I will talk to her at lunch and she is fine, but whenever I twitter dm her she takes forever or never responds. Most days after lunch we walk the same way to the next Class so we walk together and then go other ways when we are close to our class. Sometimes she'll respond and constantly keep the conversation. But I'm not sure if she's just being a friend. Which I can understand but Ive been holding off telling her because I don't want to make it awkward at lunch and class. He lives in another state but will be moving back in about a year and a half. He's a doctor and I'm studying to become one. I have never cared about the timeline in which I got my degree until I met him. Realistically, I should have been a doctor by now but a few obstacles in my life prevented me from doing so. That's becoming frequent, and it sometimes keeps me up at night. Specifically these regrets pertain to my relationship. One, when I found out my boyfriend was flirting with another girl through texting in December, I think I handled it poorly by being too passive and not getting any answers. I would believe him when he said he didn't have any feelings for her if he hadn't lied to me about certain stuff beforehand. We were seeing each other for over a year and he never once said "I love you" or made us officially together as boyfriend and girlfriend even though he treated me like his girlfriend. I saw he was constantly on dating sites and he'd lie to me about it saying the last active time stamp was incorrect or that he was only talking to one girl as friends who couldn't talk to him anywhere else. Finally I beat him down with my words and got him to admit he was sorta cheating on me; by sort of I mean he was going on dinner dates and talking to other girls. He claims he never had sex or kissed any of them but Im not sure if I believe that. He apologized profusely and said he was embarrassed and ashamed of himself. He also said he's never made a huge mistake in his life like this and that the guilt was eating away at him, he also said he wanted to just move past this and try to forget what he did. Where do I go from here? After all this he finally admitted he loves me but he was afraid to say it because his ex who he loved a lot moved to a far away state for college. He deleted all the dating sites, apologized, allowed us to be officially together now, and says the words "I love you" and seems to mean it. I just hurt inside from this. He expressed his annoyance because of the fact that I was doing better than him in tests & he'd get really snappy. He came across as one of those overly-serious, short-tempered, cocky people. Whenever the teacher asked a question, he'd get all sarcastic and ask me "Oh, don't you want to answer that?" I loathed how he acted like he was king of everything. It was this outlandish ********* that made me absolutely hate him. All my friends knew, and he knew too. We had a lot of classes together though, and some of our teachers seated us together because they knew that we didn't like each other, and thought this heightened competitiveness would help us do better. We ended up arguing a lot though, but this turned into conversations & inside jokes. Had a dream last weekend however that we were in love. Felt nice but I brushed it off and thought I would've felt the same even if it were anybody. Came to school today and I was by myself studying, he came to me and asked if I've revised for a test. I said that I was in the middle of doing it. Then he pulled up a chair and asked if he could sit with me. I said OK & he tried to make conversation, eg asking about my family, hobbies, birthday etc. It was strange because I could tell he was a nervous, he avoided eye contact and gave a shy kind of smile whenever he looked at me.
