My friend was trying to get with this 18yo boy from work 1.5 years ago ( who got eventually fired a month or two later for sexually assaulting another coworker ) She still tried to get with him after the fact but she wouldnt sleep with him so he called over her ex and slept with her instead. They stopped hanging. Fast forward half a year back she was driving around with him getting high and stuff cause they had similar interests. I warned her to stay away from him but she thought i was being ridicculous. Untill apparently him and his friend had plannet to get her high enough to **** her ) Which she considered to be rape and she totally stopped being friends with him and told other people about what happened. Fast forward til march this year she said she still wants to forget it ever happened but then two weeks later she is giving him a ride and told me it wasnt all that bad, and that she feels bad for him and that actually she got over it. Is she desperate or what could be going on? I feel like changing your mind and going back to him as a friend is something you should not do.

Some weeks she will only want to hang out two days a week and then a few weeks later she will want to hang out more. She recently told me today she planned on seeing her friend and she told me who that friend was and I knew who she was talking about. That friend has a lot of drama and caused a lot of drama between are friendship last summer and that friend is negative and has nothing positive to say because I was with her one time and she rather hangs out with those people instead of me and my friends. I know my friend does want to see me but I have to tell her how to do hang outs and what kind of hangouts. Her friends that she has causes trouble and she would be left alone with them. She is allowed to make friends but I am just nervous about those friends that she rather hang outs with for whatever reason.

This all started in my my first semester of senior year of college when I was 21. I had a toxic friend who I gave money to & she refused to pay me back, While I was an idiot giving her money, what bothered me more was how she cared so much about what her other group of associates/friends bought of me. They would gossip to her about how weird I was (to be fair, it was true), then she would repeat what they said to me. I felt like she (and all of the toxic friends/associates/bullies) won in a way, simply because I failed at making good friends after that. All the hate, bullying, and friendship rejections I went through influenced me to become a (temporary) mean woman because I was insecure about how guys felt I was ugly and how I wasn't good enough for genuine friends and I was just a joke because of my weirdness. I don't want to start over by meeting new people because I failed at that. I went to a pole studio & weren't interested in me and two women hated me when I didn't do anything to them. I also tried to go to this international branch devoted to my home country. The people were nice, but they never wanted to interact with me outside the branch so I stopped going. To this day, I am still insecure and I feel like I'm not good enough for real friends which is why I may go back to my old ways of just picking horrible friends without complaining.

I get being acquaintances or distant friends but what of close friendships? Is it possible for heterosexual women to be friends with heterosexual men without one of them wanting more? Does your answer change if one party is married and the other is single?

I use to drink this protein shake all the time with no issues. But ever since last month I've been getting sick and throwing up from it. I also have a stomach ache and have to use the bathroom. Hey guys, i just got my heart broken a week ago. we dated for 2 months, and i was super attracted to her, but more than that, she was very loving and warm towards me. she made me feel really good. We did have fights, more than we would like, but it was mostly because of misunderstanding and right away we would fix it. I work in a small department of a large company. There are 13 people in my department, mostly women. We have a great male boss. Besides being our boss he is our friend. We all just adore him. You move to this area and everyone out here has a 'take nothing off of nobody attitude' If you say something that they don't agree with they will begin starting a heated argument with you. If you offend them they will hurt you or if you get a little assertive with them they will hurt you or start a vigorous argument with you. If you make them mad they would be after you and seek you out. They don't seem to care about having the police called on them. They seem to have ways of confusing policemen, for example, they might instigate you to say something or do something so they can punch you, and then turn the situation around saying well you did this and that was the reason I did what I did thus manipulating police officers. Any way to deal with people like this the whole demographic out here tends to be this way.

so theres this person i am sorta close to and i want to become closer to them since i like them a lot (as a friend of course). we live in completely different states so every interaction we have is through stuff like twitter and imessage. they have a tendency to not answer my messages for like a week, and honestly that bothers me. i understand not answering for like 3 days since of course stuff can pop up and someone can become busy. but the difference is that this person always gives me an excuse, and i would accept it, but i constantly see them messaging other people, and it just makes me wonder.. if they were so busy they couldn't respond to my message then why were they able to answer all these other people's messages? (i know they are because we have common mutuals and they post ss of them messaging eachother) i probably sound crazy but i just think its kinda sh*tty how im making attempts to become closer to them and talk to them, and they know that, but they just dont seem to give a cr*p. im posting this because i want some advice or just someone to tell me that i am crazy lol sidenote: i honestly think i should just give up on becoming closer to them because im trying to make attempts to talk to them and stuff but they never make attempts to talk to me or anything like that. its obvious they dont give a f*** so i should just stop right?
