I am trying to figure out if I am being the selfish party or my friend the bride. My friend is getting married during the Covid-19 Pandemic but is still wanting all the extras than come along with a wedding, 2 bridal showers and a bachelorette party. As a bridesmaid and friend i want to support her but keeps placing me in unsafe situations. The bridal shower was originally set up as a Zoom call with everyone dropping off gifts before hand and given a to-go lunch, turned into 2 full on parties with 20 + people each in a very small backyard. The Bachelorette party was to be a Airbnb with a pool turns into, i want to sit on the beach with a house that is smaller and does not have a pool. The differences between the house was that the one was more modern than the other. If this was a year ago it would be no big deal " the bride get what the bride wants" but during these crazy time to me it seams a little selfish. Am I wrong and being extra or is my friend being a Bridezilla?  **PS- her parents are immunocompromised and so am I*****

I have a few guy friends in college. I'm focused on my school work and I don't want a boyfriend. I like to hang around different guys so that I can figure out what I like. Today I was with one of my guy friends and a table or random guys stared at us. It was obvious staring. Why is this?

My girlfriend and I have fallen in love at first sight. It was like we chose each other. She had graduated from college, is very smart, can speak many foreign languages and has a good job in an office, while I am a simple worker and earn not so much while I work a lot, even night shifts, so that I can take care of my dad during the day, who has had a work injury years ago, leaving him unable to cook and tends to forget things. I lost my mom when I was a teenager, and I am basically alone with my dad, and the state doesn't provide a nurse for him. All these hours and not normal biorhytm has affected my health a lot, to the point that if I develop a physical illness won't surprise me. Now I am really low because I will undergo a surgery to the veins of the legs, so I won't be able to take care of my dad for at least one or two days. My girlfriend offered to cook for my dad and visit him, but my dad has become anxious with other people except of me and his siblings. I think I have becoke a burden to her, an unlucky, poor boyfriend hit hard by life. I'm tired of feeling like this. I want to leave her. When I told her she started crying and said no, that she won't accept this, that I'm saying this only out of frustration. Everytime I mention this she cries and tells me to stop, we can never have a normal conv about it. I just don't know what to do. I'm really tired, physically and mentally. I just want to take care of my dad without feeling like I am not normal She also said: I never complained about anything, it isn't even a problem for me, I love you and I will always stand by you. How will I know if she says this just to make me happy and that deep down it doesn't bother her at all to have a boyfriend like me? I never took her on holiday cause I can't afford leaving my dad alone for weeks. I never bought her something expensive cause I need to save. My wage is low. I feel so bad inside, so inferior...

We've been together for 3 years now and it's been a long distance relationship. We've been planning our wedding for next month since a year ago. But lately he has been complaining about me wanting a little family party. He went and got a garden with a wedding package but didn't really want to cuz he told me. We are a month away from our wedding and he told me I didn't even send him money to pay for the wedding. And that I'm not responsible because of that. The entire wedding costs like 1,000 dollars due to the exchange of money. He's in Mexico. I'm in California. I'm spending around 3,000 or even more just to go to where he is, pay my hotel, my ticket and my parents. He doesn't understand. If I had the money I would send him but I think as a man he can pay that. I'm spending more. This is unacceptable sont you think?
