I'm only saying this because I am a woman in my late 20s and I have had issues making friends (especially females). I tried not being socially awkward and changing that, but that didn't work nor did it improve my issues. I had issues with past friends because I made terrible decisions. I dealt with being bullied and also being taken advantage of by a narcissist. I still had issues fitting in. I noticed that I do get snubbed so many times by people. I noticed that not fitting in at an Igbo branch for people from my own country (I'm Nigerian) was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I feel so hurt and not good enough because I haven't fit in anywhere. I have cried myself to sleep because I haven't said the words "I love my friends" or "I can't wait to spend my birthday with my friends" in years. In fact, I hate my birthday because I don't have any girl friends to celebrate it with. 

You will say you shouldn't generalize but she said that. A few years ago I was out with 2 friends and I was wearing jeans and a shirt. My jeans weren't new because I didn't feel like shopping because I didn't like my legs. They weren't tight jeans, but then almost everyone was wearing tight jeans. I think she didn't like how I was dressed that day, in my opinion she thought I was sloppy.I almost never bought new clothes because I didn't like my legs.She said I should go shopping and maybe I wasn't used to the idea that I had a job, so I could spend more money. I asked what she thought I should buy and what she thought would look bad on me (without saying anything about my legs).She told me I should buy a-line dresses and miniskirts wouldk look on me bad because I had thick legs.She added that I didn't have to lose weight because I wasn't overweight. She said I just had that body type (I was 5'4 and 126 lbs but I have a disproportionate body). Then she concluded by saying "But men like fat legs".Why do you think she said "Men like fat legs"? I think she didn't like my legs so I don't understand why she talked about men.I don't think men have nothing to do with my legs and I don't care about their opinion. Since I was quite annoyed for the last sentence I replied that I didn't like how a-line dresses looked on me. English isn't my first language.

What should I do? Leave this friend? Talk to the person who's talking behind my back?

He was a guy who we used to see every day at vacations and someday he approached me and flirt with me.Then suddenly i saw my best friend to be very moody even though she tried to hide it...Then she start to not talk to me and my other friend and she avoid usMy other friend was asking me all the time for the guy but my best friend did not asked me anything

Friendships and relationships should be about quality not quantity .

I was in the copier room sweeping the floor around the paper shredder. So I was bent down with my butt in the air when a female coworker came walking in. I turned around and I saw her with her mouth dropped. She wasn't smiling but she looked surprised. She didn't look offended.  Is that a bad thing? I was wearing a belt at least. 

Should I leave the group? I can't stay with her but if I leave she'll talk behind my back and I'm pretty sure no one will tell me anything. What should I do?

My friend talks to me coldly while he talks nicer with the others, when we are in our chat group he answers me nasty in "Congratulations you can read" mode or even when I was talking to him about Black Lives Matter he would say "Is it ok the class is over? "and when we talk in private he always answers me in "OK" mode "Ah" "Cool" and when I made a remark that he was talking to me coldly he told me that I made him feel bad and that I was victimising myself too much whereas before he was nicer and told me that we would be best friends forever and stuff like that. Ah and when I ask him if I don't bother him he say no and when I ask if we are still friends he say yes

I have few, but close, friends and I often feel panicked that they're just pretending to like me so they don't hurt my feelings or sum. There's no reason for it, I've talked about it with one of my friends and she assures me that I really am loved and whatnot. But for some reason I really can't shake the feeling. I always wonder if they're thinking "eww why is she so annoying?" I try to convince myself that they're not thinking that, they are very busy people with better things to think about PLUS IVE ALREADY BEEN TOLD THAT THEY REALLY DONT HATE ME. Haha, whats up with me?

What makes someone truly kind is because they keep choosing to be kind. Even if it means having to sacrifice. Or saying no to others. This is what distinguishes someone who wants to be "kind" from a person who wants to be "nice". The former would choose the path that their conscience dictates. No matter how unpopular it is or that they might be scorned by the people they love. While the latter choose that which will make them look good in front of others. I have this friend that is fun to be around that we go places together. But sometimes she has a way of turning people against me even my family members. She will make parties for my family members and will get the pleasure that I'm not coming. She will tell people our conversations and say I said this and that about them. Another thing she likes to do is Try and make me jealous because we have mutual friends and she would be like I'm going holiday or she will tell them things that she knows that they will tell me. Is this person someone good

I haven't hung out with her for about 2 months now. The first month she was grounded and now she's been working multiple jobs so I haven't seen her this month either. She's so distant. She takes 2 days to respond to snapchats and like 3-5 days to text me back. Yet she posts on her story but somehow can't find the time to reply to me. She keeps saying she's busy with work but I started to get suspicious so I started checking her snapmap location (call me a creep but I wanted to find out the truth) and she's had multiple days off where we could have seen each other, I know she's off cause her Bitmoji is at her house. She keeps telling me she'll make plans and she hasn't come through. What do I do about this? This is so sketch.

I'm not looking for a date more just a causal hangout cause he generally just seems like a cool person, also I'm not straight either way.
