My husband works 3rds and i am a stay at home mom and we have one car and he has it most the time and cant afford to get another one but my inlaws complain to me everytime we visit when he is off that they dont see my daughter enough . They sit at home everyweekend and dont come . They live 45 min away and act like it is another state away . If we didnt take her , they would pro see her once a month . What should i say when they complain and then they want me to take her on all kinds of trips and get mad at me when i say no bc my pediatrician said not to but they cant take the time to come see her 45 min away ???? They have perfectly capable 2 cars to come drive and see her and they dont want to use their precious gas .

I will start from the beginning, my sister gave birth on tuesday night. Since the baby have gotten now in our house my mom got crazy since then my mom is aggrassive & keeps being mean. The last couple of days her violance turned into drama, now she only keeps shouting and playing innocent at everyone. She has put me as the #1 target i. After that she acts like she is poor and start crying. She has done sh** to my siblings before so i know what she is doing, she wanna throw the same sh** at me so i start hating her.i told her if u don't stop demanding and treating me like this I'm gonna start hating you. Idk how will this stop. She provokes me to argue with her even though i don't want that. What can i do? If this continue I'm gonna be considered as an enemy and I'm gonna get wiped everywhere at home. Can you help me sort it?

Im 23 and i feel so much resentment towardsnmy mom because she was the reason why i fell into anorexia and bulimia as a teen, she would always say i was the fat one from the family wen i was only a little child. So i fell into eating disorders. She was never a mother to me. Never showed me "how a mother loves her child" it hurted. He would treat my other 2 sisters very nice , meanwhile she didnt give a s*towards the fat one. I was able to cure my anorexia. But i still have so much hurt and pain from my childhood. The father of my children and I moved to a different town a couple hours away for a fresh start. We were starting to be much happier until his family got ahold of our new number and won't stop calling us. We've blocked their numbers but they keep finding new numbers to call off of. We have to keep blocking these numbers too. His mother keeps calling the police, calling his job and harassing us. He wants nothing to do with his family since they are very toxic people. The police won't do anything because all his mother is doing is calling for "welfare checks" He is 27 years old and they are acting like he is 16. We just want to cut these people off so we can live in peace but we can't no matter what we try. Please what do we do? This is creating loads of stress and anxiety for us!

Every morning my sister needs to be up to take her kid to school. And Every. Single. Morning. Someone needs to wake her up or else her kid will be late. The school has given her countless warnings about how often he is tardy and its affecting his schoolwork. My sister is an impossibly heavy sleaper. she has multiple deafening loud alarm clocks all around her room yet she still needs someone everyday to drive to her house and wake her up and even then will often go back to sleep as soon as they leave (or talk in her sleep saying shes awake). Actually making sure shes fully awake is a lengthy frustrating process and im at my ropes end with it. Im tired of having to get up extra early all the time just to make time to wake her up. Clearly louder and more alarm clocks arnt going to work (trust me she has them all) and i cant just leave her to deal with the problem herself because that would affect her kid and he dosent diserve that, what should i do?

I'm a second mom/maid/nurse/everything basically. When my grandpa was alive I was also caring for him. I've been vaping for a good year or so now and I never said anything about it to my parents because they're pretty judgemental of anybody who drinks, smokes, parties, etc. I'm an adult, and I do as I please when I'm away at college, but I respect their house and won't do anything while I'm living here. I'll be here for about a year after I graduate, and then my gf and I will get a place together when she finishes. It just sucks because even if I do it outside and when they're not around, I know they'll still give me a hard time about it just for doing it. They're literally so judgemental about every little thing I do that they don't agree with or do themselves. They're super religious, so that probably plays a role in it. I just hate having to sneak around over something that doesn't even matter just so I don't get lectured. Can anybody relate?

Sorry it will be a bit complicated to understand...My husband and I are taking a vacation. We also take our small child with us. My mom is visiting us now and we decided to offer her to come with us to the resort and pay for her. When I made this offer she was on bad terms with my husband and told me that it is better to send her home and pay for her ticket to go back. The next day I told her, that since she refused the vacation, we bought tickets just for 3 of us. She got pissed and said that she never declined a vacation and her stating that she wanted to go back home doesn't mean that she would miss a vacation. She called me stupid, got super pissed, acted not like an adult.The next day the price went 600 dollars up for her ticket. We finally got her a ticket, because we didnt want her to stay in our house for 10 days by herself. I told her that she is coming with us and we got her a vacation package, but had to overpay. She made a face of disgust and said she didn't ask for it. She didn't say even thanks. What do you guys think, shall I just cancel the deal for her, because I feel with my guts she will destroy this vacation for us..how can she act so ungrateful, we spent 6k for this vacation and it is a lot of money for us Yes, I will be attached to her, she speaks no English - it is the first fact. Im 17. I make great grades but I have been recently going on a downward spiral. I have a job but it's just fast food. I asked my father about insurance on the car because he told me I would have to pay but i didnt know how to do that. Its $300 dollars. I told him I didn't have it..(I had to $70 for my phone, $40 for driving test, $40 for license, pay $50 for prom, $20 for dues, $10 for brunch ticket, $20 for uber to brunch, $15 here, $20 there, $20 there) basically those weeks dried me up and it wasn't like I could take out $50 it had to be $60 $20 only even numbers at my atm. So it was less and less in my card. I used money to give to my friend for gas when I drove, i pay for my dads food some nights...so its not like im just buying stuff. He made me feel bad about myself, He told me to take out what I had but it would leave me with NOTHING. I get paid on saturdays but even then the pay checks aren't good. I have been avoiding buying food and ubering so I can start saving up. I walked 30 minutes in 90° so I didnt have to pay. I already feel crap about myself because of this. I graduate tomorrow but honestly I don't care anymore. Im down $47 dollars now until Saturday and i dont even know how much my check will be. I have to take all my finals next week and I'm just ready to die honestly. I know that sounds dramatic but I try and try and try and try and it's never enough. I don't know what to do. It's like every since i graduate I been noticing alot of things with my mom and 2 older sister's, I'm 20 one of my sister's 22 and the other one 24.... I just been noticing weird stuff like first when I tried to get along with all of them they kept creating mess. Like ill catch them talking about me behind my back over the smallest stuff.... and I'll be so confuse like wow . Then sometimes I'll get into it with them and confront them about it and they will try to deny it and double team me and act like I'm just crazy when I'm not . Cuz I catch them talking bout me almost all the time over the smallest stuff and then later on ... I just started realizing they just don't like me idk why like I just don't fit in they group all they do is talk about me and leave me out and all three of them will get out the house and go hang out ... and I'll just be by my self feeling left out and stupid I got in so many bad arguments with them and it always been all 3 of them double teaming me ...like 1 of them never try to take my side or see my point of view they just audimactally be a team and jump down my throat and it be hard for me to argue with all 3 of them screaming over me .. i don't feel like I have a mom i feel like she a girl who just look at me as a competition along with my sister's they just don't like me idc bout my sister's not liking me but it's the fact my mom don't like me right along with them and I don't have no friends so I really feel alone...

Growing up I had a strange friend and peculiar family. His dad was his real dad, but all of the three kids took the mothers last name. I always found it so strange, his only answer was "because my moms last name sounded better". Now the parents I believe were never previously married. Could it be for financial reasons that I'm not aware of. They'd never let friends over to their house either. Any thoughts?

I m going on a road trip with my dad and step-mom tomorrow. We re taking my step-mom s car. During the road trip, i d like to stop at a Starbucks drive-thru and get myself an iced coffee for the road. However, I can t. My step-mom has OCD and is a neat freak, and she has ALWAYS had this rule where we can t eat in her car. Now, I would understand not being allowed to have MESSY food in the car, but it s just an iced coffee from Starbucks! It ll be in a secure cup with a lid! It won t get on anything! I d even throw the cup away when i m done with it. I would never leave garbage in her car. EVERY other person I know besides her lets me eat in their car, even my mom and step-dad! Why not her? No matter what I say, she will NEVER let me have an iced coffee in the car! Neither my mom or my dad will do anything about this! Should I tell a friend s parent or another trusted adult how I feel? Will THEY do anything? Please help me! I have had to follow this rule for years now, and I am so sick of it! I want it to stop!

Last night, my dad invited me to go to dinner with him at his girlfriends parents house. I said I would. Well, the time came, and I just really dont feel like it. He called me and asked if i wanted to go, and i said i changed my mind. He said why. I was just as honest and said selfishness, I'd just rather stay home. He paused, and said okay... than he said i dont like asking your brother and you to do these things becuase you always feel bad if you dont want to go. I asked him if he was looking forward to me going, and he said. Well...yeah, but I understand if you dont want to. I feel bad that I let him down. I could care less what his gf, and her family thinks, but i feel bad for my dad.

To me paying them for her and I no longer can? She keeps calling me a bitxh because I remind her that 20 hours per week will barely pay rent and utilities but she doesn't want to work more than that and still expects to have fun money. . I had been covering her cost of living (she is 19 I am 23) but can't any longer because I had to max all my cards out to cover her and now I have to pay those bills too. I worked 30 hours per week while going to school full time, I am sure she can handle 30 hour weeks while on school break.

My 20 year old soon got sentenced to 2 years in prison. I was in court when he got sentenced and it broke my heart. His brothers are 15 and 17 and want to visit him in prison but I am not sure if this is a good idea as I don't want them to think this is "normal" but I know they just want to support their brother

My baby's father who's 26, literally just started talking bad about me after I just had his baby 5 week's ago. He has no respect for me. Then girls he's messing around with showing up at my home because he obviously gave them my address. I'm so embarrassed. I literally did terrible picking him to be my child's father. He's telling all of my business to these women. He said to them she's stupid, can't comprehend nothing, and he's taking me to court to get our child! He won't do anything for my child not even buy him what he needs. This is my first kid him and I'm really just thinking about moving to another state. I already reported him to the police for threatening to kill me if I move on. but now, he's still threatening to give a 19 year girl he's had sex with before my address to fight me AFTER he found out she called our child ugly he said that she's just mad and didn't mean it.. I literally hate I had a kid with him.

My girlfriend and I had our daughter when we were still in high school. She's 5 now, will be 6 soon. She's not defiant or wild, most of the time she does what she's told after we ask her to do it the first time. The biggest issue with her right now is bedtime. She always wants an extra 5 minutes, wants to play with the dog, wants to watch TV with us. Our problem is inconsistency, some nights we're firm that bedtime is bedtime, other nights we let her stay up a little bit longer. I think for better or worse we let her stay up because we know it'll make her happy. Is inconsistent bedtime going to hurt in the long run?

I know it sounds like the usual, mundane scenario of an older brother disliking his younger brother, but hear me out.. I am, for the most part, a very reserved person. I keep my thoughts to myself, and if I do not have anything nice to say, I do not say it at all. But the shear voice of hearing my brother when he talks makes me wince immediately. He is 13 and spends about 4 to 6 hours a day on his playstation in the living room, whereas I stay in my room to avoid him. I don't care how long he plays video games because I generally stay in my room anyway, but I can hear him clearly when he talks to his friends for hours through his microphone headset. I probably sound like an old man, but there are many many other things that he does that bother me. He's extremely disrespectful toward my mother (whom gives him everything he asks for), which really pisses me off because she does not deserve any of it. He's not overly disrespectful but just really cocky. I can't help but hold a feeling of hatred. I just cannot bring myself to terms with him. He does not dislike me, and he has never really done anything to me to make me feel this way. But just hearing him talk or seeing him when he looks at me makes gives me a sense of anger and I feel a slight pressure in the front of my forehead hearing him talk from the living room. Maybe I am crazy or maybe there is a psychological reasoning behind this. Somebody please educate me. Thank you.

So long story short. My mom would cuss out my da fans their would be frequent flip outs . My dad wanted to get rid of my mom and move but he ended up siding with her. She is the type of person to lie about something. For example today we have a rescue dog and I came home in a good mood we talked for a second or to. I was humming because I had a good day at school. She starts yelling at me to stop antagonizing the dog and how I'm a bully and all types of other names. (She often complains about leg problems and other back stuff that she refuses to go to the doctors about). She zooms upstairs so I did my homework. And played a few games of siege and was laying down on the couch. 1 rule in my house is no sleeping on the couch at night. I was layin their on my phone using pogo ispoofer chilling when my dad comes in . Then he comes upstairs 1 minute later. Started cussing me out because I'm on the couch. And I respect him so I said in the politest way possible. "Why are you cussing me out" he started flipping out more. My mom is yelling that I don't do anything bad I'm always quiet. My question is why is my dad suddenly treating me like trash (my assumption is because he's taking out the negative energy on me that my mom is now giving him) Second wuestion is when can I move out. Third is how do I start making money because I will need a car I know my parents won't buy. Even right now they are talking about me. Also how can I handle this ? And how can I stand up to it?
