So I'm new in school and my new friend and I have been talking over snapchat for about ten minutes. Thing is, I struggle with anxiety, so I'm getting kind of stressed trying to respond and keep the conversation flowing. The last thing she sent was laughing face and clapping hands emoji after I told her I had finally stopped procrastinating. I'm kind of ready to stop talking but I don't want to look rude! How can I end the convo without actually saying bye?

I dind't pass the 4th year of high school for two times so I left it, I'm trying with another school and I also failed it. My best friend was such an asshole to me and I keep thinking about it. Alright so there was this girl named Julie who used to be my friend, but we stopped being friends back in April because of a situation that happened. But what I don't get is, Julie swears up and down that she is straight and that she likes boys, but if she likes boys, why is she asking girls to have sex with her? And why is she telling girls it's okay to have sex with her?

I have an issue with my -ex-best friend. I let her down in the past because of this girl I was in love with. I feel bad and for months I've been telling my ex-best friend I'm sorry but she won't forgive. She keeps saying how much I hurt her and then I think what about me? But that's selfish of me so I let her go on. She replaced me with this other girl and said she's done trying with me but it's hard for me to let her go. I have been feeling really depressed lately. Kids at school ignore me including my own friends. I have only five friends. 4 boys and one girl. I told one of my friends that i have been cutting and she called me an attention whore. She says that i have no reason to be doing this and she had worse stuff happen to her in her past. One of my so called friends said that he couldn't be my friend anymore so I asked my parents about it and they said that they've been paying my friends family to spend time with me! I asked them why they did it and they both said that I've been spending to much time by myself unlike my sister who has so many friends. When I asked everyone why they had to pay to spend time with me they all said the same thing, that I was a boring antisocial rich kid! I'm crying so much because I drove away some of my old friends who did care about me and it turns out no one liked me. I miss my friend so much. She is like a big sister to me. I'm 15 and she is 19. We met last winter, and she left for college a couple months ago. I was new at my school last year, and in the 8th grade. (my school goes from preschool-12th grade) I spent the whole year trying to be friends with girls who didn't really like me. She was my first friend, and we got super close. I feel super lucky that I met her. I look up to her so much, and I know I can trust her. We both cried when we said goodbye to each other in August. It is so weird not seeing her in the senior hallway, and i'm still not used to it. I miss her hugs and being able to talk to her whenever I want too. I thought it wouldn't be as bad after some time passed, but i still miss her just as much. I worry she will forget me. I text her and I try to limit it to once a week. Its just sometimes I feel really alone, and she is the only person I have to talk too. She gives great advice, and she will make time to call and chat even if she is busy. She says not to feel like i am bothering her, but I always do. I can't help it! I don't want to be a pest. I always want to talk to her though. Is it annoying to just text her "hi"? I always feel like I need a reason. I also feel like it is up to me to keep our friendship. I know she is busy, and I feel like she will forget and I have to remember. I know she cares, but i feel like she will forget. How do I stay in touch without being a pest?

Okay I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I'm homeschooled and none of my neighbors have kids my age I 14. ever since ive moved here almost 4 yrs ago i could count the times ive been out with people on the finger of my hands and thats not ten times, more like 5 or less. i used to work in resorts and had to leave over two hip implants and a knee surgery, cant find a job right now so maybe thats part of it since i dont have that exposure to people as much, been going to school, but that dont mean ive made any friends there either. not even neighbors knock on my door to visit and ive been here almost 4 yrs, but they knock on other people's door, where i live you cant just volunteer to visit people in nursing homes, they just wont let you and they dont have a big sister program either, im kind of limited too cause of a bad knee. ive gone to this church for about 3 yrs and noone so much as asks me out for a cup of coffee, i miss places i used to live at , i was always visiting with friends or going places with them, even rented from them but here nada. its just getting old cause its going on 4 yrs, ive even tried switching churches but theyre all the same. noone ever asks me to do nothing with them, ever and forget the guys, i dont get asked out on dates either. im tired of being forced into living the life of a loner. any suggestions other than going to the pet store and buying a friend? ive considered that too but im out of work but then ive seen the homeless with pets so it makes me wonder if they can do it so can i.should i move back to where i used to live?

I used to be a very shy girl and have problems with communicating with others but since that I became very sociable at nearly 11 I got some friends they seemed nice we got along same thing at 12 years old then at 13 one of these friends left that wasn't a very big deal . So we became a group of 3 one was like the girl who left is worth both of you and other mean things . My friend is in a play. Opening night is November 4. She is a freshman in highschool and they want her to rehearse on Halloween from 9am to 9pm. Halloween is a holiday (one that my friend and I always spend together) and I m not sure if it s okay for her drama department to keep her 12 hours on a holiday. Anyway, her dad is picking us up later, but shes making him drop her at my house so she can stay over, then going home himself!! It's not that I dont like her, or don't like people staying over, it's just I feel like she constantly wants to be at my house and I want some time alone. She can't do anything without wanting a sleepover afterwards. I just really dont know how I can make her stop?

Someone anonymous created a "shipping" account for my school, basically people can send in ships of who they think would look cute together from school. I've never been on those pages before (there's been a lot) so I asked Friend A to send in me and someone else, I didn't care who and I didn't specifically tell her who AT ALL, just bc I thought it'd be funny. Friend A started squealing "omg you and Billy would be so cute!" I laughed and said "no thats gross he just sits near me in class" and we laughed and she sent it in anyway, to which I decided to get back at her and sent in her and her close guy friend. Later Friend A told them not to post that stuff that I sent in bc that's gross, however they still post the one A sent in of me and billy. basically, everyone commented "noooo" or "delete this" or "he has a girlfriend" which i totally did not know about. So, to have everyone forget about me and billy, i got my guy friend C to send in one of me and him just for fun, because the one of me and billy was starting to annoy me. They posted it, and nobody really commented. I thought it was over. Billy brought it up to me and I was like "ewww haha you have a gf" and pretty sure me & him are chill. I wasn't sure about his gf and her friends though bc I felt like something was gonna happen with them. Let me just say that I'm not popular, or dramatic, and I stay in the sidelines because it's better and I don't like fights that sort of stuff. Now that account got deleted. But another one took its place. This account has 3 parts: one side for haters, another for cool kids, the middle for couples. Basically, I was their first on the hater side. They put a skull next to the caption and everything, and soon this popular guy who's friends with Billy's gf started bagging on me all like "TRUE SHE'S IN SO MUCH SH*T AND SHE TRIES TOO HARD" and I've never even talked to him at all in my life, I thought we were chill but I guess not. He then said a bunch of other crap about me, and his friend started joining in and everyone thought it was funny. This hurt me pretty bad bc I've never been hated on before and I started wondering if it was MY fault, bc of that seemingly harmless funny picture of me and billy, or because of something else entirely that causes these popular kids to hate me for some reason. I told my friends, and 1 thought it was funny, the other said it'll blow over chill, the 3rd one said to ignore him, and the last one completely went off on them. At first I thought that was a good thing that my friend stood up for me, except for the fact that she doesn't live here anymore and what if those kids who retaliated back finds me at school and goes off on me instead of her, since they were basically fighting about me anyway? I have 2 options: 1) pretend I didn't see those comments of my friend and those kids fighting or 2) say something fair to end it like "guys relax this is over, and if it's not it will be nobody will remember or care". Is this MY fault of how it started? I'm sorta scared to go to school tmrw, I've never had any problems with anyone but looks like I do now. Idk what will happen. So I recently moved out of the house to go living on my own. My friend whom I've known for the past fifteen years, has been very supportive of me. I'm thirty-two and she's thirty, by the way. Anyway, she's helped me out by helping move my stuff into my new house. She also came over to cook for the first month, teaching me easy recipes, teaching me how to iron, clean, and so on. Recently my dog passed away, and having just bought a house, I couldn't afford the cremation and thus had the vet take her away to be destroyed. My friend called the vet behind my back and payed for the cremation and the urn behind my back because she knew how much my dog meant to me. Last time I was in another province and I was too late for the train I was supposed to take. So I had to stay in the railway station. She called me to ask me where I was and I said I was sleeping in the railway station so as to take the first train home. She sighed and asked me why I didn't call her. It was like two in the morning, I didn't want to wake her up. She said there's no way I would stay in a station all alone on her watch, so she came to pick me up, a two-hour drive (she did in an hour and a quarter of an hour). She told me that wherever I was and I was in trouble, I had her number. I asked her what she wanted in return and she said "don't dare spend any money on me, it's for the great guy you are". Still, I would like to return her kindness. Any ideas?

So my friend is really mean to her horse, her horses name is journey and journey gets 2 types of hay, and journey likes one type over the other. My friend gets really mad at journey when journey eats the kind of hay that she likes better. I was in the barn with my friend and my friend sees journey eating the food hay and she kicks journeys stomach like 4 times and journey looks terrified. Well my friend walked away and saw journey eating the good hay again, so this time she takes a lead rope and hits journeys barrel multiple times and journey is like sucking her stomach in and my friend is constantly hitting, kicking, and pinching journey, as well as jerking journeys head collar and smacking journeys nose with her hand, or a crop. Is this abuse? When I asked my friend why she beat journey up when journey ate hay, she said it was because she wants to teach journey "manners" journey isn't doing anything wrong!!! My friend is dangling carrots in front of journeys face and journey is almost taking a bite out of it and then she jerks the carrot away from journey!! Is this abuse? What should I do?!!

So, I am a college kid. A lonely one for that matter, with some minor mental problems and social problems. Sometimes being alone in a crowded room literally results in my choking myself, physically. So finding friends in college is really hard. But I have online friends. It was by chance at first but we have been together for over a year now. The thing is, it can be toxic between the people in our group, often. There is usually a lot of talking down and favoritism towards people in our group. They also think I'm naive, but I am always aware of when they talk down to me and insult me. I would always feel hurt, but I don't mention it to avoid any drama. They seem like they care about me as a person. But a majority of the time I do not feel it. Sometimes I feel like they do not understand me well, and the thoughts in my head make me feel like they are just using me, since they can be selective on who to play with. I even spent a few nights over the year choking myself to sleep because due to mental breakdowns they would cause me, but I never say or mention this or my problems at all to them. I don't know what to do. They are the only people I have. Yet I feel mixed whenever I am with them, like the feeling I have had with them last year is gone. Should I continue to be with them, or should I just move on into an unknown horizon?

Every time I go near them they say they have to go inside to eat and one of them even yelled, "She is outside that s why we are going inside!!" And they are like twice my age. I am 13 and they are 7,5,11, and 4. I don t know what I did but they said they aren t allowed to hang out with me. The thing that hurts me the most is that my brother can hang out with them and I think if I can t hang with them neither can my brother. Please help me. Feelings VERRRRY hurt 😪

So, I have a bestfriend who lives right next to me. We have been bestfriends for 6 years or so, even though we haven't been with eachother so much this past year. I was going through a really hard time some months ago, where I was in a huge fight with the most of my friends for stupid stuff, and there was this rumour spread out about me and I didn't really have anyone. She was always the one I went to talk to, since I didn't know who else I had. She was pretty supportive. She had a sleepover a week ago with one of my bestfriend who I was having an argument with. We made up some days ago, and she told me that in the sleepover she had told her that she actually tries to stay away from me, and that she only uses me to get a ride to school and to listen to me complain so she could tell people. I was ofcourse shocked and really sad? And she was the one who started the rumor as well. What should I do? Since we are neighbours, we ride the bike to school together everyday. Should I just ignore it and not trust her or should i confront her? Please help, I am really hurt and lost.

So, my five friends and I are sitting around, and we noticed our 7th grade had made an Instagram account with the user name: 7thgrade.couplez or whatever by a girl named Jenna. So as a joke we decided to make an account. Originally it was one of my friends made it, and I had nothing to do with it. I created no post or such but one girl said I had done it, and I replied with, "I don't have time for this crap, please don't put me in these kinds of situations, Isabelle." and Jenna commented that I did it, and I responded with,"As I was discussing with your girlfriend, Isabelle, that I had nothing to do with this, but I don't have such time for this stupidity." She then deleted her comment, and I posted, "The fact you deleted your comment is dimwitted because your making it seems like I did it." She then said, "I deleted my comment and screen shoted this. I'm going to show this to Mrs. Ball." First, I wasn't involved. Second, these pictures were not taken at school (Against the policy) and that the fact she had also made an account. We deleted the account. What might happen?

My best friend said that he can't or doesn't want to associate with me anymore because I'm mean. This is the first I've heard of any of this, so I don't know what to do besides apologize and say that I'll try to change, but he won't accept my apology. I think this is cruel, because I just went through a rough breakup last week (I was cheated on) and really need a friend/friends right now he says I'm mean to his girlfriend, who has been my closest female friend for five years. It turns out she has been hurt by little biting comments I've made all year, but she hasn't approached me with this, she's just told him, and they've been getting more and more angry towards me. I had a heart to heart with her where I sincerely apologized, because it breaks my heart to think about hurting her and I would've made things right with her a long time ago if I knew. she says she forgives me and will always be my friend, but her boyfriend/my best friend says that having a bad breakup isn't an excuse. I really think I'm a good person at heart, and he should give me another chance. but I don't know what else to do. Please help? I think they should've approached me about this a long time ago instead of letting it build up, and since they didn't do that, I think they should give me another chance

If someone helped you in the time of need but when they're struggling and you can't help them. What do you tell them?

So I went out with co-workers and got really drunk. A co-worker who I know was interested in me offered to buy me a drink. However, with a challenge to sing karaoke, I ended up taking shots beside the drink my co-worker offered. I couldn't drive home so he offered to call a cab for me. I refused and I told him to take me to his place. We started making out and all I remember is having this crazy sex with him.... In his bed. I came home in the morning and my husband is upset. He doesn't know what happened either. So after the weekend, I saw my co-worker who started describing how great I was- like he was basgging. Idon't know if he is poking fun but I feel like I don't have much to show. I feel like I'm the talk of the town? What to do?

Not in a sexual way or anything, just in general. I find it hard to bring this up with my friends because they assume I'm an exhibitionist or something...I'm not, I don't go looking for these situations, but if they happen it's not a big deal to me. For example I've gone naked in the mixed-sex sauna at my gym (I checked with the management first, they said it was OK) but I got a few dirty looks from other women. Or sometimes if I'm camping or at the beach with a group of friends, if there's nowhere to change then I'll just do it out in the open. It doesn't bother me and I don't make a big deal of it, but I get the feeling that most other women wouldn't do it. A friend's girlfriend even got mad at me for changing in front of him one time (other people were around and no one else complained). I'm just curious how other people feel about it.
