Question: Why don't girls ever want to be my friend? Posted: 30 Jun 2017 05:17 PM PDT so I'm a girl and I'm 18 years old, and I feel whenever I try and talk to other girls they never really want to be around me. Just the tone they talk to me in and their body language and facial expressions and how they act around me makes me feel that way, they never straight up say they don't like me. Guys are the opposite and always want to hang out and talk, so I don't think it's something like I just have a really annoying and unattractive personality. Because of this most of my friends are guys, but it'd be nice to have some girls to hang out with and talk to. I feel like they all see me as a weirdo joke. I guess I am a little bit of a tomboy, and I'm not anywhere near as pretty as they are, so could this be why? I always try to be super nice and don't try to judge other people, so I really don't know what it could be. I know this is a weird question, but it's kinda bothering me that most girls see me as lower and not as good as they are :/ what do I do? |
Question: Have you ever been alone but not lonely? Posted: 30 Jun 2017 05:13 PM PDT I still socialize at school, work, jiu jitsu practice. But ever since I had a falling out with a few friends, I haven't interacted with people outside of these places. In fact, I was sadder months ago when I was around these people. On another note, at least 4 of my guy friends had a huge crush on me so it's hard to be friends with them. I have zero girl friends I talk to because I am very selective and I don't like a lot of these superficial people in college. The friends I have and like went ghost or are busy. I don't care to rush and find people to bond with anymore because if I focus on myself and not others, they will come around eventually. I want friends and associates who are serious about art and music. I'm tired of smoking weed doing nothing every time I want to hang out with someone. I want to collaborate with people. I don't need drugs or alcohol: I got that out of my system before I was twenty one. I say all this to ask did valuing your career over friendship cause a tinge of loneliness in your twenties? I realized I'm not as social because I haven't been told about any get togethers. One friend of mine said that our beach group drifted. We tried to set something up but it didn't happen |

Question: Should i forgive my friend? Posted: 30 Jun 2017 03:42 PM PDT i met her in 2010. She was more popular than me. 2 months ago she publicly announced on instagram that she didnt wanna be my friend because i was uninteresting. Now she says shes sorry and wants to be my friend again. What should i do? |
Posted: 30 Jun 2017 02:09 PM PDT I am a boy and I have a foot fetish, especially for my one friend's feet. He is very dominant. If I tell him I like his feet he will probably make me his slave. I would do anything he wanted to worship his feet. Is it worth it? |
Question: Why is he being so...weird?? Posted: 30 Jun 2017 01:48 PM PDT My best friend... we'll just call him Patrick, told me today my bottom looked delicious. At first, I didn't know what he meant, but then our other friend told me Patrick asked him if he did workouts to make his bottom more shapely. I think Patrick might have some type of affinity for buttocks. I don't know if Patrick is merely admiring ours or if he wants to improve his own. It makes me feel uncomfortable when he talks about my bottom in such a manner, but Patrick and I have been best friends since kindergarten so I don't want to say or do anything that will ruin our friendship. But I really don't want him to keep saying things about my bottom. Please help?!?? |
Question: Why doesn't my friend drink with me? Posted: 30 Jun 2017 01:14 PM PDT Every time I ask her to drink with me and we go to a bar, she orders one thing or something very light while I drink a lot and something strong. One time she ordered coffee when I got a Long Island. One of our mutual friends said my friend drinks a lot and can go all night which got me to wonder why she doesn't drink at all/much with me |
Question: Teammates talk behind my back. What to do? Posted: 30 Jun 2017 12:29 PM PDT I am involved in a project and my teammates are really jealous that I am praised by the management. I noticed that they are messaging about me on their mobiles which hurts me very much. But I have a mentor who is close with the bosses - he says I need to embace this project to show that I am the senior member in the team. He is complimenting me to the management behind the scenes. My teammates only see that we are working together and get on well. My teammate started gossiping that sonething is going on between us and I heard it from him. I am really afraid that they will be doing something to harm me at work. How should I handle this situation? |
Posted: 30 Jun 2017 12:27 PM PDT She's had a very hard life, she got adopted by her mom at the age of 17. She made her pay rent the second she adopted her. My bestie needed to get a permit for driving since her circumstances in life prevented her from doing so until later. Once she got it she asked if she could drive and that she would pay for gas. Her mom told her "I have a life." and shoved it off. Her mom is Mormon, not that there's anything wrong with that. But she forced it on my bestie, making her get up at 4 in the morning to participate in the church. Made her read scriptures and even took her cellphone away on Sundays even though my bestie pays for her own phone. She had adopted another girl, she was gay. The second her mom found out she was so hateful towards her she ended up being homeless again and put back into the system. When my bestie moved out after several months, the youngest girl they adopted that still lived with them got raped and her mom didn't report it to the police. She said she was wearing spaghetti straps and basically got what was coming to her. The girl is 13. This is not all of it but these are among the worst. Am I in the wrong for telling her just because she adopts children doesn't mean she's a good person? |
Posted: 30 Jun 2017 11:33 AM PDT So i dont know what to do. Since its summer time, we wear shorts. Well, I was with my brother, we were riding bikes and there was a group of guys also on bikes, first my brother got past them and they said nothing, but when i came past them they said "Damn girl/Hey kitty" and laughed i didn t know what to say so i continued, second time was when i was walking with my friend, the same group approached us and they said "You look fine, ans so does your friend" and whistled. Except work and family, I want to stay at home for the rest of my life. I have many friends and I have stopped talking to them by switching my phone off for the last 4 days. One of them just called my mom and said he's worried and asked about me. by the way, I'm 27. I know it may seem childish but that's the only solution I think. specially since I have no features to attract opposite sex and I believe I should isolate myself till death. What should I do? |

Question: Does my friend no longer want to be friends and am I annoying? Posted: 30 Jun 2017 12:57 AM PDT I have been friend with a Japanese boy for 5 almost 6 years. Lately he hasn't been really distant and it's been like that a while now. On this app he uses he wants to talk and video message people, but he didn't tell me that and we don't know what each other looks like, and is he growing bored of me. I am actually very sensitive of my looks. I am redness from acne and am not as skinny as Japanese. |

Posted: 29 Jun 2017 11:49 PM PDT This girl got all angry at me over the littlest thing and I said "annoying" because how she got all angry at me over something that's not a big deal at all. And after my class, she was confronting me and it was just because I said annoying and it was so ridiculous. This preppy kid recorded it and posted it and I asked him to delete it and blocked me. I never had any fighting experience and she is bigger than me, any advice?? I'm worried i going to get in a fight tomorrow and embarrase my self loosing or looking dumb. |
Posted: 29 Jun 2017 11:48 PM PDT Can you get the best friend smiling face on Snapchat on a person who you only send chats to? No pictures or videos? Can they be your best friend like that with only messages? Also if I don't send the person I am chatting with any snaps, but they send me some, will the person still become one of my best friends (the smiling emoji thing)? |
Question: I really would like to become well known on Instagram? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 11:12 PM PDT 10k followers would be enough and i could build from there. But not just popularity for the hell of it. I'm a singer. Is it conceited to say I know I sing well? Well, I do haha. I also play multiple instruments so I would like people to know me for that. Also this might sound super egotistical but I'm attractive. I'm only 16 so it's not like OH SH*T SHES HAWT but yeah. I already have an aesthetic feed going on but I only have 775 followers.....not that much at all. Are there any huge tips you could give? Also, I can't reveal my personal info such as my name because I'm not supposed to have social media to begin with....super strict parents 😑 anyways. Your guidance is greatly appreciated. Not sure if I should inlcude a pic of myself or something lmao 🙏 thank you again!!❤ |
Question: Is my friend just playing me or not? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 11:12 PM PDT I went through this time where I realized all my friends were just using me to get closer to the guys I was friends with and other things....and then awhile after I dropped them I eventually started finding new friends. I became friends with this girl Jas. Literally right away we were inseparable. We hung out 24/7 and she told me like everything about her. She kept saying I was her best friend and she was telling me how awful and annoying her old one was. Then summer came. At first everything was fine but then suddenly she started ignoring me for the last 2 weeks. Her bf is gone all summer but this week I guess so idk if thats why she is ignoring me or not...but then I saw her hanging out with her "Super annoying ex friend." I dn't mean to sound paranoid but her friend told Jas that "It's not okay to just use me then ignore me when you feel bored." Her friend as well though just came back from vaca. But while she was gone Jas kept telling me she doesn't want her to come home...I don't know if I should drop her because she used me ....or if I am just paranoid because of my old friends and things that have happend. |
Question: Should I be her roommate again? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 10:39 PM PDT So my sophomore year, my roommate in my dorm (Clarissa) and I did not know each other but ended up getting along so well because we have so much in common. Junior year we were going to get an apartment but I did not know what my living situation was going to be, so I ended up living with the crappiest rooommate in the world at last minute. My past roommate Clarissa also had roommate problems. Now it's senior year and oddly enough I ended up being placed in a room with Clarissa. After finding out, she said that she's so excited for us to be roommates again. She joined a sorority (that I was interested in but I'm not exactly sure about anymore for other reasons) and every time I get on Snapchat, her sorority sisters are in her apartment. That's not bad, but they are there 24/7 and extremely loud. Even though Clarissa and I got along so well, does it sound like a good idea to be in a room with her? I'm just curious to see how other people feel about this. If you're wondering why don't I choose a different apartment, her apartment is the only one available because her roommate is moving out. |
Question: A Friend of Mine might be in trouble and idk what to do? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 10:03 PM PDT So when my friend first started hanging out with this boy, he told her that he had a condom and one night he told my friend that his parents weren't home and asked her to come over to watch a movie. Then right before school ended he tried to get into My friend's locker and hacked into her phone. Then this summer My friend told him to leave her alone and this boy went and cried to another girl and she threatened to beat my friend up. I want to tell the school, but she told me not to and she would be so mad at me. My friend needs to get out of the friendship because he's abusive and every time she tries to get away from him he gets upset at her. She hasn't talked to him all summer but he won't leave my friend or my friend group alone. I have been told by my gramma and mom to stay away from him so my other friend and i and I are going to a different table and if my friend and another girl we are friends with want to follow that's their choice. She wants him to leave her alone yet she doesn't want to do the things that will result in him leaving us alone. I am trying to stay out of it, but the things he has been doing and the threats that have been given out are weird and i am scared something is going to happen to her. There is a difference between a situation where they can figure it out themselves and a situation that can harm a friend. What should i do?? |
Question: How do I fit in/get respected at school? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 09:59 PM PDT Next year is my last year of high school and want to have good friends for that year. I want people to reconsider me because I hang out with people that most people find weird which makes me look weird. The only reason I'm friends with them is because I'm too intimidated to be with the ones that are popular. Everytime I meet a new group of people, I feel really uncomfortable and judged by them. How do I make myself feel that I'm worthy enough to not be in the losers anymore? Btw I'm not saying that I want to change who I am, I mean I want to change the way I meet people because I'm sure there's plenty of people I could be friends with but I'm just too shy. I feel like I can't say anything. I also have a fear of hanging out with new people is that I figure skate (I'm a guy) and pretty much nobody knows, if they would find out, idk how it would turn out... so it scares me. I'm even scared to go to the arena because I feel like people from my school will see me. So I don't want to be the one getting laughed at but the that gets to laugh with them |

Question: How can I have a great 4th of July again? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 08:01 PM PDT I'm a 19 year old guy. The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. Always has been. I always loved watching the Nathan's hot dog eating contest, grilling burgers and hot dogs, and of course, setting off fireworks with the family. Sometimes going to the beach show. The best 4ths were when I was a kid. My family usually had a party with the best fireworks and food. I've found myself unable to top the years past and I want a great 4th again. I can't go back. Also, I work this year. It's my dream job, so I'm fine with it. I get the evening off. I can record the hot dog contest. My family will have to take over the grill for me. Any idea on how to have a great 4th again? |
Posted: 29 Jun 2017 06:27 PM PDT Four or five days ago I was on Facebook and I saw three similar pictures (of a Facebook page) of this girl in pose. She had a jersey (it looks like a light pink) and a jeans. I found the name on the few comments (by a girl in particular) and, after searching for it, I accidentally delete the history and I have not found her anymore. I've tried everything but I can not. I just remember that her surname is Rodriguez, the name should be short. The girl has short black hair, usually wavy hair. It has a dark skin, it should have freckles. It has almond eyes, a delicate face and a mouth not too fleshy. She's is also very lean. Please help me if you know her and thanks to who will do it! :) |
Question: Give me some advice here...? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 06:18 PM PDT I have a friend who's a little shy, and I think i might be her only friend..she's very quiet and doesnt get along with other kids. Probably bc she has a really dark sense of humor and makes jokes that, while they're funny, shouldnt really be joked about. Recently she told me towards the end of next year, shes gonna bring a rifle to school and shoot everyone, along with bombing the school. I brushed it off as a joke, in the back of my head thinking "that's a lot darker than usual, whatever" but the other day she invited me over and showed me guns and weapons she has, along with maps of the school, bombs and hidden materials and propane/gas in her room..then she completely seriously asked "Are you gonna do this with me, or no?" and i said "Ill think about it"...I dont want her to be arrested, she hasn't done anything yet and who knows, she might not do anything. What should I do? |
Question: Is it weird to give my bro (best friend in this case) a birthday gift.? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 05:42 PM PDT |
Question: My child wants to remain friends with a thief, how should I handle this? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 05:39 PM PDT My son made friends with a boy who is one of our neighbors. My son is 6 and the boy is 7. The boy has repeatedly attempted to steal toys from my son. For example: the first time he met him, he attempted to steal a dinosaur toy but my son caught him putting it in his pocket. Every time, the boy comes up with a lie or excuse as to why he had it in his pocket or why he was taking it usually along the lines of "it fell in his pocket," or "oops, I forgot to give it back." My boyfriend even witnessed the boy conning our son into a distraction and saw him put a toy in his pocket. My boyfriend called him out on it telling him not to steal from us. The last straw for us was when he took our son s favorite toys: a fidget spinner. It disappeared while the two boys were playing outside. The next day, our son asked him about it and the boy says that he saw an 11 year old take it and he tried to chase him but his mom said that he couldn t go chase after him. The boy was obviously lying but my son just cannot seem tear away from this boy. He loves being his friend despite the fact that he witnessed him trying to steal and that my boyfriend witnessed it. My boyfriend wants our son to stop hanging out with him so we ve cut off the contact. However, I feel like we should let our son learn his lesson and let all his toys disappear until he realizes how poisonous someone like this kid is. Do you guys agree with my boyfriend or me? Or do you have a different suggestion? Help! |
Question: How to not involve myself in drama around old friend? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 04:38 PM PDT After some pretty big signs that were thrown my way from my friend, we had an argument about the way she treats me and ultimately ended up in not talking to each other. She texted me later trying to fix things, but I called the whole best friend thing off and just wanted to be simply friends. I didn't feel like I could really depend on her, and so she agreed. I knew she had been suffering a little so I did try and ask how her day was. But she she got upset at the fact I kept trying to act "too nice" and said we should just talk to other people. I just agreed, because it wasn't really that big of a deal if that is what she wanted. But during school she'd normally talk about me and make it obvious she was directing it to me. Then another day she'd talk to me when we were alone and try and make conversation. Other times she'd go to me for guidance, and then the next just completely blow me off. I don't know if she was still hurt by this? Right before school ended, I told her she looked amazing at the ceremony since I genuinely thought that just to kind of break down tension. I've put it behind me but I don't know how she's doing. I don't want things to be dramatic when I go to school next year, cause I will most likely have classes. Anything I should do/remember/focus on? |
Question: How do I stop hating my best friend? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 04:19 PM PDT I was best friends with this girl all through college and even though she's the best person I know, I also hate her. And I hate that I hate her. In college, I was jealous of how pretty she was and how much guys noticed her. I've always been jealous of everything she has.. her wardrobe, her other friends, her family, how much she travels.. After college I was jealous that she actually got her degree and I didn't. Now I'm jealous that she has a career and moved off to New York City to start a new life. She left me in our small hometown in Alabama. I've ALWAYS felt like I've lived in my best friends shadow and it kills me inside. I know I shouldn't feel like way, but sometimes I wish she would fall flat in her face. Has anyone ever experienced being low key jealous of their bestie? |

Question: Why does my friend still view me as a little girl...? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 03:43 PM PDT She's five years older than me and I'm still in high school at 15 years of age. I've known her for years and she's seen me as a socially awkward, anxious, and sensitive when she first met me in 6th grade. I've completely changed so much now. She still acts like I'm all innocent and childlike sometimes even though she knows I'm not. When I tell showed her videos of girls my age dancing (or more like twerking and belly shaking?) she just laughed really hard as if it's really funny. During my childhood, we used to pretend we were sisters. To this day she still thinks I'm the "little" sister. I don't mind it at all, but it seems to me as if college students will look at high schoolers as "little wannabe adults" who can't drink or go to bars until we are 19 (because we're Canadians). |

Question: I need major friend advice.? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 03:30 PM PDT So we used to be best friends but then she ditched me and for other friends. Then it turned out they hated her and now she wants to be my best friend again. We are the perfect fit and we get each other, but she hurt me really bad. I feel like I shouldn t hang out with her sometimes. |
Question: Can two people of opposite genders and similar attractiveness be "just friends"? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 03:05 PM PDT So I've been friends with a girl who I find reasonably attractive for about 2 years. One night when we were both quite drunk (not beyond comprehension or understanding of possible repercussions) we started kissing and one thing led to another. Anyway, we decided to still be friends after, however, the friendship just feels "stale" after it happened. There is no element of awkwardness about it at all. For this reason, I'm wondering if most friendships consisting of who are reasonably attracted to eachother (straight or gay) are fueled by ane element of sex drive? without us even knowing just to clarify, I didn't mean is it possible to be friends. what I was getting at is, are friendships of these types fueled by a very slight desire for sex whether it be sub conscious or not, even if neither of you intend on anything happening and even if it dosnt? |
Question: Does this count as betrayal..? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 02:41 PM PDT Hello. I just want your own opinion on the matter.. If you had a two piece necklace and told a friend about giving one half to them after a huge argument, but then later changed your mind and talked about how you didn't want to be that close or do things best friends would and they agreed. Is it right for them to get upset if you give share that necklace with someone else? |
Question: Would it be wrong to preemptively during its my friends to my birthday party? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 02:25 PM PDT Longvstory short, my birthday is a painful time for me. My wife cant stand that idea and wants to give me a "happy birthday". I appreciate the thought, but there's just to much damage there to be fixed. I tried to tell her that but she won't be dissuaded. She keeps talking about the party she's going to throw and I'm losing sleep due to my anxiety over the issue. I've talked to her but she tells me I'm being silly and keeps on planning. Would it be wrong of me to tell my friends what's up and ask them to decline the invite (they all know how I feel about birthdays)? |
Question: Is it rude my neighbor doesn t wave back to me? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 02:14 PM PDT It s actually 2 neighbors that never wave back. They definitely see me and just turn away or act busy. They are part of a clique of about 6 women in my neighborhood. I m not part of their clique but I m friendly with everyone. They are also fb friends, they sent me the friend requests like 2 years ago. Should I unfriend them and stop waving to them? It can t be that hard to wave back. |
Question: Is it right for my friend to make me pay for gas when we are going to the same place? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 01:29 PM PDT Me and my friend play high school hockey together, and the rink is 40 minutes away, and hes making me pay for gas since hes driving me, but were going to the same place, hes not going out of his way, and he doesnt even pick me up at my house, i drive 10 minutes to his house and we leave from there, and he makes me pay for half the tank |
Question: Why are my friends not like me sometimes? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 01:20 PM PDT Sometimes I m lost in my own world while my friends are joking around. My best friend isn t like me anymore. Sometimes I m wild and fun while other times I m deep and poetic. Or sometimes I think of the perfect way to fall in love. I want friends like this but I can t find any that will stay in one mixed perfect friend group. What do I do |
Posted: 29 Jun 2017 01:18 PM PDT I think society fears what they cannot understand. Why do you think people hate math? They hate to be humbled and math can certainly do that to anyone. Loners are strong, independent people and thus cannot be controlled. Loners need no one to be happy. This is troubling to society. What are your thoughts? |

Question: How to be the one everyone likes? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 01:02 PM PDT So I'm 14 turning fifteen soon and I'm entering highschool (9th grade). I've never been the one to have many friends except at my old school. When I went to 8th grade to a new school, I had absolutely NO friends at all and I'm not exaggerating either. Sure their was a a couple people here and there who I would say hi to etc... But no one I would actually consider a friend. I'm not good at holding conversations and making new friends either. I'm afraid I won't have any friends in highschool this year so I want to know how to be the person everyone likes and that person who has a lot of friends. I just don't want to be lonely this school year. |

Question: Best friend keeps asking for money? Posted: 29 Jun 2017 12:42 PM PDT My best friend hasn't worked for three years really. She gets a job and quits 2 weeks later. She had an inheritance, she spent it all in two years. Now she's evicted, living with her grandma. She claims she has a job but I'm sure it's a lie. She owes me a ton of money and keeps asking for more. I haven't given her any since what she owes me is enormous. I'm not sure how to get her to pay it back. |
