So, let me give you the rundown. I'm a 14 year old boy and am in 8th grade. I like this guy. Here's my biggest issue though, I don't know if he's gay or not. He says he's straight, but most people in 8th grade don't boast about being gay. He knows I'm gay though (everyone does, I'm out) so I'm not sure if he's gay, but he's pretty fruity. (He doesn't were makeup or anything girlish, he's like that cool type of fruity). Now, I have really bad social anxiety at school so I have trouble talking to him. He's popular, on the football team, funny, (the usual). I just kinda wanna hang with him. It's not like he doesn't notice me or anything. I flinch really easy, so he's always fake hitting me to make me flinch (but in a nice joking, buddy like way) but that's pretty much all I interact with him. He athletic strong and popular. But because I flinch so easily and am super weak, plus the fact I'm always embarrassing myself in gym, I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm a total puss. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a total nerd or anything. I'm quite popular myself, I'm just not really up there with his crowd. I don't have social anxiety outside of school though (I only have it in school cause I was bullied a lot in elementary) but I can't ask him to hang out, because... that's just weird, we're not freinds like that. What should I do?

I recently broke up with my ex because I was no longer happy. He was selfish and it was as if the happiness switch in the relationship was all based off of how he felt and his availability. We live only 15mins apart but only see each other once a week, we only went places that he wasALREADY going to and somehow I felt like I was nothing but arm candy - someone for him to show off that with and prove to others that he wasn't the loser people think he is. He has self esteem issues, anger deep inside due to his childhood and how he was treated. He never encouraged me, in a joking way saying things to put me/others down because he felt he was the best of the best. He expressed his insecurities due to his size. He's not fat but he is bigger in size and he had bad relationships with trashy girls in the past, also several times when he would meet up with girls he met over tinder, some of them turned away after seeing him in person (his size). Well, I hadn't been happy for a while but after things started getting worse and after all my friends told me that this dude did nothing but suck all the joy and happiness out of me, because he's not a fun person to hang out with whereas I'm always having fun and just enjoying a good laugh. I'm working on my 4th degree and he doesn't even have 1 degree. Because he works in a large firm, drives a new SUV and makes 6 figures, he looks down upon people and feels hes so much better.

My best friend is running away due to child abuse. She wants me to go with her, and her act seems pretty convincing. This gives me time to escape some things I d rather not talk about, and some time to focus on writing my music and books. Any advice?

The other day my husband came home with a plate . I simply asked where it came from. He shut me down and said what's the deal with me asking. A girl made him breakfast and they do that a lot at work so drop it. A couple of months ago he came home and there were women's shoes in his car. Same response. Then he lied and said they were his moms. Next day they were in the trash and he said they were from an ex before we dated. Then he asked why I didn't just trust him. I mean am I not allowed to ask why there are women's shoes in his truck? Every time something like this happens he acts like I'm a terrible person for even asking. I'm starting to feel insane.

We broke up 11 months ago now, but have seen each other about 4 times since. We did sleep together, which was a bad idea. He still wants to hold my hand and cuddle and kiss me on my forehead, like you would in a couple, but he doesn't want a relationship, I don't think. He's a bit of a loner and said he hasn't even been looking for anyone else. He says he is getting older though (33), but doesn't put effort into a relationship. I told him that I want to move forward now, but he has contacted me since. The last time he said I look nice in my picture. We haven't seen each other in over 3 months now. Clearly he doesn't love me or he would be with me, so why does he want to be intimate with me and cuddle all night? He got really upset when I started talking about some guy at work (who's a friend), but never says he wants me back. If sex is all he wants just go out and take some girl home then. I have this teacher who I normally get along with. I normally pay attention, show respect, and do what I'm asked. The only problem is that I'm really shy and awkward sometimes. Today I wasnt paying attention while she was speaking for five minutes. I was doing my work. When she called out the people not listening to her and asked us to look up. And I did, I stopped what I was doing and gave her the attention I should of gave her in the first place. But the thing was she was giving me this really irritated look and was just staring at me. It made me really uncomfortable so after several seconds I broke the eye contact and looked down. That really offended her, and she told me off... I wasn't trying to disrespect her. Do you think she hates me now? I don't know what to do...

I'm 18 and I'm getting one of those realistic looking baby dolls soon. I've had two miscarriages- one in 2015 and one in 2016. I've been feeling like getting a realistic doll would help comfort me as I'm still upset over losing my babies. I told my boyfriend- the father of both- about the dolls and that I want one to comfort me, and he said he'll buy one for me, but he also said it was weird and creepy. Ever since he said that, I've felt very embarrassed to even want one. Is he right about them being weird and creepy and should I be embarrassed about wanting one... Adoption is very long and very expensive. We don't have that kind of money. I'm not against adoption, and i would love to adopt, but I want to be able to carry my own baby, I want to feel what it feels like to carry my own, I want to go thru childbirth. Women have told me they're pregnancy and childbirth stories and how it feels, but I still want to feel it for myself. I felt like the realistic doll would help me until I was ready to try for another baby with my boyfriend

I am almost 21 years old and am mistaken for being under 18 often. I am almost finished with my junior year in college and will be student teaching a year from now. It's frustrating because an elderly woman thought I was in middle school, and everyday at work customer dismiss me and ignore me because I look "too young" and some have outright said so. It certainly is an obstacle when it comes to my capabilities. What are your suggestions?

The power went out where I 'm living, and I have nothing to eat. My aunt's daughter went out to buy something to eat at McDonalds, but no one called me on my phone when I went to my appointment to see my therapist, and asked if I wanted anything. My mother said she thought of me, but said I did not eat burgers. I eat veggie burgers, but not beef burgers. I do eat meat, just seafood. I was really upset that I did 'nt get anything. My mom said it's not her fault. I asked my other aunt if she could take me to get something to eat, and she said the street lights were out. My aunt who I'm living with said a real adult would goes in there and fixes themselves something to eat, and not complains about me. My aunt cannot talk. She does not cook all the time, and goes out to buy whatever she wants to eat, or eat frozen meals. I was told I could eat cereal, a sandwich, tuna, fruit, a salad.

So this morning. I got the chance to drop off a friend at school. It was fun cause I felt like a adult. Or how you see in the movies where the parents drop their kids at school. So I told her "have fun at school!" And since I'm gonna drop my friend off the rest of this week. I wanna have something to say.
