I try to stay happy infront of everyone and make them smile. But my darkest secret that I've never told anyone is I am massively depressed. I act strong infront of people but I'm really tired now. I lost my mom a year ago too. I've got an amazing boyfriend who has always supported me and loves me with all his heart. But where I'm from I'm not able to meet him so often. I meet him after 3 or 4 months with risks and hurry. We always fight over this. He has been comprising this for more than 3 years now. And I feel like I'm pushing him away from me. As if all of this is happening because if me. We hardly talk now. He thinks I don't love him anymore. I spend most of the time with my family and he gets really sad. He thinks that he's not important to me. On the other hand, I have issues with my dad. My step mom tells him lies about me and now my dad has a bad image about me. He also fought with me for his new wife. He said a lot of things which he shouldn't have. Just for his wife. And not just once. He fought a lot of times. I have no friends. Like seriously no friends. All that I had were fake. Totally fake. They backbited about me. They're all selfish. They never treat me the way they treat their other friends. I changed my school because of them. I don't want them because they're just too fake. Not my real friends. |

I recently had an interaction that didn't make any sense to be anxious about. Ill start off with this... I met a new friend in a summer school class I had to attend to this year. I could talk with no problem and felt very comfortable around him. I went out to eat by myself at McDonalds and got the usual stuff. About half way through my meal, I saw the friend that I met in summer school. He saw me, waved, then started heading towards the table I was sitting at. I became tense and started sweating. He plopped in the seat in front of me and asked how i was doing. I felt my face going bright red and I tried to relax but I couldn't. I had a really hard time keeping a conversation going and it was just soooo awkward. The funny thing is that at summer school I could hold a conversation for hours with him but when I met him again outside of summer school I couldn't hold it for more than 10 mins. I made an excuse to leave because I didn't feel comfortable at all. Why is it that i get anxious at absolutely nothing.... Why can't I be like a normal person who can talk with no problem. Anyways thanks for reading my question sorry for the story being really choppy tl;dr I met a friend in summer school, could talk to him with no problem. I was with other friends they were sitting down on the side walk talking. So when i went behind the house and came back to where they were gone. I didn't know where they went. So I wen't backwards around the back of the house. They were right there again. same position didn't even move so i tested it again they vanished and went back there were back. I'm from Phoenix, AZ. I've notice that everywhere I've ever visited I can make friends quite easily, but up here I just have the hardest time meeting anybody. Ive been here for 6 months and I'm 20 years old and where I live is a college town so I can understand that I'm not old enough to go to bars but idk if that should be the reason I'm not making any friends. My gf and I just broke up of 2 years of a **** relationship and I'm very bored and have been depressed with the fact that my weekend is spent doing literally nothing at all. I'm not really into fishing or hiking and even when I try it everyone I do meet is like 45 years old or 16 years old. I've met some chill people but the one lives like 40 miles away, and the others are 25 ish so what could we do? I can't go to the bar with them so Idk. I'd really want to hit these clubs up around here but same reason. Im not throwing 50k a year to smoke the legal bud as much as i want to so i cant meet people at the tree shop. What I'd really like to do is go party in canada (I'm legal drinking age there and it's closer than seattle lol) But I'm not trying to go by myself. I mean i just refuse to believe that it's this hard to make some good friends. Any suggestions? Use to call me about 50+ times a day and send 50+ text messages with nothing but insults. I got a blocker app for my phone, but they just continued on twitter and facebook so i made my accounts private, then they made fake twitter accounts, adding my friends and acquaintances,w/my pictures and tweeted insults about me. They've stopped that and lost my cell #, asked around pretending to be a friend and got it again despite me telling people not to give out my #, so no point changing my cell #. Making a police report wont do anything, my friend did that when they started bothering her and the police did nothing. The insults themselves don't bother me im just annoyed at this point with having to constantly deal w/a ton of voicemails and going through blocker apps that never work. So is there a way for me to track this person down? |

She is overwhelmed with work and graduate school and has a lot of family problems to the point where her dad was just hospitalized for another suicide attempt. While I was hugging her yesterday as she cried about her dad, she pulled away and started kissing me. But recently, I literally have had NO confidence in front of my friends, school etc. I've just finished my first year of high school. In front of my family (cousins and stuff) I'm so much more confident and I feel like I can be myself with them and they wont judge me (which they don't) When I was in primary it was better, I had friends that I was closer with and was quite good at P.E. Also, I wouldn't be afraid to show my legs (wear shorts during P.E, dresses without tights.) which I'm very insecure about now. I'm smart, good at art and people have told me I'm pretty too. However, sometimes my friends call me fat and that really lowers my confidence greatly. I was weighed not too long ago and I was average weight and since then I have actually LOST weight. My friends are all really skinny, popular and good at P.E. I guess I feel lesser than them. Sports are a big thing because though I'm quite a fast runner and good at basketball, I've never felt like I can DO it. My friends are all SO athletic. Sometimes this one friend will ignore me for no particular reason and make me feel like lesser than her since she's super popular and perfect and everyone loves her I feel like I need to IMPRESS her and I cannot be myself around her!I mean, even my friends know how insecure I am. We were having issues on the business side of things. Tom said I can't work with you anymore Ryan Tom was the team leader/manager. The business fall out was that I wasn't producing the amount of revenue he expected for those on his particular team. Tom took a vacation from work at the finance company we are at together so he hasn't been in the office for weeks. I called Tom to ask where we stand and if we are still friends or what. He wasnt answering my calls or text messages for the 5 weeks that he was on vacation from work from the finance company. So I showed up at his family restaurant unannounced and Tom says to me I feel like I am being harassed right now and I am borderline going to call the cops. I said to Tom, so I am not a friend then since I came to hash things out and you want to say I am harassing you and you are going to call the cops. Then me and Tom spoke for like 20 minutes. Tom then said I am still your friend we just need to separate our teams from a business aspect. Then Tom says I still invite you out to family events and I will go get dinner with you sometime. Then he hugged me and said are we good? I mean would a real friend mention calling the cops? Tom going on vacation for 5 weeks had nothing to do with our business fall out. Towards the very end of my confrontation with him outside the restaurant :Tom gave me a hug before I left, offered me a bottle of water, and Tom said to me are we good? |

Posted: 24 Jul 2015 02:04 PM PDT I was cycling home from work today and went on the pavement just to avoid a busy junction as it was raining hard and I can't ride with just one hand and therefore indicate. On the pavement was a 30/40y.o. man rushing for his train. I stopped and smiled at him to let him go past. Instead of walking past like a normal person, he shouted "this is called the pavement!", walked straight into me. I got bodyslammed and hit in the face with his umbrella and would have fallen if not for the fence next to me. I'm a 19 year old girl. I told my friends what happened later. Most of them were just as shocked as me, commented on how rude the guy was and asked if I was okay. However, once of my closest friends went "well you shouldn't have been on the pavement because that's what happens." I was so upset. I don't understand how you can consider yourself someone's friend and then side with the attacker when someone is violent to them on the street. I think this is a sign that I could do without this person in my life, but I'm having a hard time mentally coming to terms with the fact that they're so uncaring. I don't intend to contact them again. |

She threatened me to drop him without delay when she heard of it, or else she wouldn't speak to me. Ultimately I didn't and she stopped talking to me and blocked me on facebook. She's still good friends with my boyfriend. Though her original logic in pushing me to drop him was because he was "bad" and didn't deserve me. What's more, I had met another close friend through my best friend and we used to hang out in a group. This friend stopped answering my calls or texts. Even though I tried ringing him up several times, he just doesn't seem interested. I can't seem to find out what is wrong. Why are both my friends good buddies with my boyfriend when they allegedly dropped me because of him? |

I just want a happy life, like my friend. In 5th grade, I did horrible things. I stole, cheated on tests. I did it because I wanted to rebel. But what I got instead was big trouble. My actions were dumb and I regret. Everyone hates me except for my family and friends. (Mostly just my friends parents) I'm just saying, my life is sad. Two weeks ago we all agreed we would do it on the 24th because it's in between my birthday and hers. She decided yesterday that her and her boyfriend were going to the mountains on the 24th when we were going to celebrate our birthdays. She told everyone but me that we would celebrate our birthdays on the day after the 24th which is my birthday. I can't go because I already made plans with my family that are going to go on all day. My friends decided they're going to celebrate without me since I'll be busy. I feel like she did it on purpose because she knows I always spend the whole day with my family. I don't know why she doesn't want me there. I wish my friends would've asked me if there was a day for me to go with them. I loved him so much,I really thought we would've gotten married. After high school he joined the Marines. He had told me about this about spring break,after a while I accepted the idea,it was hard though. He was killed in action in Iraq in spring of 2004. About 2 weeks before it happened we had briefly talked and had a fight over the phone, but I remember clearly yelling at him and telling him I wanted a break from the relationship. Now after all this time it still makes me cry so hard that he died knowing I was mad at him. From time to time people who with us in high school post his pictures saying things like "miss you buddy" or actually his dad too posted a picture today of him saying "I miss you so much son". I've decided to go to a psychiatrist,but does it really work? I just want to feel better but there are so many things that make me think of him and I don't know if I'll ever be able to get over him and find another guy. I don't want your pity but honest answers would be appreciated. |

I soon found out that she's so fake and such a terrible person. She purposely breaks people up&tries to ruin their lives. She split two couples up one was almost a year and the other about a half a year. She tells me and my best friend to rot in hell&tell us to kill ourselves constantly. She lies24/7&shes stabbed be in the back so many times. Shes the type of purpose to spread rumors and she's drama thirsty. Always looking for trouble. She won't leave me alone. She's just..Ugh.Honestly the worst person I have ever met. I want to teach her a lesson.If she does anything I want to be able to hit her. Like punching wise. She's one of those people who talks and says they'll beat any one up but runs and hides and gets people to take her side. Mostly by lying. She isn't that strong but I've never seen her fight. One time we joked around and had a "play fight"but I won. She is a little bit bigger than me, I'm a junior&so is she. But I'm 5'2 and she's probably 5'4, 5'5. Don't tell me that violence isn't the answer because that was always my motto but if you've met her&heard everything she did then you'd want to teach her a lesson too. She purposely tries to ruin people's lives and she killed my best friend. Not legitimately.. But she's depressed now and is suicidal and it's all her fault. She deserves to pay. She left my birthday dinner an hour early to hangout with her new friends and blamed it on how it was because her mom wouldnt allow her to stay... complete bullshit.
