're such desperate people just trying to survive, why do they have families? Why do they get married and breed like rabbits with a bunch of kids? It's their own fault for having children, they should have known better and not had any. They don't need to do that, it's detrimental to society for us to take in all of them and I don't see why we should drown out our struggling native populations with immigrant families that shouldn't even exist. I know most refugees from the Middle East are single young men(which is suspicious and part of why some should be banned), but why should we let in the ones that are families? Why should we feel sorry for people that are trying to have offspring and stuff instead of just trying to survive on their own

I got a call from my sister Joy that she had been laid off from her job and was really going to have money problems if she did not find another job. She had heard there were job opening at my ex husband's company and she wanted me to call him and put in good word for her. My mother died giving birth to me. When my dad was sober he was ok but when he was drunk which was fairly often he best the gel out of me and tell me I killed his wife. Then when he was sober again he d be sorry and promise it would never happen again. And it wouldn't. ... Until the next time. When I was 11 i got it very bad with a l belt and his fists. My gym teacher saw bruises and the weeks when i was changing for gm the next day and sent me to the nurse who got the family resource councilor and the principal involved. Me and my old bro were put in foster care and i aged out of the system last November. I don't think he went to prison bc i never testified against him and you have the right to face your accusert Don't they typically try to reunite families? The thing was when my dad was sober had some good times. I'm trying to figure out if CPS didn't want us back together or if he didn't care enough to go to they12 steps and patenting classesn I know no body cam sat which it was in my case but what is typical.

Back when I was a child, my father was abusive to my mom and my siblings. He was emotionally, verbally, and sexually abusive. He did things to me and my sister that a father should never ever do to his own daughters. But he did a lot worse to my sister. My mother thought she could stop it on her own. My sister finally told her school. Police found out from the school. And right before they arrested my father, he called his parents telling them what happened and saying that he didn't do it(he's lying!!). He's in prison now. My mother is on probation because she knew. But anyway my father's side of the family still thinks he's innocent because he keeps lying to them whenever he was allowed to contact them. It's been 8 years! At first I didn't tell my father's side of the family what really happened because for some reason I thought they knew the truth at first. Then I realized that he hadn't told them the truth and he's saying whatever to make himself look innocent. He's even preaching the word of God at his prison! I tried to tell his parents that me and my siblings/mother would never lie on him but their response would be "your father said he loves you", "there was no evidence that he did it"(he made my siblings get rid of evidence before police got involved), etc.. I'm so frustrated because his family is so convinced that he's innocent just because he had a good history with them!! Should I just cut them off?

I had two very close cousins who were siblings my age, a boy and girl. We would hang out every single day.We went to one concert together and my girl cousin acted as if she didn't see me, and ignored me while with her other cousins and friends. That same night, her brother, my cousin, and I waited on line to get in the concert for 3 hours long. He left me on line to go to the front and went in the concert with his other friends without me. I then returned home at 3am in the morning. I let this scenario slide. We then went to a second concert together, and he said he would pick me up from my house. He never came to my house to pick me up. After finding a way to the concert, I saw him there with his other friends. His sister, my other cousin, was there and when I approached her, she said "Are you looking for someone?"However, they are nice when I go to their house privately or when they are interested in going out. My Mum is always yelling at me whether it's about my room, the house, my studies, my attitude, me not helping in the house, etc. But she yells at me as if every problem she has is my fault, I understand that I may not be the golden child, but I do try at times and she does not see, then yells at me about not doing anything. She is not physically abusing me, but I know that the verbal abuse is not right either. I have tried having a quiet respectful conversation and tell her what I am feeling. But she just yells at me saying that I am being stupid, that I am making things up, I am lying, and making things bigger than they are. I have tried this tact multiple times but it just results in more yelling. I understand that she has been through a rough childhood where she was treated much worse than me physically, verbally and mentally abused as a child and treated as a slave. Then she had worked at a call centre where she was verbally and mentally abused. This is only causing me stress, anxiety and depression. Do you guys have any good ideas on how to deal with this?

I'm 24 and live with my parents. My mom is my legal guardian cos I have autism and ad/hd. I have mild autism tho. This isn't a joke, and I'm not lying. I've came here for anwers because I feel so wothless to my mom. If my brothers talk back, they only get yelled at, but if I talk back, it's like I've killed someone. My mom slaps me, pushes me, pulls my hair, drags me by my hair, tells me she is going to kill me, grabs me by my face/neck, ect. It really hurts when she hits me. She hits me so hard it makes it sore there for about three days. One time she got really mad at me and pushed me into a heater. Luckly, it wasn't on. I hit it and fell over it and I hit the wall really hard. I also hurt my foot. After that, she grabbed me by my hair and pushed me into my brother's room. She told me she was going to kill me and I beleived her. I was scared. I wa crying so hard that I couldn't breathe. She also makes things unfair for me. My older brother stays on his video games all day and never comes out of his room. He's super addicted. But when I stay on my laptop/phone a long time, she forces me to go outside and play, even if I don't want to. At school she made me talk to people. She said if I stay at PE and sit alone again she would take my laptop and phone away for the whole week, so I was forced to play. I didn't want to play because all of my friends were in band class. Or my "friends". A few days ago my best friend left me. She told her mom and her friends all of my secrets I've ever told her. She told me I was messed up and needed help. She told me to die. My mom doesn't even care. There is also so many things I want to tell her, like about how I feel about her hurting me. I also want to tell her my secrets, but I'm afraid she won't accept me. I don't know what to do. I used to cut myself and she sent me to a hospital. She was the reason I did it. It wasn't only the bullies at school. She didn't understand how I felt, and that's why that happened, but she is still being mean to me. But this time it's worse.

I told my mom how my uncle (that we're not close to) told me my mom is going to have another baby a boy & I'm going to be stuck home, usually my mom response would be I have enough on my dish what does he know or etc., instead she said something like "how would he know you'll be home" or "what's with that & being stuck home" I said it again that he said it's time for the boy & she said "you know why his father was like that, you gotta have a boy because people think that if you have girls you're not happy you need a boy or like Asha (my neighbor) she has three boys, people tell her to have a girl they think their not happy but ITS NOT THE CASE ALL THE TIME) or something like "IT ISNT THE CASE THOUGH". it's like my mom means she's fine with three girls BUT that part of her saying "what does that have to do with you being stuck home" in other words if I did have another child what does it have to do with you being stuck home. It bothers me because it's like my mom doesn't remember me staying up until 7 in the morning helping her with my sisters, I helped more then my dad ever did that time, she used to tell me how much I helped but now it's like nothing. It was only me. I helped more then a sibling would ever help, also it seem like at the moment if she was like so what if I have another one. Although when something happened a few weeks ago I said to her please no more kids, then she's like "what are u crazy". She 41 take care of her sick father, my younger two sisters, 3 dogs

There's just been alot of difficulty in recent years and I'm a young adult just trying my best with everything(who isn't ?).. Not much else to say except I just want to make things better and in ways things have gotten better but its like... Also really insane? Either way... What have you learned and dealt with when it comes to family? I know the essentials of getting it together and I'm working on that but I mean Overall how did you go about helping yourself and standing and all?

My cousin is 13 years old he has special needs he knows what he's doing and everything just is a very slow learner is all. He always locks my dog in her cage and once I caught him almost choking her. I don't know why he does this I feel almost as if he enjoys to see animals in pain as he searches videos like that on YouTube . Could this be possibly lead to murder behavior. I haven't told his mother about it.

My grandma says, "Alright you've been doing good. Let's drive one more time tonight and we will see if you're ready to drive by yourself to work Thursday." And tonight wad the first night driving together. And on my way home, an idiot made a lane change right in front of me and I had to slam my breaks and I almost crashed into him. My brother and I never really talked, with my sister it's like a hey every now and then, but I want more. We never had a long conversation, we don't stay in the same house, they blocked me on social media, but really they are mad at our dad because he's married to my mother like can we forget about the past. They momma and my dad didn't even work. And they still mad over something we can't control. And like there angry at me like I have did something, I can't help that I was born. I'm 16 and they 18 and 20. Every one should have a bond with there siblings and that's all I'm trying to have but they wont let me, should I just stop trying to be in there lives. i'm laughing but i think it's because i'm scared as **** right now. we're in the basement on the couch, and I'm just full on plowing it from behind dude, fishhooking and other really embarrassing stuff that her mom probably ******* SAW. music is blasting, mom comes down, probably to tell us to turn it down. little does she know, i can't turn it down bc it's the only thing masking the sounds of me literally ******* her daughter. mom walks in and i guess i didn't hear her because the music was kinda loud, so by the time i turn around, i just see her mom backing out and closing the door oh my god dude thats so ******. it's so much easier to joke & say you'd "just keep going", until it actually happens. fuuuuck haha I feel like crap and her dad is like a 6'7" football coach dude lol he's gonna beat the **** out of me. how do I fix this??? I am 15, he is 11 (soon 12) and all he does is hit me/hurt me, lie to my parents to get me in trouble, says I am ugly and tries to make me feel bad about myself, and laughs really loud in my face whenever I get hurt. When I was at the store today he started playing videos with me in it and laughing loudly and saying mean stuff and told me in the car I was ugly/stupid(says all time). Then when we got home he splashed water on me so I did it back and a minute later he punched me in the back and I lost it and we both started hitting each other (I rarely hit back or do anything because my parents say I need to act my age). Later when i was going up stairs he was waiting at the top and i waited for him to move but he wouldnt so I went upstairs and he ran after me and starting hitting me with drumsticks and laughing (i was very mad but did nothing). When i was making dinner I cut myself and said ow and I cut mh finger, and he starting laughing really loud at me for 5 minutes. When he laughs i want to hit him so bad. Recently I cleaned my bathroom my sister messed up and I am so happy it is clean and everday he goes in it and spits brown stuff in the sink and throws garbage everywhere. Today he got it covered in strawberries and my parents do not care. When i get mad they say i am dramatic, but I am sick of being treated this way and I can not take it anymore. I am so close to beating him and if I do he will only do something back but worse.

Question: My 7 y/o neighbor is constantly trying to con people into buying & providing her with things that her parents do provide her with.?

For example, I had a huge problem with her making up ridiculous excuses so she could use my bathroom even though she lives about 50 feet away. The other day she tried to get me and a few other neighbors to buy her ice cream from the ice cream truck and when we wouldn't she ran home and was immediately handed money by her mother. She will pass her own house to get water off a neighbor and etc. Her brother doesn't have these issues and her parents seem normal. Has anyone heard of this?

My brother who I love is very cocky and thinks he is the center of the universe, he has his good moments with me and his bad moments. He is 6'2 and I am 5'4 and I am a guy and sometimes he makes fun of me for being a short guy and he is a total jock and I am not. I like to read and study history and I do like to workout and play sports but it's not who I am and it is what he is. Yet he is not bad either, like if someone tries to pick on me he gets really protective of me and they immediately back off but he makes fun of me all the time. He is also very good at math and he helps me with my math homework. The only things I don't like about him is that he can be very cocky and he is really bossy with me even though I don't do anything he tells me to do. I am also overweight but I am not like obese but he still gets really critical even if I drink a little bit of soda or if I eat junk food. So why does he think he can be so cocky and bossy?

Question: I just need to know what my mom by this? She says she satisfied with her girls, she thinks I'm crazy when I say will there be another baby?
