I have the sweetest boyfriend but he is just not smart at all. I asked if he knew what JFK stood for, and nothing. I asked if he knew who Cleopatra was, and nothing. When I asked him about the months he had to go down on his fingers to know which one came next. And as for spelling it is horrible! He spells beautiful as "bueytful," sleep as "sleap," he cant even spell "Ms." . I feel rude but it's also kind of embarrassing having to explain simple things to him.

I have been best friends with this guy since the beginning of high-school. I was pretty naive, and thought he was ok with just being friends. I found out about six months into our friendship that he was into me. In the middle of high-school, he started dating my best girl friend, so I assumed he was over me. They broke up about a year later. After they broke up, she went a little crazy. Fast forward a couple of months, and my guy friend tells me that he wants to date me. I told him no, since he dated my best friend. He wouldn't give it up though. He went off to college and called me frequently. We had normal conversations but he started flirting more. I tried to reduce contact. Over winter break, he wanted to hang out, but I was hesitant. I went to a couple of campfires with him and a group of friends but that was it. Before he went back to school, we were at a campfire and he kissed me. I was annoyed since he knew where we stood. I talked to him less and only saw him a few times after. He still mentioned being in a relationship with me, and I still said no. I found out recently that while we were in high-school, he told everyone that I slept with him. The final straw was when I recently went to a small party. He drank heavily, and kept trying to get me drunk and make a move on me. I guess it hurt a lot to realize that he might only want me for my body. I just stopped talking to him and I didn't explain why. Was I wrong to cut him out of my life? Thanks for any answers.

I went on a date with a guy I like, we have been talking for a couple weeks now. The date seemed to have gone really well, and he asked me when I was free for another date and asked where I would like to go. A few days later he asked me again where I'd like to go, so I took that as him wanting another date. Typically he would initiate conversations but would also be the one to end them. So I occasionally started them because I didn't want to be a bother. For the past couple days he did a 180 and is hardly showing any interest. He was short when I tried to talk to him, and didn't seem to want to talk. Why is he turning cold so quickly if nothing necessarily bad happened between us? Okay so this guy I've known for about 2 yrs and he just started doing odd things about 6 months ago that made me wonder if hes just a nice guy and im reading way too much or if he feels more besides platonic. Hes has a long time GF who according to him, he has no intention to propose to soon.. Ive been noticing little things like how he only uses a sweet nickname with me within the last 6 months. He teases me and makes me laugh constantly. If i need help with something, he jumps to help. Our conversations are deep. (religion, sex, past hardships, goals, dreams, etc.). when ive been tight for cash he bought my lunch without even asking and offerred to give me some $$ to make it to the end of the week. This weirded me out as i am hugely independent. A bet had me keeping the 20 per his insistance. We've bonded over japanese anime (im a huge fan and so is he) we've gone to the gym together in a group and when he is in a group with setting he acts different, more uncomfortable. the last time we went to the gym together in a group he looked awkward. I noticed it when he was spotting me during a few sets of a particularly heavy squat. Last details: we are both in our 20's. he treats the women in my job differently. this guy i like used to be nice to me, but now he became so mean and like rasict it seems like. Its about 2 months after all the fighting and drama is over, and we havent had contact at all til this week. We've been dating for 2 years and we're both 20yo. He's usually a good boyfriend, and we love each other a lot. A few days ago we were at his place and nobody else was home, he was very drunk and we were making out, but I wasn't really in the mood for sex. He was on top of me and we were both half naked, I told him to stop, he kept kissing me, I said firmly that I wasn't in the mood for sex and tried to push him away, he held both my hands above my head, and told me that I had no choice. I got really scared because after that he fingered me, and I started screaming, but then he let me go, and I spent the rest of the night crying. He hurt my wrists, I have bruises. I'm really struggling with the fact my girlfriend is moving 4 hours away. I don't know what to do! I know she has been planning this move for a while now, but it's hard. Where she is moving she has a lot of family. She went for a visit this past weekend, and she hardly had time to talk me when she was up there. She went up friday, and came back Tuesday moring. We hardly talked them days. She also getting an apartment, and she is moving in July 1 st. I am scared this is the end of our relationship, and she is going to be up there 8 months by herself before her parents join her. I want her to stay here with me, but She doesn't want to live here, and I guess she feels she is better off there. She place is 600 a month for a 2bedroom (she has a child) her place also includes a garage. The only bill she has to pay is electric. I found an 800 a month place for rent here. We can't move next year. (march) it's more money but it's here. It also has a garage. But we have to pay all the bills. She thinks there is better and she says she's only 5 mins from the beach (lake) the one I found is 10 mins from a nice lake And we would be together, and I have my job here. I guess she is going to be working with her cousin until she finds a job. Her cousin has her own business, and she is allowing her to work around her daughters schedule. What do I do? I don't even have the money to move.. She is already so caught up with her child, and add more family into the mix .. Idk help please

I ask because I basically just ate 3-day old roadkill. I went to a good food place and asked for the pulled pork sandwich. All well and good. However, the waitress comes back about 5-7 minutes later and says, "oh geez, I forgot to tell you this but we re out of pulled pork. You re going to have to order something else." So she recommends the Cubano, we chit chat for a while, and I say, "ok, Cubano it is." 5 minutes later she comes back and explains, awkwardly, "I m SO SORRY about this, but we can t do a Cubano either. We are out of the carnitas we would need for the Cubano as well." She recommends the burgers, but I don t want to do a burger. I do it anyways. She comes back with this MASSIVE burger 10 minutes later, and I chow down into it. I take a peek at the mass of meat I am devouring and it is, not pink, not red, but bloody as hell deep red. I would have sent it back in a heartbeat, but after going through so many awkward encounters with the waitress I just gulped the whole thing down. So yeah. Should I just curl into a ball and wait for the inevitable food poisoning?

My boyfriend of 1 year broke up with me about 2 months ago, I was a mess and grieving wasnt easy and after a month I started feeling better about myself and the whole situation but lately Ive been getting these heavy moments of nostalgia where my mind just tries to go back in time and remember every moment of our relationship and I really dont feel like going down memory lane, it makes me feel like crap but then again I dont want to neglect any emotion because I want to get over this breakup in the healthiest way possible. He started acting really odd about a month ago. He stopped smiling, didn't laugh, looked tired, acted like he was distant and was getting angry at everything very easily when he never did before. Then a week ago, he calls me and says "I'm so sorry but I'm breaking up with you" When I asked why, he just said "I can't figure that out...I just feel like I have no emotions or too many and I want to live by myself." I was like huh??? We loved together 7 years and happily! He then said "I don't want to hurt you but I feel like I really need to be alone and be single for a long while, probably forever because I just don't know who i am or if im in the right career" So i said you could figure yourself out with me by your side to support you and he disagreed saying he needs to just be alone forever. My boyfriend of 2 years confessed to me that he raped a girl in college. My boyfriend is the sweetest man, would do anything for me. Everybody who knows him considers him to be a great guy all around. In college he was drunk and started to have sex with a girl who was drunk/asleep. It lasted a few seconds until she awoke and told him to stop. Which he did. He and the girl had been "talking" for several years, but he did not have a relationship with her due to distance. He has never pushed the issue of sex with me. We waited nearly 6 months before having sex, never been abusive, or anything to give me a red flag. He often has night terrors and I have realized the guilt from this situation is why. The girl never decided to press charges just told him to always make sure he give consent. I am so torn up about this situation. I love him dearly but this changes the way I think about him.

My best friend and I have been best friends for 5 years. We talk and trust each other like our lives depend on it. We are freshmen. I am 15 and she is 14. My best friend attends Sea Scouts (which is a sort of co-ed boy scouts thing but with sailing/the ocean involved). She met a guy she really likes there. Hi, so I'm 16 and I met a guy online and we have been facetiming and texting eachother for a couple of months and I told him about my parents and how they are semi strict when it comes to dating and I really like this guy and he already told his friends about me and I wish I could do the same I'm just scared that people will judge me and I'm afraid that my parents will get mad at me for meeting a guy online but I was planning on lying to them saying that we met through friends but I don't know what to do, or even talk to them because every time I try to gain the courage I get super anxious and my parents even told me not to meet people online and I'm most scared about my dad because he's really strict and I just don't know what else to do or who else to ask for help. I have a therapist and I want to tell her but I'm scared that she will tell my mom. And it just doesn't make sense how they don't understand that we live in an age of technology and that we make friends best through social media. So someone please help!!!

These males who are neighbors they live across the street from her. They are also drug dealers....They talk about her everyday daily behind her back without hwr knowing. They talk about her lile they know eveyrthing a out her when they dont even know her. They said she has a really ugly face, spongebob looks better then her. She look like harriet Tubman. The reason I'm asking this question is because i ran into a girl I was in love with the other day. We used to talk for hours and at one point I could definitely tell she liked but was afraid to make a move. I did admit to liking her later but i already missed my chance by then. She was coming to me for advice about a boy she was obsessed with who broke her heart. I felt like an idiot liking her then and talking about some other guy so I admitted my feelings to her. She was nice about it and told me that she had a crush on me forever too but her feeling fade fast. She said this was the first guy here feelings didn't fade for which hurt. We talked here and there over the next few weeks but i didn't talk to her for four months. Next time i talked to her it was about another boy she just got out of a relationship with in the end i stopped talking to her and hanging out with her because she only came around when she was upset or needed advice. Anyway, I was with a friend hanging out at a festival and somehow ran into her after 8 months of no contact. I avoided her while my friend who also knows her started a conversation. In the end she saw me and was very nice. I didn't really notice anything but my friend brought up to me that there was some weird tension between us he also noticed she was being very flirty with me. He was honestly very confused by this as we all hanged out together in the past and he never noticed this behavior he also never knew I liked her.
