I also said that she could have the baby if she wanted or we could do adoption, up to her. She could change her mind. And she said no, no. I want to do this. I was glad she chose this but I would have gone any way. I went to the appointment with her. I held her hand. I asked her if she was okay and she said yes. The whole process was pretty simple. They just gave her pills to take, talked to us about it, gave us some information about afterwards, dealing with the physical and emotional effects. We both took off from work and then we were off for the weekend. I figured that would be good for her, if she could relax afterwards. I feel like I was as supportive as I could be. Now she's been really upset. It almost seems like she's mad at me but she says she's not. I said,"you wanted this right?" And she said yes. So I asked what the problem was and she said she doesn't know. I asked her if she wanted to have a kid. And she said no. So I said then what's wrong? And again she says, "I don't know." Like I told her, if she can't articulate what the problem is, I can't help. |
