Overall she is a really good person and I know she means well but she has a bad habit of standing me up and not coming through for me. The first time she lied and made up an excuse to not come to an event of mine that she promised days ahead to come to and was actually on her way with friends when she canceled within 5 minutes of the event starting because her friends didn't want to go but lied about it and never gave me a reason. I stopped speaking her for a month when that happened then forgave her, within the first week of me forgiving her she made plans for us to hang out and catch up but never called me back. Recently, She ended up coming through for an event she planned cause I guess she saw that I stopped trying with her. Finally today, we were suppose to meet up downtown ( i took public transportation). An hour of prior to our scheduled time, I called and text her and no answer, two hours later she replies telling me she completely forgot and her roommate has alcohol poisoning and she's been with her at the hospital all day and she'll call me when they wrap things up, she never called, that was 8 hours ago. I finally just got home and deleted her on all social media and blocked her number. Am I wrong for cutting her off or do I have a legit reason, I mean I did spend money to and from and wasted my day waiting on her and she never even called me back, just a stupid text. |

She's overweight and insecure so she makes fun of me to make her self feel better and I'm fat too and i don't like it when people comment on my weight. She knows that but she always talk about how my arm is so big,how my stomach is huge,how i have a big face and a double chin and she says it out loud in front of our classmate. I have only music class with her and she lied to the teacher about how she couldn't see the board just so she could sit next to me. She ALWAYS wants to go to my house or she wants me to go to hers almost everyday and I'm tired of it bc i don't like hanging out with her bc all she does is complain and put me down. She always talk about her problems and rarely listens to mine. She acts all tough even though she's not and she's always saying shell beat my *** and hit me and **** and today at lunch this guy wanted to squeeze her hands and he said he couldn't feel her bones so i said lol you have no bones so then she punched me really hard in the arm.Today she was like I'm going to your house today without even asking me first and i was like idk i might be doing something and then she was like ok see you at your house. How do people move on so quickly like that and forget about you when you can't sleep or eat or do anything because you're still hanging on to them? Is it normal to feel this way? A few weeks ago when I was on a field trip I talked to a guy quite a lot and thought we were friends though the trip was 2 days. Now we've been back at school for weeks he never seems to notice me and he forgot I exist. I try saying hi passing by but he seems awfully distracted all the time. I think the 1st time he actually noticed me was last week, we probably stared at each other for a minute and that was it. It bugs the heck out of me to see him every day from a distance of 20 yds since where we eat lunch is 20 yds away and not be able to say hi because whenever I try to talk to him it ends up really awkward since he seems to be living in a different world. I don't know if it's because he's too smart. It just seems like everyone including him has their own lives and I don't. Why do people just move on and forget you like that? It sounds like a stupid Romeo-and-Juliet story lasting 2 days but I learned a lot from him in 2 days & he was a valuable friend. he's the only one worth talking to in my life. I don't talk much to others I talked to on the trip anymore but I thought he was different. maybe not. I'm failing math, can't eat or sleep. Am I still sane? |

Here's why: my theory is that if an individual is going to cheat on you, they'll do it regardless of who they're talking to. If the individual (man or woman) has strong moral and ethical values, they could talk to anyone in the world and would never cheat on their spouse. I personally would never cheat because I find it repulsive. What bother's me the most is that I have family and friends that think it's "wrong." I've never overstepped my boundaries with friends that are in relationships and I've never had any issues with the opposite sex friends that I talk to. The other thing is that every girlfriend/wife knows that I talk to their boyfriend/husband and they're not threatened by it. Why is it looked down upon? |

He said she had to get her license as a condition of moving in with him. She and my friend are friends and she often asks my friend to pick her up from work on evenings and Sundays, either early in the morning or late at night. He is getting fed up with it. She is 35 and doesn t seem to be trying to get her license. She has tried before but got spooked by driving. Whenever he is out of town, I end up having to pick up this friend as a favour to him and it s a serious drag. What can he do? If he refuses to drive her, she will have to take a cab which will cost her $60 there and back. We don't have Uber or anything fancy like that. Our city has 25,000 people and is out in the middle of nowhere |

Posted: 21 Oct 2015 03:35 PM PDT my friend is out of high school while i'm a sophomore. okay so my freshmen year went horrible girls post a video of me changing and spread it around on social media. i'm a husky girl. everyone laughed about it and posted stuff about me calling me 'fat' 'disgusting' 'gross' and no one talked with me. the teachers didn't even care. they didn't even know who i was until it happened. i was going to home school but my friend said i should go to the school she went to. i didn't want to i told her i would be safer at home. she told me no one ever bullied her and no one would bully me or know about that video and the teachers would know who i was. she told me it would be so much better and i should go. i told her i still didn't want and she told me i should and she would go with me to orientation she wouldn't take no for an answer. so she took me in and the whole time she was talking with her teachers not letting me. she said she was my support but all she did was get mad that i wasn't more outgoing. the video is still talked about even at this school and i have no one. my teachers don't like me because i'm being held back a year. and there's even more rumors going around i'm crying all the time and cutting i told my friend this and she said i was being a drama queen and i needed to be more outgoing. i told her today i hate her and i blame her for this am i wrong get over being publicly humiliated and having a video of you exposed for anyone to see. yeah okay thnx i'll get over it glad you only read what you wanted to read |

Recently I found out about my Dad s affair and my parents divorce which is devastating my family and my life. I haven t told her yet because I don t know how she would handle it. She wants me to stay after school from 12:28 to 7:00 for a football game. I told her that my mom drop me off at her house and we can go later on but she was still mad. Recentaly he replied to a text I sent a while ago like it was a conversation we were still having. We talked today and I said you're me best friend you literally signed up for this. Then we had a short conversation on that and I guess he no longer considers me a best friend just because we haven't talked for a few months. I was just kinda like IDC I get it if you don't care anymore. Then he was like I do care I've just been going through a lot (or he was busy or something like that) lately. Like what the heck!? They took in some kittens- immediately I fell in love with these kittens. I wanted to 'foster them' but quickly realized, it wasn't possible so I asked to take one cat who had literally almost died. My house wasn't healthy my cat's had URI's at the time and i spent over 2k on a stray to save his life. She said as soon as my house gets healthy I can take the kitten. I felt they were negligent in her care, and weeks later, she died. I felt I could have saved her- they didn't care of course. I wanted her two siblings or one, after she died- it was beyond traumatic for me. No one there showed any care really- the vet was acting weird. We have a good relationship or so you think. I recently asked her about the other 2--scared i wont get them, she said "yes of course", but said "it could be a few weeks" since they have mange. Now I go back to the clinic and see signs on the cages such as "sweet kitten, has mange"..almost as if theyre trying to ADOPT them out? ive been waiting for these kittens for almost 2 months now--its been some knid of torture fest...how can i handle this clinic..it seems they are playing major head games with me- i dont even know what's going on anymore- almost leading me on about these cats using it as some kind of power/control game with me. The vet didn't reassure me they're mine...should i ask for paperwork? contracts? let me explain..ive been through weeks of fear, trauma and suffering over this..it has affected me BIG time emotionally..esp realizing they seem to be playing major head games with me--it's scary. I talked to the vet last week..and she seemed sad about the sister dying- but when I told her i wanted the others and I was really attached to them she said "yes of course", but that's it. The vet also acted weird abt adopting them to me- just to mess with me- just to be cruel almost. |

I've told her she's wrong but she doesn't seem to get it. She tells people that I listen to and watch really bad things and my mom's okay with it which not only makes me look bad, but also my mom. I have a friend that lives across the parking lot and hes a sophomore and I'm a freshman. Let's say his name is "Josh" We've been friends since I was in the 7th grade and we know each other. The other day he told me that he had sex, "phone" sex. I misheard the phone part. I told my other friend, (and let's call her "Tina") whom I thought I trusted, and I told her. Recently, she got mad at me (I still am clueless as to why she's mad at me) and told "Josh" that I told her. Now Josh is mad at me and he threatened to "knock my teeth out" and he's going to beat me up. I have to walk home with him everyday to and from the bus stop. So basically, Josh and his girlfriend are mad at me, and so is my other friend. I apologized to "Josh" but he kept threatening more stuff about how hes going to hurt me. I honestly dont care for "Tina" anymore. I don't want to be her friend anymore. My question is "What do I do in a situation like this?" I need advice. I broke up with her because she was constantly bringing up sex, which I didn't want, and when I asked her to stop, she wouldn't and would make me feel guilty over it. After we became friends again, she stopped for a while but then started to make me feel guilty about not wanting to be with her and she would keep poking me in my arms and breasts and wouldn't stop when I asked her. She'd also make frequent comments about sex, saying if I died that she'd get my body and on one occasion grabbed my butt out of nowhere. She tagged me in a post showing her blood after a cat scratched her and I found it triggering and I basically demanded she never do that again. She said okay and asked if anything else made me uncomfortable or offended me so I may have laid into her about the aforementioned things. She said okay about that then asked if I wanted her to stop using nicknames and putting kisses and I told her to stop. Then she unfriended me on Facebook. I told my mother (not about the dating and sex and groping, but the poking and blood) and she got annoyed with me and told me I should have stayed quiet and now I'll lose all my friends and can't have my 18th birthday party now. Did I make a mistake? My parents are telling me I should make things right when I see her next time because I'm too sensitive...I genuinely believe I've made a mistake... |

Ealier this month I had a gut instinct that something was wrong and was proven when she hadn't even talked to someone who was supposed to be her best friend. Apparently she texted another one of my friends ending their relationship and one of his friends have said "she's being a ***** so we're not even speaking to her". She turned chat avalabilty off on every social media account she has before this all happened. If I am honest I do like her and would love to go out with her. I'm really worried that something is getting her upset or she's not alright about something especially having two supposedly good friends stop speaking to her. What do I do? Do I leave it all or do I try and see if she is alright by going to her house after school? |

No matter how hard I tried to fit in, be nice and listen to people- find common goals and hobbies, I always ended up alone (the type that hangs around a group of people only to find out that they go out without inviting you). Now I'm 21 and in college. I can't say I have real friends but only close acquaintances. I'm a girl and as a normal person I hoped I could have a relationship, you know- find love. But it's like every time I get close to a guy and he shows the slightest interest, the minute I reciprocate , he just acts distant all of a sudden and cease any contact. I believe I'm quite average looking, but not bad, I try to stay healthy and be fun around people but it just...doesn't click. Failing to make human contact made me really depressed (diagnosed)- I feel like I barely want to live, there is no one there that wants me in their life (including a parent who abandoned us) and it just feels like this is going to be for the rest of my life, like a sort of curse I got hanging on my back that tells people "beware". I don't know if I can keep on living like that. What would you recommend? Anyone that can share a similar story? |

I also shortly after helped her pick up a coffee table at 10:30pm that same night. we sat up and talked all night up until 6am while she worked on painting it. I go about my business and its now a week later. I'm not good at this friend thing, I tend to overthink and cling which I am trying not to do. I don't know if we are friend, however it seems she trusts me enough to help her out and stay to chat. If we are in fact friends, it doesn't necessarily mean we have to talk often correct. I haven't really talked to her since then. Do I just wait until she want to talk again or what? I would like to get to eventually get to a point where she considers me a close friend and I don't know how to go about that? We are both 24 |
