My roommate is horrible. She NEVER fails to complain. That's all she does. She's annoying and she's rude to me. And her mom keeps trying to tell me what to do and is acting like my babysitter. Oh and my mom is here too, but she is being lovely. We're on a school trip and we aren't little kids anymore (we are freshmen). I understand that someone needs to have authority, but it's not her mom, it is the man in charge of the trip. And she keeps following me around EVERYWHERE! I've been nice to her, but it's really taking its tole on me. Please give me advice so I can get through this week easier.

I really love the earrings and my friend wants me to have them. They are worth about 200 dollars if that matters. However, the friend of the deceased who gave them to my friends mother a while back wants them back, but my friend wants me to have them. I am an acquaintance of the person who wants them back. Should I keep them or give them to the person who gave them to the deceased? My friend wants me to have them and feels the person who wants them back has too much jewelry already, which I know she does have an addiction to jewelry and has a huge amount, but not sure if that is really any reason not to give them to her and somewhat irrelevant. I feel so bad about it, because i want them, but i feel bad not giving them to her. What should I do?

I have a friend that constantly gives advice/opinions about my life. For example, I like to smoke weed occasionally and she says things like "you probably shouldn't get involved with things like that" and I find this really unnecessary because I'm and adult and I can make my own decisions. It's also a bit hypocritical because she drinks so much and makes irresponsible decisions so she's in no place to give me advice. Another thing she said which pissed me off is today we had a sleepover and in the morning when we got up shes like "you should probably wake up and study for your test." I don't need her to act like my mother and treat me like I don't know what I'm doing. I'm in college right now and I think I'm pretty responsible and got my **** together so I get pissed off when she talks like shes superior to me and gives me unsolicited advice. She also like to make fun of people in a joking way and sometimes she says some pretty rude things which also annoy me. I don't no if I'm being too sensitive or If she is in the fault?

Ok, long story. This girl I used to be friends with is completely trying to steal my friends, it's obvious! She hangs out with them a lot, never bothering to include me. And just now, me and my 'best friend' were planning on going to a party together and she tells me she was planning on taking the girl instead and basically said oh you can just go by yourself! Like no, we were planning on going first and you would just leave me in the dust like that for the other girl? I'm just sharing what happened just now because if I wrote out all the other drama of when she has purposely left me out and she doesn't want to hangout with my friends if I'm there, it would be a story. Hello! So I ve know my guy friend for a year a little over. We ve hung out once with my best friend. I ve been trying to get together with him for months, he always texts back, continues the convo. He s a very nice guy and I know he cares about me as a FRIEND. he is not a player at all. Anyways he just confuses me when i asked him o hag to one time he said he had baseball tryouts but that doesnt take all day. When I was in middle school the sun never bothered me. For my athletics class we were always outside on the football field/track and although sometimes the heat was unbearable, it really wasn't that bad I would just have to get wet or something. I stopped taking those classes when high school started and I'm not outside that much anymore and when I do go outside, I have t so much and want to go back inside. Is this because I'm not "used" to the sun anymore or is it just because I got older? (Btw when I say the sun bothers me I don't mean it irritates my skin or makes me sick. It just means it annoys me and I want to go back inside)

I'm a 17 year old junior in high school, and I recently moved countries. I thought it would be good to move and get a fresh start but to be honest this is probably the worst I've ever felt in my life. I know I have social anxiety which is tough to deal with but it makes school everyday near impossible. I had one friend in school but we got into a fight and now I have no friends. The classes I'm taking are really rigorous, which i'm used to because my old school was the same but I have no motivation anymore??? I used to care so much about school and life and I was really happy. yes, I was really anxious but I was able to put it aside and get things down, I can't do that anymore. I've talked to my mom but she's getting tired of hearing about my problems all the time not to mention she's dealing with lots on her own. My friends in my old school are always busy so it's impossible to always talk to them. I've spoken with my doctor, schools counselor and school psychologist but nothing has helped. My grades are falling and I've been extremely depressed and anxious for the longest time, I don't know what to do anymore, I'm close to giving up and each time I pick myself up, something happens, causing me to fall. I can't remember the last time I've went to school for a full week without having to call in sick. I'm so sick of this, not sure what else to do....

I kind of do, but what I feel more bad about is getting people to participate in doing this. I may not mean the things I say, and I know I m only finding the humor in other people s actions, but the thing is, the people I participate in this with probably mean the things they say.

So in 5th grade I was considered tall I was 5'5 and I bullied everyone because I was starting in the basketball team. This one guy who was kinda chubby I bullied in and out of school. Well he hit a huge growth spurt, he's 6'5 in 7th grade and a star basketball player now. He continually bullies me, he pushes me into lockers, steals stuff and holds it over my head. He even took my back pack and put it on the rim of the basketball goal. When I had the gym coach get it down he lied and said I did it and his friends backed up his story. He continually makes my life a living hell. He threw away my homework destroyed my backpack. At one point at a party he flirted with my crush when I was trying to flirt with her and then kissed her in front of me and carried her away while they laughed at me. I know I was mean to him but I never thought he could hurt me or my social life this bad. What makes it worse is that he is a teen model for s clothing line and all the girls at my school love him now. He doesn't bully anyone else except me. It turns out he's being mean to me because I also bullied a close female friend of his into anorexia

I'm not really sure what to do. So, I had this boss who I couldn't stand for many months. Everybody knew I couldn't stand him, nobody could stand him. But it was well known that I "hated" him. Once I started trying to get to know him, I realized he was actually a great guy. He is just a tough guy to work for because he takes work way too seriously. Well, in the last few months, we've gotten closer. I stopped getting an attitude with him and we even started flirting (harmless, innocent flirting). I stupidly have started enjoying the attention and it has caused me to feel infatuated with him. He had his last day at work last weekend, as he's gotten a new job. I wrote him once I found out he left and he told me it's been on his mind a long time to ask me and another friend if we could come to his church for main service one Sunday. I told him we would. The friend said she had other plans today, so I told him we'd just go next Sunday. He said I could always come by myself or bring another friend/former coworker. We ended up going this morning and my former boss had us sit with him (his wife and kids sat elsewhere for some reason). Afterwards, we all talked and he referred to us as his "friends" when introducing us to people, which was sweet. I'm falling pretty hard for him out of nowhere and I don't know what to do because I really like the church, too. I'm 26, he's 37. Also, when we were all talking, he kept looking at me more and facing me with his shoulders and pelvis. When his wife and kids were around, he wasn't even paying them any attention. Seemed strange to me. When we were walking out of the room church was held in, he walked out first with me and my friend following and his wife and kids behind us and they showed no affection to each other and didn't even stand next to each other at all. I saw something on his Facebook from years ago where he mentions having more female friends than guy friends and that he's always been like that. All I did was offer her a hug (we did and she even walked up to me) and the reason I did it was because I just wanted to be there for a coworker/friend(She called me a friend). She was having a hard time at school(high school), missing her friends, and where she use to live. So we talked about that for a moment. I also said to her if she ever wants to hang out let me know. Well she started acting weird and after a few weeks I knew she was uncomfortable with me. Of course it was cause the day we hugged she told me when I asked her. Hello there. I hope this isnt going to be a long question but im 21 almost 22 year old female and im pretty sure im having a life crisis. I am in 3rd year medical school (we dont have preclicinal at our country and it's a 7 years duration from high school) and i just dont love it anymore i hate the fact that all year long i spend 14 hours at the university 8 hours of lectures and 8 or 6 for studying in the library and when the summer comes up i get so excited to finally being able to live again only to find myself not knowing how. All my friends are either getting married and im alone with my books or having fun when im either bailing on them because i have studying to do or im bailing on them because i just dont remember how to talk to people anymore. Im exhausted all the time and because of always working not enough time for my family or friends or any new people i feel overwhelming loneliness. I have this feeling that im never going to find someone who love me and accept the nature of my job. Im terrified of dying alone. I feel lost

Do you have any advice on what I should do? And no I'm not depressed I just don't care. OK, so this is how I feel: I don't care about working I don't care about family I don't care about friends I don't care about people at all I don't want to be friends with anyone, I don't care about working or making money I don't care about eating I don't care about running I don't care about walking I don't care about sleeping I get stressed out over everything I just DON'T CARE!! And it doesn't help. I take medication, it helps me feel good. But I just don't care about anything, really! Actually my medication works just fine for me, every other one that I have tried has made me feel weak, and not good. there's a guy that i've liked for a long time that i finally started texting a few weeks ago. I don't really get "crushes" or like guys without them showing interest first, so this is rare for me it's a long story but basically he can't text all the time- he has a phone that sometimes doesn't get messages until days later. anyway, he was going to sleep the other night and i asked if i could text him later. (which i guess might be an embarrassing question but I just wanted a straight up answer. he's a pretty straightforward guy also, he's kind of awkward, so that's why I didn't feel weird about asking this). I figure he could've been busy (he works a lot), forgot about it, didn't get the message, etc. or maybe he just told me I could text him later to avoid being rude (although ghosting after saying that is more rude IMO) anyway, I was just gonna try one last time. say something like hey haven't heard from you in a while lol how's you're summer going? Or something to that effect. I feel depressed and very lonely, because I had a close friend for more than 3 years. But she stopped talking and told me she did not want to talk to me any more because she got really mad with me... She contacted the police because I kept trying to apologize almost every day ..... We have not spoken in 3 months, but I want to talk to her really bad. Should I talk to her one more time ???? I'm a woman, but I've problems in getting along with other women This isn't internalized misogyny 'I'm not like other women'/'women are all drama or bitchy'. I'm Autistic so socializing is difficult, but with women it's worse. Around high school girls socialization became more complex and I didn't learn to follow those subtle unwritten rules. I'm okay socializing with guys, but with women it's uncomfortable and they never seem to like me. Past high school I've had no female friends. I dress and appear very feminine but that's just on a superficial level, so initially when people first meet me then they assume I'm a girly girl, but really I'm a lot more like a dude in how I think and socialize. I often find I'm put in groups with women but I feel like an alien among them, or women approach me but soon they realize I'm not one of them...while guys assume I'm either one of the girls, or they see me as a romantic interest which means they take my being friendly the wrong way, thus I struggle to make friends.
