I have joined Best Buddies but I don t go to the events they throw because of people. Not trying to say there bad people but I guess I don t like being social. I didn t go to my high school prom. Since I did not get out of my car and came right back home I drove barefoot and did not bring my shoes. We have a test coming up, so my teacher gave us a study sheet. I misplaced mine, and since she was in the same class, I asked her to send me a pic of the sheet. She said no, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding because she thought I asked her to give me her sheet. We cleared that up and laughed it off. She never agreed to send it to me, so in class (with her next to me) I asked another classmate for the sheet. I jokingly said "I need someone to send me a picture of their sheet because M won t give it to me." Upon hearing this my friend completely exploded on me. She said she was "tired of me twisting her words" and that if I ever did that again she would never talk to me. I feel like this was a overreaction because I m the type of person who is pretty much always joking. I know that she knew this because we ve been friends for a pretty decent amount of time and this isn t the first time I ve made jokes (especially since it was just about something she previously laughed at). Our lockers were always next to each other, and he would throw his stuff at me, stole some things in my locker, and slammed my locker on my fingers. Eventually, the principal found out what was going on and my locker was moved away from him. He instantly tried to spread a rumor that the whole thing was my fault, but nobody bought it. Back then, I was way better at taking his taunts. I just didn't respond, and that worked out alright for the most part. This year I've been doing the same thing, but now he taunts me about what he thinks my political views are, and how I was a wimp for moving lockers. In addition, a little while ago he bothered my friend although that was very brief. I am struggling to ignore him because I get so so angry at him. I hate that he bothered my friend like that when I wasn't around to defend her (although she is one of the strongest people I know and could hold her own) and I can't stand him telling me what my political views are, or that stuff he did was my fault. I hate that he makes me second guess my decisions or makes me dread being in class with him. I'm getting worse and worse at taking it, and while I know my friend who got teased by him would defend me, my other friend has stood by and watched it happen, and sometimes laughs at the jokes he makes at my expense. However a month or two ago had an argument on the way she treated me and how I hated it. She agreed and we were both okay, but then she started acting weirdly around me like I was some complete stranger, and then tell me about her problems the next day. Today she decided to tell me that we shouldn't invest time in each other and stop talking like we were friends, and I just willingly agreed because I'm about tired of her bull. However, I'm unsure of how I should act if she tries to talk to me or anything. The program he was looking at fell through and he started looking at mine, ultimately deciding that he wanted to go on this one instead. He then later asked to be my roommate and I said yes, as I am bad at telling people no. The more I think abut it, the more I really don't want to room with this person as every time we talk, he makes me feel stupid, is prone to mood swings and in general is bad with large groups of people which is something I want to experience when I travel on my weekends. I'm afraid he's going to hold me back when I want to go and explore and generally make this experience bad. How can I let him know that I don't want to be roommates without completely demolishing our friendship? My alternate plan would be to go random for a roommate. This is an English university, simply in a different country so language wouldn't be an issue. The way the dorms are set up (like an apartment), I'm thinking that I could propose that we could be in the same apartment, however have different roommates. Unfortunately, in response to another responder, while I know that being roommates doesn't mean being attached at the hip, he does believe that. He has never been out of the country before and plans to follow me around for guidance. He's even going to be in one of the classes I am taking. |

Posted: 06 Mar 2017 11:28 PM PST We know a decent amount about each other(maybe talk too much), she(a minor) even calls me(age 27) a friend, at work we make a great team, and get our job done. She was having a difficult time with school and missing home where she use to live. I got her some flowers to cheer her up because her Grandma died and the other problems I mentioned. She thanked me and everything was normal. But she still seemed out of it a week later and so I asked her if I could give her a hug. We did, talked about her missing home, and I asked her if she ever wants to hang out let me know. Then she started not talking to me and I kept watch on it. She seemed fine with everyone else. So it was me. So I asked her questions like if she was mad at me(said no), and why she seems so distant. She replied with, "I don't know". About 2 weeks go by and she is the same. So I just ask why the way she is around me. Tells me she is uncomfortable with me. I ask why? Cause of the day we hugged she said. So I panicked a bit trying to figure out why and was telling her that I wouldn't cross the line and other things. So a week goes by where I had more time to think and I talk to her. I just wanted to know why the hug made her uncomfortable and she wouldn't give me a answer. I was apologizing to her and she is wondering why I'm even doing that. I even told her that I wasn't asking her out and she knew that. Rest of description in photo. |
| Question: Is this a healthy relationship? Posted: 06 Mar 2017 10:02 PM PST I found out my best friend hooked up with a freshman (my bestie and I are seniors) and it started with viola lessons. They've been getting it on for quite a while now. She has visited planned parenthood a couple of times because of a pregnancy back in November... R the ages weird? Right now they are 17 & 14 but both will age before the school year is over... I try my best to stay out of the relationship but it's really weird. |

We kept bugging him about how he trash talks then plays with him afterwards. So i pointed out today that my friend that was giving scrap to my other friend was playing with the guy we trash talked, now there all triggered cause i pointed it out. here "roasting" me so what should i do? make peace or what? We are in dental school together and have almost every class together. I treat this person like family and have helped her out in so many situations in the past. Theres a situation where she thinks I lied to hurt or sabotage her and she won't believe me no matter what I say. I have always helped her out but she won't think about those times and just thinks I went behind her back which I would never. She is always posting stuff on Twitter and Instagram about people being fake, not having a good heart like she does, stabbing her in the back, and I know she's talking about me. I don't want to lose this friendship but its been 2 months and she won't even talk to me and just ignore me in class. My boyfriend and I just broke up and I don't want to see another relationship break. I don't want the friendship to end badly and have any negative feelings between us but I don't know what to do to get her to listen. It hurts to see her, should I just accept this is try to move on? How? She's my best friend and my only friend. |

Posted: 06 Mar 2017 08:22 PM PST recently, i feel like my dad is very irresponsible and not caring. he does not take the blame for something he does what so ever, and he has someone else to blame. whenever i argue or am upset about something, my dad has no idea, and doesnt bother asking. then he makes it even worse for me when he tells me something i really do not want to hear when im upset or arguing with someone. one time he took away my phone when i was texting my friend about this problem i really disliked in our friendship and my dad said,"stop going on the phone so much!" but i said "im texting my friend something important." but he did not care what-so-ever. then after a few mins my dad takes away my phone, and i say, you dont' even know what's going on." then that's when he was curious, but i just told him my friend and i had some problems and he immediately thought i was getting bullied. i told him im not, and the problem has already been solved. and when i was having so kind of panic attack when going to school, he said, "just go to school, stop being lazy." and I've mentioned being afraid of going to school many times while in the house. he does not understand nothing at all. i tried talking to him but he would always change the subject or talk to someone else. i feel like every time i try to confront him he doesn't give a crap about what i have to say. so i stopped telling him things that go on. i feel that i can never talk to him about something important. he is so focused on friends and God, he has zero time for his family. i think we are gradually drifting away. i started talking back more, getting more frustrated and angry at him. and with my mom, i can never talk to her either. she doesnt give a crap. and if she ever listens, she always says, "there's nothing I can do about it." LIKE CAN U AT LEAST TRY TO BE COMFORTING?! my family is so corrupted. i think there has not been a day without arguing and anger. what should i do, because obviously talking about this ain't going to do anything. |

It was fun cause I felt like a adult. Or how you see in the movies where the parents drop their kids at school. So I told her "have fun at school!" | Question: I Don't Have Any Friends? Posted: 06 Mar 2017 07:48 PM PST So I'm 15 and I've had the chance to make some friends but it always gets awkward because I don't know what to say. Two years ago, I had a crush on this guy (still kind of do) and I'm sure he liked me back, he tried to talk to me but I was too shy so I just avoided talking to him. I hate how I act so dumb sometimes. Now I'm sure he got over me. I see my classmates on social media going to beaches, parties, and even vacations with each other and I get sad because I know I won't be doing that anytime soon. I never go to homecoming parties or games either. Some people say it's just fine to do things by yourself, but it gets boring after while. I have "friends" I sit with at lunch but we don't have many things to say to each other, I tried to invite them out and they say "sure" but they never plan it out. I'm so bored at home all day after I come back from school. Everyone says highschool is your best life "experience" but so far I'm just lonely and doing homework. I also like to dress trendy and wear makeup, so I guess most people wouldn't think I'm the "quiet" and "lonely" type. I just want to be a normal girl who's having fun, but I don't know what to do. |
