When we hear something funny, we look and smile at each other. We always do work together and text. He always tries to sit next to me. Once, he told me "If i asked you out, would you say yes?" I told him no. I was lying, obviously. He said "Well that hurt a little." And laughed. Also, he asked me if I was his best friend. I said, "of course you are" he said "good. Your mine too." And we smiled. He also acts like if we're dating. He cups his hands on my face and strokes my hair. But nothing very serious. A couple years ago we ACCIDENTALLY bumped into each other and kissed for like 2 seconds. I did not like him at the time. We swore we wouldnt tell anyone. But i feel like he only likes "pretty girls" and i think its safe to say im not very pretty, but im not ugly. Sometimes he acts like he likes the personality, which is when i like him even more. I had never met him, but my grandma is close w/ his mom so she invited him over. That night we talked a lot and he got my number. The next day he added me on FB & texted me saying he really liked meeting me /Lets hang out soon. We worked on making plans for 2 weeks & texted a couple days a week in relation. Setting it was hard cuz of his surgery sch. 5-8 everyday + hes on call a lot which may mean @ the hospital 24 hrs+. I like him A LOT, but didn't know what our hangout would mean, we met through family so it could be a date or just friends. We went to a restaurant, got dinner & hookah. I felt like we vibed-he asked me a lot about my past relationships, If I'm seeing anyone, places we should go.. he paid, he dropped me off at home. That was Wednesday. He didn't text me for a couple days. (While we were at the restaurant I saw a guy who used to STALK me, I mentioned it to him & we had a convo on it. Saturday the stalker messaged me 5 times. We did that, him his friend, and a couple co workers. To make a long story short, that was the only time that he hangout with employees. Let me rewind a bit, after we made the plans (over facebook) I didn't talk to him for the next 4 or 5 days leading up to before we went out. We had a pretty good time, but I was suprised at how much more quiet he was when we were hanging out then he is at work (very flirty at work!) After friending him on Facebook, messaging him and asking him to go out for drinks, and messaging him a couple days later after we went out, I feel like it would be time for him to put in some effort to show he is interested. We've always been very close (our families are friends) and when we were younger we'd "play" and stuff. He'd always had a little crush on me and even though I thought he was very cute and all, I knew I never could like him (unless we were very much older) but I still do have a crush on him. Now a days he'll come over to our house for bon fires and vice verca and we go to the playground and go on swings and stuff, but I feel super wrong because I like him back but he's only a child? What is my problem? It's not like I can't get a boy my age, in 8th grade I had dated a boy my age and I just didn't have any "attraction" to him. The main thing that bugs me now is that he is in going into 6th grade and I'm going into my sophomore year for high school. Is this wrong? |

His life appears to be pretty perfect - everybody loves him, he has a completely normal family, lives in a super nice/big house, is super outgoing, always happy, and has so many friends. I, on the other hand, won't go into details but my life is really opposite. I honestly have no idea why he's with someone like me. It's hard because things I could tell him I don't want to because I'm not sure he can relate and I don't want him to be like "what the f*ck why am I with this girl". I don't even know what I'm asking but I guess does anyone have any advice? I want him to open up to me but I'm not really sure as to what has even gone wrong in his life. |
