This happened on vacation, however, so we were only able to text for a few weeks after meeting. We have a lot in common, and share similar imterests and can talk and talk for ages with one another even though we are both shy/socially awkward which isn't the case around each other. She also catches quick glances during class since i can pretty much tell that she is staring at me. She also laughs a lot at all my jokes whether they are funny or not. So I have asked her to the movies twice and she said she was busy with work, she works until midnight most days as well as having to go to school but never did she suggest an alternative time for us to hang out. Also over the past week she seems a little more serious around me and avoids eye contact if i look at her, she is fine around others though although i can still make her laugh from time to time. So two of my close friends think she likes or loves me but i don't know. They think I asked her just as a friend and i should have been upfront that i was asking her out on a date and not just as friends, which i kind of did sincei never said it was a date just that i wamted to go watch a movie with her. So much so that she would always turn to the classroom entrance to see if I was coming. | Question: Why aren't the young women of this generation interested in serious relationships? Posted: 29 Feb 2016 07:09 PM PST I am 24 years old male, single. It seems to me that the young women of my generation are only interested in being "friends" with two or three guys, rather than looking for one boyfriend. For example, my cousin who is a girl has three very close male friends. None of them her boyfriend, but one of them she allows to have sex with her. I'm guessing its because he is good in bed or something. Then, there is this other guy who takes her out on weekends. Then, there is this other guy who sometimes chills at her place after work and they look at tv and maybe have a drink or two. She told me, that she has built herself the perfect boyfriend because the 3 of them form her idea of one perfect man. I am now in a situation where I go out on dates with girls, looking to find myself a girlfriend, but the dating only last about two or three dates the most because I later discover that she has a boyfriend. But they never say that up front when I ask them out. I have to force it out of them, What the hell is going on? Has anyone else noticed this? |
