Bare in mind at the time she began dating someone. She would randomly ask me for hugs saying she's "a hugger" as well. Then there was the time she was going to dye her hair and asked me which colour she should go for and I said blonde - she said it was blonde before but a week later her hair was blonde. We also exchanged numbers and would text quite often, with her starting the conversation most times and she'd often randomly text me asking me to walk home with her after school (her old school is 2 minutes away from mine). There was also one time when her friend (a girl) was over and and we were all hanging out at her house house. Whenever they went upstairs, she didn't want me to go up with them (saying she didn't want a guy in her room) and they stayed up there talking and she kept seeming to try and show off in front of her friend. Also, there was one night where her and I were talking and another girl came along and started talking to her in private for roughly 30-45 minutes. My boyfriend was the one who broke up with me, because I was too clingy, and I always corrected everything he said, paranoid about everything, and had weird fetishes with his feet, and claimed we were too young and that the relationship wasn't serious, and that we'll eventually find people who we will both live with forever and low (we've had been dating for a year and a half, and he wouldn't have sex with me...). I was really insulted and was hurt for a while, but my best friend cheered me up and I got over him. Little did I know she only cheered me up because she wanted to be with him. It wasn't until yesterday, that I looked over her shoulder and I saw her texting him. A week ago, she told me that she started talking to a old friend who she stopped talking to, and I told her I was so happy that she could become friends again, but I then found out that 'old friend' was my ex. I can't believe she lied to me and would do that. I thought there was a girl code or something between us. I'm very hurt, and don't know what to do... She says that, she has only started liking him recently, but I doubt that. Do you think my boyfriend broke up with me for her? The 1st time he saw me he stopped walking and stared at me and I pretended I didn´t notice. He never says "hi"and he seems snobbish and I´m really nice so now I ignore him. The other day he was making a presentation and then he asked a question to the class and I answered (I´m in the front row so he looked at me for some time and just ignored me and then asked other girl, and my answer was correct). The worst thing is that it wasn´t the 1st time. Because of that I ignore his presentations and sometimes when I look up I see him looking at me (there were times when he locked eyes with me for a long time). The other day I made a group presentation and I notice that he was looking at me and I looked at him, and then everybody said how great I was and when I was talking to a female friend (who made the presentation w/ me) he said to her "you were amazing in the presentation.." and smiled at her and ignored me complemently. And then he said some bad things about my group presentation to other people (not about me directly) ...the worst thing he´s that I catch him looking at me when I´m distracted, I ignore it. Once I was coming into a room and he was behind me w/ a friend and I looked back and he was staring at me, I just looked away. he always compliments other girls(specially a girl who is really pretty). A few days ago we were at work and comes in sat down on another bench then me. He said hi to me and asked me how I was doing and about school. He was talking quieter and I don't know maybe I was too. But I replied and said it was going good then asked the same to him and he said good but it was awkward because I kind of messed up my words and was like what? I couldn't understand him. It was a little awkward but I was still looking at him smiling a little. He was looking at me talk then kind of looked away and smirked (you could see his teeth) and then he looked down. So I don't know if he thought that was somehow cute or totally weird and awkward or if he was cringing inside.. My gut tells me he likes me but I don't know.. He does smile around me a lot, tends to be around me, helps me, sometimes hugs me, says my name a lot etc. So what do y'all think he was thinking? Thanks so much |

Posted: 31 Oct 2015 06:44 PM PDT My ex-bf left me 9 months ago when he was overseas on uni exchange, after a long, strong, happy and solid relationship that we both knew was going to last. Long story short, he didn t even end things with me, he just never replied one day and blocked me & my family on everything. He lives about 20 mins away from me, same university etc. but I haven t seen him since. It s been 9 months, and he hasn t said anything to me, my family and I are still blocked on everything. It was extremely sudden & unexpected as we were stable and he made it clear to me leaving me was never something he d ever want to do. Basically, it s been just over 9 months and I m not over it at all. For the past 2 weeks particularly I ve been dreaming about him / us every night, I still cry myself to sleep some nights & I think about it all the time. I ve done everything from new hobbies (I started martial arts & swimming) to making new friends, concentrating on studies, got a new job etc. but 9 months later and I m still really, really upset. Do you have any idea on how I can get over this? Usually I d think that this is because to me it s unfinished and I got no closure, but I can t contact him as I m blocked on everything and he wouldn t reply anyway. I ve even thought of going to see him at home just to get closure but it s a bit extreme & he probably would not answer the door anyway if he s blocked me on everything. His best friend growing up was his cousin, she died in an accident 4 years ago. Hes damaged&rightfully so. Do You think he's afraid to make new relationships cause of the past?
