We didn't have an argument or anything like that, it's just my big group of friends only ever talk about anime and I get really bored when I'm with them. My other friend lies a bunch. She says she has this disease that makes her kill people, tries to be creepy (and fails) a lot, is TOTALLY convinced Creepypastas are real, and once even wrote smutty stories about one of our friends (it wasn't even good)- I could go on, but you get the point. We're going into seventh grade, MIDDLE SCHOOL, and I want to get some new friends. The second chick will be easy to avoid because she's not going to be in most of my classes but still. I am filing for divorce Monday morning from that control freak of a husband. About a month later I got a call from Al. Helen had kicked him out of the house. Al wanted me to call Helen and tell her he was drunk when he told me he didn't want other men around his wife and that he did not mean it. I don't know if he meant it but he was NOT drunk. I was never directly told why she and her family moved but I knew it was because of some problems. And I knew that she did not want to move at all. She was definitely affected by it, and I honestly think she still is. But I can't keep but thinking that it affected her much more than she is saying. She really truly changed. She started cussing, she got a boyfriend (who is defiantly not good influence), she has good friends but they are always filled with drama which she has told me stresses her out and pisses her. She's become more colder, and the best friend that I had suddenly became a different person. But I was kind of a bully to her and her family I guess you can say that. Anyway one day she ended the friendship by using her brother to tell me that we couldn t be friends anymore. Posted: 12 Jul 2016 01:28 PM PDT I'm 17 yrs old n I'm in highschool. i changed schools last year for some family issues but that doesn't seem much relevant. alright, in this new school, i didn't make any friends but till now I've had lots n lots of helping hands from the fellow students and i myself provided some, nobody tried to befriend me and i didn't want to make friends either, a 'whatever happens, happens' like thinking. but there's this one guy who once gave me a few anime cartoons after i moved and i gave him some great great pc games in return. i loved the anime cartoons(naruto, fairy tail, attack on titan etc.) and his laptop couldn't run those games so he decided to store the games. now, just because he gave me anime, he thinks i owe him friendship. he thinks that i have no other friends at all (i had in my old school, i don't have any here and I'm also not feeling alone). he's disturbing, annoying, pursuing and overall, he's gotten himself into a total one sided friendship. i was also a bit silly back then, he said "we're brothers" i said yes absent mindedly. well, i must've been an easy prey too. in this one sided friendship, he's the one who thinks he's my friend. i don't care if it's literally mean or not but i want him to stop trying to befriend me. my silliness back then is what made all this. literally, i won't even attend his funeral if he dies. help me get rid of this jerk |

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 01:09 PM PDT So I m having a sleepover tomorrow night with two of my bestfriends (2 of us are 16 and the other is 15) and we are having it at my house. In the past we ve always done sleepovers at my house because it s the biggest and my mom would always take us to the movies and buy lots of snacks and take us places/out to eat, etc. But, recently my stepdad and mom split up so we moved to a townhouse. The townhouse is small and we don t have cable/Netflix/wifi anymore. We moved about a month ago and we ve been pretty tight on money so my mom won t be able to do all the things she used to do for us, and I completely understand that. It s just that both of my friends are well off and have a lot of money whereas now, I don t. I feel almost embarrassed that they re coming to sleepover at a townhouse becuz we don t have a lot of money and they do. I was thinking about switching the sleepover to one of their houses but it s one night before the sleepover and I don t know if that seems too late to change it or not. Any advice at all would be nice |

She parties almost every week and gets really drunk and I'm trying to help her stop and she always says it's her last time but it isn't. She hangs with her other friend group but they don't even care about her. They left her multiple times but recently they left her drunk on a beach filled with people on the Fourth of July after she asked them to wait for her. They are also extremely racist. She knows they're bad and have an influence on her to drink but she never stops being friends with them even after they've betrayed her so many times. She says it's just her being "loyal" but I don't know what to do anymore because I care for her and her health. |

I've been "friends" with her (her name is Emily) for about 3 years, we've been close.. But I noticed this summer that I'm THE ONLY ONE who contacts Emily for hangouts. She never contacts me unless I contact her! I feel like she doesn't even want to hang out anymore. I've tried giving her hints here and there, hoping she'd ask me what's wrong.. But instead, she just replies "Okay?" like the idiot she is. Emily's not even a real friend. She makes fun of me, hurts me sometimes as a "joke", doesn't take real conversations seriously, and isn't loyal. We're always having arguments over the stupidest things and I honestly don't think it's gonna work out anymore. What's a mature way to contact Emily? I don't want to straight up be aggressive or anything towards her, I just want to act professional while I can express my feelings. Thanks in advance. |

The guy said he was making a mockery of their message. He offered a BLM shirt. My friend said no thanks. My friend told him he was going to come tomorrow anyway. The guy said if he came wearing that shirt, the group would make him feel unwelcomed and that he should go protest native american rights somewhere else. Is this right? |

I've hung out with some of his friends (not all) a few times but we aren't super close or anything. my boyfriend and I have been hanging out a lot since its summer and his friends are mad that he's spending more time with me. I first noticed it when it was the last week of school and they said something like "bros before hoes" but he continued with our conversation. then one of his friends jokingly made an Instagram posting of a picture of them hanging out, saying they all missed hanging out with him and wish I didn't steal him from them. I took it as a joke obviously and then all his friends started commenting on pictures with him saying they want him back. I took that jokingly too. one day we were with a group of people and one of his friends said I changed him and that I'm stealing him from them and I just don't want them to think I'm doing it intentionally or changing him. I talked to him about it kind of and he said its his decision who he hangs out with so if he hangs out with me and they get mad it's not my fault. but considering the fact that these people are kind of my friends or at least were, how can I get them to stop disliking or being mad at me? |

For example: I tell her I can't do anything today because I'm busy, "I'm SO sorry for asking!" and as soon as I get just little bit irritated she treats it like I'm going to f-ing kill her. "I'm sorry! I understand if you're angry and don't want to be my friend anymore. I am ready for the consequences of my actions!". I always try to be positive, by telling her she did nothing wrong and doesn't have to apologize but she continues anyway. I really like her and have nothing against her but when she over reacts like this, it really gets under my nerves. |

My friend Amber is so nice with talking to new people and carrying on conversations.... I'm more to myself and introverted...I think that could be a reason. Is there some secret to being good at conversations. I don't even know how I have the 5 friends I have know...I'm closer to my friend Mariah than there rest because she's like me. I can't even carry out a good conversation online. I play this online game called Meez. You can make your own avatar and go around to place...It's hard for me to talk on there so when someone talks to me I kind of freeze up and give those "oh cool" "that's nice" answers and when I do try to carry on a conversations it's those "favorite animal,movie,color questions. I tried to go find my "bestfriend because she had been posting really nasty things indirectly about me and my friend on her second Instagram account. I tried to brush it off and give her space. A week later I heard rumours going around that she had smoked pot. I am super against drugs and I thought we both were. When I asked her about it she said that I pushed her towards it because of our fight and she said she'd never do it again and that she thinks my other friend a "replacing" her and she's really mean to them for no reason. She makes me feel like I'm the one doing wrong. She gets angry when I hang out with other people... But I feel happier. She keeps posting indirect really really nasty things about me on her account and she's proceded to block me. Was I doing something wrong?? |

When she was with her boyfriend I would always give her endless advice and help her when they "broke up" only to get back together numerous times later. She even complains about her friends who treat her poorly, yet on social media, she calls them her best friends. She messages me many many times. If I don't respond on text, she will message me on snapchat, if not, she will message me on Instagram about the little things: "ugh this happened, do you know how I should talk to them"? "Yesterday I fell and scraped my arm" "idk which movie to watch" Or she would message me about her friends and still end up going back to them. Should I make myself less available? |

I look so much prettier and happier in my old pictures of me when i was thinner. I'm 23 and I'm not sure what thr F happened cuz i never started eating like a pig. Anyway i have always loved the idea of having a cute, bubbly and childlike personality with lots of energy. My natural personality is actually kind of like that but at my current weight i feel like that would be cringey and awkward... And come across as me trying too hard. When i picture my skinnier self being that way it seems more natural and not as out of place.. Please answer honestly. Would i be cringey if a chubby girl was super energetic, bounchy, bubbly and childlike? |
