He had a half smile when I said it and then he said "sure alright, bye" really quickly and left. He texted me this on the same day "Hey sorry about walking off earlier I'm pretty shy." I asked "why are you shy?" I also texted "Tbh I thought that you wanted to ignore me lol." He didn't text back. I texted him again two days ago the real reason why I wanted to confess to him which was "I thought your friends knew that I liked you." Also that I was sorry I asked why he's shy. He STILL didn't text back. Also it's finals week at school so maybe he's stressed out idk. Months ago, his friends mention me jokingly to him like Hey man there's your girl. The shy guy would just say, I don't like her. She's weird or Shut up. One of his friends would say the shy guy is ripped to me. The shy guy would put his head down and/or smile. He doesn't talk or hang out with girls. He's also really quiet. We were in a video project together a year ago which is how he got my number. We're not even friends but he still has my number when it's already been a year. Back then he always go up to me for help in that class we had. Only me. For the whole year. Then one day you decide to go out together for the first time, and you felt like you really hit it off with them and you are kind of hoping for a relationship. But then a few days after you went out, they say to you, "Well I'm sure you're going to find a nice girl/guy someday and we won't be able to keep hanging out anymore, but until then I hope we can still talk and be friends." What would you say to that? Lol. Would you keep being friends with them? Or would it kind of feel like there's no point because they aren't interested and they are basically saying the friendship will end eventually? |

Dated for 3months in 10th grade. Dated for all of 11th grade&summer, broke up after 2months of 12th grade & got back together. Dated for 5months in 12th grade, recently broke up. As we got older, the more connected we got (intimate&romantically) but at the same time the more we expected from each other. He's the type of guy that never initiated a convo with me (he does with his friends), he rarely texts me by his own will. He doesn't "Like" any of my stuff on socialmedia. He puts his friends before me (one of our break ups was because his friend told him to do so). He was overweight but ever since his friends got him to go to the gym with them, he started acting like a douche to me but still the same old nice guy to the whole world. Our last breakup was brutal. He lied, broke promises and blew me off dates just to hang out with his friends. We made out twice after the break up but that didnt change anything. We have mutual friends but they all chose his side and left me all alone. Basically I got dumped by both my ex and my friends. I don't want anything to do with him but I can't get over him. A month later, hes now currently dating my friend (I got PO'd bc shes my friend and she didnt ask me first) and I can't help but get jealous. Never had a girlfriend, nothing. I was/sort of am I blew my chances in college, the easiest environment to get laid and meet girls. I went to an all boy's high school, so I didn't really have too much of an environment for meeting girls. I was so isolated away from them, this behavior expanded into college with me. I treated girls like they were foreign beings. I didn't know how to talk with them, interact with them, etc. All of my friends were getting into relationships and hookups and I felt jealous because I was too ugly/didn't know how. Now, I don't know how to explain this to any prospective partner. I'm useless for one night stands and hookups because girls are looking for experience and now girls will look at you a certain way because you've never had sex. I'm doing all I can to get better. I'm working out. Dressing better. It's just so demoralizing when it feels like everyone ahead of you is sexually desired/has had a sexual experience. You feel like you're playing in the sand. We had hung out a few times and fooled around (no sex just making out). I cut him off because I felt like I wanted more than he did. He texts me a month later telling me he "misses me, I think about you all the time." I was giving him one word responses. 2) He then tells me, "We need to talk about us. You and I. Our future." I then called him but he didn't pick up. He then says to me, "I wanna hear your voice in person." 3) I bumped into his best friend about a week ago. He told me to text him. I did then he invited me to come hang out with him and a few other people (the guy would be there). 4) Said, "Once upon a time I used to be more than just 'people' to you." We hangout at least once a week sometimes twice. We spent prom together and went on one nice dinner date. He has met my parents and the farthest we have gone is make out. I have heard he has a bad past and was a player. Apparently he would just hookup with girls and only wanted sex. His friends and everyone are telling me Im different and that he actually really likes and respects me. So far he hasn't tried anything and he tells me how beautiful i am and that i make him nervous and that he's never felt this way about someone before. But ik he is still talking to other girls. Like he snapchats them all the time and flirts with them but he doesnt take them out like he does with me. idk if he is hooking up with them because I'm not putting out. Im confused on why he would still be talking to them if he claims he really likes me and wants a relationship?? should i confront him??? he talks to them more then me??? ive met his parents and his friends. |

No we weren't....well time passes an the next thing I know he got back with his ex. Well that kinda hurt! But I was like he made his choice, I move on. However, he starts treating me meanly, he goes around telling everyone that I'm slow and don't know what I'm doing. Just really rude to me when he sees me. like I ask him something an he ignores it. And when I'm happy he gets mad and trys to get me mad. But he can't take his eyes off of me. I wore makeup for the first time and his jaw almost dropped! We never dated so I don't know why he is treating me like this! He made his choice I just don't get it! |

I wasn't sure how I felt cuz I had some feelings for him. And when I see him I feel some type of way. But then when we hang out and he texts me I don't have the feeling. I really want to like him and try to feel it out and see if it could work. We hang out sometimes and on a school trip we sat together some of the way and hung out in our rooms with friends(I'm 16 in junior year). I'm afraid of leading him on. I've always hung out with him as friends. But I'm afraid of him thinking I lead him on. I don't know if I like the thought of him or him and what I should say. ~thanks |

I know this is nuts but bear with me for a while. I have been with my girlfriend for a year then she dumped me and i was really devastated, Carin comforted me and we had a sexual and emotional relationship before i had a girlfriend since we are 17. I dumped my sister Carin for my girlfriend in hopes for a more normal romance, and when i got dumped i decided to get back together with Carin. Carin and i were always very close and maybe thats why i decided to get back together with her. Is this normal? I just feel really lonely and I had always loved her. |
