So a lot of stuff happened and I cried a lot but now I think I'm over it somewhat. Well today my best friend told me that she hates me and now shes best friends with the same girl that took my boyfriend 3 weeks ago! They have best friend necklaces already and it hurts me really bad. I lost my two best friends in less than a month and they replaced me with my worst enemy. I am so hurt. |

She would always get me into trouble. And then stupid Austin (who Molly doesnt like at all.) pops up and starts being nice to her and now all they do is make mean faces at me and talk about me behind my back. Molly ran off with Addy and Rylee is still my friend because Molly tried to make her choose sides, but i told her not to choose sides bc thats immature. And now the whole squad split up. (Squad was molly addy rylee and me and sometimes austin) so anyways they keep trying to make me jealous but its not working. We're in the 8th grade, going into highschool. Now this is where you come in. How do i make her regret ever being rude to me? I was thinking i would get a new style and show up to highschool looking like a model or something and snatching all the boys. But i need ideas. And tips on socializing. Im very nervous, anxious and scared to move into the new place. I will be going to school but I have a hard time making friends. I have a tendency to get lonely and depressed. I know I could always just drive over there, but thats going to cost a lot of money in gas. What advice do you have for this. How can I over come the anxiety? I looked at her and she was making a face then she said "wtf are you doing". She's Mexican and I'm friends with her friends. We're like all really close. Well they always speak Spanish then say something and look at me and laugh. I always ask her what they said and se always say "nothing" and start laughing. It's just that I can never find anything to say quick enough, whether I'm texting someone, flirting with a guy, arguing with someone, trying to prove a point. I can never do it. My bestfriend naturally has a "smart mouth" (in a good way, she has a smart mouth when necessary) and she is the queen at comebacks and stuff like that. Like if a guy were to come up to her right now and say something so clever and flirty she would have something to say back in 0.5 seconds and it would be just as clever. And BOOM, he asks her out! Same when she's arguing with someone, or responding to a sarcastic comment, or when someone says something mean to me (I'm slightly less popular and pretty than she is) she would have to jump in and defend me because I would just sit there with a dumb look on my face because I don't know what do say. A little background info is that my bestfriend has 4 older siblings (who are just as smart mouthed as she is even more) and I only have an older brother who doesn't talk to me so could that be why? And don't take this the wrong way but she's half Colombian so maybe that could be a reason? And why hasn't it rubbed off on me yet? We've been friends for 15 years. We're both 18 btw. |

I've been a loner my whole life, and didn't really need friends/boyfriend/parents...I wanted to be on my own. Well me and my bff got in a argument and stopped talking for about a month but something happened that brought us to talking again and for two days we've been talking but it's not like it used to be. We got in a fight because I went on a last minute ski trip with a group of guy friends when I told her we would hang out. She was initially going to go too but ended up telling her mom nevermind because I didn't know if I could go yet. Anyway that situation blew up and i didn't know why she was mad at me. I ended up getting into a relationship with one of the guys who went on the trip (we were talking for awhile) and my best friend and I stopped talking because she said she couldn't be friends with someone like me. Summer vacation happened and she moved out of state for college but when spring break came, I asked her if we could meet up and get lunch. The whole time she back-handedly insulted me and things weren't the same. She didn't ask anything about my boyfriend and I didn't bring him up because I think one of the major reasons why she stopped being my friend is because she liked him. (I knew she had a crush on him Sophomore year but senior year I asked her if she still liked him and she always denied it). After the lunch, I posted on twitter "if you don't seem interested in being my friend I'm not going to put in the effort." And she posted "who were we kidding anyway". I think about the memories we had and I miss her as a person but I don't know if the bridge is too burned to fix it.. Should I try talking to her and apologizing or would it be a waste of time? |

Recently my current friend has been hanging out with one of her old friends more and more, at first it didn't matter to me but now it hurts. We got together every other Friday night and I'd stay over because I don't have the best home life which I told her about. My dad drinks, my mom yells, they fight in front of my siblings and I and yell at us. I don't know, it feels good when I'm out of the house and I told her that and I thank her for being there. But now I wonder, the only reason we get together is because she needed someone to join an activity Friday nights, she was too afraid to join it herself and I saw she had asked all her other friends before she asked me and they all said they couldn't. Some part tells me if one of her other friends said they could she would never invite me over. But now her other friends keep inviting her to do stuff so she keeps just asking me to go to this activity on Friday night but then she was going to go out with her other friends. I know she likes her other friends better, I mean she says we shouldn't get together every Friday because we'll end up getting mad at each other (we never have before) but she spent a week with her friend visiting another state. Then, one of them hit my friends' girlfriend in the head, which set him off. He came up here and told us that one of us was gonna get our *** kicked if he found out who it was. Being the dumb people they are, they tried to frame me. I've explained to him that it wasn't me, and even some people as witnesses said it wasn't me, but for now he believes me. Later we got into this HUGE fight and I told him I didn't want to be his friend anymore only because I was mad, not because I meant it. Anyway, he got mad at me and didn't talk to me. | Question: Do I have real friends? Posted: 15 May 2015 12:59 PM PDT Ok so this has been happening for a couple months now and I don't feel like I have real friends. My so called friends have been having many social gathering in where they talked about it to me and didn't invite me. So about 5 months ago there was this holiday party where one of my friends had a party where half of our grade was invited but not me.....then a couple months later the same thing happened...8 months ago they started hanging out at the movies a lot and they invited people who they hated. I still wasn't invited even though they went every friday. next once it got warm enough to go outside they went to this girls house who had a big house with a big backyard and all of my friends were there but not me. then they started having pool parties every weekend. I was invited to 1 where I had to leave early and they all got mad at me and didn't talk to me for a day. today they are going to the movies. I wand t invited but honestly it seems like a regular thing now. do u think I have real friends or do they actually not like me |
| Question: Is there something mentally wrong with my new neighbor? Posted: 15 May 2015 12:57 PM PDT I'm 24 and my new neighbor, Frank is somewhere in his 50s. Don't get me wrong, he's a very nice guy, but he keeps calling me "Dad". At first, I thought it was funny, but it started to get weird because the other day, I was walking outside to get the mail and Frank snuck up behind me and grabbed me and screamed "Dad! Dad! Dad! Dad! Dad!" in my ear and tickled me. It was strange. Then I was at the mall with a girl I recently met. And we were walking along holding hands and Frank saw me. From a far distance away, he screamed Dad! at me very loud. My date was sort of freaked out. Then he talked to us for a few minutes and he asked my date, "what do you think of my dad?" and he grabbed my shoulder and jokingly shook it and laughed...I don't know what to make of it. It was funny at first, now it's sort of weird. |

I'm a nice kid and all, but I have to kick this other kids *** for raping my friend (they're dating but she tried to run) no idea why they stay together. I wanna just jump him but I don't wanna start other **** or anything. I told her to go to the police but she doesn't want him to go to jail.... but she wouldn't know and he wouldn't know who jumped him. What is a better solution? |

Posted: 15 May 2015 12:43 PM PDT I have braids and I made 2 pigtail buns at school, so one of my guy friends kept playing with them until one came lose and he Insisted that he wanted to redo the bun, he made the first bun a little too tight then I said "ouch" then he said I must suffer for beauty that's what his mom tells him. So he kept fidling around with the bun until I got annoyed and just redid it myself. Then he started pinching my cheeks and I kept swatting his hand away playfully and he would keep trying to pinch my cheeks while i was talking then he said I look cute like a smurf and then he wanted to take a picture of me then I said no, it was funny at first but I got annoyed towards the end . Why was he acting like that? |

| Question: Friendship group falling apart? Posted: 15 May 2015 12:29 PM PDT My friendship group consists of 10 people, who are all friends with each other, but also pair off on their own. Recently, it's kind of split in two, mainly because of who has packed lunch or goes to the canteen. However, the other half of the group is also obsessed with the tv show pretty little liars. One of the girls blames the split on that. I preferred it when we were all together, but I wouldn't mind two much, only that my 'pair' is in the other half. We are nowhere near as close as we used to be, so I asked if I'd done anything to upset her and she just said 'You can't be clingy and get mad at me for liking other people more than you' This really hurt. Now I am the only person without a pair, and the other half completely ignores me, so I feel like I don't have any friends anymore. What should I do? I just want things back to the way they were. |

They are toomuptight to ever have fun either and expect me to do the same. All they want me to do is work forever and shut up. I am 21 years old and they still treat me like this. I don't know one high school kid who has never been to a party. The word fun does not exist in their vocabulary. Posted: 15 May 2015 11:54 AM PDT Every Friday I come over to my friends house and when I get there, we go to Circle K and get 44oz drinks, walk back and sit at his kitchen, talk, and watch videos. We have been doing this for a WHOLE school year now (I know, boring repetition) and I can see we are both bored of it. I often asked if he would like to go hang out at the plaza or mall but he doesn't seem to care about it there, and i'm not a big fan of going to theme parks and getting on roller coasters or on the most "dangerous and badass" ride out there. Any ideas on what we should do differently? I've known this dude since kindergarten, like the sand box days, and i'm surprised we are so dried up and boring now. |

From day 1 he seemed to be singling me out. When we were introducing ourselves he wanted to skip to the back the back of the room where I was so I can introduce myself. The room has about 30ppl and He would also keep making eye contact with me in the back of the room. He even seemed to have a problem I sat in the back of the room. He would make indirect comments I felt were being thrown for me. He keeps giving me the exact same grades. The other day I came into the building 30mins early and he was there getting something to drink. My mind was somewhere else. He saw me coming through the doors and waved Hi to me. I did it half heartedly by accident and I felt bad afterwards. He then brings it up in class about students and professors acknowledging each other. He also keeps studying my face. I had to work in groups and I couldn't understand something he wrote on the board and he came up to me. I was also in private thought about an assignment he was discussing and he calls me out asking me if I'm ok. There's nothing wrong with being concerned, but he seems too interested in my well being. I've been noticing lately too that whenever he see me he looks like he gets happy on the inside. Mind u this person has a life partner. I don't find myself attractive. What's going on? Lastly, every time I hand in my assignments he always thanks me, but I don't really hear him do it to others. Could be wrong. I don't want to jump to conclusions. It's just it gets annoying because I feel like he notices everything I do and the man has a partner. Im not into that cheaters. I just wanna make sure Im on guard of what he's doing. I'm a girl and want to be safe of this as due to the circumstances it's not a a good look. He couldn't have noticed from day 1 that I'm a shy and quiet person. so that couldn't be why. |

I'm starting to hate her because she's so annoying. She constantly argues with me on which route I should take while I'm driving. When I deny to take her "shortcut" she gets angry. She also whines about how much traffic there is and messes with my radio/air conditioning. When I'm leaving school there is so much traffic and its chaos. She tells me to do things like cut through the parking lots and when I say no she's like "omg why everyone's doing it." Before I got a car, she used to ditch me for her other friends and treat me like crap but now she asks for a ride everyday and I'm obligated to pick her up everyday because she l lives down the street from me. Posted: 15 May 2015 11:18 AM PDT A mutual friend whom I've hung out with for years in the same social circle, started working at my workplace (large company). She also moved to my part of town, but felt bored and lonely there. I gently and as casually as possible offered: "well, if you ever wanna hang out, just let me know." She FROZE me out/ignored it--twice! That's her choice, but naturally: I stopped being friendly to her after that. A year later, she found out through a co-worker that I suffered a loss in my family. This friend suddenly BARRAGED me with texts, trying to "be there" for me. .... Um, I don't mean to be cynical, but: Although it's not completely insincere, it seems a little hypocritical of her: She doesn't wanna hang out with me presumably because she doesn't see me that way--yet she's trying really hard to be a "good friend" cuz something bad happened to me? She texted me really aggressively. I was completely turned off--not to mention surprised. She established a distance, and now she's trying to back out of it? ...How would you react? |

Posted: 15 May 2015 11:05 AM PDT so i have this friend, and for the past 11 months hes had me believe he is gay. i trust him with all my heart, and have believed him for all that time, but last night when we were down by the beach, he tried to rape me in the back of a car. i didn't understand because i thought he was gay, and i am a straight girl. hes given off vibes that hes wanted sex off me before, but i thought it was just a joking friendly way, and i never made a big deal of it because i love him. but after last night i am just completely confused, if he is gay why did he try rape me? i managed to save myself from getting raped, although i must admit it was really hard because he was so set on making love to me. i don't know what to do, he's trying to get me to his house and i think it might be so he can actually manage to rape me this time. but i don't want to stop being his friend, any suggestions? |
