The other day I posted in our groupchat something along the lines of "because it's payday tomorrow and it'll be my last chance to go out with yous, does anyone fancy going out tomorrow?" Only two people got back to me, one saying they wouldn't be able to go and the other asked why I was leaving. The next day I said again if anyone was interested and only one person got back saying they couldn't make it, no one else replied to me. I don't really know how to react to being ignored like that, as I've felt like gotten along with everyone there pretty well and had worked there for two and a half years, these were people I actually thought were my friends. One friend told me not to take it personally, but honestly that's the only way I see it. What do you think is the best way to deal with something like this? |
| Posted: 31 May 2019 08:45 PM PDT My husband and I had lived alone for the past two years and we were like best friends doing almost anything together, he never asked me to not be around friends, we would hang out together but ever since we moved back to his hometown recently his been hanging out with other friends , they come over mostly to just hang out and drink , these are friends I previously never met . The problem is that now he always asks me to go in the room every Friday and sometimes also Saturday night when they come over. It s usually from early evening till sometimes morning, I feel really bad about it because I feel left out , I thought me and my husband were like best friends and I don t see why I can t be included. His excuse is that since I m pregnant and can t drink why would I be there and also that he is trying to have guy time. I understood that the first few times but now I am very fed up because I don t even feel like I m in my house anymore since I m limited to the room when they re here. I explained to him how I felt and he promised he wouldn t ask me that again but he did again today. He gets mean when he drinks and then apologizes after and blames it on the alcohol. He says this old friends are kind of "weird" and that s why he doesn t want me around them but then why would he be putting them pretty much before me because he doesn t even ask if I felt like doing something before bringing them over . I feel that right now that I need him the most he is being distant. Thanks |

This guy ask me to let him barrow my piano then it ends up he just keeping it sure I mey have buddies to play games with on ps4 or something but other then that those buddies never invite me to go hangout when they go somewhere Im only their to play games with them. One time I bought a new album from a artist my fake friend listen to the same music too so he just came over and ask me to let him take it to rip out the songs for him he basicly got it for free. In high school even though I hangout with a bunch of group friends I was the only one that got left out in pictures like I see that person taking pictures right in front of me then later when I look on facebook Im not even in the picture wtf he purposly did not take a picture of me with them even though im right next to them. I got bullied alot in high school none of my friends back me up but when their buddie got bullied they all would fight them like wtf again we all would be cool hanging out in a group but when we not in a group and im alone talking to one of them he would be hella mean to me. In piano class these 2 dudes are always cool with me in the room they would always tell me to play music for them because im good at playing piano but then when we are outside of piano class they are mean to me they will just ignore me. I need help finding people mid\late twenties that are chill, and can appreciate and respect people/things, like art, movies, and are educated and mature for their ages somewhat. I never have a problem making new friends, but I can not find any out here that arent younger, full of drama, or older and unrelatable. I think I need to try new places to find people. Posted: 31 May 2019 03:53 PM PDT Two famous football players came to my school today, I made eye contact with one and with my hands and mouth said can I come down and he said yes one second and nodded and 3 of my friends saw. I never ended up going to ask a question as they ended it as he called me up. Later he was taking pictures so in the stands of the gym we made eye contact and I said can I come down and hug you he said yes come down so I did but no one saw him do that and I got my picture professionally taken and stuff and hugs and got to wear the Super Bowl ring and all but everybody is mad at me that I went down and they think I just did it without permission but the player told me to come down just only my 3 friends and I saw him say yes! It feels like everybody's mad at me and I got attacked by people and teachers in the hallway asking how's i got down there it sucked but what do I do now it feels like they all hate me because they are jealous! |

They either want to spend the whole weekend with her or even the whole week. The sad part is that my friend keeps on saying yes to them meanwhile my friend has friends of her own that she wants to see. Even when my friend doesn't want to do or they think she doesn't to hang out with them they will force her to do something her parents her parents will make her come home or come up with some drama to make her come home. My friend would still rather hand out with her parents then have a social life and do fun things with people her own age. Her parents don't treat her nice and make her do all there chores, and drag to places she doesn't want to go and her parents will make her come home at a reasonable time even when school is not in session. Do you think my friend is brainwashed by her parent already or do you think she will change one day or do you guys know what is going on with this situation? My friend is 23 years old and still earning her associates degree in college. My friend does have a job but only works two-3 hours a day. |

Plus there were a lot of girls going up to them. I just looked at them and kept going. I guess they saw me and started harassing me. I didn't say anything because I'm a shy person. I feel frustrated because ever since I took up dancing, she has suddenly taken in interest in it, tried to copy me and tries to tear me down when I accomplish something. She messaged me as soon as she saw online that I took up dancing and asked me if she could join classes with me. I naturally said yes and since then we have been going to class together. I took photos of myself dancing in a studio and she messaged me asking how I got my photos done and she wants me to take photos of her dancing now in the exact same place and get the same photos. So I took photos of her dancing and she said 'how do you manage to get your leg so high in your photos?' When we go on a night out, and we get dressed up she never compliments me, only insults me telling me I should spend longer on my make up and hair and then when we take photos together she never uploads any of the two of us on her page, but uploads photos of other girls on her page. She also insults me throughout the night, calling me names like idiot What's her problem with me? |

| Question: What do I do about my depressed flatmate? Posted: 31 May 2019 02:02 AM PDT His girlfriend broke up with him about a month ago and he's been in this ever worsening spiral. He stopped going to work a week after, and then I swear I didn't even see him for 3 days until I took him something to eat. He's not talking to much more than he needs to and is perpetually either watching porn way too loud or playing video games. Worse still he's taken to the living room for the last week. There are beer cans and uber bags everywhere and when you ask to tidy up, he just says he'll get to it Meanwhile, I swear the boxers he has on are the same as he moved out there wearing and I've come home to find him passed out on the couch all week with and without them surrounded by new beers, tissues and half eaten food. When I ask, he just says he's sweet and on a couple weeks vacation. Initially, I thought a few days and he'll set right, but I can't see the end. After having the house look, smell and sound like a teenage boy's room for a week, I'm losing the battle. I feel like calling his ex is gonna hurt the situation and I've thought about his Mum but she's hours away.... He's a good guy, and all of this is completely off character. More than the state of everything, I'm just getting pretty worried. What do I do? |

She put the cat to sleep because she had these episodes of attacks as for which she would bite. She was sent to the hospital for the last bite and she had to stay over night so she put her to sleep. Here is the catch she lied the whole day she put her down. I found a place for the cat to go that Sunday which was 2 days from then and she agreed. I came back the next day to pick up the cat because we agreed she could stay at my house that day. When I came she had her empty cat box outside and she said she was at the vet for blood work. She gave me 2 cans of cat food for her. She also told me she was going to talk to someone who she prefered to have the cat. Later that afternoon she was fixing her bike and I came out to see when she was coming back then she said she gave her to the person which she "asked" and then i told her that I knew the truth. I then left a nasty note in her car. Can you help me? |

I know because she has told me in casual talks about things and also she has crushes on guys. Just sometimes she makes me wonder. The way she acts with me doesn't always seem just platonic. For ex. She'll hug me a lot. She's said before during a hug "You're mine" and she also says all the time how much she loves me. Like very often she'll say she loves me so so much. She says my name a lot when talking to me. She says how she would like to live somewhere together with me. One day I went in the employee lounge and there was my good friend Wanda crying. I asked her what the problem was. She said her 16 year old daughter Kim had just called. Kim had worked many weekends to save money for her dress for the big school dance today. Kim's date for the dance had just called and said he was not taking her unless she promised sex after the dance. Kim told him off but was devastated that she was not going to the dance. I told Wanda that was not right and I would take Kim to the dance if that was OK with both of them. Wanda called her daughter and told her the problem was solved. She told Kim she would be the envy of every girl at the dance. I did take Kim to the dance and I thought she enjoyed it. The next day Wanda told me that Kim had said I had turned the worst day of her life into the best day ever of her life and she could not thank me enough for what I did for Kim. Wanda also told her coworkers what I did and now a lot of my coworkers want me to take their daughters on a date. The problem is I have a girlfriend. Anyone have any ideas how I can not go on all these dates without making my coworkers or girlfriend mad at me? |
