I feel like people will think positive of me when they see me surrounded by people. I start feeling nervous and scared when I'm by myself and someone makes eye contact with me or glances my way because it makes me feel like they are thinking badly of me or making fun of me. He would call to make sure that I made it home when I drove to see him, and he would call every day or so. Over the past few weeks though, the communication has decreased a lot even though he still acts the same when we get together in person. I noticed that he didn't call to see if I made it back home the last time I went to see him, and over the past several days, he hasn't called and barely sent any texts. In the past he would ask about my day every day, but lately even if I initiate a text asking how he is he won't even ask how I'm doing. Does this mean that he is losing interest in the relationship or that worse yet maybe he has another girl on the side? How is the best way for me to find out what is going on or if he is just busy and not being a good communicator? It is like I almost don't have a boyfriend at all anymore.:( What should I do? |

The issue I had with him is that he was not very communicative. We would see each other once a week, go out to dinner, spend time together but throughout the week he would barely text me. It's like he would not let me in. We lasted about 3 months and during that period I kept asking him if he wanted to still be together, bc his words were seeing yes, but his actions or lack of them showed me otherwise. Before we got to the point of breaking up, I 'd try and talk to him and he would just keep saying how he wasn't a big texter. He introduced me to his friends (married couplesa) and things went well with them, but I just felt that he was emotionally distant. He finally asked for a break and then said to me 3 days later how i was great but he could not make me happy and how we should stop seeing each other. I didn't understand it bc I couldnt get how I am was supposed to be happy with seeing him once a wk. and barely hearing from him. He also had not been in a relationship for for about 3 years and said it was hard planning things every weekend This guy by the way was in his early 40's never married, never been in a relationship that lasted 6 months, never cohabitated. I'm a sophomore in high school, which I know is young, but literally everyone else in my school has boys who are interested in them, or at least are friends with boys. Although I'm kind of used to staying home when my friends are on double dates and picking out homecoming dresses only to not be asked, I don't want to be single forever. In middle school I just promised myself that high school would be better, and now I see that's definitely not true. Not to long after that, this girl got really flirty with me. Once I saw that there was no fixing my relationship, i turned to this other girl and started flirting back. The cause of my relationship falling apart was not this girl, just for the record. I tried to fix my relationship, but eventually it was hopeless. So today i broke up with my GF and was going to give it a few weeks before asking this next girl out. There is no doubt in my mind this girl likes me and i honestly have never felt like this about any girl. Today when i went to text her, we were texting for about 30 mins, then she said she'd text me in a bit because a movie she was at was getting to a good part. I happened to ask if she was with some people we know, and she said no, she was with a date. I dont think ive ever had my heart sink as fast as it did. Granted it was the first date and anything can happen from here, how do i go about this. I want her to be happy with whoever, but at the same time, ive had 5 GF's and never felt this strong about any of them. Would it be stupid if i told her how i really felt about her? We've hung out in groups of friends before, but never actually really knew each-other. I was put in a group with her recently to do some work in class, and we were having a decent time making small talk about school. Then, during a socratic seminar, we happened to be sitting next to each-other, where we also made small talk about the seminar. We were making eye contact most of the time, and I think that I've really started to fall for her. I want to ask her out, but there's always negatives. If she rejects me, It'll be the awkward "you get to see her every day at school and pass each other in the hall and glimpse/ wave at each-other with a confused look on your faces". We sit dead across from each-other in History, and we would be looking at each-other the whole time, too. She then sits in front of me in band, and etcetera. I'm worried not about rejection, but the awkwardness that comes along. The other big thing is that I acted immaturely with my group of pals last year in some classes (but I've gotten better), and at least two of her close friends have witnessed that. Could it be likely that they'll change her mind about saying "yes" if she does? We're both from good families, and both 15 year old Sophomores, and I really think I could get to know her. During our conversations he mentioned that he works a crazy schedule and goes to movies alone during the day...so I dunno if this was a "hey come to the movies with me" or not. I was ok in the beginning but then he started pulling my hair, choking me, slapping me, and calling me nasty names. I was uncomfortable with how it was going but I didn t say anything. The worst was when he started punching me in the back and head because I wasn t tight enough. It felt like it went on forever and I just wanted to cry. When he was done I didn t even get dressed all the way before I snuck out and drove off. I feel so disgusting but I don t even know what to call what happened. I went ahead and got checked out by a doctor who took pictures of the bruises I had and gave me prophylactics. He is a great guy, we have many things in common and he has so many qualities I would ever want in a guy. There s just a few issues.... His feet smell bad. Like, really bad. Gag worthy bad. You can smell them with his shoes on, but once he takes his shoes off, you wouldn t believe it. My whole apartment smells. It lingers. I ve had to wash my blankets, sheets, and pillows even after a few hours of him laying on them. He does not have a car. He has a license, but no car. He depends on rides from people-to and from work. Therefore, he often will work then go out with his friends, crash at their house (or mine) and depend on a ride to work the next morning. This means that he isn t packing fresh clothing, deodorant or toothpaste/brush. This could happen for like two days in a row. He "wings" it. He lives at home with family, he sleeps on his couch. Hygiene and driving is a serious deal breaker for me. I refuse to tolerate this smell. I am a very clean person; myself and home. I really like him though and before I realized these habits, we both made it known that we were interested in each other and wanted to peruse. |

Everything was good between us even though he was never the most affectionate man for me. I knew he loves me but he was never the emotionally loving one, unlike me. Lately he has been getting really angry with me for trying to cuddle, or kiss or anything. There are times where he plainly runs away from me if I want to have sex or makes excuses, yet I have to give in when he wants to. One time we got in an regiment and he said I want too much and I want to much affection from him. It s not all true! I see other couples and how natural it all looks but I never get that Ever. I have to be the first one to kiss and grab his hand or something. He still takes care of everything around the house and says that should be the only thing for me to worry about. I just don t get it, I tried to cuddle after a long week of him being gone on business he got so mad he went to sleep on the couch..I am a young and attractive woman, I have a lot of love for him. I don t know how to deal with this anymore. Any advice for me? |

I have a bf but we are in an LDR, and we rarely see each other. My friend sees her bf all the time, and whenever they do, she sends me snapchats of them kissing and cuddling. And the snapchats usually say something that makes me feel really lonely and upset. The whole entire picture thing makes me upset, it makes me miss my bf and wish we were together. What do I do? She's really hurting my feelings, but I feel even more terrible because I should be ecstatic that she has a bf. |
