We go to obx for a week and stay in the beach. We now have a 1 month old baby and the vacation is about a week away. My husband and I discussed that our.fruends would not like having a baby around as they're single and or don't like kids. But today my husband mentioned that he was invited to come so they could play edh, a 4 player card game they all play(only 3 people going play). We live in pa so its a long drive, usually about 9 hrs said and done. He said he wouldn't be mad if I went away for a week but it implied I would take the baby and care for her even on my vacation which he does not have to worry about. He's gone on short trips with his friends before to tournaments several times and that was different because not only did we not have a baby, but it was only a weekend at most and it wasn't like he was going to a huge lavish beach house without me. My question here is. Is it normal for me to be a little frustrated that my husband wants to go without me and leave me home alone with our new baby? I'm capable of being alone but I know I would never do such a thing. I have gone to a cabin with my grandmother for a few days without him when he wanst able to take off work and he says this is the same. |

He said he will let me know the venue after I told him I'm free this week. Well not a word since. Should I text him to follow up and what do I say? A few months ago we made plans just to hang out but it never happened and he pretty much avoided me due to (according to him) insecurity issues. He admitted he wanted to ask me out on a date that time but was too insecure. I think the same thing might be happening especially since now we planned to hook up. He might not be ready.
