Okay, I live with family at my apartment. I bought my portable ac because we don't use the central air. my uncle, he pays my roommates rent not mine, found out and he tried to convince me out of it. First off, I am male, 21 yrs old. I am a fairly morally lax person. I don't do things in contrast to the foundations of what society says is appropriate (murder, rape, etc), but I don't have qualms with lying as I use it for convenience. When I look at the world, I see one consumed by greed and a self-centric mindset. It angers me that people cannot seem to see past themselves (those who propagate war and senseless violence). And when people fail at "bad" things, they feel guilt. I've never felt guilt so I suppose I cannot truly understand, but it seems worthless. Stand by your decisions in knowledge of the possible outcomes. I consider as many outcomes as I can and always try to make sure I do not inconvenience other people, but I am always prepared to pay for my actions. Logic rules my life and I don't do things unless I find them interesting, amusing, or if I feel a real sense of duty. This is where my problems start because I simply don't understand the minds of the people who surround me and so I have to do things based on examples from books/movies and my very few friends. Anyway, I just feel I don't belong. I know a lot of people that are intelligent and polite, but I feel we lack a fundamental understanding of each other. This has always led me to be reserved and in fear of people (I've been betrayed many times in my life). Is there a way to bridge this understanding gap? This question has been running around my mind for a long time now, but I never had a courage to talk about it. Hi everyone here's the deal: I met this new guy friend let's call him Rocky. Rocky was first referring me to his company for a possible job but we became friends through that. So my two best friends (let's call them L and Z) and I hang out a lot, but when we do I seem to be the one who gets teased constantly. We all went to camp for a week, and they were all convinced that I liked some guy that I didn't even know the name of. When I tried to join, they refused unless I took away the intelligence of my character. I did, but they still didn't let me play. They always decide things for me without my consent. L was telling me to ignore Z later, when she was clearly in on the teasing! Z favors L, but they are good friends sometimes, and told me that I mean a lot to them. I don't know what to think! They are nice to me sometimes and want to hang out with me, but they act like they like each other more than they like me. For example, if someone asked us all to partner up they would most likely pick each other instantly. And I was the one who introduced them to each other! And, it's usually if it's only all three of us hanging out together. If it's one on one they don't tease, and are quite nice. But when they're together they act as if I'm the enemy and they must stick together and leave me out as much as possible.

He believes I cheated on him because I hid interactions with male coworker/friends. I think my male roommate did something to my shoe. I was getting ready for work this morning and slid my shoes on. In my left shoe i felt some cold, wet substance soak through my sock. I took my shoe off and there was some sticky somewhat clear slightly yellow substance crusted all up in my shoe. I don't know what it is. Should I confront him about it? There is no other possible explanation as to how it got stuff in it and it felt honestly disgusting when it went between my toes.

I am 18 years old. My parents are overly protective of me Every time I order something for myself, they tell me "you shouldn't be ordering stuff without my permission, i need to start checking your bank account." I always say no your not checking my bank account and I don't need your permission anymore I am 18! They also think they can keep me from leaving my job for a new opportunity. After working at the same grocery store for almost 3 years i want to change it up a little bit. My mom wont let me go on a trip to EAA Airventure next year. My little brother is sixteen and has an anxiety disorder (he's had it since he was a kid. He came from an abusive home and my parents adopted him). Anyway, he takes medication and stuff, but sometimes he still gets anxiety attacks and last night he had a nightmare that brought on an attack while I wasn't home to help him and I got a call from him while I was out and he was panicked and crying. He had taken my dad's car (both my parents are away) and drove it and somehow blocked it all out. He called me from a parking lot and said he didn't remember driving there. All he remembered was waking up from his nightmare and feeling so panicked that he needed to leave. He doesn't have a license and he doesn't ever drive because it gives him anxiety. I picked him up and got him to breathe and calm down. He's better today and we talked about what happened, but I'm seriously freaked out. He's never had this happen before where he lost a chunk of time. Is his anxiety getting worse? What do I do? What happens if he ends up doing this again and gets lost or hurt? I mean, he wasn't even wearing shoes when I found him. I don't know what to do. Help?

So, my mom raised me Catholic (she is die-hard Catholic) and I broke away from Catholicism around the 7th grade. So it all started when the school year started. She was really nice to everyone except for the Jews in the class. I think I was the only one who noticed.
