I just became a RA on the top floor in one of the halls and my boyfriend coincidentally got roomed on the bottom floor of the same building. I'm not his RA, but he's still in the same building as me. Personally I feel a little smothered because I like my alone time, and although I love spending time with her and we like each other very much, I don t want her to feel smothered in the same way. She only comes back from college periodically so I know that it will be a couple of weeks before I see her again, hence us trying to spend a lot of time together before she leaves again. Is it normal to feel this way? If this continues, how do I approach this in a mature and communicative manor and avoid conflict in telling her I feel smothered? (She is going to be home for about a month so there will be an opportunity for us to see each other every day). Almost every weekend after we started dating i get invited to their home and i have no problem strikkng up a conversation with her mother or her little sister. But for some reason it just gets awkward between me and her dad every time we try to talk to eachother, our conversations lasts only about for five minutes on a good day. It sort of bugs me because her little sister is seeing a guy, and they seem to have no problem whatsoever. They can sit and joke around and laugh, but me and her dad only sort of smile politley at eachother. I know that he tries just as hard as i do, but truth is we have no common interest whatsoever, it's pretty much his daughter we can talk about. At first i thought maybe he was a bit shy, but it's been four months now, i care for this girl and i want things to work between us, because things are going great, but if things eventually get more serious i need to have a better relationship with her dad. I suppose I got strong feelings too early and put her on a pedestal cause of her personality, intelligence and looks, but they're still there even though I haven't spoken to her for a year since the start of college cause of different lessons/friends, although she's off the pedestal somewhat. I'm sure she remembers me but I can't just let those feelings disappear without at least asking her out, it's just initiating contact again after all this time. Its summer right now and I've been dating this amazing girl for 4 mounths. Our relationship seems that it was getting better and better but all if a sudden she texts Me saying that she wants to break up because she's going to hold me back from school, she then goes on to say that high school relationships don't last. She tells me that she loves me and because of that she's not going to let herself hold me back. I tell her that I love her and she says that Im not feeling love. She says I'm only feeling lust and that she loves me but I wouldn't understand. I don't know if she actually believes that but I do love her. She tells me that I could find someone better anyway. I talked her out of it but she's still comtiplateing breaking up with me. She wrong, I love her. She's super unique, there's no one like her. Bow just her smile and her eyes but her personality. She has such an amazing personality. I can't imagine being with anyone els. I don't want anyone els only her and I'm super scared. I don't want to lose her and I feel like I'm going to soon. If I do I will never find anyone like her again. What should I do? |

He has never been violent towards me. I once caught him in a lie and he texted me that if he saw me at that moment he would punch me in my face, that was the most violent he has been to me but this was months ago. Today we had a argument. It wasn't even the worst argument we've had, except this time he punched me. We had tension in the air at my house and I chose to take him home. When I got to his house he wouldn't get out the car. He put my car in park and took the keys and my phone. He told me he would break the key and my phone. He put the key in the air vent and started pulling down but he stopped when I asked for my phone. So, he threw it on his gravel driveway and cracked it. I tried to push him out the car and he just punched me in the abdomen, hard. He kept telling me sorry and he didn't mean to and that he messed up and that he wouldn't ever hurt me again but I don't know that for sure. But like always, I forgave him. We went out to get ice cream and he was kind of laughing about the punch and making jokes of it. I don't know what to think or what to do. I just can't get past the fact that he punched me. |

I'm not in a relationship rn but when I do get into one, how do I be just friends with attractive girls? What do I do with all the girls I follow or have on snapchat because they are attractive? What about when family friends, or even distant family comes that I never see that are attractive? I don't get it at all! Basically how do you know look at women in that way. |
