Question: Does my friend have the right to be mad at me? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 03:53 PM PDT Towards the beginning of this past school year she wanted to hangout with me a few times, but I sorta lied to her.. I told her I was busy or that I had lots of homework when I was really hanging out with another friend. Being honest, most of those times she suggested to hangout first but then I chose my other friend. I only did that because she can be boring at times and quiet. And my other friend is more fun and spontaneous. I also posted pics on my social media so she found out they were lies and I told her that I just preferred my other friend. She also stopped texting me. Recently she got a new hairstyle which gave her more confidence and her personality got much better. So now I want to hangout with her, and she replied saying that I was a b*tch and that I should go hangout with my other friend. Now I kinda miss her. How could I get her to talk to me again? |
Question: Why I’m struggling to get friends, girlfriend ? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 02:58 PM PDT I'm 18 years old male. And yes I've been struggling my entire life to get girlfriend or friends. And that is just pathetic, because other people can get lots of friends, girlfriends anything.. But I have to struggle, because no one wants me... I hate this, why people are so mean and evil towards me ? I don't get it.. Every time I go outside I see teenagers even younger than me, they are having fun times with their friends ? What about me ? I have to walk alone, with nobody, because people are rejecting me. When I'm trying to get friends on Snapchat, IG (Instagram) people will always ignore me days later.. Why always me ? I don't get this, and I'm so pissed off, literally angry, full of rage. |
Question: Why do I feel bad vibes around a good friend ? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 02:19 PM PDT Hi I have a very good friend of mine well sorta a good friend. When I'm with her I feel comfortable we sometimes have a good time. But me and her never can have a real conversation without her talking about other people in a negative way she thinks everybody is fake and not real as her. Also she always talk about all the guys she wants to smash Or like. Every time we go out it's about to her getting attention we can never just have a good time if she doesn't get attention or hit on by other guys she gets mad and she would not enjoy her day which I find pretty sad and annoying. We're both 20 years old We never really talk about anything if it doesn't have nothing to do with her looks or boys or the job we work at or the girls she thinks That are after her when they are not the girls actually doesn't like me but my friend always make it seems like everybody has a problem with her when they don't even know she exists we won't even talk if it has nothing to do with those categories. Also sometimes I feel off around her she seems like she's a happy person but I just feel something off about her sometimes I swear I try to ignore it but my intuition gets heavier and heavier That she's not really a good friend as I think she is. I start getting deep intuitions that she's not really a friend my daddy think she's sweet but it's something off about her to me. I sometimes even feel that she's jealous of me I can't even look at her in the eyes cause I feel so uncomfortable and weird. Also I remember one time we was watching a movie With friends that a girl got cheated on by her boyfriend She busted me out And says things like I can relate She remember when my ex cheated on me And how he wasn't **** and kinda laughed. And she always does that it's not a one time thing. One day I caught her up I remembered one time when was kinda drunk She said one time she said things outta anger about me She didn't mean I got upset because we can argue and fight but I'll never wish bad on her |
Posted: 17 Jun 2020 01:48 PM PDT Hey everyone. So I recently got my first car, a 2015 Acura RDX Technology with only 6,000 miles. It was my grandpa's car but him and my grandma have decided they only need one vehicle and, considering their minivan is the car they drive the most, and can get into and out of easiest, they are giving me, their only grand kid, my grandpa's car. I understand that the RDX isn't the best, most fun car for a 16 year old, but it means a lot to me, as it was my grandpa's car and, when I was very young all the way up until I was 11-12, my parents both worked long hours, and I'd be at my grandparents' house in the summer Monday morning until Saturday morning, so I'm very close to them, and my grandpa always took me fishing and hiking and for rides and it means the world to me that he gave me the very car that he would spend hours cleaning every Tuesday night so that it would be all clean when he went golfing on Wednesday. But all my friends see is a typical white soccer mom looking SUV with a beige interior and they just keep saying "woah Karen, are you looking for the manager" or "hey Karen, the PTA meeting is tonight, are you going" and it really bothers me. Please help! |

Question: My bestfriend stormed out on me now I don't know what to do? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 12:50 PM PDT We had lunch together just this past weekend it's been awhile since we seen each other because of the coronavirus. Everything was going well until the end we got into an argument and she said I don't want to be ur friend anymore bye and took off like a mad man. Now I'm struggling to keep my mind off her and can't get cheered up. Did I just lose a friend here? |
Question: Are these signs of a fake friend? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 09:16 AM PDT I met this girl and we were going to be roommates for the following year. However, there were some things that made me decide that I didn't want to room with her. (She'd tell me that she sleeps with a knife under her bed, she hurts herself when her boyfriend doesn't give her attention, etc). Whenever she sees me, she'll say "you're so pretty, I want to be like you, I wish I had your hips/butt, I'm jealous of you." To me, those kind of compliments seem superficial, since she repeatedly told me those things. I was having trouble getting in contact with our professor, so since my friend and I were in the same class, I asked her about the due date. Turns out, she gave me the wrong due date, and I don't know if she did that on purpose. One day, she asked last minute if I could help her drive to New Jersey (we live in NC) and I did. However, she rarely returns favors or checks in on me. I haven't heard from her in almost 2 months. |

Question: Why does a girl hate me for no reason? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 05:23 AM PDT There is a girl at school that has always been best friends with some of my good friends and she's really popular and pretty and we've never talked much but she blocked me on social media and glares at me and when a teacher told me to go and check on her because she'd had a panic attack she just glared and told me to go away (which tbh I get she could have been vulnerable) but she just always makes me feel very uncomfortable but we've literally never had an altercation and my other friends and me get on really well. Do you think I've done something? Or does she just not like me? I guess I just want to make everyone feel happy and welcome so to know that someone has a problem with me is quite upsetting :( |
Question: Did my friend lie in this situation? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 04:40 AM PDT My friend and I were traveling in Europe and some people were asking us where we are from in the USA. Well my friend said San Francisco. When we actually live in San Jose which is 50 miles away. |
Question: How to help a friend with low self-esteem? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 10:28 PM PDT I personally think she's beautiful which is the opposite of what she complains about. She keeps comparing herself to me. She once asked her boyfriend if he thought I was cute and if he would date me. It was weird when she told me that because why would you ask your boyfriend that and then tell me?? Then she would always ask me if I think she's pretty. Even if I told her she is, she thinks I'm lying. She asks things like "do you think I'm as skinny as you?", "everyone likes you you're pretty" etc. And I think shes looking too much into how I look and I dont feel good about it. I always tell her shes beautiful and I honestly mean it I dont know how to make her see that. I'm nothing to be compared to. Sometimes she mentions how short I am when she knows I'm insecure about it but she says its a compliment. I don't like how she does this. Shes my close friend and she makes it seem like I'm competition or something of course I'd feel like ****. It's like our friendship is worth nothing more than that. I like her a lot because shes very fun to be with but when she goes into that whole I'm not good enough and ugly mood I get a bit irritated and I want to slap her. How do I help her? |
Question: Am I a diplomat or just vacationing? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 09:54 PM PDT Hello, I do know now my company is run by me... But how to become a diplomatic chairman? Here's how it started... Ok is it time to build a spaceship that is 10 miles and 14764 cm. What do you do? Things you can and can not do and is it a lot to spend. Hey, I going to take a pilot class also... |

Question: Can you help me understand this person's point of view on money (see details)? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 07:36 PM PDT I had this guy I used to be friends with, FWB really. Over 5 months I racked up 400 dollars in debt getting us out of various dumb situations caused by him, I could write them but they are long stories and would take up 2 pages. The reason I stopped talking to him was we went grocery shopping and he completely ignored me. I couldnt even shop because he was acting like I wasn't there, just saying. I also asked him if he could treat me to dinner to help make up for all the expense I laid out, he refused. 4 times I cleaned his apartment for him when he was overworked, I did that as a friend but still that is something. Finally I watched him as a guest on a youtube video today, and when the host promoted the channel's patreon at the end, my former friend got uncomfortable. I was actually considering getting back in touch with him until I saw that part. He also works in a lucrative field and is well paid. So someone tell me, how does someone have no concept of other people having expenses and being mindful of them? |
Question: One of my friends is ignoring me after I started to date someone? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 07:05 PM PDT One of my friends is ignoring me after I got a boyfriend. I'm 23 and he's 25. We're online friends. We've known each other for 7 years, but we've never met each other in person since he lives in the UK and I live in New Zealand. 3 weeks ago, New Zealand was deemed coronavirus free (until 2 people brought it back in from the UK). During quarantine, I started to message this guy on a dating app (I'm gay). At first it was more friendly conversations, but then we started to flirt with each other. We then exchanged numbers and started calling and eventually facetiming each other. About a week after we were deemed coronavirus free, I met up with him for the first time and we went on a date. However, we never kissed since neither of us kiss on the first date. We went on four more dates since then - and we finally kissed on the fifth one. After our date ended and we both went back to our homes, I took to Twitter to tell people I might not be single anymore. Everyone was happy for me - but my friend seemed off. We always put happy emojis in our messages to each other, but his just said "congrats I guess..." It's been a few days now, and he's starting to get more gradually distant from me. I asked him why he's doing this, but I got the cold shoulder. Why would he be doing this? Does he feel threatened by my (possible) boyfriend or something? |
Posted: 16 Jun 2020 07:02 PM PDT About six months ago someone that I believed to be my "friend" online began bullying me and harassing me to the point that I was sent into an extreme depression because he basically ruined my life for a while. He pushed me to begin cutting myself and attempting suicide, and he makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Recently I've returned to social media and this friend is now upset that I do not want to talk to him. I blocked him but he keeps making new accounts to try and get in touch with me. I have an extreme amount of resentment for this person as they took away six whole months of my life and pushed me to literal suicide. I fear that if I actually talk to him and explain why I'll snap and tell him that all of this is his fault, but I don't want him blaming himself for my cutting and suicide attempts even though he is responsible. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I was responsible for something like that, and I don't want him to be upset that he's the reason to my anguish. So what can I say to him to let him know that I think he's a bully without really hurting his feelings? He took everything away from me when he began harassing me and effectively ruined my life. I feel like I don't owe him my respect but at the same time I don't want to make him as upset as he made me because I'm not as bad as him. |
Question: What does it mean when someone says maybe next time you’ll get me? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 06:19 PM PDT My friend said "maybe next time you'll get me" and I didn't understand what she said meant. |
