Or when i'm messaging someone and they just spam emojis with every single thing they say. It's so annoying! Me, "Hey" Friend, "Hey :) :D :D :)" "What's up?" "Nothing really :D:D:D :)" That was a simple example, they don't use the smile, just completely random ones. Do they think it's funny? Do they think it makes the conversation cooler? It's really dumb and it's so annoying. So many people do this and i hate it. One person told me, "Well it's because we're on a phone and we can". You can on the computer too, so why don't you there?? Advice would be nice, etc. I just sort of have been feeling disappointed at her for the past few weeks and talking to her never works. I'm 16 and I have known my best friend for 6 years now. We are so close and have no other friends as close as each other. We do everything together and such. She has a cousin who is a year younger and does some things i don't see appropriate, like has tried drugs, bj's, constantly with boys, and such. My bestie went on a date with a boy from down there. I didn't approve of this boy, and neither did my best friends brother because he did lots of drugs, but my best friend didn't care. So we to the boys at one point and then we left because I was uncomfortable around them because they were high. We went back to the house. They said that the cousin needed feminine products so my best friend and her went out. My best friend left her phone in the bathroom and i saw texts popping up saying that my best friend was with the boy. I was broken. When they came back, I acted distant, and my best friend told me she did stuff. She then promised me she wouldn't do it again, but then a few days later she was back down there doing things with a different guy. I've lost my trust in my friend and I want her to change. She was like "Yeah you remember Nathan? What an idiot" that just pissed me off but I didn't want to make a scene so I just ignored it.You see, in high school Nathan liked Ashley very much. Ashley didn't like him back but just used him for homeworks or stuff. She pretended to like him when she needed him. Nathan joined the Marines after graduating high school and died in action in Afghanistan in 2010. How can you talk so bad about a guy who died in war at the age of 19? How can she talk like that of a guy that liked her?Shortly before Nathan left for basic she texted him they could never be together and that she didn't care what he did. Ashley has always been a good friend,supportive and caring to me and to other people,generally she's a good person but it just pisses me off how she treated Nathan,even if I was never very close to him it breaks my heart Nathan was probably heartbroken when he died @Skunky: I've thought about it,but the thing is that to ME and other people she's always kind and supportive,a good friend. |

The minute she looked at him, she freaked out for some reason. She says he was doing something then he got up and left so suddenly. The reason why Rachel freaked out is because she didn't know what happened. so it's probably why she freaked out, but i'm not so sure. Arriving at the house, another man, Tim turned around the corner to greet Rachel and her mother. But she remembers feeling very terrified. Because Tim was giving her a danger look as if to say ''Leave or I will kill you'. So later on, something real bad happened when she was alone. Tim might of been there. Anyway, soon after Rachel and her mom finished visiting Tim. She started showing signs. She started 'feeling' herself at young age and she told me she had sexual thoughts and dreams. She would want to watch porn, but never did. Also, she used to cut herself and run away. I think because of what happened to her. She gets bothered too easily. She also developed serious trust issues and doesn't trust anybody, including her parents. She also doesn't like and is scared to be touched. So, was she sexually abused? If yes, was it Tim? There's 5 people in my group of friends, not including me, 2 of them I became friends with in 3rd grace and the other 3 I became friends with in 7th grade. But 2 of the people I met in middle school are doing to a different high school than the rest of us They are the greatest friends I have ever had. She'll be in 9th grade soon and started high school in 8th grade. I'm a 19 year old and I find it incredibly cringing and disturbing to even imagine young girls who are in high school (they would've just finished middle school if there were any in the school system but there isn't so they're pushed to high school straight from elementary school) do adult things. She hasn't started doing any of that stuff yet, but maybe she might if other high schoolers pressure her into it, peer pressure is a big thing amongst kids these days. I know I'm not her parent and I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm being a bad influence on her by talking to her about it. She's always been like a little sister to me and I met her when she was 11, now she's growing up so fast! She showed me profiles of girls in her grade (a few from other schools but are still her age) on ask.fm and they do something called "tbhs" aka to be honest which means they write opinions about someone. One girl wrote "tbh you're bomb and you're a great friend, booty goals 10/10 and you secretly go to frats hehe". Should I tell her that I'm worried? When I was at that age 5 years ago I wanted to party too and drugs and alcohol was the last thing on my mind, my mom was protective and said no. Now I look back and the idea of teens doing that makes me cringe knowing what kind of things can happen. She never did any of those things but my concern is that they might try to push her into doing it. |

I see her as a friend and enjoy her company, but I don't know if she sees me vice versa. I'll ask her to hangout and she always has an excuse or reason to why she can't. Ask to see a movie, get together with a group of friends, anything, but always some excuse. Sometimes, I know these excuses are blatant bullshit, and it hurts because I don't understand why she just can't say no, it would feel so much better. However, there are random times when she just messages me out of the blue asking to hangout. However, about 70 percent of those times, usually end up on her flaking on me. We are heading off to College and I wanted to try and hangout with her a little before it started (although we are only 20 mins apart). Any ideas, or advice? |

In summer 2 years ago, she went back to her country for vacation for a month. At the same time, I was having a tough time in my life, moving in and out, trying to adjust myself to changes etc. Then she came back and asked if I was ok. I welcomed her back and explained my tough time in my life. She was upset that I didn't contact her at all. But I had thought that she would be busy during her vacation, and honestly, I was depressed about my situation so much that I didn't even contact any of friends unless it was necessary. I apologized and asked her to hang out now that she was back. Then she said "I wish you the best of luck in your life" and cut me off. That was the last time that I talked to her. I tried contacting her but she didn't return my texts and calls. Mutual friends told me that she was mad at me and spreading false rumors about me. I felt hurt but I thought it was very immature, so I stopped thinking about her. But then there is this mutual friend who is very close to me, and she happens to be very close to my ex-friend as well. She often hangs out with my ex-friend and asks me to become friends with her again. She wants us all to be friends. Should I? Should I just let go of all the things that have happened and talk to her again? But is it worth the effort? What should I do? |

She would make rude remarks randomly for no reason. These past few months, she's been doing that more frequently & more harshly. For instance, she was saying how I look like this other friend of hers except her friend was prettier than me. I'm pretty shy in school (bc I have social anxiety) so I don't really talk that much & she's outgoing. One day she says, "You're invisible" & when I tried to just laugh it off, she just kept repeatedly saying, "You're invisible" and "You know I'm right." And maybe she's just the type of person who's really honest & openly shares her opinions and unintentionally hurts me but I doubt it bc she has admitted to me randomly "I'm nice to everyone except you, idk why." Another time I was joking about how I think this girl hates me & she says, "I think everyone hates you, *my name*." We were with a mutual friend when she said it. I could write this off as a joke except she said it matter-of-factly & seriously. She even said that she's my only friend & she's the only person I talk to (which isn't true) but she talks to me the most out of all her friends (but she randomly says "*name* is my best friend." or *name* is #1 & you're not even on my 'list'.) The only reason I'm still friends with her despite all this is bc sometimes she's really nice & can be really fun too. But I just hate feeling so annoyed & angry. |

The truth is that I'm quite different from Spanish teenagers but I'm either like Norwegian ones. This is more a guide rather than a question. I just wanted to let you know that here in Spain friends are totally the opposite of loyal. If you're from another country and come to Spain, you will be received really well and kindly, and make friends quickly. But once you have your group of friends and you've been totally integrated with these friends, don't get surprised when they betray you, speak bad about you or behave very aggresively. Friendships between Spanish teenagers are really easy to make, but are extremely unstable and disloyal. Let me know your opinions and experiences in the answers. |

So in relation, I don't get as many. I don't mind it as much. When people start bringing this up and saying the number of likes I get is pathetic, I get affected. I'm not sure how to get more. The 40 likes are quality - my boyfriend, my two best friends are included in them. No one cares about that, they just care about the number. It is annoying to deal with and I find myself just trying to friend random acquaintances in order to try and get more likes but it never works. Posted: 27 Jul 2016 08:30 AM PDT So, when my friend (Rachel), was just a baby, Rachel and her mother was on a airplane. She was a naturally calm baby and she was fussing with her mom. So she saw a older guy, AirGuy, The minute she looked at him, she freaked out for some reason. She says he was getting in this kind of machine then he got up and left so suddenly. He left so quick that she thought was strange and freaked out over that. Later at the house.. This guy, Oddy, turned around the corner to greet Rachel and her mother. But Rachel remembers feeling VERY scared. Because Oddy was giving her a danger look as if to say 'Stay away or I'll kill you'. Later, she was alone when something bad happened. Oddy might of been there. Soon when they went home. Rachel started showing signs of abuse. She started 'touching' herself at early age and she told me she had sexual thoughts and dreams. She would want to watch porn, but never did. There were some other things too. Also, she used to cut herself and run away. I think because of what happened to her. She is always gets bothered with people and whines too much. She also developed serious trust issues and doesn't trust anybody not even her parents. She also doesn't like and is scared to be touched. So, was she abused? If yes, was it Oddy? Idk if it was AirGuy. How can I help her and what can she do? She's afraid to tell anyone about her past, even her parents. I'm the only person she ever told. I have asked at least 3/4 times when are we all going to hang out, what do you guys wanna do, we need to hang sometime, let s have a sleepover, etc. but all they say is "yeah we need to hang! I ll ask my mom about a sleepover..." But then they never get back to me about hanging out. It s been 2 weeks since Kayla said she would ask her mom. Yesterday, I saw Kayla and Britne posting on snapchat that they were hanging out together, just them two. I felt left out and wondered why they hadn t asked me to join. I asked again when we would hang out, they said sometime, and then Brittany and Kayla went and hung out AGAIN with a few other people. They had some sort of pool party or pool hang out. Why am I never asked to go? In school, we talk everyday. In summer, I m left out. Advice? |

If you don't know who Loren is search up "Loren Beech" on Google or YouTube. Now let's go on to the story/issue. Okay, so let's go from the beginning. I met Loren in Elementary school and we where quite good friends all the way through and into the first year of Middle as well. She was chill and really nice but throughout our friendship I always envied her a weeny bit. She was gorgeous and got along with everyone. She became really popular in the second year of middle and joined the schools cheer team while I stayed quiet and unpopular. I am unattractive as well. We then kind of grew apart a little, around this time she started getting famous off musically. We still hung out but she got busier and busier and more gorgeous as she got more famous. She left school and left me. I would still call her and ask her to hang out but she was too busy like always. Now that I got completely cut out of her amazing life due to the fact she changed her phone number like 5 times and found new amazing famous friends I can't help but feeling envy. Loren is out their getting amazing opportunities and modelling while I am still this ugly squat in school following her every move. It makes me so mad that she probably forgot about me. She doesn't have a car so the entire time I was there I took her to work and dropped her kids off and ran errands for her for free. I did that because she was letting me stay there for free. I helped change diapers and fix bottles and was bascially like a live in nanny. My best friend has said in the past that sometimes she's jealous of me and it shows. She doesn't like that I get more attention and that I am single with no kids. We are both 22 but she has 3 kids and is not married. If someone calls me pretty in front of her or compliments me she will roll her eyes. The day I was moving she started acting strange. She told her sister that I was acting "funny" because I was moving into my new place. At first my best friend said she was mad because I didn't say thank you for letting me stay. I told her thank you the day I moved ib but not the day I left. So I told her thank you and she's still mad. I just let the friendship go. What could be her problem? |

She can't find a good relationship to save her life and it really bothers her. Without going into details, her life is a mess. Much of it is her fault but I still feel really bad for her. That said, she says some obnoxious stuff to me sometimes. For instance, she told me the fact that I take selfies is indicative of a mental disorder. But she takes selfies too! She just covers it by using goofy filters or taking it with her daughter , but to me that's just using the kid as a prop. Still a selfie. She also tells me I'm stubborn and have a short fuse...I literally have no idea what elements of my personality that she has seen make her think that. We've been friends for 7 years and I got mad at her once. Our fight consisted of me telling her what made me angry and her apologizing and me accepting it. That's it. Sounds like a pretty functional friendship right? Until she baselessly psychoanalyses me. Once I had a disagreement with my husband in front of her and she tried to mediate and said I can be stubborn... wtf?! Literally based on nothing. I feel her saying to me that I have anger problems because when she says it, it does make me angry! Though I wouldn't dare show it cause then she would just feel vindicated so I just smile and shrug every time she says it. |
