Everyone's in their own groups and they're all talking ab personal **** and i cant join their convos so I'm just quiet for the whole school day. And my mom is telling me to try to get a job and try to make friends there. While I am trying to make a job to get money, i'm pretty sure that talking with customers or co workers won't get me any friends. Please help me. Also i'm not going back to college until January because of a technical problem...

Okay, this may sound like an odd question but I am a 16 year old girl and I have a 17 year old brother who always walks around the house with the most minimal amount of clothing. I mean it's fine if he chooses to run around the house naked if no one is home. What bothers me the most is when my friends are over and he walks around the house with no shirt on and these loose basketball shorts and I'm pretty certain he's not wearing any boxers underneath because you can totally see his penis protruding through his shorts. Then my friends go "OMG! Your brother has such a small penis." I mean I don't walk around the house with just my bra and panties on so I don't think he should go walk around the house with his penis buldging in everyone's face. a basic outline 2incher child size proportion... I really can't stand it but I don't want to say anything to him because our relationship is otherwise fine and I don't want to strain it by being uptight. Is anyone else in a similar situation? This is a long story(bear with me). So my friend (let's call her Potato), Potato has a 16 year old sister that has a boyfriend that's a singer. The boyfriend is in a band and is going to have a concert party soon. The only problem is that it's for people 14 and up. And I doubt there's going to be any 14 y/o's there. The sister said that Potato could invite like 4 friends, even though we're only 12-13. Potato told me and her other friend (let's call the other friend Peanut) Peanut, that we could come to the party. Potato told us that her sister said that she could "Get us in", which is what's making me sketchy about the whole situation. Potato also said that there would be no drinking, drugs, or anything like that. But then I'm sitting here like "Well then why would the sister need to "get us in"?" Peanut told me she didn't feel ok about going, so she's not. I honestly really don't know if I should go or not. There's also the problem with my Mom. This isn't intended to be a Halloween based night, but my mom will think so because it's a day before Halloween. She hasn't let me gone trick or treating ever before or let me gone to any Halloween parties so if she thinks it is that sort of occasion she won't let me go. Last year i became bestfriends w/ this girl at another school cause she was moving to my school the next year. we would always hang out, we were there for each other. She would say how i am the best friend shes ever had and we made a promise to stay friends all through high school. it was a meaningful friendship & we were extremely close. I've known my bff for 4 years. Everything was great until a year ago when she had to live with her mom in a shithole of a town that literally consists of white trash people with drug addictions. Not even exaggerating. I believed that she would make good choices, but I was horribly wrong. At first, she was smoking weed 24/7. I'm okay with that. I do it too. But she was OBSESSIVELY doing it, stealing it from others, lying to get money for it, etc. But at that point I was barely expressing my concerns. Not until things got worse. She started doing pills (suboxone, adderall, etc), then cocaine, then hallucinogens (which she now does EVERY day!). Basically just escalating drug use, even when she kept promising me "I wont do anything else!" each time. It's changed her. Not completely, but mostly. She isn't excited to see me or talk to me. She lost alot of her sense of humor. When we're in the same room she barely speaks to me. She just acts like she never cares! All she thinks about is drugs! It's ALL she talks about! Same with her new friends she made. I hate her boy toy. He's even more of a drug addict, I NEVER get alone time with her, we're always with him at his house. And when it's just us, she barely talks, or acts uninterested. We got in an argument yesterday because I wouldn't let her smoke the rest of my weed! I'm tired of this. She hasn't even graduated yet! This is not as much question as it is just having someone to tell it all to. So today at school I was leaning over the desk trying to show my friend a picture on my phone when I feel this hard smack on my butt. I turn around and it's one of the guys in my class and immediately one of my guy friends started telling how could he be such an idiot to smack me so hard. I felt so disrespected and embarassed so I just turn around and my guy friend is trying to talk to me but I just don't pay any attention. And I start crying. It was discreetly at first. Don't get me wrong I have been smacked and groped by guys before (even without my permission) but it was the fact that it was done with such force that got to me. I felt humiliated and I felt like this person has no respect for me as a human being. So my girlfriends start noticing that I'm upset and start asking whether I'm okay and that just makes me cry more so my guy friends start noticing and everyone is trying to console me and ask why I'm crying. And I just felt so ridiculous for crying. I just feel like people are going to think that I was crying for a stupid reason. I mean it's not like it's something unusual to smack a girl's *** and I don't want people to think that I made it a big deal and that I was crying for something stupid. People always say "be grateful for what you have", but I just cant when so many around me have so much more. We live in a pretty affluent area, but we are anything but. We only manage to live here because my grandma bought the house like 30 years ago when it was just citrus groves. My friends all have so much more than me. College is organising a trip for students to France and the european parliament in january..it's with money of course. The thing is I want to go but I don't want to at the same time. Not to long ago I graduated from High School and started my first semester in Community College. That itself was a large leap for me, though I wasn't ready for all my friends to start disappearing. My two closest friends I have aren't going to school, but one is moving to another state (far away) and the other is as well. We use to keep in touch, but it's closing in on the days that they're leaving and they have just.... stopped talking to me. Let's say, THEORETICALLY, me and my friend were smoking weed and we were in an empty school parking lot at 2am. Then I heard a voice and I ignored it at first because I just thought, I'm high, it was probably nothing. But then my friend said "did you hear that?" Which means both of us heard something. When it comes to my future/career...im as clueless and confused as anyone can be. I currently work in a warehouse for an appliance company and I want out of here so bad. Its so stressful. I hate the job, the people that work here, the atmosphere, EVERYTHING. Management is very intimidating and arrogant. I feel like im STUCK here with no chance to get out. I just want to take civil service exams/learn a trade and somehow work for the state or government somewhere in a stress free environment. But i dont have the time or motivation to start looking/researching for a new career. I heard rumors that im next in line to get promoted as a supervisor. This scared the hell out of me because im not a talkative person and as a supervisor im supposed to communicate with everyone including management. If they do promote me i think im REALLY stuck here for life because i wont have the time or be in the mood to search for another job. And I dont want that. My parents tell me im afraid of success..that sounds true, but I dont want to succeed in this company. I want to succeed for another company. Why is life so difficult for me? Anybody have any advice?

I'm 17 and we moved to a new town when I was 13 and I haven't had any friends since. This town is very small, I tried public schools but the other people my age are horribly obnoxious and rude. They said some of the rudest jokes I've ever heard and just sat on top of the desks laughing and talking right over the teachers and e teachers didn't care! It was the worst. So I became homeschooled even though I'd rather not be. Now, I never see anyone my age. I don' know how to meet other kids my age outside of a school. Help me please with what to do, I've gotten so depressed in the past 4 years I thought of killing myself. I met my friend when we were 12. We started to become better friends when we were 15, had a falling out but came back together when we were 17. I started dating her brother and I would come over to their house to hang out with the both of them I thought it was awesome being with my boyfriend and my best friend. Last year around this time my friend became pregnant and I was so happy for her! I immediately started to plan her baby shower and bought her so many clothes for her baby. I ve spent hundreds of dollars of presents for her baby and we were super close her whole pregnancy. The day she gave birth she started acting differently towards me. I tried to come over to her house so her brother could meet her baby; I sent her a text asking what a good time is to come and she never responded. I ve tried multiple times to come to her house/have her come to mine to see her baby. She always had an excuse but I ll see pictures of her other friends with her and her baby on Facebook and it really hurts my feelings. I also see her making plans with people to come over to her house. Why is she treating me this way I don t understand. This will be a long story, so bare with me please. I met this guy back in July online and after spending almost 2 months talking to him, I felt that we became really close. Now he is never on Skype as he literally always was and I fear he has blocked me. It just hurts so much that someone I thought I was good friends with just dumped me with no apparent reason. I had an e-pen pal that went by the name Dai. The last time we were messaging I left a question and she just disappeared. Here skype was just abandoned. And this was after about a month and a half. She did send me some pics so please help. I want to know if she is ok. She is the blond one. Tonight I'm going to Magic Mountain Fright Fest with a friend of mine. I love going on the coasters there, but I don't really like zombies and all that creepy stuff, especially when it's dark, but I didn't tell her I was scared because I've only known her for a month and she's really popular, and somehow (I don't know how) she think's I'M cool XD. Anyway, can someone just tell me what it's like so I'm not as scared? Do they do it during the day time too? Are the rides any different? Do they do it all over the park, or just in certain areas? I just want to know what it's like so that I'm not super scared tonight. And don't be that annoying person that's like ''it's funner if you don't know you have to experience it'' like SERIOUSLY. I have these two friends lets call the Gabby and Valentina, They have been getting really close lately,leaving me out and saying mean things about me behind my back and even to my face! They are in my class till the end of 2016 but I don t want to be friends with them anymore! How do I get away from them without hurting their feelings?

Let me elaborate. My friend is 5'2 while I'm 5'4, not much of a difference but I walk at a faster pace than her. So much so that there is a noticeable gap between us. I have this friend, we've been friends since we were ten years old but we've drifted apart significantly. She's gone with the wrong crowd, she's heading to a very destructive path, I don't want her to throw it all away. We're both in college at the moment, she's a very gifted girl, she's very smart, she was at the top of the class and once memorised a 4 page essay with tiny writing in 30 mins!!! and she's just genuinely smart, her potential is so obvious but now she's flunking classes and drinking excessively. I don't want to see her like this. I want to help her because this course was what she always dreamed of doing ever since we were 10-11 years old and I don't want her to wake up one day and realise she threw it all away. I don't want her to be betrayed by those new "friends" she has. She won't listen to me. I know it's not my life to live and it's hers but I want her to be happy and from what I can see she's been nothing but unhappy from all the drama. Any advice on how to snap her out of it? Throughout the past year and a half, I had lent some clothing to a previous friend of mine. Approximately 6 days ago, we had a fallout and decided to no longer continue associating with one another. I politely asked her for my clothing back and she rudely replied that she had already gotten rid of them. If she did get rid of them, is there anything can I do about her discarding of my personal belongings without my knowledge or consent? And if she does still have them, but is simply being a b-word lol, can I contact the authorities to assist me in retrieving my items? I don't know if there's laws that pertain to my situation. Life seems so pointless right now. If people knew how close i was to killing myself, they'd care. Or, well, my friends would just laugh at me as always. I've been bullied all my life. I moved 4 years ago, hoping for a new life where i wouldn't be bullied. But i was wrong; everyone here bullies me. They push me and call me names. I've tried everything to stop it; even kicked their pathetic asses. My friends all laugh at me, and yeah, i guess i don't even have friends then... They always leave me, and ignore me. I've spent about 100$ to fit in with them. (and my family's really poor too... so that's all the money i have had for 4 years) Lended cash, bought video games to play with them, but they never return the favor, and if i buy a game to play with them, they just stop playing the game. I always just live a second life in video games and movies. And rap music... At least that cheers me up usually. I had a group of friends i used to play games with online, but now whenever i ask those people to play with me, or do something, they either go offline or never responds. Just like real life people, they can't stand me so they ignore me. I don't see any reason but my family to go on living. I just need a friend...
