Question: Any advice on what I should do? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 04:51 PM PDT So I have this neighbor who likes to flirt with me, even though he is married. He has wolf whistled at me before while I'm riding my bicycle and has even talked to me before in a flirty way. He has made me feel uncomfortable to even ride my bicycle in the road because I fear he will see or talk to me. He lives to the right of me and I usually ride my bike to the right, but now I'm thinking I need to ride it to the left and avoid the right or taking my bike somewhere else to ride. Any advice on what I should do?

Posted: 04 Jun 2020 03:37 PM PDT So I have a friends baby shower next weekend. I have known the girl since I was 11, and we are almost 30 now. There will be a group of three other girls there that I used to be best friends with, and they have all dropped me basically. and we are not friends anymore. If I attend, I know those 3 girls will do everything they can to make it extremely uncomfortable for me. My question is, do I brave it and go and act like I am not afraid of them? Or do I just sit it out? It's not worth the stress.
Question: Pattern of introducing friends and then them getting closer? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 03:26 PM PDT Ive realized that throughout my life there have been so many times where I've introduced friends to friends and then they've gotten closer to each other and left me behind. Sometimes it has been more natural and I haven't cared, but recently two of my friends turned on me together though I did nothing wrong (one of them was even my best friend). I'm hesitant to keep introducing my friends to one another and feel I've developed trust and jealousy issues from this pattern throughout my life. What am I doing wrong?

Question: Do I have a right to be upset?!? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 01:31 PM PDT have a good friend who I was roommates with freshman year and we're going to room again in an apartment She's a good friend to me. She texts first most of the time but sometimes she can be a little much and unnecessary but all in all, she's a decent friend. She told me a couple of weeks ago she brought me one of my favorite movies. And then told me something she was making for the apartment. I texted her today telling her my mom was covering our renter's insurance and she ignored me! I sent it 3 hours ago and she's been on Snapchat because it keeps saying she's been active like 5 minutes ago. I find it kind of annoying especially when all she has to do is say ok. It's one thing to forget abt the text but It's honestly making me angry af because I feel like she's doing some shady stuff and trying to avoid me or just mad at me. I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but there's rlly no excuse not to answer one simple text. Plus it keeps saying she's been active on Snapchat all day like I really can't believe her!! I've not answered her in a day before but there was a reason. She didn't read the text and I deleted it from my phone so that I don't have to look at it anymore but its now the next day and it's almost 5 and still nothing. I don't wanna be obsessive or anything but I shouldn't have to sit here and wonder and it really messes with my self-esteem. Do I have a right to be mad about this? What should I do?

Question: What are some fun things to do with a friend? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 11:22 AM PDT I'm a 22 year old guy and I have a friend, same age as I, that is a girl. We are just friends. The complete pandemic lockdown is ending and I'm trying to think of stuff for us to do. She is an online friend, and I've only met her in person a couple times. We've already gotten ice cream and I'm trying to think up some good ideas. I need another idea that is casual, and not too much work for me. Because I'm the one putting in enough effort already.
Question: Does this sound like I'm letting this guy know she is interested? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 10:17 AM PDT Just say you got in touch with a guy who you heard was moving away in a few months. He never told you he was moving away. His brother told your friend. So you contact him on social media (he never gave you his social media details, you googled him) to say goodbye, pretending you thought he was leaving instantly and he replies saying he wont be going away for months if he actually does. You reply saying you only got in touch because you thought he was moving soon and didn't want to miss wishing him well on his way. Then he comes down to where you are having coffee with friends the following day and you all chat about his plans. Then for the next few months he comes over every times he sees you with your friends to have a chat.

Posted: 04 Jun 2020 05:12 AM PDT i think about my best friend all of the time and always want to call and text her. i've sort of been this way since a kid. like when i think of her, i get super happy and warm inside. i sort of view her as a parental figure too sometimes. is this normal? |

Question: My grandma wants me to move right next ti her but my ex friend lives near? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 01:34 AM PDT A year ago my friend and I were talking and got in a fight. She called me ugly and thats when I ended our friendship. Well recently I came into a lot of money, my grandma wanted me to get a house by her, but the problem is, my old friend lives right across the street and recently she messaged me trying to repair our friendship. I just dont wanna deal with that right now. Any advice? Like i miss her but alot is happening right now
Question: How do people find out if you died? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:47 PM PDT I'm not going to die, but I've thought a lot about it. I always wondered what happens afterwards? Who tells your friends? Is it ethically okay to post a suicide note online or send it to your close friends? How else would they find out?

I sent it 3 hours ago and she's been on Snapchat because it keeps saying she's been active like 5 minutes ago. Idk I'm a little hurt by this and I find it kind of annoying especially when all she has to do is say ok. It's one thing to forget abt the text but it's been all day which is like 10hrs and no one goes that long without checking their messages. It's honestly making me angry af because I feel like she's doing some shady stuff and trying to avoid me or just mad at me. I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but there's rlly no excuse not to answer one simple text Should I just delete it to calm my anxiety and give her a taste of her own medicine because I'll keep checking if she viewed it or not. |
Question: My best friend used to dislike me? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 07:37 PM PDT I'm going into high school this upcoming school year, so my school just mailed all promoting eighth graders the letters we wrote to our future selves from fifth grade. My best friend sent me a picture of hers, and laughed because one of the things she wrote was "(My name) is really rude and annoying and I hope she changes in 8th grade and I also wonder if I will still not like her in 8th grade."This is kinda weird to say on here, but she said she disliked me because I was always talking about periods and puberty and stuff...lmao. I'm not mad or anything, but I can't help but wonder if I'm still annoying to her sometimes. I feel like my personality has changed a lot (in a positive way) since then though. Anyway, I don't really know if I should forget about it or if I should say something.

Question: Why is she ignoring me?!? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 06:24 PM PDT I take a lot of things personal but at least I admit it. I have a good friend who I was roommates with freshman year and we're going to room again in an apartment She's a good friend to me. She texts first most of the time but sometimes she can be a little much and unnecessary but all in all she's a decent friend. She told me a couple weeks ago she brought me one of my favorite movies. Idk I'm a little hurt by this and I find it kind of annoying especially when all she has to do is say ok. It's one thing to forget abt the text but it's been over 3 hrs and no one goes that long without checking their messages. It's kinda making me upset, What should I do? Make that 10 hrs ago. It's making me think she's mad at me or something or doing something shady. What should I do?
