Happiness comes from within, etc. All of the self help websites agree with this point. If this were the case, why do so many people still enter relationships or get married? |

He still won't leave me alone about it. I stupidly had an affair at the time my husband was mistreating me with emotional abuse and he was a very angry person. I confided into this other man about my problems and one then led to another. He basically told me he wouldn't be my friend unless I gave him what he wanted. I should have never done it. I can't take it back but I have not been having sex with him anymore I ended our affair and the man is mad he's telling me he's gonna tell my husband everything and show him all the screenshots. My friend said I should block him and call his bluff. She said showing fear will only make it worse. The problem is that I blocked him and he found another way to contact me from a different number |

I have 3 children, 19 year old daughter and my sons are 17 and 12. I feel like ive tried to be a good dad to my kids but its hard loving 3 spoiled, Self-absorbed, disrespectful children that never listen. My wife also doesnt listen and goes against everything that i say. For example, one time my two sons were up playing playstation in their room and it was 10.30 p.m. my 12 year old is always playing that game so i tell him he has to get off my 11pm and go bed. My son back talks me and says im annoying. Then his brother tells him that he doesnt have to listen to me. I get furious and i shouted im the boys father, not you! My son starts saying he doesnt care and to get out of his room. As im arguing with my older son now, my wife comes over and tells me to leave those boys alone. I tell her that she needs to stay out of it and let me talk to my sons. She starts saying im shouting and screaming and shes tired of it, and yes I was shouting and screaming because I am angry. Im angry with this family, i get no respect. I back my wife up, she had an argument with our daughter the other day and I backed her up but she does not do the same for me. I just want to give up on this family and leave sometimes. |

Actually, he would ejaculate fairly quickly. Sometimes too quick. I am currently going into my 5th month of pregnancy and our sex life have went down hill. It's like he's not even turned on anymore and when we do have sex, he's taking forever. I do want to admit that my body isn't the same as it was prior to pregnancy. I actually was a little heavier and loss a lot of weight. Almost 20lbs. I thought that was a good thing being as tho prior to I was in the Obese BMI category but it seems he just isn't as turned on anymore. Another thing is I know I'm not as engaged because I'm so worried about hurting the baby so I'm either asking him to slow down or not too hard but it still just seems crazy how now he just can't orgasm at all. He says he have been masturbating a lot lately but from my knowledge he was masturbating a lot prior to me getting pregnant. Just have this feeling that something else is going on but he have never gave me any indication of that except for the inability to climax. Besides work he's always home with me and I have access to his phone, etc. He don't so drugs or alcohol. No known health issues. I just feel like crap and so unattractive 😔 |

I do not think it's worth it ..I have always hated the idea of marriage for several reasons ... I think going to work and returning home after a long time And talking to my mom at the end of the day is the most thing I want ... but at the same time I love my boyfriend and I am very afraid of the idea of living alone I am an introverted girl..I love to sit alone and read my favorite book and love to do the things that I love.. I don't think I can do this if I get married.. especially since my beloved's mother is very attached to him..I don't want to lose him and at the same time I don't think I'll be happy if I get married ... I fear that not having kids and living alone is the most mistake I will make...like I will marry him but I know that I will not be happy ..is that the right thing to do? My husband and I became a part of his familiy circle (maybe for a year or so) by his wish. Our friendship was casual, nothing deep, but pleasant. I text or hear with him almost every day (most is initiated by him) and with his wife once a month or even less, againg mostly initiated by her. Ever since this COVID thing happend, he started to initiate more intimate and personal talks (always over texting). This last month or so he is trying to stear every conversation to my husband and how he is to me. What is our relationship like. Trying to find out about my sex life and if I'm satisfied with it. I menage to avoid it by changing subject or brush it of with a joke. When he's realy pushy I tell him I don't want to talk about it and end the conversation. At the same time there is a vow of silence about his life. |

We're black so she was very light skinned, sometimes mistaken for white. She had very long wavy hair and weighed about 105 lbs. I have always has an affection for think light skinned girls. Several years into dating my wife decided that she was tired of being the skinny girl. She said that she was always the skinny one in high school and even during several stints in 2 branches of the military and even her first marriage and 2 kids later. She decided to put on weight. She's now up to around 150 or 160 lbs. Now our sex life has suffered. Even thought I still love her I do not find her sexually attractive. And she has made it clear, she's not going back down to her previous weight. For months now she's been complaining about our lack of sexual activity and I've told her it's her weight. In her mind I should still desire her no matter what weight she is. Now some may say that 156 or 160 isn't that much for a woman to be but that's not the woman I fell in love with. No health issues, no additional kids. Nothing. She just decided that she was tired of being a size 2 or 4 but has now gotten up to a 12/14 and even some 16 clothes. I just don't find her sexually attractive right now. Does this make me shallow? |

To make a long story short, my husband has a gf and I have a bf, but we're still happily married. My husband's gf is also my aunt. So a few days ago my husband's gf apparently stole some cash from my husband's wallet (~$200), and that's the 6th time in 2 months we caught her taking cash from his wallet. That got me thinking that maybe she's just using us for cash. We already buy her a lot because she's family so idk why she would need this. Ive got a 5 year old, and I feel all my time goes into mothering/ caring for my husbands needs and Im wanting more out of life, I feel like im missing out. Im only 29, and I want a life of my own. I have a hard time on some days feeling like anything more than a mother and wife. I want to do ME for once. How do I buckle down and get selfish? I lose focus a lot, and feel like giving up. I am and have always been deeply in love with him but I believe he is a narcissist. He cheated on me multiple times and even had an outside baby on me who is 2 now. We don't have any kids together and I don't have any kids at all. I think he just discarded me. We fought be cause he continued to stay out late doing drugs, drinking, and having unprotected sex with women and when I tried to hold him accountable he left for weeks to go back home where the mother of his child lives. He told me he would be back in a few days but then I found his return flight email showing he won't return until July 8th. I've tried to talk to him and to get him back but he doesn't want me. I'm deeply hurt and depressed and although I know it is probably for the best I just can't understand why he would just leave me for weeks and not speak to me at all. What can I do to get over him and focus on Myself. |
