So here some background information to get started... I am 22 and my sister is 19. Both of my parents have an issue with us growing up. They cannot handle that we both have boyfriends and are about to be on our own very soon (at least I am). The reason why I am living with them is because I am a full-time college student and I have a year left before I graduate. I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years. My mom does not have a problem with him personally but my dad does like him because he is Spanish. My dad is from Lebanon so I do not know if that has to do with anything of him being the way he is. Besides the fact that my boyfriend is Spanish, he is hardworking, makes great income, and drives two luxury SUV's (this is not important to me but it's important to my dad). But my dad still hates him because he is of another race/ethnicity. He rather both of us only date white, rich and preppy looking guys (not easy for find and I am not interested). My sister's boyfriend is white American but my dad still doesn't like him because he has a long beard and is kind of chubby. He also doesn't like him because he drives an older car.. Nothing fancy. So to end the this brief background info.. They are both going to be out of town and my mom told the neighbor to "watch my two girls because I will be out of town. No boys! And if you see boys come then call me ASAP!" I overheard her say this to the neighbor and it is just humiliating because most normal people trust their adult kids Also, when I told my mom I might be moving out soon she asked "Where and with who?" and when I told her I might just be moving in with just a friend.. she was like "What friend and can I have her number?" If I move out, I will have to work full time and take less classes in which I will finish up later. I am still debating on which one is worth sacrificing. I already pay my car insurance and phone with the money I saved up from working. The only thing that would add to my bills is rent and utilities. I am debating on staying with mommy and daddy and following rules while I am still going to school? Or trying to make ends meet by paying rent and utilities while taking less college courses. To those who assume I ask for money. I pay my own bills and food. The only thing I do not pay is rent and utilities.

One day, I'm going to grow old and die of natural causes. Hopefully when I'm well into my hundreds. Does my physical life count as something that I'm sharing with my wife? Is this why people get married? To be a part of each other's PHYSICAL LIFE? Or when people talk about spending/sharing life together, do they mean their hobbies and the things that they have in common? Like my wife and I have a common interest in anime. Is the point of our marriage then to spend/share our common interests together, but leave the boring things to the other person to deal with until they can be entertaining again? I guess I just don't understand what you're sharing. I mean, what if I became SO boring that the only "fun" I have is driving 5 miles over the speed limit? Does that mean that I'm no longer sharing my "life" with my wife since I've entered a state of boredom and understimulation? Would my marriage be null and void until I spent money or I became interesting again and I stimulated her like a cup of coffee would? I guess my question is - is marriage about sharing time and moments or sharing fun and pleasure?

My parents are having financial issues and I'm not exactly sure if I should help them out by giving them my savings. I am 22 years old and just recently graduated from university with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and moved to California to live with my bf who is 29 to start a career. While going to school, I had been working two part time jobs to save money in order to hopefully purchase a home in the near future(I've been saving before I had met my bf). My stepdad has been retired for seven plus years and my Mum is an ER nurse. Although, she makes a good living being a nurse and he gets SS the money and pension it isn't enough, because he's constantly in the hospital for whatever reason and recently had neck surgery & not too long afterwards he had hand surgery. My Mum has decent health insurance because she works for a private hospital but that only seems to make a minor dent in the amount that they owe. I don't have the best relationship with my parents, but I care enough to help them out financially. I haven't spoken to my boyfriend about this yet as I only found out about the finanical hardship not too long ago. Although its my money saved, I'd like to think that its my ours since we share everything. I understand that this is something that needs to be spoken about but I feel like id still like to give them the money even if he's against it. My bf makes about $120,000.00 and I make about $80.000.00 so its not as if we're both struggling. 29,000.00 is a lot to give.

I have major self esteem issues. I am a 17 year old Asian American girl. Bullying started in middle school and kids made fun of my eyes and my extra weight and how short I was. I can't stand letting my aunt and them to live in filfth. The house they live in gotten worst. absolutely disgusting, uncle handicapped, my aunt and older cousin can move around i have a autism cousin who lives there aswell...really feel bad for him! I am a LEO, I have feelings for an AQUARIUS male. Him and I met via mobile and I had tried to stay in contact with him for like a year now. What would cause a 26-year-old nurse with a good high-paying job at a magnate hospital and a thirty-year-old Navy veteran to not leave home (or return home after leaving)? I have two friends--brothers--who are still at home. One brother is a nurse at a magnate hospital, good, high-paying job, is already engaged and will be married in December, and yet he's still living at home. The other is a former sailor who lived on his own in an apartment in a naval base in Guam during his tour (and in Chicago outside the base). After he got out of the Navy, he went back home and has never left. He doesn't drive either. He just bikes or takes the bus or the train. It doesn't matter what I do or how nice I am, I barely have any friends, and every guy I come across has that 1 or few girls they'd rather be with or actually fights for, I'm always the second choice or the back up plan etc, I'm just never worth it or good enough for anyone. I have a coworker whom I had some issues with and we have been talking lightly again. I said to him I just realized he was never going to like me, and that I should have realized it because of his past behavior, and some hurtful things he said. Hi. I am 21 years old. When I was in high school my history teacher raped me one night during a school dance. I blocked it out as much as possible but when I was ready (which happened to be 2 years later my senior year) I told the police. I decided to press charge but the judge apparently wouldn't believe he raped me so I had to say it was consensual in order to put him behind bars. I was a minor at the time so he did go to jail. I was looking around the Internet and typed in my high school and teacher sleeping with student. I found an article about him and I just started reliving that day in my head. It was horrible. My brother never knew because my parents sheltered him because he was 14 at the time... I was 16.
