So my mom and him go to McDonalds at 12 and they hang out till 2 he doesn't come home till 5 and I asked my mom where they went to eat since he wasn't home till five( at the time I didn't know the details about McDonalds) and she freaks out and starts yelling at him and my dad is like thanks I appreciate it towards me.I have no idea my mom says I didn't do anything wrong but my dad says I should keep my mouth shut. He then denies that it was five and I don't know how to tell time, while my brother is staying out of it even though he made my baby bro a bottle at 4:45. He's a young teen so I shouldn't blame him for not being bold and having my back. It has come to my attention that I cost them 3000 for false alarm problems ( I had just gotten out a relationship my arm was going numb and my chest was in pain etc) supposedly just stress.I have all my stuff in a really big box and I'm willing to work off that bill and get a job. It may have been a bad move on my part. |

I recently moved to Seattle and have since did an official address change through USPS. A couple days after receiving the confirmation in the mail I started getting all my fathers mortgage and utility bills as well as bank letters and info. They never seem to include the middle initial either so to them my father and I are the same person. Any mail even sent to my fathers address gets automatically forwarded to my address (I tried mailing the letters back). My mother and father ended up visiting the post office and had everything set back to normal, which means my address is still set as the old one. I order lots of stuff online and I don't want anything getting mixed up in the mail. I just want to know if there is a way to get this straightened out. |

He turned 19 before I even turned 16 and I don't think his parents hated me as a person they just didn't like That I was so young and I understand that but they've held this grudge. They thought that I was too immature not to mention the legal trouble he could've gotten into but my parents knew his age and they were fine with it. 4 years ago he and started living together. His mom just hated me even more. His 2 brothers have gotten over treating me like a child and they like me and we've gone on dates together with their girlfriends. His dad has even kind of just started tolerating me. He isn't a dick and he makes small talk but he isn't very social to begin with. Both of my parents knew he was going to propose and his dad knew when he did it I posted a picture on Facebook and his mom posted about an hour after "It's a shame all the nice guys end up with immature little girls. It's crazy how a pretty face can distract men from noticing a stuck up brat. That body won't be there forever and when it's gone you'll realize what I've been telling you for 10 years. I love my boys but they have to learn!" That was obviously directed towards me I called my fiancé and as soon as he picked up he said he saw it and he was going to talk to her. I don't know what he said but she took it down. It makes me so mad I'm 25 I'm not a kid anymore and she's calling me immature but she's the one posting things like that on social media. What am I supposed to do? I've confronted her so many times and she just drives me insane I can't talk to her when I'm mad. She tries to start stuff with me to get me in trouble and I usually ignore her. She keeps going until I retaliate or am forced to leave the room. When I retaliate I always get in trouble. My mom says that my sister got this behavior from me because I'm the eldest so therefore I'm a "role model". I can't have friends over or else my sister will tell them stuff about me or try to keep their attention off of me. I ask her to not touch my stuff or to leave me alone and she tells me to "shut up" and I get angry so she then starts screaming, "leave me alone!!!" as if I was the one who started it with her. She whispers things with my other sister and brother. If she ever does any thing nice she uses that as an advantage to get me to pay her back. When I tell her not talk to me she says "well I'm talking to you and you started talking to me first!". She has physically hit me multiple times and I can't hit her back or else I get punished. I recently told my parents that my fiance and I would like to get married after graduation (perhaps in July). We are not planning on doing an actual wedding, just a simple courthouse wedding/elopement with maybe a handful of people to watch. Now, I did not expect excitement or approval but I also did not expect the violent reaction I received. They don't like his past mistakes-- something that he has worked hard on-- and the fact I will be a stepmother to his young daughter. However, he's not abusive, doesn't have a drinking/substance abuse problem, and he puts enormous effort in our relationship. Honestly, he was immature in the past. I talk to his mother pretty frequently and his family is very accepting of us because they see the positive changes he's made. Back to my parents, they have sworn that I need to break up with him to keep them my life (my father also threatened his life) and if not, they will refuse to come to my graduation and wedding. They said I am a terrible person if I would go through with marrying this guy despite the fact they said they won't be there. Now, they do help me with college, but once I've completed school I will be cut off -- something I am totally fine with. Yet they feel they have a say in what I do afterwards. Has anyone else gone through this? Do they at least have any good excuse to refuse to come to even my graduation if he is there!?! Thank you. We are at a local YMCA at the pool. It starts raining and they cleared the pool area due to lightening in the area. So myself and my three girls along with about 12 other females of all ages are in the women's shower room off the pool. Myself and my girls are in the first changing area near the door but all four of us do not fit hidden well in this cubby. So my brother hears my voice from outside the door and thought it a good idea to open the door to the women's family shower room and peek his head in and roar and laugh then poke his head back out. He does not have a history in good common sense and because of this he dies not understand how his actions could have landed him in jail. 12 years ago when he was 23 he was arrested, charged, and pled no contesto to a crime which labeled him as a sex offender. He did not know at the time but it's no excuse now that he does know, or does he. When he was 23 he had a girlfriend with a daughter and he peed outside resulting in the daughter seeing him and in conversation told her father that she had seen his penis. Not thinking that normal people don't think that just because you have your back turned means that a 6 year old can't see you. Not thinking that what if it was not me on the other side of that shower room door at the YMCA and a stranger with her female child. |

We had an argument earlier because it s the 6 week holiday and she was saying it s going to be this **** for another 4 weeks, we never do anything, it s crap, it s boring I hate it etc. Here s the thing, We take the kids on days out to the seaside and swimming and we get takeaways and spend about £50 on nice treats for dinner but she is always saying how we never go on holiday, how all her mates are on holiday in hot places like Egypt and Turkey whilst she s stuck at home, b she says it in more nasty ways which I m not even going to repeat, I pretend it doesn t bother me but it really does because she has a £250 iPad mini, an iPhone 5 and her very own windows 8 laptop, she always has 1 huge wardrobe full of nice clothes and she has nice expensive trainers like Nike huaraches and Adidas superstars and converse, This year on her birthday she got £200 and a £150 tracksuit that she moaned about wanting but hardly ever wears it, She has 3 meals a day and nice snacks and we give her money to go places for the day but it s never enough and it upsets me and my partner a lot and it's causing me and my partner to argue, please help! |

I deeply regret ever knowing this person, and I deeply regret ever telling this person good advice to improve their health. Posted: 31 Jul 2015 09:20 AM PDT Ok so I have 2 older sisters both about 23 years old(Drew and Alyssa) and I am 13 years old almost 14 but they both work 2nd shift and they really don't like passing gas in public so they hold in their farts all day and wait till they get home at about the same time which is like midnight and they will pick me up throw me over their shoulders throw me down and one will sit on my face and fart! Keep in mind that that they weigh both around 210 but are not fat really just a bit chuncky and I weigh around 100-110. One sits on my stomach and one on my face, drew goes first and whatever she eats makes her farts like really juicy and smells awful and then when she lets all her gas out its Alyssa's turn and hers are not as bad as drews but still really bad! If I try to make them get off of me they bully me even more like last night they both did the "typewriter" on me which is their knees sit on my elbows and both pound on my breast! The only time they let me up from farting is if I throw up which has happened a couple of times.. When I tell my parents what happens they just laugh and say they don't believe me or that's just what siblings do! But is that what siblings do?? Any advise???? |

I don't think he has ever been there for me like a real father. I hadn't started hating my mother until recently. I thought she was the coolest mom ever. Seemed she actually really cared for me. I feel like both of my parents treat me like I'm a possession of theirs and not an individual. If I do something they don't like, or want to take up an interest they're not interested in, they say no, then talk of how I want everything and I'm a super awful daughter. Currently, I'm just really mad because I just asked my mom for a nose piercing and she said no because it "will make me look trashy" etc etc. I'm not mad because she said no to the piercing. I'm mad because every other time I want my parents to be parents, they aren't. I cry to them about how sad I am, they don't care. I cry about how much I hate my body, they don't care. I cry to them about how I am having trouble with my sexuality and I want their support, they tell me of how disappointed they'll be if I turn out anything but straight. When I first got street harassed by a few men(I was 12) I cried and they didn't care. Sometimes they even try to spin the blame on me. My dad is an alcoholic and I cannot continue living in my parents house because I am afraid that I will come home from work or school one day and find my father dead. He has a serious heart condition but my mom and I cannot convince him to go into treatment. Living at home causes me daily stress and extreme anxiety. I have many sleepless nights because I am afraid that if I go to sleep my mom will wake up and discover my dad is not breathing. I do have friends willing to take me in since I could not afford an apartment without roommates. Would I be able to move out of the house without going through the work of being emancipated? And would I still have to be under my moms insurance since I am not yet 18? I feel that I would do better and live a better life if I was not constantly in the middle of my parents arguing and witnessing my dads alcoholism. |

Even if I ask in the nicest way and not expect anything out of it. Well I'm taking my drivers test in two weeks and if I get my license I would love to have a car with it. My mom told me if I pay for half of the car, she will pay for the other half. So I've been saving up my money since last year. I found my dream car yesterday. It's the car I've always wanted since I was little. It's $5495. The only problem is I only have $2000. I really want this car and I'm afraid if I wait any longer it will be sold. I asked my mom about it and she got kind of mad thinking that it would be okay for her to pay the rest of it, even though I offered to give her ever paycheck of mine until it's paid off. And it makes me upset because she gave my brother a thousand extra and let him pay it back. And she told my other brother that if he doesn't have enough then she can just pay for the rest. A couple days ago, my parents lost their temper on me and my brother because of college and jobs. It got so out of hand because my brother and I were trying to tell them that world is different now in days then it was 50 years ago with college, much more expensive, not so easy, jobs etc. but I feel as if they are trapped in their mind and don't understand us at all. So this is when things start to heat up, my mom is yelling really loud and my dad was too. My brother couldn't talk to them so he walked away. Then all of a sudden my dad looks at me like a psychopathy and looks at my brother then chases after him so I said to my brother, HEY watch out hes going crazy so they both dart up the stairs and thankfully my brother locks the door and IHAVE it RECORDED!!! of what my dad is saying, here for instance, "OPEN THE DOOR!!!! OPEN THE ******* DOOORRR!!! BANG BANG ON THE DOOR COME THE ****** BACKK HERE YOU ******!!! and minutes later he opens the door and my brother was in panic.The reason he chased him. He starts emotionally abusing me and my brother like a phyco he is. So I called the cops and ran away, they came to me with not much of help. Days later back home, My mom is threatening when i turn 18 in a few months you'll be on the street and you have NO privellages. In the end, I feel they are satans children? What should I do? They thinks it's funny when we are upset too, I got an interview for a job but it ended quickly because i wasn't 18! I applied to 20 jobs. This isn't a fair start to me nor my older brother! My room is being painted so all my stuff is in our guest room so we have my brothers room, parents room, and living room. Plus, we have to clear out the guest room because my grandma and grandpa are coming with them and they're old and need a bed. So, with one king bed, one queen bed, two twin beds, a futon, and one large couch, we have to sleep my parents, grandparents, two older brothers, three cousins and their parents; as well as my friends and me. Plus, my grandparents have to bring their two little dogs but we already have one little dog, 2 big dogs, and a cat. Then my youngest cousin is allergic to animals, all of them can't have dairy products, plus 2 are vegetarians and ones a vegan. And they are all slobs!!!!! HELP?!?!?!?!?! |

My aunt and uncle are some of the hardest working people I know and they both make a pretty good salary- but. We live in a trailer park. It's a very... mixed living space. Some of the people here aren't any good and some of the people here are RNs that are single mothers that live in a highly maintained trailer and if you saw them in the general public you'd think they live in one of those huge nice neighborhoods. It's very diverse to say at the least. I live in Williamsburg, Virginia. Most of the kids at my high school live in these huge brick houses and their parents drive brand new BMWs and Mercedes'. My aunt and uncle are average people except where we live, in my opinion. tl;dr I'm embarrassed to let anyone know where I live, some friends are supposed to be picking me up for a birthday party tomorrow and I've been hesitant on even going because I don't want them to think differently of me based on where and how I live. Granted, the specific trailer we live in is nice but that doesn't mean the neighbors are. I don't think my friends were really be judgmental about it, But I don't know that their parents won't be. What if they don't want their kids hanging out with me? I'm sorry if I came off as an ahole in this, I'm stressing out about what they'll think. The real question: Why did people attach stigma as such to people who live in these places? |

If we finish her homework late she spends the night a my house and I take her to school the next morning. She told me she was a nervous wreck from her mom and dad fighting all the time and they were getting a divorce. She wanted to stay with me until the divorce was final. I told her that was OK with me but she needed her parents OK which I thought would not happen. However her parents thought it was best for her not to see them fighting all the time and agreed they could stay with me until there divorce was final. I was very surprised by their decision but I think they were thinking of what their fighting was doing to Jill. Jill moved in with me and has been living with me for 2 months. She is a very nice person and is no longer depressed. We have had a lot of fun time together going to school events and sporting events. Jill ask me if I would adopt her so she could stay with me permanently. I told her that I doubt if her parents would let that happen. I don't know if you can adopt someone that has living parents. Ever since then, he has been in contact with me but, he keeps texting and calling a lot and it's getting a little bit overbearing. I mean, I enjoy getting to know him and I don't have anything against the man but, I sometimes want peace and quiet as I'm honestly not really a texting or talk on the phone type of person. I live my own life and work my two jobs and he always calls during my lunch hour when I nap or I simply feel like relaxing without disruptions, you know. I also feel like with all my life not knowing him I'm suddenly being bombarded by him as well and it's a little too much sometimes. I also have to keep him a secret from my mother as they are estranged and haven't spoken for over 30 years. I am aware that in the past he has done some really f*cked up stuff like being abusive but, he has wised up. Unfortunately, for my mom he really hurt her a lot and she can't bare to talk to him again. I haven't gotten my courage up to tell her yet since I'm afraid she will be upset with me and I'm not ready to deal with all that. I feel kinda bad As for my grandpa, I don't really have intentions of being too close with him either and I think talking once a week or even a month would be enough. Posted: 31 Jul 2015 06:57 AM PDT I am an adult and so I know I should be able to take care of this problem myself, but I have autism spectrum disorder and have a lot of difficulties because of it, many of which I don't understand, but I know they are there if that makes sense. I'm an adult, 23, and I live with my parents. My mom is very abusive and will berate me for long periods, sometimes daily. I'm frightened of her. She threatens me a lot that she will make me homeless and that I'm not a man and stuff. I know I'm not a man and I will probably never be but it makes me feel really bad. She also tells me about how her life and the rest of my family's life would be much better if it wern't for me. Should I just leave and be homeless? I don't know where to draw the line and take homelessness rather than the mind torture. Well I don't have a "case worker". And I live pretty far from places that could give me work. I used to have a car that I bought but my parents made me sign it over to them so now I just have my bike. I will try to get a job that I can get to with my bike and man up. This summer my mom and the two other ladies have complained to me how my cousin's child tortures my child and even get pleasure out of it including when he get's in trouble (he's definitely not an angel and I have gave all the employees the the authority to correct him and make him behave). Yesterday my son used a phone without permission belonging to one of the ladies, they got on to him and explained why that was a big no no (he was trying to call the child's mother to tell that they were not sharing). Well my aunt came out after he was already got on to and told him he wasn't allowed to come back for a week. Which did not sit well with the ladies that worked their b/c they feel like the other girl's behavior is way worse even though they both have their moments. the child seems to lie, be mean to all the children that come in there including physically hurting them, she gets pleasure out of seeing the other kids get in trouble, constantly brags about how everything she has is better than theirs. ect I went to my child's fb page yesterday and found a message the child's mother wrote to my son about how her child doesn't have to share their things b/c my son is mean to them. I responded back her child was to blame also now as you can imagine things are getting out of hand. How can a defuse this issue before things get out of hand but still defend my child? |

I'm 15 years old and I'm not sure how long he's been beating her but I just started seeing it and hearing it this past month or so. This morning my dad left for work and my mom wasn't downstairs yet and that's not normal for her because usually she's the first one up so I went and knocked on her room door. It sounded like she was crying when she told me to come in so I asked her what was wrong. And she said "Brandon go downstairs in my purse and take some money out and take your brother to Dunkin Donuts to get some breakfast please" I asked her what was wrong again and she yelled at me "Brandon just do what I say!" And she started really crying and she turned around and slammed the door. So me and my brother walked to get breakfast and when we came back my mom was in the bathroom throwing up and crying. When she came out of the bathroom she had a busted lip and she had a bruise on her shoulder and she went back in her room and slept for basically the rest of the day. The other night they were arguing in their room and my mom was yelling at him and he started yelling at her and then my mom started screaming stop. When my dad does that sometimes I feel so pissed that I end up getting in fights with him. He also suffers from regular mini strokes and isn't in the greatest of health in general. We all had a rough idea he probably had Parkinson's due to his tremors that have developed but it was still hard to hear the diagnosis and hit us like a tonne of bricks even though we knew it was most likely coming. So my mum called me with the news and I immediately told my partner and said how sad I felt and how worried I am for him and for my mum, caring for him and he came out with "you knew it was coming. It was like your papa with his cancer all over again. Geez" (my papa had cancer a few years ago and we all knew he had it but it was still hard to hear when it was confirmed) He made this reference no less than 5 times in about half an hour and when I was on the phone to my gran telling her about my stepdad's diagnosis, I told her "yeah its not a shock but still really hard to hear" and he said "FFS you already knew he had it pretty much" even though I was talking to my gran on the phone, not him. This really annoyed and hurt me. He doesn't see what the hell he has done. He couldn't even say "I'm really sorry to hear about your stepdad, here is a hug". I got zero comfort from him whatsoever. I have tried to talk to him about how I feel about this but he just told me to F off and how I am though the bedroom on my laptop while he stays in the livingroom. They come late at night & they'll smoke in the backyard and drink in the frontroom. So if he wants another beer and I don't get him that beer he hits me hard until I go get it and now his friends will tell me to do the same and they're bigger than me too, they don't really hit me but they'll shove me around or get in my face or threaten to beat me up if I don't do it and I get scared so I do it. I'm 14. My brothers 16 and I think his friends are a bit older. Its more than embarrassing and every time he has friends over I lock myself in my room and he'll bang on the door and say if I don't come out he's gonna make me regret it when they go & they come really late so i can't just leave. My only way out is that he only has his friends over when my oldest brother isn't home cause he know he won't allow it (he's 25 &it's his house).
