She was divorced from my father although she got remarried. She was in the process of trying to get a divorce when she passed away. She still has some money in her bank account and her husband has not tried to become the financial power of attorney so I was wondering if I could apply to be the financial power of attorney seeing as she did not have a will but I am her only child and my family agrees she would have wanted me to have the money. I am also married and currently expecting in November. Do you have to be twenty one to apply? If someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated. |

How do you forgive a person that constantly lies to others to escape legal action being taken for the domestic assault he has done. People are looking at it as my getting even because the day I discovered that he was only using me for sex and never really valued at least our friendship, he chose to beat me instead. I was only trying to understand how he climbed out of my bed knowing he was already engaged. I was with this man while he was separated but had no idea he already had a fiancee in another state before his divorce was final. So the day I discovered it I sent her a message to truly want to know what was going on. When he found out, he lashed out and beat me beyond words. This wasn't the first time. So I ask how do I forgive myself and forgive him so I can move on with my life. I held out for the police department but was given the impression that they are looking at it as I am a jilted ex who went looking for trouble. Now he stands a chance at getting away with everything. |

I'm at a fed up point, and I'm sure I do things to cause arguments too, but it seems that when she is upset that I am the one who is reasonable and listening, where as if I become upset, all she does is get upset as well... and I feel that the relationship is dead, or at least that I am dead in the relationship, that my happiness that I show is not worth showing because it is always short lived till the next argument... I want to be there for my child, but I don't want to be miserable in a relationship... I am the only one with a vehicle for us so that does not help either, and she is not working, always asking me to do things for her kids, go to parks , this that and the other... but i also feel they are disrespectful towards me... And I have a question regarding him fingering me in the middle of the night. I would be dead asleep and have dreams of someone raping me. I would then wake up slowly and realizing he would be fingering me. The first time he did it I freaked out and pushed him away and told him I felt raped. And his response was "what are you talking about, why the **** would you wake me up" and pretend he had no idea what he was doing. A couple weeks passed and he did it again so When I woke up I pretended to be asleep and he would hurry and move his hand. I would pretend to sleep and he would slowly start doing it again. I would call him out on it and he would say the same thing. He did it every night for a week. Is this molestation or is this something dumb I should just let go? I am living with my mom and going over all the things he has done to me. And it's been really bothering me. It's weird to say it out loud to somebody.... So that's why I came here. She basically was just sending me a message compliments my default pic. Now keep in mind that she is not on my friend's list or anything and her son was the one who broke up with me. We've been apart for almost 4 months now and his mother seems to be trying to get me to reach out to him. We share a son together and upon exchanging him my ex's mother has gone as far to bring my ex by my house to "see how I was doing" She also was crying and saying how one of us needs to talk to the other. I know she loves her grandson to death and there is no worry about me picking him up and running because there is already a court order in place. Is it normal for her to seek my out on facebook? A few weeks ago she called to "check on me." Is this typically how things go when 2 people seperate. As far as my ex goes in the beginning of the break up he barely acknowledged and was very cold. I wont like and say that I initially begged, pleaded etc to get him back. (of course it didnt work) Then I just stopped doing all of those things since I seen it was not getting me anywhere. Now all of a sudden when we exchange our boy he tries to make small talk and actually acknowledges me. What lead my ex and I to the break up was constant fighting and arguing. But there are some things that really bug her and she's trying to figure out what to do. Her husband is a store manager making around 20k. Shes a manager and makes six figures. They have 4 boys. She cooks, cleans, checks homework, participates in school events, puts the kids in sports, plays ball/games with them, works overtime, manages the budget, pays the bills, does the taxes, gets haircuts, fixes things around the house like patching a hole in the wall, painting and MUCH more. She recently started caring for the lawn after her husband hurt his back (sciatica). This means she mows, trims the hedges etc. with a push mower and the lawn is huge. Whenever there is an issue around the house or someone's trying to con them she has to handle it as he can be naive. This is her typical day/week. Her kids are her everything and she doesn't believe in paying someone to do stuff she can do herself. Her husband on the other hand while he's a great guy he is not handy, hates homework, feels he's on vacation on his day off, rarely interacts with the kids. When is time for discipline he doesn't want to be the bad guy. She plans all outings like date night, vacation, play dates, entrainment. She was fine with it all at first but now she's feeling resentful. He is truly a good guy and her best friend but she's starting to feel like he can't do anything. What should she do? |

But lately my husband has been deleting everything I post on his wall. If I send a send him a sweet "I love you" he deletes it. If I tag in something, he removes the tag. I'm starting to think it's someone on his page that he doesn't want to see the wall post. We are married, our relationship status is married but he took down all of our wedding photos together and left the ones of him and his groomsmen up. For example an ex coworker wrote and told him that they need to go to Rocky Mountain together to get some taffy apples. And he responded "ok cool". She says she is not our level and looks down on him. She finds fault in things he does, says he is lazy (he helps around the house and works), etc. She has said bad things flat out that are very rude about my husband and even his family before right in front of my husband and he kept quiet. Problem is she stays with us because she takes care of our 19 month old (day care is not an option). She has cut the wire of my husband's home theater system on purpose and denied doing it. Just recently, my husband was using one of those exercise contraptions u hang over the door in a vacant room in out house. She went in, fixed some stuff and shut the door of the room so the exercise thingy fell down thenfloor. My husband lost it and purposely cut a box where she keeps some of her stuff, punched holes with a knife and in thenprocess, damaged a new pair of shoes she bought.She found out about this the next day and all hell broke loose. My husband confronted her about the wire she cut before too then kept quiet while she kept saying very bad things to him. I know that this is my husband fault and he should have just kept calm for this sake of our family. My mom has anger mNagement issues. She gets extremely anxious when she gets mad, breathes heavily and had palpitations. She says the most awful things too.I dont want her to stay here but we need her for my daughter and she has helped us out financially before |

Basically the situation is that my husband has been cruising the Craigslist causal encounter section, backpage, escort site, erotic massage sites looking at it all from gay men, transexuals, woman , etc. Which I found all on a hidden phone in his briefcase while I was looking for a bill. The phone is old and dies not have talk/text only WiFi Internet. We have dealt with this in the past and he swore he was just curious about how weird people can be and swears he would never cheat on me. Now the big issue comes into play....he did this in his last marriage. He went to all of those sites and followed through. But swears it was cause he was in a sex less marriage. So, I guess now I have multiple questions...is looking without following through-just being curious about people really likely? And if not more power to the person who enjoys this type of thing but, what's the purpose of having a wife? Wouldn't be easier to lead that type of lifestyle single? My husband is a good man, but his family are users. At least I think they are. I have always been there to help each one of them in every way needed, and I did/do it from the bottom of my heart...but I started becoming resentful about 10 years ago...I have a son with a severe disability...and they never offer any kind of help or support...not even a thoughtful gesture....I have taken care of all their children, cooked for them, helped them obtain things they need, and looked after their sick mother...but when it comes to me, they just take...I'm not expecting them to babysit my disabled child, but there are lots of ways to offer support...a phone call, a pizza, invite us over...something...they do it for others...The only sense of concern I would ever get, was this sentence..."Wow, Lisa, you look tired, you should get some help"...and I'm not quick enough to say something on the spot...now my mother in law is sick, and I'm running over there every day, when my child's aide's come for 2 hours...so I'm still helping...and I don't even have time for it...but I do it for my husband...but in reality, I'm so hurt from all of this "taking", that my heart isn't in it anymore... by the way, most of the time, they ASK for help...and I always do...I stopped "offering" a while ago, but then the "asking" came in...they are just not supportive, and my husband does nothing to confront them on it...oh well, I guess I cannot help anymore...I'm exhausted and hurt...and for those who say "do things without expecting things", yes, in theory that sounds really nice, but no one wants to be a doormat...even doormats need to be polished and cleaned after everyone's feet dirty it |

He wanted us to remain just friends. In a moment of anger he kicked us out of the house and I applied quickly for divorce. The first meeting he was arrogant, vain and self - centred but when we actually signed divorce on the second meeting I started seeing a glimpse of his old self. He is now sad (though I dont know exactly why). Ive built a massive wall and I have told him I didnt want anything to do with him. Didnt reply to any emails, I have been cold, harsh and distant. Seeing him down and different has made me realise how much I miss him and I am really confused. He told me he wants to seek help as he wants to be happy (something he wasnt admitting at the time., he was totally fine). I told him all his decisions were rash and he needed to give it time but I do not know if he is missing me. Well now that we're married, all of that has fallen on me. Anytime something happens, I have to call. He will wait until I get home and ask me to call a company about a question or problem. There have been several instances where there was a problem with our debt card, I had no access to our money for several days, because he would not call the bank - they will only speak to him though because of the way our account is setup. He will actually avoid calling companies even if there are reprocussions, penalties, etc. if he doesn't contact them. He expects it to get swept under the rug or for me to clean up the mess. Im at my wits end on how to deal with this, I feel like he just needs to grow up and handle his business and he says he doesn't see a problem. |

On one occasion I discovered my brother had gone on my phone and as some sort of cute "joke" had been posing as me and writing people in my Facebook, talking idiotic, saying personal and embarrassing things about myself, and making me look like a fool--I called him and screamed at him about it. She immediately left the house, stayed at a motel overnight, and the next morning called and asked if it was "safe" for her to come back. My final straw came when I confronted her about something that upset me, and she said "Look, if you're going to beat me up, just get it over with." I responded by lowering my voice and calmly saying, "You should try some hot mustard with those nuggets you're eating. Enjoy your meal" and then turning on the television and saying nothing further. It really bothers me that she thinks that sooner or later, I'm going to beat her! She might do things that occasionally ring the critical alarm bells on my "pissed off" meter, but I wasn't raised to hit women. My dad never beat my mom, and it's just not wired in me! I just don't do that! How can I get her to take down her shield and not act like she has something to be afraid of? It really hurts that someone I love would think I would actually hurt her. |
