Anyway now he's trying for uncontested divorce and the lawyer told him to offer her 50 a month to get it through as uncontested. Now she's saying she wants 50 a week. Or won't sign the papers. He only makes 960 gross every 2 weeks and this is going to make it difficult to pay our bills and support our children. His lawyer is telling him to just agree to it. We feel he is getting screwed if he signs it. So I guess what I'm asking is does he have any right to seek part of the 130,000 dollars. And is 50 dollars a fair amount given the circumstances. |

| Question: Worried about husband's mom with our daughter? Posted: 31 Jul 2015 07:24 AM PDT I grew up in foster homes so I don't have parents. My husband's father still woks but their income is still limitted. His mother is retired. We are definitely better off financially than them. I love my in-laws. Grandma stepped up to watch our granddaughter rather than have us pay to put her in daycare. She wanted to do it for free but we insisted on paying her since it is still a job thats pretty much 9-5 and my husband likes getting to help out his parents since they normally won't take his help. It's only $100/week. And we also keep a backup sitter in case his mom needs a break. She keeps spending so much money on our daughter though and doing stuff for us/buying us things. It makes me feel guilty and makes me worry about them. Like the other day, she took our daughter to the zoo. And I was like let me pay you for the zoo tickets and she was like no, no. Then she bought me a $300 running stroller. And I said this is not included in the $100/week we give you. It just makes me feel guilty but my husband says that's how they are and to just let her be because it makes her happy. I can't shake the feeling, I almost feel she can't trust her son to be independent. What do I do? |
