Question: Is it wrong of me not to help my friend? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 05:50 PM PDT My friend has an insane amount of work to complete by tomorrow, which is the last day for grades to be submitted. I take some of the same classes, and I completed all of the work on time even though I had a lot going on so I didn't have to scramble before the end of the school year. Is it wrong of me not to offer to help now that she has to make everything all up (I'm talking 20+ assignments for just one class) when she didn't do them when we were supposed to? She's asking for help and I've clarified a few assignments but it seems like she wants more help, like maybe to copy some assignments? Btw, I mean help as in either giving her all the answers or taking hours to explain 20+ assignments in depth since they correspond with lessons. |
Question: Can I go out with a friend to a restaurant? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 05:17 PM PDT Should I go out with my friend over to a restaurant? what social distancing mesaures will be taken to me and my friend? Are the dining rooms open or just drive thru only? I'm talking about dine in and fast food restaurants like Wendy's Perkins Pizza Hut. |

Question: Has this ever happened to anyone - friend related? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 04:52 PM PDT A friend of mine blocked me on social media, but I was friends with her mom too and I assumed she'd block me or unfriend me at the least, to my surprise she hasn't done either. We're still friends and it's been a few years by now... I'm wondering why? I know she loves her daughter greatly and I'd think they'd be of one mind here... but I was wondering if maybe she's a link to my friend if she chooses to try and reach out again... She once said my friend would miss me a lot once I moved, and move I did... I got butthurt over something petty she did when I'd flown 3000 miles to go to the same convention and possibly have a chat with my friend, turned out we all were present at the convention, and though I'd tried to reach out to her, she never got back to me... she was there, knew I was there, and didn't attempt to even text me... i got mad and called her out as a bad friend... i said it was petty, and she blocked me... so still weird that her mom is friends with me, but if she doesn't delete me, why should i delete her... this is why i wonder if she's trying to bridge the divide - keep the line of communication open so to speak... has this ever happened to anyone? Am i reading too much into it? before anyone answers/asks this: yes I've commented/shared certain things she's posted that I politically agree with, she never responds to me, but it's not like she forgets we're still friends, she's occasionally liked things I share/repost, so.... still a question mark in my head? by "it was petty" i'm talking about the situation, not that i told her she was petty, wanted to make that clear too |
Question: Missing My Best Friend, he was an exchange student. ? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 04:10 PM PDT Well, I ended up becoming really close friends with an exchange student, honestly speaking he's my first guy-friend and it truly feels like I'm losing him :( We're just so alike and end up laughing over terrible jokes together. He just got back to his home country today, and I'm actually so miserably sad, I miss him! I just can't stop thinking about him and all of the wonderful memories I have with him, I'm losing sleep! What can I do to relieve some of this sadness? |
Question: How do I make my girl like my girl BFF? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 03:59 PM PDT So me and this girl has been dating for two months. She says I treat her perfectly the only thing that bothers her is my female best friend. My bff has cheated and been a home wrecker in the past but I keep trying to assure her I won't cheat or leave for my bff, but it still bugs her. My girl told me it makes her uncomfortable because she thinks my bff has feelings for me and doesn't like the way me and my bff talk because we're affectionate. I tried to explain it's a different kind of love between her and my bff. And that I want her and not my bff. It's at the point I told her to leave or respect me and my bff friendship and I told her my bff was my other half because she was here before my gf. How can I make my gf understand better? Because her bugging me about it is getting annoying. |
Question: I hate girls but I’m a girl myself? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 03:41 PM PDT I ******* hate girls, sometimes when I see one or hear them talking about me I want to strangle them or start a fight but I keep that in so I don't hurt anyone. I hate that gender because, they have periods, just a lot of emotions bursting out, dresses, skirts, a lot of expectations from boys and just I can explain all of it. When I had girls as friends they always told me to get skinnier, take care of my skin, go to gymnastic, dance, anything they expected a girl to do. After 2 years of being their friend I burst out and told them I couldn't do it I hated being a girl and from that day I started getting bullied and picked on by girls and some guys that say it's wrong for me to be a tomboy. At school I get bullied by girls for acting like a "boy" I dress like a boy, I act like a boy and even look like a boy. My mom always takes me shopping and it usually takes 3 hours to come back home since she gets me a lot of dresses and skirts and stuff she wants me to wear, the clothes I have I buy with my own money because my mom doesn't buy the clothes I want for me because she says "I want my daughter to look like a princess/celebrity" It's just a lot more I got to say about why I hate them. Any advice on how to stop hating on girls or anything? Any opinions? |
Question: Help: I’ve been thinking about my older sister a lot, I’m a male. ? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 03:29 PM PDT I'm 30 and my sister is 32. She's married with a baby son and another son coming along. My sister and I were kids we played together and had so much fun. But as we entered adolescence we started to drift apart. But once she had a child and I would help my mom babysit, it brought my sister and I closer together again. So I can't stop thinking about her. I'd like to spend some time with her and hang out with her but I know she's busy with her family and everything. I want to rekindle some of that love and fun we had together as kids. Plus I find her physically attractive. I'm kind of attracted to her as disturbing as that sounds. |
Question: Should I go to prom? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 01:38 PM PDT Yesterday I was told that my school is doing a prom for us on saturday, on a beach. For juniors and seniors that graduated. We had graduation 2 weeks ago and I graduated. Except with this short notice I'm not sure if I should go. I don't even have a dress. Will I regret it if I don't go? |
Question: What to expect with moving in with friends? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 12:58 PM PDT Yep you read that right, im moving in with friends hopefully the next month, and it'll be my first place other than parents. There'll be four of us living in a house and we plan to stay there long term up to at least 5 years to mainly save money for a house in future. Anyways i was wondering what should i expect with moving in with friends? like drama, expected rare fights over silly things. I'm looking forward to it and will be finally able to start having a bit of independence control in my life. So yeah has anyone shared house or flat with their friends? And what happened? Thanks |
Question: What should I do about this? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 11:59 AM PDT I share an apartment with a really obnoxious mean old woman and she keeps falsely accusing me of stealing her food, like her hotdogs and her lunchmeat. She keeps lying to all of our neighbors and saying that I stole her food and steal her food. What should I do about this? |
Question: If 30 is not old but not young either then what is it? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 10:32 AM PDT |
Question: Should I cut off from these friends? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 09:03 AM PDT They always talk behind my back on group chats, saying that it's "funnier when he's not here". Historically I've been good with banter (known them since high school), though I think they've used that as a reason to push harder on me than others. We're adults now and it just seems immature, but they haven't slowed down even though I stopped years ago. I seem to be a talking piece that gets thrown around in group chats, which everyone gets to vent all of their hate and insecurities onto and they seem to love it the more personal it gets; ripping on my past family issues, my health (I'm chronically ill), my "worth to society", my financial situation, etc. I struggle to find the punchline in these jokes, because it's literally just me. And they just don't do it to anyone else, or when they do it's nowhere near that extent. And I don't even give a reaction these days, I just ignore it or wait it out (it happens when I'm not there), but they still do it. I only talk to 2 of them personally and I enjoy my time with those 2 people, but even they join in on the group chat, but act friendly in private messages after. It's hard to say this as a grown man, but I think I'm being bullied, haha. I only have about 2 friends outside of that friendship group who I don't often talk to, and I'm terrible at making new friends. If I cut off from these guys now, I'd be pretty lonely. But wouldn't that be better? They seem to hate me so much I think I'd still come up in "banter" if I cut ties. I'd love to be able to come up with a cunning response to their messages, but where can I start when I have 4-5 individuals shitting on me at once, you just can't write a response to that, so I don't. And they haven't chilled out in the past when I've told them to give it a rest. It's also not limited to online messages, a lot of the worst treatment happened in real life. And by grown man I mean I'm 18. |

Posted: 21 Jun 2020 09:46 PM PDT She put dark magic on me because another witch told me that a friend did, she got so upset and blocked me, like wtf? All the conversations we had about those things she kept that from me. Should I cut her loose completely |
Question: Would you be annoyed by this or not ? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 09:08 PM PDT If you told your close friend for almost 15 years. that you soon plain on changing your name. and you told your friend the name that you prefer to be called but they keep on calling you your current name. and you keep on correcting them over & over again.would you be annoyed by it or not.? |
Question: Whats wrong with me? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 08:57 PM PDT alright so. I grew up in a foreign household and my mom always told me (best translated to English) "remember what I tell you, no one will always be there for you, best case scenario you depart from someone by death with no betrayal." and ive always believed that. and idk ive always kept this in the back of my mind and for the most part its turned out to be true. people that I believe I can trust (friends, flings, so on) have just up and left for ridiculously dumb reasons even after the fact that Ive sacrificed my time and money on them when they need it, and let me add the fact that they were all draining( but i would never say it to them). anyways now I'm coming on about 5 years with a friend and he has been nothing but sweet and genuine but now i just want to get as far away from him as I can. and honestly, Idk why. this will be the longest friendship /any-ship Ive ever had and now idk I just want it to end. and Im not sure what to do.I'm not saying hes perfect i mean any friendship has it's up and downs ( he at one point was emotionally draining couldn't get his life together, better now) but now I'm more likely to hang out with new friends from work or I've met through other people or on campus. I tell him im busy with work and classes and kinda brush him to the side. Im doing what all the other people have done to me to him. and i feel like a huggge dick. anyways if anyone has any advice id appreciate it. also hes my gay best friend so its nothing romantic. thank you! |
Posted: 21 Jun 2020 07:12 PM PDT I have not talked to this person in 5 years. How best should I reach out and is it a good idea? |
Question: Why did my highschool friends ghost me? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 06:10 PM PDT I graduated high school in 2011. I had two friends that I thought I was pretty close with in school but since about a year after graduation, I haven't seen either of them much at all over the years nor have we spoken more than a few times. Even when we do speak I'm always the one who initiated conversation and they don't always respond. I admit I was a little mischievous in school and always played silly pranks but if that is the reason for the friendship ending then why did they wait so long? Is this normal among friends after high school? |
Question: Why did he change so much? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 09:06 AM PDT My boyfriend went from perfect, respectful and serious guy who never touches you and never flirts to some shallow person whose heart starts beating really fast and puts his hand on my thighs and hips just cause I wore a dress and it's summer. He pulled me in and squeezed me against himself so that my face would have been in his neck and his eyes looked weird, as if he was possessed. Why has he changed? Why does he act like this now? He tells me he will die because of me, because of what I do to him. But I didn't do anything! |
Question: Girlfriend had a tear in her eye and she wiped it right away... what does that mean ? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 04:30 AM PDT It was her very first time doing it, I asked her if she was ok or if I hurt her but she said no, I kept on, at the end she looked empty and I hugged her, and she hugged me back. |
