We stayed friends but I ended up liking her alot and it was killing me because I dont think anything was changing so I just told her how I felt but she basically said its because we are at different parts of our lives because she wants to start a family and settle down and I havent even started my career path yet. I explained though why that is (anxiety issues) I want to join the military but im getting problems fixed first. Im 21 and shes 23. She understood and said she liked spending time with me but strictly as friends. She was glad I was honest about it. I just told her I understand and ill see her around. He's usually really sweet to me, and he takes care of me. I know that sounds kind of stupid but it really means a lot to me - even before all this, my parents were never really loving, so I think it's made me love him even more. The first time he hit me was when we were arguing, so I kind of understood, and he apologized a lot and was even nicer for a while after. But recently, since we're together all the time now without school/work, he's been getting more violent and I don't know what to do. Sometimes he just gets mad at me for the littlest things, and he's started really hurting me - not just slapping me, but leaving bruises and stuff. He's always super apologetic afterwards. I really don't want to leave him - and I really can't, because I don't have any way to support myself right now. I guess I just want to know if anyone has advice on how to ask him not to do it anymore without making him angry. Sorry if this was a long question, I just don't have anyone to talk to about it. |

However, our relationship started off very rocky and we ended up breaking up twice. But things have been quite stable for the past year. A couple of days ago, we were talking about a Twitch streamer who was accused of sexual assault. The same streamer posted a whole Google Drive filled with a bunch of text messages in a rebuttal to the accusations, which my bf and I read and discussed. One of the text messages said something along the lines of "I have a lot of things going on and I just moved to a new place, so I want to stay single for some time" (or something like that). My boyfriend pointed those text messages out and said "let me tell you, if a guy ever gives an excuse to not be with you, that means he's really not into you and is looking for a cop out" and "he's a player". HOWEVER. My boyfriend gave me an excuse when we first started dating 3 years ago. After visiting him the first time and then bringing up our relationship status, he told me he didn't want anything serious at the moment because of a bunch of excuses (later I found out he was dating someone for over 7+ years). | Question: I think my friend was sexually teasing me in a lesson, what should I do? Posted: 27 Jun 2020 04:10 PM PDT So I'm a dude in year 9 and I was in a lesson with two of my female friends. We sat alone at the very back of the class. For the whole day one of them had been talking about how tired and out of it they were, but in this lesson she was saying stuff like "I am so tired I literally wouldn't care if you touched my boobs" over and over again. I'm a very timid guy so I didn't exactly pick up on the offer right away. My friend group has always been very sexual so I just thought it was our typical banter, and at some point she turned away from me to show our other friend that she could undo her whole shirt just by pulling on it since her boobs were so big, so I jokingly said "hey how come I don't get to see that?" To which she just responded with "fair enough" and turned to me and did the same thing. At this point I realised how serious she was and was definitely enjoying myself. At some point two of the buttons on her shirt came undone, exposing her. When I told her her shirt was undone she said she couldn't be bothered to do it back up, to which I responded "well I'll do it for you then" and did it up for her. We all laughed it off. At some point she offered to let me put my hand up her skirt, which I happily complied with but the bell went before I could do anything. I have no idea if she was just really tired or if she might like me. Should I ask her about it or pretend it didnt happen? I know it sounds like a horny teenager made it up but please I really need advice. |

| Question: Is it normal to feel like we should break up? Posted: 27 Jun 2020 04:03 PM PDT We've been together for almost 3 years now. I just cant see a clear future with him anymore, the older we get and the more he talks of getting a house scares me. Im 19 I cant afford to maintain a house, I work two retail jobs. I gave up c ollege 3 times bc he never supported me through it (he was worried id meet other people or guys, spend less time with him, he thinks school is a waste) it just so hard, i love him to death but hes so codependent on me for his happiness and wellbeing. He says things like "you're the only thing that makes me happy" and when he's really feeling down he'll say I'm the only reason hes alive, its terrifying. I can barely take care of my own mental health and I have his on top of mine, it's kinds draining. I feel so bad and guilty for thinking this way and running to the internet but I'm scared that im giving up my life so young. I feel like i wont experience life properly like this. I've already given so much up since I was 16, a lot of it was influenced by this relationship. I love and care for him so much, the thought of hurting him makes me want to vomit. Hes so unhappy and tired and I feel like I cant do anything for him. He's always saying how devoted and in love with me he is but i feel like his mental health and wellbeing is more important than his love for me. This relationship is starting feel codependent, almost complacent? I feel like we need to part to work on ourselves or something. We're going down the same foggy road constantly. |
